what if GemCYT had a side rebel group?
I’ve been following the GemCYT au for a while now, and I love it. The designs are amazing, and the story is great. I saw a really cool idea by @snowydragon10 that basically said, “Yo, but what if DanTDM (who is Blue Diamond in the au by general consensus I guess??) ALSO rebelled, but instead of just faking his death and leaving like Lizzy (Pink Diamond) did, he was a double agent/mole of sorts. I’ve watched this goggle-wearing goof for about 4-6 years now, so I figured I’d expand a lot on this idea. I combined both possibilities they mentioned in a post.
For starters, Blue/Dan didn’t become a good guy right away. It took quite a bit of convincing. There were two main things that led him to earth in the first place. Firstly, after the Corrupting Light/Diamond Blast attack, some foresight from one of his sapphires suggested Pink was still alive. Second, he’s the diamond that mainly focuses on technology and science. Several reports showed outbreaks of corruption in gems, and most of those planets were very close to earth. Believing earth was the main harbor of the corruption, grieving for his lost sister, and holding out on blind hope, he went down to earth alone in the form of a Larimar, a Lapis’s ice equivalent. He stumbled across the rebels who offered him protection, training, and hospitality in exchange to help these poor dystopian gems thrive and fight against the Diamond authority. He eventually became a rebel because he had a lot of things to disagree with when it came to white Diamond and how things were handled.
The team on Dan’s side so far consist of him as a Larimar, Justin/Thinknoodles as his pearl, a perfect lapis cut who dubbed himself IBallisticSquid due to the use of floating water tentacles, and ThxCya aka James, a mercenary against the corrupt gems who is a half-human, half- emerald himself. (Like Steven but way less OP and less MC energy.).
The difference between Dan and Lizzys squads? Lizzys is much bigger, and both sides would live in different parts of the world entirely. Like snowy dragon said, two diamonds at once would cause a power imbalance. One team would be taking care of some arcs shown in SU, the other will deal with other arcs. (EX: Lizzys group/empires n stuff would have the sword training arc, Dan’s and other ogs would have the Human Zoo arc.)
Anyways enough rambling, here’s their basic designs that are subject to change because I’m indecisive. God I hope it actually comes up for everyone else actually visible.

5. What’s a fic idea you’ve had that you will never write?
Like. So many? I had a bunch of ideas in the Fallout fandom that I never started, or wrote like three pages and gave up on. (which was for the best RPGs don't lend itself well to long-form fics, but still) There's all my different spins on separated AUs for TMNT, alts for doth and whatnot. And then there was the Rise/2012 crossover idea I was playing with before I started on doth-some of which did get incorporated into doth in the end, so elements of it are there.
Oh, before I started watching Rise I was playing around with a Steven Universe fanfic. I actually wrote some of it out but I never really intended to publish it. The basis was a human AU where Garnet had been a detective investigating the Diamond crime empire and had returned home to her moms in Beach City after a traumatic encounter with Blue Diamond that caused her to be retired. Pearl proposes a marriage of convenience so they could adopt Amethyst and Steven no fuss. Greg was in jail (Marty was doing fraud or something and it was all his fault) and his parents were seeking custody of Steven-Rose had died giving birth, and while he always considered Garnet and Pearl his coparents he never married either of them and they weren't Steven's legal mothers. Amethyst was Pearl's half-sister through their mother Opal, and was trying to legally adopt her since her other half-sister Jasper was trying to get custody of her. (the Famethyst all had the same dad who showed up to Beach City one day, fathered a bazillion daughters, and partied until he quite literally dropped dead) There was a whole thing with Garnet beating up Jasper in high school and Jasper being in love with her from that day on.
Eventually there would be the whole reveal with Rose having been Pink Diamond, the youngest daughter in the Diamond syndicate, and it would be uncovered that Greg being framed was orchestrated by White Diamond in an attempt to swoop in and legally gain custody of her grandson in a swift and sure manner-she could just have Steven kidnapped and produce fake documents for him, quite easily, but in a rare caring moment she actually wanted to make this as untraumatic as possible for Steven. (besides, she could play the savior later on by 'pulling some strings' and getting Greg out of prison) Eventually Yellow Diamond would have gotten impatient, kidnapped Steven, and forcefully recruited Garnet to her own empire, having been extremely impressed with her during her conflict with Blue.
