missyrose/masterrose for the ship ask game?
so like what if you had this boyfriend right and he's fantastic, he's everything you could ever dream of, and you think it's all perfect. and then it turns out he's still hung up on his ex who kills people. for fun.
like god i know we never and will probably never get any master & rose content in canon but its soooo funny to me. there is no way around the master being the doctor's terrible ex. and rose being his new girlfriend who doesn't try to steal his body or murder him or take over the universe. and when people flatten rose's character, i find they make her a lot nicer than she is, they forget that rose is kind but god she's not nice, she is vicious, she can get mean as hell. if you put her in the same room as the master, she'd have the balls to get his ass. zero hesitation.
simm!master/rose is bleach blonde on blonde violence. missyrose is toxic yuri to the next level. i don't think rose could fix the master. i don't think rose would want to fix the master. the best the master could hope for is that the doctor brings him home and is sad enough about it that rose doesn't contemplate whether risking eating the tardis heart is worth turning the master into dust with a wave of her hand. but also. i think the master would respect that. the best way for him to like one of the doctor's companions, statistically, is for them to be a young woman happy to shout at him. i think he'd still be awful about it the whole time, because that's just how he is, but like. there would be a begrudging level of respect for who rose is and what she's capable of that might temper their relationship into a sort of frosty acquaintance.
a mutual understanding as well about who the doctor is to them, that they both love him but even more: that he loves them back so much that it's scary. (something that might bother missy less, but simm!master. i think if he ever looked how much the doctor loves him head on, he'd be terrified by it. which is why he doesn't. of course. he'd rather look down the barrel of a gun.) jealousy, too, because no one likes to share being the center of the doctor's world. (not even rose, except with a certain captain, as we all know.)
and i think they'd have fantastic hate sex on the tardis console.
[put any ship in my ask box and i’ll give my brutally honest opinion]

hello!!! i don't know if you're open to OC interactions but I was wondering if your Matvey and my Jack would be friends. ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ
Hi sorry about not answering this for a bit ive been a bit busy (btw I love Jack, he gives off a very devious aura( ̄︶ ̄) ) but to answer your question....
Yes? Matvey comes off very removed and silent compared to Jack's loud personality. Jack would bounce off of Matvey's silent nature repeatedly which would look odd to anyone else. Jack and Matvey are like polar opposites to most people but only because Matvey likes to hide away hoping to drive anyone away from him but once Jack doesn't leave him and is there to stay... well he gets very upfront in Jack's experience with traps, explosives, everything like a quiz and very in their face that would unsettle most people(he doesn't mean to come off as unsettling and doesn't really notice it himself. Kinda like the blue eyed people meme.) Before eventually telling him about his own traps, and explosives after a few days of one-sided silence. Matvey would initially be curious about Jack's inclination towards fire but doesn't bring it up since glass houses and all that, he has his own things too. Though, Matvey would try be helpful in his own way and that burning someone alive isn't the only way to kill someone and to think more towards a silent killer like smoke inhalation. Matvey would look for guidance on his own blueprints and chemical weapons, and traps, places to improve. He takes Jack's opinions very seriously.
Matvey would work in silence while Jack pointed out areas to improve and would like to do the same with Jack if she ever let him look at their own ideas.
They are bad influences to each other in a way, Jack just wants to just kill a hostile with fire for once while Matvey just wants to be allowed to use his chemical weapons, of similar opinions. Jack's very loud and talks back while Matvey just broods in the corner or storms off, they are both brats in their own ways.
Matvey ends up filing for a release of information on Jack's behalf as he feels guilty hiding his identity from Jack who he trusts and considers as a friend. He also just thinks Matthew is the worst fake name ever given. So yes, I do think they would be the best of friends.
I was hoping on doing something more detailed but I take breaks between detailed art due to probable burnout so here's the up to no good destructive blorbos ! I hope you find them just as cute ヽ(´▽`)/

