*a/n: I don't know for sure if this headcanon or just fanfic. But oh well. Imma write it anyway. Ya'll seem to like what I'm dishin' out. This part is gonna be a heavier one. This one is really long, so I apologize, I couldn’t stop myself. Feel free to comment. Do you like it? Hate it? Can’t live without it?

Happy birthday to me! So here’s a treat for you:

A month had passed since you first had that nightmare.

An important party was tonight, one like no other, a Stark party.

Bucky remembered it well, the night before he was shipped off to England for the war.

All this time and still no promised flying cars, the corner of Bucky's mouth crept into a kind of smile. Those were good times, simple times.

Your feelings for each other had been brewing like a fine wine or aged cheese, time was the clincher in all of this. but neither of you had the guts to come out and say those three overused words. I love you.

Bucky exhaled, long and drawn out. For the first time in damned near 80 years he was all butterflies. He took a swig of his drink. Hoping it would wash away his nerves too. He loved you to the moon and back, but he was cursing himself for not channeling his old self. Not having the balls to come out and tell you.

“You are one smitten kitten, you know that?”- Steve’s voice called from next to Bucky, leaning casually on the bar, waving to the bartender for a scotch on the rocks.

“Don’t remind me, old man.” Bucky teased, unable to help a chuckle leave his throat in the presence of familiar company.

“Oh that’s not fair. how old are you again? Oh.” Steve whistled lowly as you came down the stairs, “Go get her, Tiger.” Steve encouraged and nudged Bucky on the shoulder.

Bucky was completely and utterly mesmerized. Suddenly he’d forgotten to breathe, to dance, to move. She was like staring into a flame. Pure beauty that just existed, he knew he wasn’t officially yours yet, but damn, he could feel the whole world stop just being with you.

You walked up to him, smiling bashfully and chuckling with a tad of nervousness.

You weren’t used to being dressed like this or even going to fancy things like a Stark party.

But you could survive the night if you were with Bucky. That was all you needed to know.

You smoothed out the edges of your dress and looked back at him, making eye contact, “Umm, is it too much?” you asked innocently.

Bucky blinked himself out of the trance you gave him, “What? No, no! Not at all. You’re...pshhh, gorgeous.”

You smiled wide, unable to control your reaction, your eyes gleamed into his for a long moment. Your eyes flitted to his lips. Kiss me, dammit. You thought.

People came and went, but you and Bucky mostly stayed close to the bar and the couch areas. you weren’t exactly interested in talking to strangers.

Bucky drank but he stopped somewhere half way through the night, he didn’t want to haze your memory with a blackout of alcohol. He let you drink to unwind and made sure you didn’t get yourself too drunk.

But drunk you got. You challenged Nat to a drinking contest.

As the party dissipated and only the avengers were left, sitting in the common room, Nat and you still were on about drinking.

everyone was there, Tony, Thor, Steve, Wanda, Vision, Nat, Bruce, Clint, Sam, Bucky, and you.

Bucky watched you like a hawk. Took poured drinks from you, to which you reacted, “Hey?! I wasn’t done with that, Tin-Man!” you were a happy drunk, and giggled at your own name calling.

Bucky found it adorable, but he would never admit it.

Natasha ended up drunk as well. The two of you never figured out who won, or didn’t. You surmised the both of you would either end up upchucking in a toilet by morning or in bed groaning through a nasty hangover.

You had to take your shoes off and misplaced them long ago.

Bucky collected your heels and set them at your bedroom door, waiting for you. He found a classic red rose, and set it inside your heel. A memento for tonight. He sat next to you, making sure you didn’t get up too fast and trip on nothing but your own drunkenness.

You blocked out everyone else, partly because of the alcohol and partly because you were wholly enamored with him.

Bucky didn’t care that the others were watching the two of you like a romance movie. Their opinions didn’t matter.

“Y/N?” he said sweetly to get your attention, raking your head from his shoulder and peering at him through your naturally long eyelashes.

“Hmm?” his flesh hand was warm and gentle, except for the callouses left on the surface, clasping the crook of your neck. Dragging you in slow, making you shudder slightly. His lips met yours, soft and tender pressure, neither one of you gaining over the other. Just a joining of two lost souls, in a chaste lingering kiss. The kiss made goosebumps spread over every inch of you, you loved it, and couldn’t get enough. You broke the kiss, averting your eyes only for a second, until locking your gaze with his finally. Frankly, neither of you needed to say, I love you.

Your cheeks grew redder as you were surrounded by multiple hoots, hollers, whistles, and applause. The room a-burst with life, joy, and relief.

You were shy and hid your face in Bucky’s shoulder, the metal cooling your skin underneath the fabric of his tuxedo.

He sensed this and held your hand, giving you a slight tug of a grip, as if to say, ‘It’s alright, I’ve got you, Doll.’

Sam and Steve had grins from ear to ear. Thor rejoiced by raising his glass and taking a large swig from it. Tony muttered an ‘Ugh, finally!’. Vision and Bruce shyly averted their eyes to the floor, blushing and smiling but happy for the two of you. Clint winked and Wanda rested her elbows on her knees cradling her head and smiling wide. Nat smiled, and clapped gleefully.

“Ooooh please tell me you two lovebirds are gonna have babies! lots of babies! I bet they’ll be so cute! You just have to name them after me. Sasha or Natalie would work for a girl. Maybe Nate for a boy!” Nat rambled on.