And I have no idea how it ends, because then I started watching Rise and lost the SU hyperfixation. :D

What if instead of a cat's eye SU AU Skid's Dad was disguised as a star Sapphire to keep the eye motif. He'd probably be significantly taller then the average Sapphire (which he could pass off with either fake limb enhancers or just say it's a defect because I could see him wanting to not be suspected as a diamond, being defective would be the way to go), but I like the idea of him having the hair covering eye Sapphire thing to mimic the fact that his face is never shown- idk if he'd have 1 of 2 eyes though, perhaps he'd have a gem for an eye like eyeball

For a Takua Universe/Nuva Gems AU, who would you nominate to be the diamonds? So far I’d pick Teridax as Black Diamond, Sidorak as Red Diamond and Takanuva as Golden Diamond (who becomes Black Aventurine after faking his own shattering). I’d like to think that Roodaka would be a Blue Jasper
Seconding Teridax as Black, and Takanuva as gold I’d put Karzanhi and Artakha in place of Sidorak, but then they’d both be Green diamonds (sorta works given they’re brothers? Maybe one’s an Aurora green and the other Dresden Green?)
Jaspers are a solid choice for bigger characters like Roodaka but I found these ones that could work too.
Black Rutile Quartz, mostly for the name being vaguely similar and the kind of spidery pattern reflecting Roodaka’s status as visorak queen as well as her general MO of manipulation and traps. The fact that its known for its black “impurities” could represent her shadow powers, or even her mutation ability. Being a quartz, this would cast her as a warrior or soldier, though I would make her a high profile leader known more for strategy than brute force.
Spiderweb Obsidian could give you a bit more flexibility lore wise for Roodaka’s backstory, if you didn’t want her to be military. In the show, Obsidian is a fusion, but we also briefly meet the non-fusion Snowflake Obsidian, who is a tall, heavy set black gem who might fit with the Vortixx species. Snowflake was a laborer, but we don’t know what other kinds of obsidian may have done on Homeworld.
Finally there’s Hypersthene and Hematite, which both have a pretty black-silvery look and no established SU lore which gives a lot of flexibility, like if you wanted Roodaka to be some kind of aristocratic gem, scientist or scholar.

steven as a diamond au: the diamonds get connie as Steven's """"pet"""" (ugh) and steven acts like a typical FuckBoy tm, with the "ur mine" bullshit. but as soon as the diamonds leave, the face drops, the diamond eyes disappear, and steven apologizes profusely. he ushers her onto a newly built leg ship, asking where she lives. he's frantic, apologizing for the diamonds behavior, cursing them under his breathe, apologizing for HIS behavior as a creepy Guy tm (he saw the look of fear on her face, he feels sick and on the verge of tears, but he'd suppress that lmfaooo)
connie is Very confused at first. she basically just got there, and this scary ass dude with a sharp grin suddenly looks like a kicked puppy. like a teenager. She's rightfully angry and scared, and steven asks again where's she lives so he can return her home.
she thinks it's a trick. and steven says it's fine, he pretends not to be hurt by that. He doesn't want to just drop her off anywhere, so he explains that he never wanted the Diamonds to abduct humans. He always returned the humans, framed it on himself about letting them die or "losing" them, would get a slap on the wrist, and the cycle would continue.
"I'm from Earth." he would say, looking straight ahead. Refusing to look at her. "I keep telling them that they shouldnt...you know." he would grimace. "But they don't listen. I keep trying to make it seem like I'm not responsible enough, to "keep" humans. But Blue wants to reward me for being a proper diamond or something. And since she knows I miss Earth, well..." he'd trail off.
Connie would still be distrustful. of course she would! even if he looks soft, she wouldn't know anything abt this dude except his name is Pink. So she doesn't say anything.
and steven would know he had power over her in this situation, and while that made him feel sick, he'd try and ignore it (again)
Here, Steven would have been taken very young! But Steven has a good father, and he instilled kindness and compassion onto him. And that's ones of steven's core traits too. He knew the Diamonds were cruel to others. Steven wouldn't be as kind, or as compassionate, but it'd still be there. In a way, he'd be different from Rose because he'd know that he had power over others. Not the extent of it, ofc, but still.
"My name's Steven." he'd say suddenly. "It's what my dad named me. I...I forgot his name, though."
When he was abducted, he was young enough to just know him as "Dad." He knew it started with a G, but the memory would be fuzzy. He spent hours trying to remember the kind man who smelled like the sea and grilled hot dogs, but to no avail.
When they'd near Earth, Steven would ask again where she lived.
