Top: when Mario arrives at the Delfino Airstrip at the start of Super Mario Sunshine, there is some goop on the ground around the Proto Piranha miniboss. While some players may immediately recognize it as a crude drawing of Mario's head, the fact that the Proto Piranha is blocking the central area of the face and the oblique angle at which this is seen in-game make the goop appear to simply be random lines to some players.
Bottom: extracting the pollution texture from the game's files allows us to look at the design without the Proto Piranha being in the way. It depicts a stylized Mario head with Shadow Mario's "M with two dots above it" symbol replacing Mario's emblem.

I like finding words where you go "I wonder what the etymology on this is" and as far back as the reconstructions manage, the word means the same thing.
Like, "horse" derives from PIE *ḱr̥sós (“vehicle”), from PIE *ḱers- (“to run”). So somewhere in the record, someone saw a running thing and said "I could ride that". Or "squirrel" comes from Greek σκίουρος (skíouros) "shadow-tail"
In contrast, you have "cow":*
From Middle English cou, cu, from Old English cū (“cow”), from Proto-West Germanic *kū, from Proto-Germanic *kūz (“cow”), from Proto-Indo-European *gʷṓws (“cow”).
So as far back as we can tell, our ancestor saw a cow and went "yup, that's a cow".
Some of the same things happen for basic words like "fire", "water", "sun" (but not "sky", which seems to go back and forth with the meaning of "cloud"). Which makes sense. Super basic words are most likely to be preserved. It's just interesting to see which ones ended up getting Darkmok'd along the way.
*The entire Indo-European language family is in agreement that, yes, that is a cow.
Cognate with Sanskrit गो (go), Ancient Greek βοῦς (boûs), Persian گاو (gâv)), Latvian govs (“cow”), Proto-Slavic *govędo (Serbo-Croatian govedo, Russian говядина (govjadina) ("beef")), Scots coo (“cow”), North Frisian ko, kø (“cow”), West Frisian ko (“cow”), Dutch koe (“cow”), Low German Koh, Koo, Kau (“cow”), German Kuh (“cow”), Swedish ko (“cow”), Norwegian ku (“cow”), Icelandic kýr (“cow”), Latin bōs (“ox, bull, cow”), Armenian կով (kov, “cow”).
The Sumerian word is also close enough that linguists think it is related. But nobody is entirely sure which direction the borrowing would have gone (from the Sumerian language to an early Proto-Indo-European, or the other way around).

Sonic is the prequel to Mega-Man. (Shadow *is*Metal Sonic)
It's in the eye silhouettes.
Consider this; Sonic is often featured in a human world, where there are very few creatures like himself and his companions. Stranger; the closest thing to himself is a race of Echidnas. Not hedgehogs, not Foxes, Echidnas.
But before that; Egg-botnik is seemingly obsessed with the hedgehog? Why is that? I posit that it's because Dr. Robotnik is actually the hedgehog's creator. And because of freewill, Sonic has decided to go against his creator and free as many of his creations as possible.
While also simultaneously taking care of a strange lifeform known as Chao. Which have the ability to evolve into the titual hedgehog, or other creatures dependent on what they're fed, or if they're dropped on their heads while being taken care of.
In Shadow the Hedgehog, two things are revealed; one is that Shadow is a robot. Like Sonic 2's enemy; Metal Sonic. Who is assumed to be Robotniks attempt to clone and defeat Sonic, but what if... Is just Robotnik showing Sonic that he's the same sort of machine. Just with a fleece exterior.
This would also explain why Sonic, Metal Sonic, and Shadow can all utilize Chaos Emeralds *and* metal rings as a power source. (And why they can use techno-magical barriers)
Shadow the Hedgehog also reveals something else; the necessity for super-human hedgehogs to use weapons outside of their typical form.
Shadow basically becoming Zero, using both lasersword and blaster weaponry. If this is the case; it's possible that Sonic is *indeed* the faker.
Exactly like how the legendary "Blue Bomber" is the sequel to Zero(proto-mang).