Normally her comment wouldn’t phase you, but that was the last thing you wanted to hear. It was your Kryptonite. Bucky noticed something had changed in you.

“Shut up. Don’t you ever say that again to me.” You looked at Nat with a disconnected and deepened anger, sharp twinges of sadness poking through your facial expressions. You ripped your hand from Bucky’s.

“Y/N?” Bucky asked as he called for you dumbfounded. You could hear a pin drop in the middle of the room, an awkward tension forming.

You angrily stumbled to the bar, grabbing the entire bottle of Fireball, taking large gulps.

Nat was deeply offended, her face screwed up into a miffed expression. She turned her head and gawked at you.

“Hey?! What’s your damn problem, Y/N?” she confronted you in her drunk state.

You clenched your jaw and scoffed, Bucky made his way to you, terrified that he didn’t know what was wrong. he placed a hand on your shoulder, which you shrugged off harshly. Your feet tapping loudly on the floor as your approached the couch, nearly getting into Nat’s face. The whole room was on high alert, ready to break up a nasty cat fight.

“You wanna know what’s wrong with me? Do you know what my mission was in HYDRA? I was a Breeder. For 4 fucking years they injected with me with semen to breed new weapons for them. Yeah I got to feel them inside me for a while but they all died eventually. The one that did survive birth died in agony after two minutes. Some fucking life that is! I was supposed to make the perfect killers. A cross between me and whoever the fuck a Winter Soldier was. So when I say, shut up. You shut the fuck up about it!!” You chucked the bottle to the ground, shattering loudly. Nat’s eyes were glazed over and wet, tears threatening to spill over, barely above a whisper she pleaded, “Y/N, I’m so sorry. I didn’t know. I didn’t know”

At the mention of the name Winter Soldier, the entire room gasped and stood still at the news.

You stormed off, tears steadily streaming down your cheeks, sloppily cascading over your breasts and soaking into your dress. you passed Tony who called your name but you brushed him off, “Nice party Stark.” was the last thing echoed in the room.

You left through the hallway and rushed yourself to Bucky’s bedroom, locking the door behind you. Covering yourself in his bedding, and wailing into his pillow. You had only known Bucky as Bucky, not as the Winter Soldier, the truth of the situation was kept from you. And you were oblivious to the shock going on in the common room.

Bucky didn’t breathe, he slumped down against the wall of the bar. defeated and shell-shocked. His hands trembled and he covered his face as it sunk in more. he whimpered and sat with his face in his hands. until he raked his metal hand through his hair and pounded it into the bar, leaving a hole.

fic: Meet Me Under the Spotlight - Part II

Rating: PG-13 Word Count: ~5800 Characters: Steve/Natasha and the ensemble Summary: A continuation of that celebrity social media au no one asked for.

A/N: I hesitated about revisiting this story because the format was so unique and it flowed incredibly well and I wasn’t sure if I could replicate that. Also, in terms of the universe itself, I wasn’t sure what story I wanted to tell next that would still be fun to read through social media. With that said, I thought about it a lot and had so many things I wanted to add and other characters I wanted to include. I just planned on revisiting this ‘verse through headcanons or blurbs for you darlings, but I took another crack at it instead, and I had just as much fun writing it this time as I did the first time!

By the way, I’ve officially dubbed this ‘verse the Marvelous ‘verse. Because I will be coming back to it.

‘Marvelous’ Season Finale Recap: “How the Mighty Fall”

SPOILER ALERT! This post contains plot details from the Marvelous season three finale, episode twenty-two, “How the Mighty Fall,” below.

Let’s start by getting this out there: no, we’re still not over it. And with three whole months between now and when Marvelous is scheduled to start filming Season 4, we’re sure the tears won’t stop flowing for a while.

Last night’s episode was the culmination of every heartbreaking fight we had to endure between our heroes, and every hasty action they took came back full circle with a sucker punch to our hearts! This was the lowest point the series has come to yet, and even after watching an entire season of everything falling apart, we still didn’t expect it to happen in such a spectacular fashion.

We’ll be back to get into the gory details soon, but in case you were too caught up in your tears to follow every minute of the finale, here are the highlights:

Black Widow’s betrayal that sent fans into a rage at the end of last week’s episode - episode twenty-one, “A Butterfly in a Web” - turned out to be for good reasons. Which we never doubted, but did you have to take such a hard shot at the Captain to do it?

Evidently, yes. Because not only did the Captain realize too little too late that she was protecting him, but his initial abandonment of her after their fallout ended in grave consequences. He barely makes it to her in time before she can bleed out to death, and when she wakes up, she has no recollection of anything. Not of what happened to her, not of betraying him, and not of anything that has to do with the Team at all. We’re not sure exactly how far this memory loss goes, but it was very clear from her confused and shaken expression when she wakes up that it’s pretty grim. And now that she’s without her memories, the Captain is more lost than ever. Guess it takes temporarily (hopefully temporarily?) losing every precious moment together to put things into perspective.

