Things I liked about AOB Part 5 Volume 3:
How Rozemyne's and Ferninand's love languages are acts of service and NAGGING each other with things like:
Rozemyne creates a whole grand setup so Ferdinand can relax for one night at the academy.
Rozemyne and Ferdinand's little exchange of "Welcome Home" "It is...good to be back" in the Ehrenfest dormitory
She makes a soft comfy bench for Ferdinand to sleep on and in a previous extra she compared HIM to a BENCH because of how much he SUPPORTS her.
A delicious dinner with all of his favorites (with enough leftover meals to last Ferdinand for MONTHS)
What do they do for fun? They end up doing a science/alchemy project to make multiple recording devices/gem to be put into stuffed animals. Because you know, they're overpowered nerds.
Said recording devices are used to scold each other. Like the messages are reminders to eat, be mindful of your health and even *gasp* a bit of praise
Rozemyne shoves research documents at Ferdinand as 'reading' material to distract him from reprimanding her. It does not work, but Ferdinand still stays up all that night binge reading them anyway.
Ferdinand does two medical checkups, one when they first meet that night and first thing in the morning. He remains hyper observant about her health...to the point where Wilfried and Oswarld are even surprised by his thoroughness.
Ferdinand's sincere "Thank you, Rozemyne, Rihyarda." WITH THIS SOFT FACE!
THESE TWO JUST CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER SO MUCH and I am going to scream about it until my head falls off.

Reads manga style/right to left not left to right. :D
This is an amalgamation of a pre-existing shoujo manga, (A Sign of Affection) and Ascendance of a Bookworm. Since as you can probably see, I replaced the main characters, (Yuki and Itsuomi) with Rozemyne and Ferdinand. I'm kinda trying to 'study' manga layouts- (*cough- great excuse for reading copious amounts of manga *cough) so I tried using a few pages as reference to see what the composition was like and all that. This is my Shoujo example. I've got some half-finished Shonen ones as well, but this was the first one I got on to finishing since action shots are not my strong point. Even if I have the appropriate reference.
And no, that last picture was not in A Sign of Affection, I just have a certain inability to draw anything completely seriously so I couldn't help myself. It was also a case of-
Would Ferdinand and Rozemyne actually act like that? I mean... I dunno if they would, but if it was someone else's misinterpretation-
Which is where Hannelore came in. Because I can definitely imagine her fangirling on the sidelines.
Anyway.
This took way longer than I thought it would, (Random insert- I HATE drawing Ferdinand's profile. It is so HARD to draw!! >:/ Doable, but it is not one of my favourite things. That's for sure) but it was worth it. I think. Looks cool anyway.
:D

Ok, but the reason Ferdinand loves Myne so much is because she was the first person to love him unconditionally. Now I'm not saying Ferdinand wasn't loved, clearly Sylvester loves his brother dearly, but because of how Yurgenschmidt works no one was in a position to love Ferdinand just as is. Something else in their lives had to take precedence over him, but for Myne, Ferdinand was a priority. She put him first, and no one in his life has. For the first time, someone cared about him openly without fear of repercussions, and needless to say, that fact resonated with him.
