They advertised forthcoming storybooks by subtly introducing new characters with each new design. One endpaper, used for the first time in September 1904, introduced a hedgehog character who hid her name ... By the next endpaper, first used in September 1907, the hedgehog was revealed to be Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle.

Veterinary Work Experience
A small U-turn from English to finding experience in Veterinary...
After graduating in English, I have returned to another passion of mine in veterinary medicine. So over the summer and autumn I found a couple of different experiences to find out whether the subject truly is something I want to explore more. To apply to study Veterinary Medicine, experience in an animal setting, and a clinical setting are vital for the application process.

Mountain reading Beatrix Potter's books to Dew when he's regressed and vice versa. Dew loves The Tale of Tom Kitten, whereas Mountain's favourite is The Take if Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle. they both love The Tale of Peter Rabbit though. sometimes Rain will join them and his favourite is The Tale of Mrm Jeremy Fisher. when Phantom joins them he always insists they read The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin. but really its Mountain and Dew's thing. they normally read them sat together on the wicker bench in Mountain's greenhouse or snuggled up in Mountain's bed when the weather is too bad to go outside (normally when this happens its Dew who's reading to Mountain)