The escalating tension between Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch is irony at its finest: Quicksilver has spent the entire season as the overprotective older brother to Scarlet Witch, which unfortunately meant that Scarlet Witch has spent the entire season feeling sheltered and suffocated. She finally gets what she wants - a chance to put her newfound control over her powers to work, without Quicksilver hovering over her shoulder - and that left her open to being kidnapped. Understandably, Scarlet Witch could have avoided this with her eyes closed and both hands tied, but she had a little something else to deal with:

The Winter Soldier and Falcon, who have had no love lost between them this season, are quite literally at each other’s throats when they join Scarlet Witch to investigate a lead that takes them into the mountains to sniff out a secret bunker. Their fight last night had been the biggest and ugliest yet, and as expected, they don’t realize how gravely it would cost them until Scarlet Witch - too wrapped up in trying to keep them from killing each other - is snatched from under their noses. And no, it wasn’t the thing they needed to come to some kind of truce. If anything, it only made things worse.

Hawkeye and Thor had left in the previous episode to follow a lead of their own, and as expected, they also run into a nasty baddie of their own. And the blowout was far more fatal than you could imagine. When Agent 13 and Agent Hill were finally able to find them and bring them back to the safety of the Facility, they realized that Thor’s powers were completely gone - so it looks as if healing his eye isn’t something that will happen soon - and Hawkeye is in a coma.

Looks like we’ll need to stock up on tissues for now, because with no indication about how things will end up for another few months, we’re left with broken heroes and even more broken hearts.

Everything You Need to Know About the ‘Marvelous’ Season 4 Teaser Trailer

Last week the Marvelous official Twitter announced that the show’s teaser trailer would not be included in the CW sizzle reel due to “production complications”, much to the disappointment of us Marvels everywhere. Little did we know that not only were we still getting that teaser, but we were getting it an entire week early!

When Natasha Romanoff dropped by The Late Night Show last night, it seemed like a typical guest appearance. But we should have known something was up when, just hours before airtime, the Marvelous cast and crew posted tweets upon tweets encouraging fans to tune in, then took to Instagram to post photos of the entire gang gathered in Nick Fury’s penthouse apartment to watch the show. We know this cast and crew love to show their support for each other, but all this seemed like a lot of fuss over a simple talk show appearance, right?

So. Wrong.

“I was so sure I’d get her to dish about her trip,” Peter Quill shared after the show, referring to the Hawaiian vacation where Natasha Romanoff and co-star Steve Rogers seemed to be closer and cozier than ever. Photos of the couple out and about across the islands had made fans swoon over their screens, but not nearly as much as the incredibly intimate photo the pair had posted to Twitter themselves! But if we thought that Peter Quill would finally get the scoop we all wanted, we were mistaken. “I was prepared for every trick Nat could’ve thrown my way except for this one!” Quill had laughed. “I still want answers, but, come on! How could you top that surprise?”

In case you’ve been living under a rock -- or if you want to watch it a few dozen more times like we have -- then here’s the Marvelous Season 4 Teaser Trailer that Natasha surprised the world with last night.

We start with a black screen, and the Captain narrating: “When I woke up, they told us we’d won. That the war was over.”

Flashes of scenes in quick succession: Hawkeye in an infirmary bed connected to tubes, bandaging wrapped around his eyes; Scarlet Witch screaming, hands pressed to her head; the Winter Soldier and Falcon on a snowy mountain, both doubled over, blood on the snow; Agent 13 throwing Iron Man’s helmet across the room, nearly hitting Agent Hill’s head as it cracks against the wall.

Black Widow standing in her room, her back to the camera as she reaches for something on the desk, fading into a shot of the Captain watching her from the doorway as his narration continues: “But they didn’t tell me what we’d lost.”

Thor and Quicksilver in the training room, Quicksilver grabbing Thor’s arm and yanking him back as he says, “We have to go after her!” with Thor curtly replying, “If we do, she’s as good as dead.”

Scarlet Witch gathering her energy between her palms, her eyes glowing as men in the foreground aim their rifles; a quick second of nothing, then a shot of a bunker in the snowy mountains erupting into a red explosion, fading into a scene of Falcon and Winter Soldier watching it collapse from afar.

Agent Hill, Agent 13, and Hawkeye (his eyes still wrapped in bandaging) standing over a holographic table as Agent 13, clearly distraught, asks, “All that sacrifice and we only put a Band-Aid on the problem?” Agent Hill answers with, “Maybe, and it’s going to be for nothing if we can’t fix this,” to which Hawkeye scoffs and replies, “Look at us. We can’t even fix ourselves.”

An ominous shot of the cube-like form of energy used to seal Thor’s powers within it, currents of electricity sparking out from its core; then Thor wincing in pain before hurling a weight across the training room.

Black Widow and the Captain standing close together as she hesitantly reaches up to touch his face; then the Captain sitting on his bed, head down, as Black Widow kneels in front of him and asks, “Tell me what to do to help,” to which the Captain replies in a strained voice, “I don’t know.”

Scarlet Witch in the snow, surrounded by the debris of the exploded laboratory, and then the Winter Soldier lifting her into his arms as she tucks her face into his chest, her entire body shaking.

Falcon pressing a kiss to Agent 13′s hair as she closes her eyes, his voice playing over the scene: “So how do we do this?”

Then Falcon and Agent 13 startling as someone enters the room, Iron Man emerging from the doorway with his arm in a sling and a bruise on his cheek. A quick cut to Agent 13 crying as she throws her arms around Iron Man, his voice playing over the scene: “We start with my least favorite thing to do.”

Cut to black, with Iron Man finishing his dialogue: “We ask for help.”

