Tubbo's got such a specific RP style I can't explicitly describe it but after seeing him RP a few different characters with varying levels of sincerity it becomes clear. His RP style has its merits and it has its drawbacks but its HIS yknow. Everything he RPs is so clearly a TUBBO character always

how the hell do people keep mistaking ur ctubbo posts for qtubbo. all i know is qtubbo is sad about a marshmallow man being kidnapped or something like what are the similarities between these characters other than PLayed by the same guy and. goat sometimes?
i assume its partly due to the fact that the version of the post that blew up has rory sadtrashking’s tubbo on it, who usually draws Q!Tubbo stuff? But also because q!tubbo is more prevalent rn because she’s actively being worked on although he doesn’t have c!tubbos trans faggot swag but i assume thats part of it

I think the thing that fascinates me is to a certain extent, c!Dream and c!Punz aren’t wrong.
Like, they certainly aren’t RIGHT, they were literally committing atrocities with an “ends justify the means” mindset, obviously the harm they were doing to people wasn’t okay
But like. The ends they wanted was a world where people don’t die. Where you can be with the ones you love forever, where you’ll never run out those little moments that make living worth it, where you’ll never have to be afraid. c!Tommy tried to argue that the fact life is temporary is what makes it beautiful, but that isn’t objective fact. We have to be okay with life being temporary, and maybe some people find comfort in viewing it as beautiful, but if there were a way for everyone to live forever it wouldn’t be wrong to take it.
The problem is that if the only way to find the answer is through hurting others, it’s not worth it. The ends don’t justify the means, and no goal is worth causing so much pain. That’s where Punz & Dream were wrong—they believed that in defeating death any harm they caused would be temporary and therefore meaningless, which was just wrong. Wanting to understand the existential mysteries of their world, wanting to understand and overcome death—that wasn’t the problem. The problem was putting their goal above human life.
And again that ties back into why I love this ending so much—c!Tubbo said the difference between them and c!Dream was mercy, but it was actually recognizing the value in life for life’s own sake. c!Tommy recognizing c!Dream’s humanity—not forgiving him but understanding him—is a more powerful victory than killing him. It’s more than just defeating an enemy. It’s defeating an ideal.
I think that’s a pretty powerful bit of writing :)

"Was it wrong for Tubbo to live react to Sapnap's Twitlonger Apology on his alt that rarely gets more than 7k viewers at any given time?" Literally no it wasn't sorry 😭
It isn't like Tubbo tweeted with a flashy "SAPNAP DRAMA!?" title and advertised what he was doing to get views. Tubbo regularly streams for like 5-7 hours on his alt doing whatever he feels like. He didn't PLAN to go and engineer a "drama" stream he just wanted to share his thoughts on Sapnap's response. And it's legitimate criticism too lol

Still obsessed with the line in knack ch4 "As if Tommy is one to talk. At least Tubbo owns more than one shirt."
Like. I know realistically that they've known each other for about 2 days (meeting on the sidewalk up through the hotel room, gas station bathroom up through techno's house, now going into the third day), but the implications here are that
in the old world tommy only had the one shirt
and
every time tommy's appeared in this series he's been wearing the iconic red and white top