14, 16, 24, 27, 32 for minah + bran!
ty tabby!! // romance & relationship headcanons
14. what traits does your muse want to avoid when it comes to choosing a romantic partner?
MINAH — excessive ego, cruelty, nosiness. minah's not interested in anyone who's too curious about her own business or too caught up in their own. she enjoys a light, uncomplicated fling. and nobody devoutly andrastian—she doesn't need that kind of energy in her life
BRAN — she's not interested in anyone inflexible, self-absorbed, doubtful, cynical. she understands stubbornness and the negativity that living in varania tends to create, but she doesn't want to bring that into her home or her heart. she's got way too much delight and determination to put up with the unending sludge of pessimism and disbelief.
16. what is/are your muse's love language(s)?
MINAH — gift giving. little miss hoarder with the endless pockets tends to consider giving people gifts (or receiving gifts) a pretty important act. physical touch is important to her too
BRAN — quality time and gift-giving. acts of service is in there too, but specifically as a form of giving gifts (her time, her energy, her labor, a final product). she like leaving a partner with some token of her affection (certain cat-like partners may also inspire a great deal of appreciation for physical touch: a massage or the comfort of a body leaned in close or even just an ankle hooked around hers. it's about the Being Near of it all)
24. is your muse proactive in communication with their partner(s), or is this something they need to work on?
MINAH — let's be honest, is minah proactive in communicating with anyone? it's definitely not one of her strong points. she used to be better at it, but none of her partnerships over the past few years have been involved enough to warrant any real effort at clear communication, so she's sort of stopped bothering. an atrophied skill, I would say
BRAN — she's a pretty good communicator, yeah! when she's having a rough spell she get worse at it—not less present, just less accessible and more deflecting. but generally speaking she's proactive about it. fostering clear and timely communication is part of her job as captain; it carries over into her personal life too
27. is your muse more confident or shy when it comes to approaching someone they like?
MINAH — confident! she's a theater kid extrovert she knows how to come onto someone
BRAN — confident. she's an incorrigible flirt, loves attention and enjoys the dance of getting to know someone better when she's interested in them. she's extremely confident in approaching people and also in being approached
32. does your muse have an ideal "type"?
MINAH — unfortunately I think she likes people who are a little dangerous and inaccessible. I'm reflecting on the campaign so far and the people she's been the most intrigued by have been a) warden recruiter nora (self-explanatory) and b) helvius with his funky magic and also his willingness to help her after she let him out. (that slight deference was also. I mean. it didn't not help. she likes someone who'll look up to her a bit, let her direct them a little. it made going home with people after a show a lot of fun; she'd be that larger-than-life thing on stage and then get to reap the benefit of someone admiring her up close.)
BRAN — likes someone who's at least a bit trouble. bright, quick, self-possessed. someone who'll challenge her and also have her back. she likes a partner who's a partner in all senses of the word. historically, someone not too clingy is also a plus—she's not going to stick around, and she doesn't particularly have any interest in dragging someone along with her when she goes. there are, of course, exceptions

(requested by anonymous) Exu finds Tachanka at the shooting range
“Alright, I’m heading out!” Exusiai announced as she left Penguin Logistics’ borrowed dorm. “Don’t go to lunch without me like last time!”
“Don’t be late, then,” Bison shrugged from his bowl of cereal.
The Sankta stayed just long enough to stick her tongue out at him before closing the door behind her. It was nice that the firing range was a short walk from where she was staying, especially since Rhodes Island had been very clear about where she could and could not blast things to smithereens. Apparently the landship had a lot more concerns about “structural integrity” than back home.
This morning, somewhat unexpectedly, she wasn’t the only one at the range… Actually, who was that? They looked more like a knight than someone who’d have a crossb- That wasn’t a crossbow. “Safety off.” A guy, then, with some real gravel to his voice. And his accent - an Ursus with a gun?
“That’s a real beauty you’ve got there,” she called out as she made her way to the firing position next to him. Clearly not some recruit who’d picked it up somewhere - his trigger discipline was instinct, as demonstrated when he clicked the safety back before turning to face the newcomer. “How long’ve you had her?”
“Safe. A few months. You are one of the Sankta I’ve heard so much about?” The halo and wings said as much.
Exusiai cocked her head. “Never seen one of us before? How’d you get a gun just hearing about us?”
“Back home, they’re much more common.” He set his machinegun aside and offered a hand to shake. “Tachanka, Team Rainbow.”
“Exusiai, Penguin Logistics. More common, huh? So you brought it from home?”
The former soldier nodded. “Da. The engineers made some modifications, but she’s as smooth as ever.”
“How about a little friendly competition, then?” The Sankta pointed down range. “Whoever shreds that puppy slower owes me a slice of apple pie!”
“And if I win?” Tachanka was audibly smiling.
The Sniper laughed. “Oh, you’re a funny guy, Tachanka! C’mon, there’s no way you’ve got me beat!”
“Alright, but if I do,” he continued nonetheless, “you can buy me a drink.”
“Hey, if I had the cash, I’d do that anyway. Kinda tight until payday, though, you know how it is.” She was used to it, though.
Oh, he definitely knew that life. “Water is fine.”
“Eh? Alright, I can do water. Still,” Exusiai smirked as she readied her rifle, “you’re not winning this bet, buddy.”
“We’ll see about that, malysh. Safety off! Firing!” “Rock n’ roll!”
BRRRRRRRR. It was mere moments before every target they could feasibly hit from their positions had been reduced to shreds. The Sankta’s eyes gleamed as she turned back to her competitor. “Wow! Guess I should’ve made it a marksmanship challenge instead, huh? You totally smoked that whole line!”
“Don’t sell yourself too short, malysh. You’re not so bad yourself.” Tachanka flipped the safety back down. “Safe. Apple pie, you said?”
“For real? There’s no way I won that, not when you’re packing that kinda heat.” She didn’t know a single Sankta with a weapon that fired so quickly.
The Sapiens shrugged. “An old comrade swore by it also. You can buy my vodka later.”
“Wait, vodka? We’ve got some of that at the dorm, actually…” Exusiai snapped her fingers. “Got it! Buy me some pie, and for dessert, party at my place tonight! I’m sure the girls won’t mind.”
“‘Girls?’ Hmm. Koetz, you owe me - mind if I bring a friend?” Not that Blitz needed any help meeting the lovely ladies of Rhodes Island.
She cheered. “Yeah! The more the merrier! You said you’ve got a Team, right? Bring ‘em all!”
“Cohen? At a party?” Actually… “I like the way you think, malysh. Let’s get that apple pie, hmm?”
“Woohoo!”