Then a close-up shot of purple light passing over someone’s skin and dissolving into a black, textured material as it spreads. This figure turns around, revealing a complete shot of his high-tech, full-bodied, cat-like suit; then he glances up at the ceiling as another figure -- slighter and smaller in stature, in a blue-and-red suit with a spider across his chest -- repels from the ceiling, landing on his feet.

Best. Teaser. EVER.

And with Marvelous not returning until December, it’ a good thing that we Marvels know how to keep ourselves busy. Bring on the theories!

When we were kids, we gorged on candy for Halloween. Now, we gorge on spoilers!

(But candy would still be appreciated.)

This morning, the Marvelous official Twitter announced that they had a little something special for us Marvels on the show’s official site, and they did not disappoint! Not only were we treated to on-set photos -- confirmed to have been from the start of filming back in August -- but we were also given the official synopses of the first three episodes!

Bonus: none of scenes shown seem to be related to the scenes teased in the trailer.

As the Captain (Steve Rogers) struggles to deal with Black Widow’s (Natasha Romanoff) memories being lost, Agent Hill (Maria Hill) tries to pick up the pieces of the Team’s latest fallout, especially as Thor (Thor Odinson) starts to spiral without his powers and Hawkeye (Clint Barton) remains in a coma. Meanwhile, the Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes) and Falcon (Sam Wilson) fear that their time to rescue Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff) may be running out.

THE DARKEST NIGHT - Season 4, Episode 2

Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff) realizes that her powers are fluctuating due to the experiments performed by her still-unnamed abductor (guest star Edwin Jarvis), which she fears will have catastrophic side effects. Elsewhere, as extraterrestrial weapons continue to move between counties, Agent 13 (Sharon Carter) urges the Team to take action. Realizing the distress she’s causing the Captain (Steve Rogers), Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) asks him to help jog her memories.

BEFORE DAWN - Season 4, Episode 3

With the Captain (Steve Rogers) opening up to her and the Team reunited once more, Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) starts to get flashes of what she believes are her lost memories, though she hesitates to tell anyone. Meanwhile, the return of the Director (writer/producer, guest star Nick Fury) gives Agent Hill (Maria Hill) a new push to rally and regroup, while the arrival of Black Panther (T’challa T’chaka) and Spider-Man (Peter Parker) gives the Team the motivation to move forward.

While we now have a little insight on what to expect from the start of the season, we’re still wondering about those wedding photos posted by the cast back in August. Is it a dream? An illusion? A flash-forward?

AE! Exclusive: Spoilers Straight from the Cast of ‘Marvelous’

SPOILER ALERT! This post contains plot details from the season premiere of Marvelous.

(If any of you Marvels successfully resisted the urge to continue reading, know that we are incredibly impressed.)

That’s right, Marvels. With the Season 4 premiere just a month away, Access Entertainment! received an exclusive invitation to visit the set. And while we were there, we sat down with some of the cast and crew to squeeze out juicy details on what to expect from the upcoming premiere.

Ready for the spoilers? Yeah, neither were we.

1. The premiere will center around the theme of dreams, and Steve Rogers (playing the Captain) shares that the entire episode should be an emotional roller-coaster. Ready your tissues, Marvels.

STEVE ROGERS: There’s a very blurred line between dreams and nightmares and that’s something the premiere really plays on. We shot two or three, sometimes even four versions of the same dream scenes that were so tonally different from each other. There are really low points but there are really high points, too, and it’s just one of those things you know will have that punch and then keep on punching.

ACCESS ENTERTAINMENT: And we’re guessing one of the Captain’s dreams must involve Natasha [Romanoff, playing Black Widow] in that gorgeous wedding dress all over Instagram?

ROGERS: [laughs] That was actually the very first scene we shot of the season. We read the script together, so we knew it was coming, just not when. But it’s the first day, and we’re all in tuxes and gowns and they’ve got us in this beautiful church set. And I didn’t even see Nat in her dress until we started filming. Nick [Fury, the show’s writer/producer] still won’t admit it but I’m sure that was intentional.

ACCESS ENTERTAINMENT: How romantic!

ROGERS: Yeah, don’t let the guy fool you. He’s just a big softie.

2. We’ll pick up right where the finale left off. Which means throwing salt onto all those wounds that still haven’t healed; their wounds AND ours.

SHARON CARTER [playing Agent 13]: You can watch the finale and then the premiere back-to-back and it’ll sort of be one extended episode. That’s the idea. We put these characters through every circle of hell and back and we don’t want to just jump forward and make you fill in the gaps. We take you with us every step of their emotional journey like we always have, and I can’t share anything, of course, but it doesn’t take long for them to start bouncing back. It’s sort of our way of saying, ‘Hey, we broke your hearts and made you wait half a year because we suck but now you’ll reap the rewards.’

3. After watching an entire season of our heroes falling apart, we can look forward to them coming back together stronger than ever. It’s no secret that watching episode after episode of our heroes fighting among each other was heartbreaking. But Wanda [Maximoff, playing Scarlet Witch] dished that this won’t be the case for the upcoming season.

WANDA MAXIMOFF: You won’t have to worry about us being at each other’s throats nearly as much anymore. When you hit rock bottom, there’s nowhere to go but up!

ACCESS ENTERTAINMENT: Thank goodness!

