I'm a little bit sad that we don't have pictures of my paternal grandma for the altar since this is the first dia de muertos since she passed. And I gave away ALL my stuffed animals and they were mostly gifts from her and I feel I didn't think that through. I found a necklace she gave me and put it in the altar tho :)

hello my name is titita

today i will be participating in the universal conseils scientific custom of creating a future log so ensure that invaluable information isn't lost in the event of a catastrophe.

i am the leader of a contact specialist group. it is our job to establish the means codes and information necessary to establish contact with new sentient species, in the hopes of forming favorable relations.

today i will be discussing the most recent contact we have made, one the is probably the most terrifying discovery in all of the history of the uc

my people the calo have a sister planet from the same solar system the zalo, our first contact was made as we were both fleeing our solar system, us from a cooling planet rendering it uninhabitable for us and them from rising volcanic activity destroying there air and crating a terrible greenhouse effect. our ancestors created what would become the universal conseil.

our scientist discovered that our similarities were due to the fact that during the early days of our solar system our planets were being hit with so much debris that three out of 4 of the rocky midgets started to exchange rocks with microorganisms on them.

of course we asked ourselves weather or not the third planet of the triad could support life and discovered that while it did that third planets life had no chance of sentience due to the hostile environment.

further monitoring showed that life on the planet showed that life on the planet was all but destroyed 250 million years ago. trusting that life on our sister planet would never recover.

we stopped montering it after this.

we set up on different planets and put a restriction over our home star, seeing as none of the planets that it ciced were anything close to what would ever be habitable for sentient life.

we named the third planet saphis after our god of the dead

or home passed into legends and myths.

Memórias do dia das Mães

Todos os dias das Mães, desde os meus 17 anos foram só de saudades. Agradeço todos os dias, pelos pais que Deus me deu aqui na Terra. Lembro de minha mãe todos os dias. Ainda lembro-me das nossas últimas conversas, do som de sua voz. Tão suave. Pois era uma pessoa mansa, calma e paciente. Quando ando, cozinho, limpo a casa, aconselho meus filhos. Enfim, a cada passo que dou, ela está presente em minhas memórias. Está presente pelas expressões "Oh Glória!", "Deus proverá", "Glórias a Deus". Todos os dias a qualquer hora, ela dizia essas expressões. E eu as uso no meu dia a dia. Todas as dicas e broncas que ouvi de minha mãe. Usei - as para Criar os meus três filhos. Minha mãe e eu tínhamos um segredo. Quando estávamos sozinhas, ela me chamava de "Titita". Eu morria de vergonha, quando esse apelido saía na frente de minhas amigas. Uma vez perguntei o porquê desse apelido. Ela respondeu: “– É porque você é minha raspinha do tacho." Ou seja, para minha mãe Titita era sinônimo de "caçula”. E meu pai muitas vezes sorrindo, para me pirraçar, dizia: “– Minha Titica vem cá". E sorria horrores e eu também. Eu dizia por que Titica? Titica é significa bosta pai.  Ele dizia: “– Meu cocozinho de galinha". Eu sorria muito quando ele dizia isso. Mas Titita ou Titica eram apelidos carinhosos para dizer o quanto que eles me amavam. Eu sinto muitas saudades dos dois. Eu nunca chamei minha filha de Titita, pois esse apelido carinhoso foi um presente de minha mãe. Feliz dia das mães! Marcus Henrique Juliana Melo Matheus Melo.