Connie would be nervous. She felt bad for the guy, sure, but she didn't trust him. Steven was a human name, sure, but she'd be a bunch of nerves. He didn't look completely human. An he still hadn't asked for her name.
"Beach City." she would say timidly. It wasn't where she lived, but it was close enough.
Steven would freeze, then blink. It would have sounded familiar.
"Okay." he would say. "Beach City."
When they got there, Connie would bolt off. No goodbye, no thank you, just running away.
Steven would take a long look at Beach City, trying to remember. But he couldn't. Before anyone could stop him, he'd jump off into space.
In the distance, Greg Universe would wonder about the giant legs parked on the beach. He would shake his head, and let the gems take care of it.

Your ex husband was bitter about your success even before you got married. He thought as a woman, you just did bare minimum and got yourself a high positioned rank by sleeping with one of the rich rags. You tried hard enough to hold on to that rotten red string , but he had the scissors and just cut you off. You weren't willing to sacrifice your career just because of his Immature mindset, yes you loved him, but can't a women love her own hard achieved success more? That's the question you wished to ask everyone who pointed there fingers at you. After divorce you didn't feel pain just numbness. Your self-hatred coming more stronger than ever, even hating the job, you tried Saving since years, getting life on track seemed impossible and at the end just quitted. Moved out of the city just to move back to your home town, the root of your real pain. It wasn't really a town but rather a more flashy city, expensive shits which you were unable to afford in childhood but now it wasn't any big deal. Earth is round and sometimes precious people find you all by themselves. Your highschool friend, the only friend you had throughout your lifetime because of your anti social tactics.
Bang Chan, the social butterfly who almost knew every single student in whole school, he was the hottest guy you ever saw in your life and also the kindest. You had crush on him even before you both were friends, he was your senior,used to help you with those shitty math sums, crack jokes every now and then and scolded you whenever you procrastinated. He came to congratulate you even on your graduation day, even though there were many more students whom he met you were still glad atleast someone bought you a beautiful bouquet of tulips and bellflower. The last time you saw him was before you moved out in search of cheap collages without informing him, as you thought you were just one of many friends he had and won't ever notice someone like you existed.
But god, how much wrong you were.
You met Chan after almost 9 years in convince store and his reaction was almost priceless , like finding treasure. He was now more handsome, beautiful and god-like even after all this years his style of dressing didn't Changed much, he still looked like Kim Kardashian at 2021 met Gala. nevertheless his smile still had those healing properties with his Cresent moon eyes. He was absolutely stunning.
The first sentence he spoke after confirming your identity was 'I missed you' and then tons of lectures and questions . Knowing how narrow-minded you were he gasped dramatically. Cheesiest ways of saying how could I forget my best friend and so on. That day was probably the best day of your life and maybe even the day after years you really smiled. You both exchanged numbers and addresses and his home was just 10 minutes away from yours. Destiny indeed.
Now it's been over 7 months since you met Chan again and he never made you felt like you were just one of his 109 friends. Chan made you feel special, after knowing what kind of disaster you faced he was even more supporting of you, you both used to spend weekend together watching variety of shows and movies going to stargazing, best friend goals. After many years you knew even if Chan had many people to confide with he never really did. He was alone, just a night owl obsessed with work. You were happy. And he was happy too. Being just friends was enough for you, but not for him . He was slowly trying to find courage to confess his love to you. He liked you fuck from highschool days. He found you once randomly staring at him across the room and when you suddenly disappeared all his fantasies were scattered, he knew your dreams and was willing to help you with your every step. knowing how messed up your household was from your neighbours he felt guilty for not being able to give you happiness. He loved you, but was helded by his own insecurities.
Not anymore though, he wasn't the same coward who just stared at the love of his life from distance. Being the extra human he was, he bought you one of the most expensive restaurant of the whole country, man was loaded. After driving for almost 5 hours you both finally reached there .
Now a nervous Chan sitting infront of you. You being oblivious to the fact that he has a beautiful diamond ring and a confession to make. Chan handed you the menu card and every single dish had an extraordinary name, without much thought you placed the order.
"atleast tell me now, why are we here?" You asked the man infront of you who was behaving extra weird today, he looked sick and was occassionally asking you random questions.
"No reason, I was in mood for long drives and... You know have a nice meal" Chan said fidgeting with his fingers he was acting like a flustered high school guy it was clearly indicating that he was lying but you didn't really care, Chan was weird sometimes.