MAXIMOFF: I know! [laughs] It’s always fun to play those kinds of scenes, you know? They’re very raw and real, and it’s cathartic but in a very safe way to channel all your emotions and let them out. But it’s still draining. We were all so tired from “fighting” with each other by the time we wrapped. We looked forward to having a little fun again and Nick absolutely gave us that

ACCESS ENTERTAINMENT: So we can expect a lot more smiles this season? Maybe even a few laughs?

MAXIMOFF: Absolutely! The first few episodes will deal with the aftermath of the finale, of course. You don’t just sweep that under the rug. But everyone has suffered so much individually, this season you’ll see them lean on each other to heal. At the core, they have a bond you can’t really fit into one type of mold and it’ll be what helps them turn things around.

4. This season will explore the dynamics between our characters in ways we thought we could only dream of. Which means, yes, Marvels. They are in fact listening.

MAXIMOFF: You’ll see characters share scenes together that didn’t have much interaction outside of the group before, and you’ll see relationships in new lights. Iron Man [played by Tony Stark] and Quicksilver [played by Pietro Maximoff] got off to a rocky start, and they’re in a civil place now, but you’ll see them develop a genuine friendship. Iron Man will really pull through for Quicksilver and that finally gives them some common ground. Agent Hill [played by Maria Hill] and Thor [played by Thor Odinson] have always butt heads here or there because they’re just so different. They’re almost the last duo you’d expect to come together and that’s the beauty of it. They end up leaning on each other and it’s beautiful. All of these odd, new dynamics will get their own spotlights and it’s so much fun.

There’s even some role reversal in key relationships. Like with Hawkeye [played by Clint Barton]. He was an important mentor to Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, and now with his condition he’ll turn to them for guidance. And with Black Widow, she really built up Scarlet Witch and helped her become confident in her abilities and now Scarlet Witch will get to return the favor. She’ll be there to help Black Widow get back on her feet. She becomes Black Widow’s biggest confidant, and that will be such a strong thing for Scarlet Witch, who is in a dark place at the start of the season. These more intimate moments - they’ve been my favorite to film so far.

5. Newcomers Black Panther (played by T’challa T’chaka) and Spider-Man (played by Peter Parker) won’t take long to join the fray. We learned that we won’t be seeing them in the premiere, but at least we won’t have to wait much longer! It’s confirmed that Black Panther and Spider-Man will make their debuts before the end of the second episode.

T’CHALLA T’CHAKA: I was surprised to learn during the table read that Nick wasted no time introducing us. He had us involved from the very first day of filming, even though Peter and I would traditionally not have been called to the set just yet. We were very much included between takes. You would think coming onto a show of this magnitude, joining a cast so established - that would be an intimidating thing, you’d think. But as soon as I got the part everyone reached out to me on their own. We talked, not always about the show. I felt a fast connection. So when Peter and I were watching that first scene being filmed, when Natasha and Steve recited those vows, we were hit just as hard as everyone else. I choked up. I don’t mind sharing that, I’m not heartless. [laughs]

6. There’s a very good chance that every (well, ALMOST every) character that has crossed our heroes’ paths will make a reappearance before the end of the season. At least, it seems that way.

SAM WILSON [playing Falcon]: I’m just making guesses here, but with the way these last three months have gone, it’s probably a good guess. I think we’re somewhere between episodes nine and ten right now and we’ve already brought so many faces back. Sometimes we’ll walk onto a set or get rewrites, and we’ve brought back someone we thought had been written off definitively, and in these cool twists you won’t expect.

ACCESS ENTERTAINMENT: Any names you can hint at?

WILSON: Nah! No, don’t get me in trouble. [laughs] I can’t even hint at anything, but - trust me, it’ll be good. Fans will be excited to revisit these characters and see these shout-outs to old subplots. Some of it will be tying up loose ends, some of it’s just plain fun. Nick’s even got plans to have every guest director come back for an episode if scheduling works out. Don’t worry, I was allowed to share that. I asked. But Peggy [Carter] is already coming back for the mid-season finale and I think they’ve talked about her having a bigger hand in the second half of the season.

ACCESS ENTERTAINMENT: Oh, that’s exactly what we wanted to hear. She’s been involved in those episodes that make me swoon every time!

WILSON: Yeah, she knows how to tug on those heart-strings. She and Nick sat down, I think it was the middle of Season 2. But she and Nick sat us all down and we went around and said where we thought our characters would be in a few seasons and what we wanted for them. And it was all domestic. [laughs] No matter how crazy the world is, those same basic dreams are at our core, you know? And those are Peggy’s favorite stories to tell. Old romantics will be very happy with the intimate moments we fit into these episodes. It’ll be good. Real good.

7. Speaking of intimate: “It’s a very romantic season,” Bucky [Barnes, playing the Winter Soldier] shares. Cue squeals!

BARNES: Obviously the tone of the series will still be there, we don’t deviate into some kind of romantic drama. But you’ve seen the highs and lows of all these relationships, you’ve seen these characters go through so much and now they’ve earned this happiness. It’s a big turning point for our favorite couples, and rather than “will they, won’t they” you get to see them as a unit. That’s kind of the theme of this whole season, “us against the world,” whether it’s couples or friendships or the Team. It’s a great message.

ACCESS ENTERTAINMENT: Can you give us any hints?

