Super quick screenshot of this page in CB4! Nothing new, but it’s made the hierarchy clearer officially. I’ve always thought that Takeomi was separate from the hierarchy as advisor (as in, he reports directly to Mikey), but turns out that he’s on the same ‘level’ as the executives. Interesting!

TOKYO REVENGERS OCS:

PHARAOH’S KIDS

(Updated: 3-1-2024, added Seki and updated character deisgns)

Hihi!!!

Sekkun here with another character line up, this time it’s for my newly created Tokyo Revengers OCs.

They’re based off of, well, egyptian gods of course. I’ll explain that later. Been working on these OCs since some time ago, on and off.

Here is the character lineup, with their names, voice headcanons as well as a description (excuse my writing I am so sorry lmao)

So yeah that’s the 6 of them!

Now as promised, here’s what each egyptian gods they’re based off of:

-Koji Shimamoto (Anubis)

-Hisora Yamakawa (Horus)

-Junshin Miyazaki (Set)

-Hitsuto Fujita (Khnum)

-Arakawa Furutani (Sobek)

-Seki Saratani (Bastet)

HEIGHT CHART THINGY:

Now, since my TR OCs just came out from the oven, Koji being revamped especially, I don’t really have much lore between them.

BUT basically, these six are childhood friends that made a vow to compete against one another to see who’s the best in their friend group.

Tensions were risen slightly during their competition, however they still hang out as per normal when they’re not doing their daily gang stuff in their individual gangs. They all agreed to separate gang from play, too.

The game is played with the exception of Seki, who chose not to play the game as he quote-on-quote “prefers to do his own thing”. Seki will eventually join a gang, but that’s in the future and another story for another day.

Additional information is that Koji’s “REALLY good friends” with Mitsuya and he seems to talk about Mitsuya alot to Hisora.

Only Hisora knows about Koji being gay while the rest of his gang is straight and he’s supportive of it!…he just doesn’t like having to listen to his friend talk about or even mention the lilac-haired man every time.

Yeah here’s kinda like a detailed ref(?) for Koji as well as some headshot sketches of Hisora, Junshin and Arakawa.

I gave Arakawa a mullet in the final one because the man bun was so good I had to save that hair style for the 2008 time skip.

(Sorry Hitsuto, no concept art of you. I shitted you out on the spot 🫶)

Oh what an intriguing centre! If I may ask who is 'we'? Who works here helping with everything?

Well, of course, there's me! My name is Hunter and I use he/they pronouns. I started off from the bottom as a temp, but now I run the clinic. I guess you could call me a TR Admin if you want. I do work in all departments, but my main focus is intake, so either finding/securing rescues and helping drop-offs and surrenders settle in.

Amarilla (she/her) heads the actual rehabilitation department. In addition to raising the hoarde of "babytwos" anons kept giving us a while back, she connects with and re-socializes our more traumatized patients. When I'm not out, I'm mostly helping Ama with this kind of work.

Faye (she/her) heads the hatchery and nursery, keeping an eye on newborn litters, clutches of eggs, and incubators. She helps socialize the little ones so they can grow up feeling secure and unafraid. Of course, we try to get help from adult individuals of any baby's given species so that they'll properly know how to be themselves.

Then we have Sada (she/they/he), who does work with various machinery, namely refurbishing an old Fossil Revival System and trying to sort a Shadow Purification System. He insists her position here isn't permanent, but their other option is working at the University, and I know she really doesn't want to do that, so I think they're stuck with us for a while, at least!

My little focus and hc on Ran’s necklace we see in that small flashback in Tenjiku Arc. I want it to be something he keeps over the course of his life. Maybe it’s something Rindo gave him or a trophy of the brother’s very first victory. And Rin probably asks him why he doesn’t “get rid off this ugly thing” but Ran simply smiles and keeps wearing it. I think i just love useless looking items that don’t serve the narrative in any way but are little easter eggs that help us better understand a character's personality or imagine a part of their story (hence the fact that I loooove the plans of the bedrooms that we see in the character books), especially on under develop chara like the s62 boiz.