"Sounds fake, but okay. By the way you aren't sick right?" You asked Chan out of pure concern as he was sweating profusely even in an cold AC room.
"I am fine, just feeling a little hot. Don't worry", Chan said it was more like he was convincing himself that he was fine and shouldn't worry. He wasn't a teenager but a human with responsibilities who once again fell for someone out of his league, he used to think that and he still sees you as a literal goddess. While he was lost deep in his thoughts, the waiter came with food , and this was his opportunity to shoot his arrow. You both started eating and talked like being in paradise.
"did you liked anyone in highschool?", Chan asked you out of blue making you almost choke on food. The only person whom you liked throughout your highschool days was the guy sitting infront of you and you didn't really remembered much guys and the best answer was probably saying a lie with little truth.
"no one lol", you answered trying to sound chilled but since highschool crush topic was out you weren't able to keep your curiosity with yourself.
"What about you, liked someone?", You asked trying to sound nonchalant and not desperate and bitter.
This was the Exactly the conversation that Chan planned in his mind. And here started his way to either heaven or pit of rejection.
"I loved someone", Chan said and you this time you really choked from the depth of your heart, you thought Chan was anti romantic type of guy as he never talked about of his female friends with you or bragged about his non existent dating life. Trying again to not sound jealous or bitter you spoke again.
" Who was that lucky bit-- I mean girl yes girl? Who was she?", You asked, almost letting out the bitch loudly. You weren't sure but you saw Chan smiling cheekily, he was really getting old acting weird more and more everyday.
"Well... Someone from our school",Chan said and you swear you didn't made a disgusting face showing pure jealousy. The best human in your life and your first ever crush had crush on somebody, you didn't knew why you were feeling so fucking bitter but you weren't able to handle the curiosity anymore.
"Tell me her damn name", you asked Chan in a frustrating tone not being able to keep jealousy to yourself.
"Why you being angry", Chan asked followed by his small laugh.
"I am angry, just the food was a little spicy you answer me now, her name?", You answered Chan with your defenses up and still sticking with your previous question.
Chan in response got a little serious now,you thought he was being childish now, he wasn't a kid who was given a dare to name out his crush yet he was acting like one.
"You won't leave me right, I mean after I answer your question?", Chan asked you and you didn't knew what to say in response you were now a little sus about him.
"fine don't answer, keep secrets", you said and continued eating. The next thing Chan said made you now choke and die on food.
"I loved you and I still love you" Chan said looking down at the table head hanging down like his teenage self just confessed he watched porn infront of his parents. You were shocked, frozen and the your heartbeat 10x faster, you didn't knew how to react and tried to find humor in this extraordinary situation.
"Chan, you kidding right?", You asked Chan with a nervous smile on your face. Chan looked up at you , his eyes trying to find yours but you avoided the eye contact.
"I am serious, I liked you from HighSchool times, I saw you for the first time in library when you were looking at me, I swear you were so beautiful and even now after all this years after seeing you I can't, I can't help but fall for you all over again, sorry"
Chan confessed, his voice filled with sincerity and vulnerability his sentences were scattered here and there and incomplete explanation but still you understood everything he really poured his heart to you, you felt like crying even if you both weren't such stupid cowards back then, then today you won't have turned out a divorced women and Chan a guy who grew out lonely even if he had a world for him.
"What should I say Chan?", You asked Chan you were sounding like a girl whose bf told her to breakup even if the situation was exact opposite. Even if you love Chan , you didn't think about him reciprocating same feelings back to you. You were beyond insecure with your love emotions. One thing was sure you won't be able to love Chan without being a bundle on him. Your emotion Baggage was too big and you didn't want Chan to get his heart too with your stupid emotions.
"I love you and I will be really really good to you. Please try staying with me I will try really hard to earn space in your heart, please?" His confession was like literally begging. You weren't able to believe if he was real or not, if it was a dream that will end as soon as cruel morning comes, this felt like fantasy. Chan was a amazing man, he had everything money ,honour ,beauty a nice heart. He was like a character written by women so perfect so delicate yet strong, and he loves you this fact was enough for to lose your mind. but you thought you were a taint to his beauty, you were a character full of inferior complexes and a person too easy to dislike thats what illusion you made about yourself. A random extra in her own story.