BARNES: I wish I could, I really do. We just - we’re all having such a hard time biting our tongues. Each script is better and better and we want to share that with everyone, we want them to be excited with us. But I promise you, if you’ve sat through the last three years with your fingers crossed it’ll pay off. We almost jump the gun in a sense, because it goes from this slow burn to just diving head-first and it’s so satisfying. Even for myself, as a fan of this story and these characters, I see how far everything has come and I just get all tingly. [laughs] It’s great.

Well, there you have it!

It seems like this season will be the most emotional one yet, and luckily for us it sounds like it won’t be of the heart-breaking variety. Hopefully.

FAQ

In General

Do you take requests? My guy, without requests, this blog will go dry very quickly. We are high maintenance and require a lot of attention.

Will you write all requests that you receive? We reserve the right not to write a request if we don’t vibe with it. We will explain why we won’t, and whining won’t change our minds. Otherwise we will do our absolute best to see that all requests get written.

What if I don’t like something in your fics? If you see something wrong in our fics, feel free to let us know politely. If you are rude, we will make a note of what annoyed you and we will feature it prominently in our following fics until you (or someone nicer than you) asks nicely for us to change it. If it is a trigger we won’t do that, obviously, but we will do our best to tag so that doesn’t happen. Don’t read things if they have a trigger warning for something that triggers you. I shouldn’t have to say it, yet here we are. If you dislike the characterization, we can open up a dialogue and maybe we’ll write you one with a characterization that you prefer. Or maybe we’ll tell you to shove it. Depends on how things go. If you dislike the things we write about (e.g. Death Eaters from Harry Potter), then don’t f***ing read that fic. Blacklist it, whatever. We know why and how they are problematic, we just dgaf. It’s for fun.

Why don’t you have a masterlist/other Tumblr things? We are new to this whole writing thing, Midnight to Tumblr in general, and Serpentine has never written her own post before, so be patient. We are learning this whole thing as we go, and it was meant as more of an experiment than a job anyway. We will do our best to make a masterlist and make the blog easy to search, but it has a learning curve, so don’t be surprised if we don’t manage right away (or ever)

Do you have a tag list? We could try?

How often do you update? Depends on how much love and attention we get. If we get a lot of requests, we’ll be doing a lot of writing, Real Life™ allowing.

Can I reblog? If you make sure our names are still on it, you do what you like, my guy.

Can I tag you in things? Can I give you an internet hug? Ofc. Remember what I said about attention?

Can I message you? If it is for requests, we’d prefer you keep it in the asks, but if you wanna say something, then sure. Keep it PG for Serpentine’s virgin eyes tho. (Serpentine can deal with it, don’t be a wuss - Midnight) (You’re a wanker - Serpentine)

What don’t you write? Incest, non-con, A/B/O (bc Midnight will die), m-preg, underage anything ever, etc. Just keep it level guys. Don’t make it weird.

What happens with any original fiction that you post? I won’t post much of it, and it won’t be anything that I ever have intentions on making into A Thing™ so it’s basically just like our fanfics, go ahead and reblog if you feel just keep our names attached. Also, try not to write anything based off of it or anything like that, but if it sparks something, you do you. We’re reasonably chill until you’re a dick. (Then we’re chillier than a frost giant’s cold shoulder - Midnight)

What happens if I want to be a prick about your writing while on anon? Come at me, bro.

What types of requests do you take? We’re going to try to have a prompts list, or borrow some from fellow writing accounts that are okay with others using their lists, but prompts that you come up with are definitely great! POV & Other Characters: These can be OC or reader, platonic and romantic or unpaired accepted. For Harry Potter, I can also write them as Hermione Granger (like most HP fics are tbh). As for other characters, it’s all negotiable, but with Harry Potter fandom Slytherin characters are much more likely to get the OK bc I’m House biased (Go Snakes). The ones marked as couples are only written as couples, so don’t try to make me pair dear James Potter with anyone other than his Lily.

How long does it take to write a request: If I’m inspired, maybe an hour or two. Now when I post it...

Open to ask memes: Absolutely the hell yes. I love talking about myself.

Special Rules: I do not write smut (yet, bc I am innocent in the ways of the flesh), but I will yeet those to Midnight and I’ll do my best to take any other requests and if y’all wanna drop nasty imagines into the ask box or something, we’re all ears (eyes?). How long does it take to write a request: Depends on how busy I am, the alignment of the stars, the weather… jk, in truth, I can be very busy and also have to manage my own health so it can be from a half hour (if I’m really inspired) to up to a week or two. Learnset # 3 | Thor Would Like to Learn a New Move!

“Thoooor, c’mon let’s go home already. You promised!” After a long day of them exploring the city, Glitch was tired out, not that he could blame her, he could feel a bit of exhaustion beginning to settle in his bones also as he walked. There’s an insistent tugging at his ears that the bigger mouse has grown far too used to, so he doesn’t pay it any mind, not even when its followed by a harsh nip and impatient jolt of electricity that does nothing more than send a ticklish tingle through his system. He does nothing more than twitch a little before wiggling his ears a bit playfully, which causes Glitch, who currently had her teeth sunk into his left appendage to giggle.

“I know, I know kiddo. Just gimme a second,” he murmurs, front paws and nose pressed firmly to the cool glass of the window he leaned against while his eyes were glued to the television screen sitting in the window. The door was wide open to allow customers to enter, thus allowing his heightened senses to pick up the sounds from the TV. There was a battle between two humans going on, and normally he wouldn’t give the fight much thought, but one of the humans had a Raichu, so of course, he had stopped, obviously wanting to see how that played out. Even Glitch had stopped nibbling at his ear for a moment to watch the fight, entranced at the battle.