A few footsteps were heard when you called for him, and within seconds, he was right at the kitchen door, a worrying face evident in his features.

Yes Liebling? What’s wrong?

Ah, nothing much; we ran out of mayonnaise and a few other items for the dinner I’m making tonight. Can you run to the store and get them for me?

Konig nodded as he quietly walked towards you and took your hand gently.

Do you have a list?

Yeah, hold on.

You quickly take out a piece of paper and scribble down the ingredients needed, fold it neatly, and hand it to him. You think for a moment before smiling as you pat his arm.

Grab some dessert on your way home as well, my treat.

You finish by giving him some cash as his eyes brighten up and he chuckles.

Okay, thank you. I’ll make sure to be back as soon as I can, my Liebling.

You give him a peck on the cheek as he wears his hood and wave him goodbye once he goes into the car. You go back into the kitchen and prepare the other necessary preparations, such as seasoning and washing, before wiping your hands clean.

You decided that since there was extra time and you had to wait for Konig to return with the groceries, you might as well do other chores. You head into the master bedroom, which both of you shared, and open the closets, taking out a few of his military suits and laying them on the bed. It had been awhile since you looked through and iron them since most of his outfits are at the base, so it was refreshing to glance back at the series of uniforms he had.

You run your hands along the combat shirt and pants he had before, smiling when you see the clear difference in sizes over the years. He does still like wearing his black tactical Cyre G3 combat shirt, but what you really like is his Colonel uniform.

You lift it up as you examine it closely, tracing over the different badges and insignia sewed onto the uniform. You chuckle when you recall the memory of when he came home in it.

My dear! Wow, look at you all fancy and looking important! You give a whistle and chuckle as you quickly greet him and stare at him excitedly. Ah, please don't, my Liebling, this is embarrassing… Konig said as he quickly undressed and tossed the uniform onto the floor. But you’re the Colonel! Isn’t that, like, a great achievement in the military? Konig didn't reply as he sighed and kissed your hair; he didn't make any more comments about it, and you never brought it up since it bothered him, not until two days later during the late hours. You felt him rolling to your side as he slung his arm around your waist and pulled you close. I don’t like being one; it brings too much attention to myself. He mumbles as he buries his head into your neck, and you nod in understanding after making sense of what he was talking about and cooed him back to sleep.

But it looks so cool.

You thought to yourself as you looked at the collar, lined with delicate gold arabesques, as it shimmered under the light. You give a hum before you let the impulsive thought win and decide to wear it.

Truthfully, you’re also quite tall yourself thanks to your family’s genes, standing proudly at 6 ft tall(185cm), while Konig is just a few more inches taller around 6.6 ft tall(roughly at 200cm). It’s perfect because you can easily kiss his cheek without much effort and watch him blush hard every single time. He’s never gotten used to having someone who can stare at him the way you do so openly and with ease.

You decided that if you’re going to wear something this extravagant, you might as well go full out. So you promptly remove your shirt and wear the uniform carefully. It wasn’t comfortable due to how rigid the cloth felt against your skin, and the pants were a bit longer, but once you glanced at the mirror, you were quite proud and shocked at how good it looked on you, and it fits well, surprisingly. Well, everything except the sleeves. As always, it was also a bit too long and ended on your knuckles, so you just folded them up.

An idea pops into your mind the more you stare at yourself in the mirror.

You give a hum of amusement as you twirl and stretch around, giggling when you decide to imitate your boyfriend. You take a moment to recall the times when you got to watch his demonstration practice and smirk as you start acting alert and put on your serious game face. You hold up your arms in the air as you imagine yourself holding a rifle and mutter in a deep voice.

Target secured, attack the HVT!

You say this before twisting around and making the "pew pew" sound with your hand, giggling and chuckling as you completely get lost in the moment, then you crouch down beside the bed and pretend to resume a hiding position as you mutter softly.