"I will pay the bill, let's talk later", you said and walked away immediately to pay the bill leaving a clueless and disheartened human behind. Chan was able to see how you stopped yourself from saying love you too and throwing yourself in his arms. He wasn't same from HighSchool a guy who gets overwhelmed by his own emotions and gets unable to see others. He knew you had atleast a small space for him in your heart and to make a big room for himself he had to throw out all your insecurities and self hatred. He followed you like a lost puppy and he wanted to pay for food but you already did and now you were already out of restaurant searching for his car to get back.
Chan sitted beside you, without doing anything silence and awkward air surrounding you both.
"start the car", you said breaking down the silence, you were extremely worthless and trash as you made the only one person whom you love feel like nothing.
"Just answer me, will you try dating me please", Chan said his voice again passing draggers into your heart. Trying to form any logical explanation you spoke again.
"I am not looking for relationship right now, see Chan you are amazing, but I can't make you happy now and did you forgot that I am divorced, please understand" you said expressing your real insecurities and fear, fear of not being able to keep a man happy.
"you don't want relationship because you divorced that fucking trash of a man?", Chan asked he was getting frustrated you thought but he just wanted to make you happy and not deny what your heart wants.
"my mind isn't stable, I might just irritate you everytime with my mood, you will will get tired of me and leave me -- I don't want to be alone again I will die if you leave me", you confessed tears threatening to fall out of your eyes there wasn't any doubt that you loved Chan he filled the void in you in just months made you happy but you didn't wanted to just take and take and give nothing in return. Chan's hand found yours interlocking your fingers with so much delicateness that you might cry.
"you think so low of me, just stay by my side I will make you so happy that you will hardly get time to think about your past, trust me", Chan said his fingers slightly lifting your chin up to look into your eyes, you looked in his eyes filled with so much care and this was your last straw before breaking down in his arms.
"I love you, I love you so fuckin much, you were my first love my only friend, my everything, please-- please love me", you confessed tightening your arms around Chan, his scent making you feel safe and like home, his one caressing your hair and other wiping away the tears. Even though the scene was more like a dramatic clique scene whatever emotions you both felt was unexplainable.
"So you my girlfriend now hmm?"Chan asked you for first time in night his voice containing pure happiness and excitement.
"I have a sexy boyfriend", you said smiling from ear to ear against Chan's chest. The label boyfriend making your heart flutter, you didn't knew happiness like this can even exist.
"My love", Chan said his voice sweeter than honey, suddenly the night was more starry."now can we go home?" You asked Chan finally breaking the hug, reality hitted you now Home was 3- 4 hours away.
"I made a reservation in hotel, we gonna spend night there", Chan casually said making your heart jump out of your chest.
"pervert, you planned everything seriously", you said dramatically and giving him a playful digusting look.
"I booked two rooms", Chan said now starting the engine making you feel embarrassed. "Who is pervert now~" Chan said in air teasing you more.
The rest of the ride you both talked about anything and everything. Confessing how you used to find ways to always be in each others vision etc. Both of you finding a new thirsty side of each other. Nothing felt uncomfortable, it was happiness those inhumane laughs crazy tricks you both used to pull everything was heaven. After some time you both reached infront of a gaint hotel , it looked expensive af but regardless Chan knew how to waste money and you were tired of lecturing him about savings.
"let's go", Chan said removing your seatbelt and getting out of car to open the door for ya. He was being so cheesy gentleman and you were enjoying every minute.
"room 42 and 43" Chan said to the receptionist and she handed two keys to him. Thanking her then getting on elevator, you were a little disappointed that you weren't sharing room with Chan, yes you were pervert and total simp for Chan, he was too hot and your sexual drive was getting higher each passing second. The elevator doors opened and you got off. Chan handed you the room key and softly kissed your forehead, both you wished it was your lips.
"if you want anything, just knock okay?" Chan said in his lovely tone, I want you you internally screamed, nevertheless you gave him a nod and got inside that expensive room .
Starring at the ceiling while lying on the bed your mind was full of Chan, you knew he wasn't probably sleeping and was wasting time in watching random shit on internet and you were hungry, hungry for Chan, it wasn't your fault that Chan was so hot. Trying to fall asleep and fidgeting here to there you finally decided to knock on Chan's room door. A danger zone. You noticed how the door flunged open in less than few seconds.
"Hi" you said scratching back of your head and trying to think what next to say.
"Hi..?"Chan said being confused.