“Raichu, Reflect!”

With the sun having already set and the sky beginning to darken, the duo finally made it home after an eventful day spent in the city. The second Thor enters the den, Glitch jumps down from her perch in between his ears with a laugh and darts straight to their nest, running around in a tight circle a few times before falling back on the pile of leaves with an audible thwump. Thor watches the Pichu with a fond look in his eye as he pads over, grabbing a few berries from their stockpile along the way. Once situated on their bed, he drops the fruit in front of Glitch and settles down on his stomach, reaching out with an arm to pull the smaller mouse close in between his forepaws so he could proceed to bathe her while she ate.

They work in comforting silence, with Glitch pushing the remainder of her berry into his mouth while he’s in the middle of finishing cleaning up her face. He chuckles before chewing and swallowing the piece of fruit, while she giggles playfully. He nuzzles at her chin and presses his yellow cheek sac against her pink one. The two electric rodents trade warm affectionate sparks before pulling away. Glitch then leans back, tucking herself right in between the space where Thor’s head meets his neck, it’s her second favorite spot to sleep after Thor’s belly. He shifts his arm a bit closer so he could rest his head on the brown tipped appendages, and the movement shifts his child a little from her space tucked away in his shoulder, but it doesn’t bother her, rather she settles even more deeply against the taller, beginning to drift off to sleep with a wide yawn.

“Mnya, gnight Thor~”

“Night Glitch.” It doesn’t take long for the Pichu’s breathes to even out and eventually slow, indicating her deep sleep. Thor isn’t too far behind her, though his mind can’t help but think back to the match they watched from earlier. After the trainer’s Raichu had used Reflect against their opponent and successfully blocked the attack, she suddenly called the mouse back.

Disappointed by the sudden disappearance of their biased Pokémon, Glitch began groaning about leaving again, and Thor couldn’t help but agree. There was no point in sticking around if the Raichu wasn’t gonna be there, so as he lowered himself back on all fours about to walk away, he hears the trainer suddenly call out an unfamiliar move that has his ears lifting and his attention focused on the screen window with an interested gaze.

The scene replays over and over in his head.

“Electrode Magnet Rise!” Thor watches as thin bolts immediately begin to form around the electric type steadily beginning to lift the owner slightly off the ground. Electrode, moments later then pushes its energy out even further, destroying bits of the field around it which then also begin to float in the air. He listened how the trainer explains that they use this move as a counter to ground types, therefore negating its only weakness.

After that, the fight was practically over before it began, with Electrode obliterating its opponent with its speed and maneuverability. Once the match was over, and the woman with the Raichu and Electrode won, Thor finally decided to head back home, but he was in awe of that move. As the bigger Chu finally settles down and begins to drift off to sleep as well, there was only one thing on his mind.

Magnet Rise.

He wanted to learn it.

Trying to teach yourself a new move that you’ve only seen once and had no idea how it worked was the worst. Thor was having no luck with figuring out Magnet Rise, he didn’t even know where to begin, and none of the Pokémon that lived nearby could help, and aside from Elysia and her group and Izzy, Thor’s electric type connections around the forest was very limited.

As days went by without much progress Thor was just about ready give up, maybe learning Magnet Rise was simply not to be. He sighs somewhat dejectedly as he sits resting by the stream not too far from his den. Although it was another hot day and their den was much cooler, the Raichu had wanted a bit of fresh air and something to drink, but as he sat staring at his reflection he began thinking about his lack of progress towards learning this new move, which is why he’s just sitting by the water.

After a few moments of absolute silence he hears the faint sound of wings flapping in the distance, then a familiar squawking.

“Thor! Hey—Thor!” The rodent lifts his head off the ground and looks towards the noise, eyes squinting a bit as he sees the shadow of Fearow, one of his few non Chu esque friends that lived around here. The Beak Pokémon soon flies closer then softly lands a few feet from the other.

“Fearow? What are you doing here?” He blinks in confusion, having assumed the other would be tucked away in his nest today. He knew the avian didn’t really enjoy being out when it was hot, like most of the forest dwellers that lived around here, and didn’t leave his nest unless it was necessary.

“I found you a teacher!” Fearow's large wingspan expanded a bit as he stretched out his feathers excitedly while explaining. “You said you weren’t having much luck learning that new move, right?” The shorter of the pair nods slowly before realizing what his friend had said.

“W-Wait, you said you found me a teacher?”

“GREETINGS!” A garbled and mechanized cry reaches his ears, causing the rodent’s long appendages to twitch as he slowly deciphers what was being said. His gaze then shoots over to the Magneton hovering towards them, it raises one of its magnets in what Thor believes to be an impression of a wave.

“WE ARE MAGNETON!” It takes Thor a moment to understand the others speech, Magneton and its evolutions didn’t share the somewhat universal language he and many other Pokémon spoke, the magnets spoke in beeps and staticky sounds that mimicked their speech patterns.

“Uh, hi. I’m Thor,” he gives a small smile before he moves to sit up on his haunches and lift a paw in order to wave back politely.

“GREETINGS FRIEND THOR! FRIEND FEAROW SAYS YOU NEED HELP? LEARNING NEW MOVE?”