And they say I could never be a sniper.

You make another dramatic "pow" sound before standing up and sliding to the center of the room with a "hyah!" and standing up, glancing around until you notice a tall figure at the bedroom door that you forgot to close. You instantly stop and freeze at your place as a blush creeps up your face.

Having fun, Mein Schatz?

You let out a huff of embarrassment for being caught like this, and you felt your neck heat up as you gave a sheepish smile.

I erm- Konig-

Scheiße, Sieh dich an... Shit, look at you...

He mutters as he slowly walks towards you; each step felt calculative, so slow as you watched his eyes that kept you in place. You can’t glance away, something about his gaze feels hypnotic.

Something about the way he looks at you makes you shutter; it's intimidating but also….primal…which is kind of hot. As he finally stands in front of you, so close that your chest bumps into his, he tilts his head to one side.

I hated this uniform, but now that I see you wear it, hmmmm…

His voice is deep and drawn out as he circles you, almost like a predator studying its prey. You gulped nervously as you tucked your collar in and answered back with a meek tone.

Should I take it off?

He gives you a long thought as he stands behind you. As soon as his hands are on you, he immediately carries and tosses you to the bed as you yelp at the sudden motion.

K-Konig?

You ask as you watch him crawl towards you as he reveals a smirk, then opens his mouth and lazily runs his tongue over his teeth as he gives a deep chuckle.

No, keep it on, because I...will be the one removing it.

You swallow excitedly as you bite your lips and rest your head on the soft pillow, under his mercy as he towers over you.

Who cares about dinner anyway?

TOKREV CHARABOOK 3: SHION’S PROFILE

TRANSLATION NOTES REGARDING SHION’S ‘DAY IN THE LIFE’ SECTION:

I’m not 100% sure, but I think what’s going on is that Rindou’s sarcasm has totally flown over Shion’s head, thereby resulting in Shion’s (oblivious) belief that he has Rindou’s respect.

The conversation between Shion and Rindou is casual and slangy, which made it quite difficult to translate, so I took some liberty in conveying the style of speech.

By the way, Rindou is portrayed here to be speaking in a casual way that is ‘sloppily’ polite (in other words, really not that polite).

Anyway: LMAO Wakui’s loathing for Shion knows no bounds...... He is the most oblivious character ever omg. Wakui does him so dirtily!

the summoning choreography chart

lads the autism got me again. we're in npmd lockdown.

I finally managed to figure out which little 'dance' belongs to each Lord In Black in "The Summoning" bc its hard to tell and it was bugging me. here's a vid for reference.

wiggly - space invaders lookin shit probably meant to be emblematic of his mouth tentacles (0:58, 1:52)

nibbly - licks his lollipop - when others do this they mime licking their hand or any other prop they're holding (1:06, 1:15)

blinky - makes a little triangle w his fingers and looks through it (when pokey does this he looks through his mask) in a sweeping left to right motion (his left). (1:12, 4:53)

tinky - both arms out front and then both arms back cross-country skiing vibes (4:58)

pokey - alternates one arm up one arm down giving drama, michael jackson, disco vibes (1:01, 1:09, 1:19, 3:01)

they each start 'out of the depths of hell and back' doing their own dance and then switch around doing each others dances until 'you summon us once, you summon us twice'

when I compared it to the digital ticket version and I was able to determine the exact order of each Lord's choreography

so i made a chart for yall who wanna learn the summoning choreography under the cut.

i need to sleep

glossary of dance moves and the shorthand i used for them.

im not a choreographer. i am bad at describing how people move in space. so. I used timestamps from the reference video from before. please god do not follow my mediocre descriptions - watch the people in the video do it and copy them.