I saw in your au art where pearl leads the rebellion, she was telling Greg PD/RQ wasn’t worth the trouble. I’m wondering what she meant. I know PD/RQ made a lot of mistakes but it was out of ignorance, fear, shortsightedness or bad emotional decision. I’m not saying she was perfect but not evil Either more misguided. Fine if you can’t remember since the post was from a few years ago. Also enjoying you pearl squad AU. Hoping you do a fix for the pearl led rebellion
I'm pretty sure I know who you are nonny, since you liked most everything SU I'd ever posted, but anyway-
I appreciate the interest but Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond Apologetics are Not A Thing on this blog. Her relationship with Pearl was emotionally abusive, and I won't beat around the bush on that. Yes, she did some good things in amongst her many bad things, and she was always a better person than the other Diamonds, but that does not in any way shape or form erase the harm she caused.
In that AU in particular, the relationship with Rose is even more fraught. So, she still loved Pink Diamond, but wanted to be free, so she started the rebellion. She snuck away a lot, counting on the fact that Pink Diamond is easily distracted and scattered.
But eventually PD manages to catch Pearl sneaking away and the two get into an argument about it that eventually leads to Pearl snapping at her "I thought you cared about humans, even if you don't care about other gems." which... frankly would make Pink join out of spite to prove that she DOES care about other gems. But BOY the dynamics coming out of that are wildly different. She kind of ends up hijacking the Whole Thing as Rose and Pearl is BITTER, to say the least. There's a lot more hot and cold to the dynamic with her.
The fake shattering still happens in this but the context is less nervous conspiring together and more an argument about it because Rose is trying to hijack Pearl's rebellion and going along with the plan is the only way to not have Pink Diamond actively impede them because she's petty and Pearl is VERY stressed about it all. And The Order still happens and that makes it all MUCH worse.
She's on-and-off constantly with Rose, pivoting between trying to stand up for herself and being so lonely that she's willing to put up with her. Her telling Greg she's not worth the trouble in that doodle is her earnestly thinking he seems like a decent person (because she wasn't instantly jealous of him) and trying to warn him off because her experiences with Rose aren't exactly good.
He doesn't listen, but she tries.
I might do a fic for this someday (after I go back to and finish Dollhouse) but it started as a verse on my Pearl RP blog.

I just wanted to say that in my JoJo Gem AU Funny Valentine is not a gem, he's a revived human akin to Lion and Lars. He came into contact with Pink Diamond's Shards, which are the equivalent to the Corpse Parts in this continuity. In the original time-line, like in SU, PD faked her shattering, but in the SBR time-line she actually went through with it and her remains were scattered across the planet. D4C's abilities are covered somewhat by the warping and pocket dimension abilities Lion displays, we'll just say because he's a human he's worked about perfecting those powers to their full potential. Also, because he's already pink, his color scheme ends up kinda inverted so his suit is white and gold.

Guys!! I made a new SU AU!! I’m so glad I did this ;w;
Sooo this was just gonna be a Princess Spinel AU, but I decided to doodle some other important characters! (don’t mind my gemsona Ametrine; I got bored. She’s not part of the AU)
Basically, it’s a Romantic novel.. ya know, knights, castles, damsels in distress.. that kinda stuff. The canon story stays pretty much the same: the Diamonds are the Queens of their kingdoms, Pink faked her death, and Pearls are all servants of some sort.
I see Pink Diamond being the “mother” of Spinel (the princess, ofc). In this AU, Pink’s game involves tricking Spinel into standing still in her tower, which is already well decorated with plants. Over the course of 6,000 years, her little potted rose bushes overgrow and their thorns begin to entangle her, tearing her dress up and sticking to her. Now, the garden is just outside, and she can hear the message to the universe from her tower. Even after she poofs, her gem is in the middle of the thorny vines in her room. When she reforms, she gets entangled again anyway. Aaaand then she renounces her status as a princess and seeks bloody revenge!!
It’s kinda sad !! After I drew baby Spinel in her dress, I thought, “she looks like the actual incarnation of a rose!” So when I designed her post-incident form, I thought of a wilted, thorny rose. Raise your hand if you’d hug her anyway!! >_<
So.. please reblog if ya like it! This is the first time I’ve created an AU I actually think people would enjoy. If this gets enough notes, I’ll digitalize Spinel and color her! Heck, I could maybe set up a q&a if I have the motivation~
(As far as design goes I’m only completely satisfied with default Spinel’s; fun fact, this is the first time I’ve ever drawn Pink Pearl, Pink Diamond, and Rose. It might not be my best XD You may feel free to redesign them and make new designs for the others! I hate what I did to Rose Quartz lol)