“Oh!” He stumbles a bit, not expecting Fearow to bring along another mon to help him learn the move. He looks a bit sheepish as he scratches at the side of his face absently with a paw. “Uh yeah, I’m trying to learn this attack called Magnet Rise, but I don’t know how.. to start?

“NOT TO WORRY! WE CAN TEACH YOU! VERY SIMPLE!”

Thor looks a bit skeptic, was it really that easy?

“WHEN WOULD YOU LIKE TO BEGIN?”

“Uhm... could we start--like, now?”

“AFFIRMATIVE! BEGINNING TRAINING SESSION!”

The sound of static crackling fills the cool afternoon air as Thor’s frame is covered in thin bolts of electricity, which then shoots towards the two small objects he was told to try and make float. The sparks of electricity merely bounce all over the stone and leaf before fizzling out and dispersing into the air.

Thor lets out a groan as his move once again, fails.

That’s the fifth time today.

It was not as simple as Magneton said.

“FOCUS THOR!” Says Magneton from his spot hovering a few feet away. “REMEMBER OUR SUGGESTIONS!”

Right, it had been weeks since they first started training. Several long frustrating weeks of Thor trying and failing to lift even the tiniest and lightest of objects with his electromagnetism. The good news is, he’s no longer putting out too much energy and accidentally burning up the fallen leaves and exploding pebbles.

Magneton had explained to him that all electric type Pokémon naturally generated their own kind of magnetic fields and once able to tap into that field, one could learn to manipulate it and change how their electric currents interacted and reacted to the environment around them.

He’d managed to locate his magnetic fields, the electric currents around it had felt different than the usual energy he put out. Where his natural electrical energies were strong and had somewhat of a sharp sizzling feel to it, his magnetic energies almost felt light and airy, and cool. Now after finding them and being able to tell the difference between the two energies, it was simply a matter of manipulating it for his own personal means.

That’s where the leaves and stones came in. The objects were small enough that their magnetic fields are easier to manipulate and levitate for practice. As Magneton’s words to focus and concentrate echo in his head, the orange rodent shakes his head and tries again, releasing another set of thin sparks.

As the electricity travels and jumps along the stone and leaf, he takes a deep breath and concentrates, pushing out his own energies to connect with the two objects. As he’s focusing and probing, he suddenly feels something. Eye ridges furrowing Thor chases that odd sensation and latches onto it. Then, like a lock clicking into place, the Raichu feels his energy shift.

The crackling sound released from his sparks grows louder and begin to jump sporadically around the pair of items. Thor’s eyes grow wide as he gasps in amazement when the rock and leaf start to raise slightly off the ground. They hover for several seconds then fall back to the floor, barely any indication that they’d been moved.

But, both Thor and Magneton saw it.

Thor was vibrating with excitement, a wide smile split across his face while turning to face Magneton.

“Hah...aha! HA! I did it!” With a loud whoop, he leaps into the air arms extended. “WHOO! I DID IT!”

After finally being able to lift the stone once, Magneton had Thor immediately try again. His second time was a bit shakier than the first, he managed to lift the leaf and rock, but not for as long as the first time. Magneton says that while this is great progress he still needed to practice and learn to focus more.

He’s got the basics down but now he needed to improve on that and still work on trying to make small objects levitate before trying to lift himself or anything else, as Thor had immediately asked if he could do exactly that some time after he’d finally lifted the leaf and stone.

A few more days of training sessions pass, with Thor gradually getting the hang of using Magnet Rise. He’s been lifting up small pebbles and juggling them for fun as practice. With the goal being to make sure the stones never hit the ground. It’s during that time that Magneton decides it's time for him to leave.

“Hey wait!”

Concentration now broken, the small pebbles that had been hovering around Thor soon fell to the ground, but the mouse paid no mind to that, instead approaching his new electric friend who’d proven to be a great teacher. “You’re leaving already?” He knew Magneton would eventually have to leave, but the mouse had grown kind of attached to the metal mon.

“WE MUST GO!” The magnets beep, bouncing a bit in the air with a slight buzz. Thor has learned during their spent time together that certain noises Magneton made was an indicator of an emotion, like the soft buzzing sound meant they were happy. “TASK ACCOMPLISHED! NEW MOVE ACQUIRED!”

Thor lets out a thoughtful hum, expression falling momentarily before he nods a bit. He supposed Magneton had a point, they had only come here with Fearow to help him learn a new move and nothing more, for all the mouse knew, Magneton might have family waiting for them wherever it was they’d come from. It wasn’t right of him to be selfish and ask the other to stick around any more considering they’d already spent so much time together already.

“DO NOT WORRY FRIEND THOR! WE WILL VISIT AGAIN! TAKE CARE!”

He couldn’t help but smile and clench his paws into determined fists. Right, this was only goodbye for now. That’s not to say he’d never be able to see Magneton again, there was always next time.

“Bye Magneton! Thanks for everything!” He waves the steel type off as they float away into the distance. Thor then turns back towards the fallen rocks he was messing with and sends out a thin trail of sparks to surround them. The stones lift high in the air above the mouse as he watches from below with a satisfied grin.

If he worked even harder, soon he’ll be able to lift himself, and maybe even the field around him as well.

Just like Electrode!

And maybe, someday he’d be able to float even longer in the air without even thinking about it. All of these ideas were nothing but future obstacles he’d have to overcome.

Man he couldn’t wait...