TR - tra la la la (the skip they do on Stephanie has got a gun) (4:31) (it's hard to see in this version, i highly recommend checking out the digital ticket version if possible. they show this move first in the proshot bc they focus entirely on steph for the next line, but it does go second in order behind KK - you can see jon start to do KK at the transition into chunk 5 in the ref video, and at the end of the chunk he's bent forward bc he just got done doing the bowing part at the end of TR (you can see pokey doing that like 3 seconds earlier after nibbly does the skipping part)

i divided the song into chunks based on when the singing/dancing starts & stops.

Elemental Myrmidon

[Commissioned by @tar-baphon. I skipped the elemental myrmidon when I was writing up monsters from Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes not from a lack of interest, but because I couldn’t decide whether to make it one monster with four variants based on elemental type, or four discrete monsters. This commissioner picked for me. Because the same commissioner has an elemental earth themed monster in queue, I went with the earth myrmidon as my example.

The elemental myrmidon is based on the archons from D&D 4th Edition. That edition was the most revisionist take on D&D, and stripped out a lot of the idiosyncratic developments of the previous 40 years in order to replace them with new idiosyncratic developments. This was widely disliked and seen as a bad idea by the fanbase, so most of those were quietly ignored in the reboot to 5th edition. In 4th edition, basic elementals didn’t exist, replaced by humanoid, armed and armored archons (none of the celestial types from D&D having survived the edition change) and hybrid elementals that were more like the vague blobs of matter of previous editions, just combining multiple elements.]

Elemental Myrmidon CR 10 N Outsider (elemental) This creature is a vaguely humanoid mass of elemental earth, wearing a breastplate, helmet and greaves. It carries an enormous hammer.

An elemental myrmidon is an elemental creature that has sworn itself completely to the service of a higher elemental power. This is typically one of the elemental lords, but myrmidons serving primordials or even true gods are not unknown. The myrmidon is bound to a suit of magical armor, engraved with holy symbols to the power in question. As long as that armor remains intact, the myrmidon will never die, reforming inside the armor to serve again.

An elemental myrmidon’s tactics and feats tend to vary with its type. Air myrmidons often use ranged attacks, and use hit and run tactics in melee. Earth myrmidons favor overwhelming force, dealing as much damage as possible. Fire myrmidons often make use of two weapon fighting or other flashy techniques. Water myrmidons focus on defense as much as offense, and are most likely to specialize in combat maneuvers. Regardless, all myrmidons fight to the death in the service of their lord’s cause, knowing that they will be recreated to fight again if they fail.

Because the four elemental lords are evil, as are most of the primordials, more elemental myrmidons are evil than good. Those that are not evil may be hunted down by their evil fellows. Because myrmidons know their own weaknesses, they are sure to destroy the armor of rival myrmidons when slain in order to prevent them from rejuvenating. Elemental myrmidons are popular with conjurers for their strength and their servility; if they fall in the line of duty, their armor returns to the elemental planes before rejuvenation occurs. Most elemental myrmidons are bound to breastplates, but other forms of armor are possible.

Elemental Strike (Su) Once every 1d4 rounds, an elemental myrmidon can imbue its manufactured weapon or a slam attack with elemental energy as a swift action. The next time this attack hits an opponent, it deals extra damage, and a secondary effect, as determined by the myrmidon’s type: Air: 4d6 electricity, Fortitude save (DC 20) or stunned for 1 round Earth: 4d8 bludgeoning, Reflex save (DC 20) or pushed 10 feet and knocked prone Fire: 4d6 fire, Reflex save (DC 20) or burn (2d6) Water: 4d6 cold, Fortitude save (DC 20) or fatigued The save DC is Constitution based. Martial Training (Ex) An elemental myrmidon is proficient in simple and martial weapons, simple and medium armor, and shields (except for tower shields). Rejuvenation (Su) If an elemental myrmidon is destroyed, it reforms inside of its armor 1d10 days later. If the elemental myrmidon was on a plane other than the Elemental Plane appropriate to its element, the armor is transported to that plane (as by plane shift) before this rejuvenation occurs. Only by destroying the armor can this be prevented.