This week's Mando episode was... interesting? Maybe people just hyped it up too much, but even though I did like it, I still feel like that if the preceding episodes were stronger and more coherent, it would've made this episode work more.
Like to start, it's good to finally see Gideon resurface, but it still feels kind of weird? Like the fact we never saw him get broken out just makes it feel like Season 2's capture doesn't carry much weight anymore.
The issue isn't necessarily that he escaped, that I feel was inevitable, it's more I just feel like simply leaving it as a half baked "mystery" with a super obvious answer was underwhelming and him showing up like Season 2 never happened kinda undermines that.
The other big thing was the Nite Owls and Children of the Watch's forces coming together. Like, we got the fight between Paz and Axe, and in this context it's fine, but the fact we never really got to explore the conflict properly over the season makes it look more superficial. Like, all this did was made me realise the issues of this season are still there. I did like Grogu showing up to break up the fight, though.
Speaking of which... Grogu now has "IG-12". The IG-11 thing was such a weird plotline, and the fact it actually came up was... interesting. He was pointless in the end with exploring Mandalore... but they also fix him anyway so Grogu has a mech, lol. I do have to admit Grogu going drunk with power was kind of funny, though. Also the Anzellan was back and still hasn't forgotten Grogu's crimes against them, lol.
Also... turns out the pirates WERE connected to the Empire after all? I guess the wording was vague enough for it to not actually be, but the way Kane said "the pirates" sounded like they were actually enlisted by Gideon. Kind of random and contrived TBH. Even more so that Carson Teva was like "the pirate attack on Nevarro is clear evidence the Empire is up to something". It all just feels connected for the sake of it needing to be the plot.
Okay enough Season 3 gripes, time to talk about the big scene... the Imperial Shadow Council. The fact that Brendol Hux is part of it pretty much confirms this is basically a proto First Order. The Praetorian Guards confirm this even more. Also I bet Snoke wished his guards had Mandalorian gear, lol. Then again, I guess the heads just look Mandalorian, we don't know if these ones actually use beskar. Just mentioning because obviously Snoke's... didn't, lol.
Pellaeon was there, it sounds like Thrawn isn't back yet (which I guess means Pellaeon's ship was separated from Thrawn's? or the 7th Fleet has resurfaced but Thrawn himself is just hiding?). Gideon totally wants to take charge, lol.
So apparently Brendol Hux is into cloning, specifically with "Project Necromancer", which will ensure new leadership for the Empire. I feel like it's trying to imply a connection to Palpatine, but... I'm not sure? Thing is, the Sith Eternal and the First Order always had a weird relationship. The latter didn't know of the former's existence, except for a few moles like Allegiant General Pryde (and well, Snoke being an unwitting agent of them as Sheev's seat warmer). So what's going on here is either that Brendol Hux has his OWN cloning project to try and make a new Palpatine or whoever he deems worthy to lead the Resurgent Empire, or he's secretly in cahoots with the Sith Eternal, which would just be weird and convoluted. Or they just straight up retcon that the Shadow Council or whoever knows what the Sith Eternal is up to but then somehow that's lost overtime... which is also convoluted as heck. IDK, we have to wait for more info, I guess. Also I guess Armitage Hux's father is also his... brother. Brian Gleeson plays Brendol, lol.
Also this is small but unless I missed something, I feel like Rae Sloane should've been part of the Shadow Council. They don't have to line everything up perfectly, but it would've been a nice nod to new EU fans. Guess she's busy, or the First Order is a separate project, lol (No idea why Brendol is here then if so, unless they just wanna see if this Shadow Council works... look, I'm making this too convoluted. I need to stop and just wait) .
The new Dark Troopers (Phase 4?) were cool I guess, Gideon has them in Beskar armour. I like that their helmets have a slight resemblance to First Order stormtroopers even if they're mainly trying to emulate Mandalorians. Also... apparently they're all clones of Moff Gideon. Guess they really perfecting the accelerated aging process, huh. I wonder what having "Jedi" (aka Grogu probably) in them means for them, though. They don't seem Force sensitive.
Anyway, Mandalorians all are uniting and making it down. It's cool to see the fleet I guess. Was also cool to hear more insight on what Bo did during the Purge and stuff. Also... the Armourer saying "Death Watch is no more" isn't exactly a denial the Children of the Watch came from them. :P We saw their symbol in Season 1, after all.
Also... the fuck was that giant monster? It didn't really look like the mythosaur, and whether it was or not, it was pretty random TBH.
To end on a positive note, a lot looked great, especially the Coruscant stuff. Rick Famuyiwa also continues to be a good director.

i don't have cringi fanart to lurk you in. yet. but i do have technical *.txt piece, sort of "worldbuilding&questioning". so, if you're really eager to see any new content..
First of all, all that superhuman-supernatural stuff, ether Marvel or DC or other, is working more for commercial sell than for analysing extraordinary scenarios or deeply experimenting with "super" environments. Science fiction sometimes do! But those are comics, for vast audience, so.. i just take my statement axiomatic. Marvel has some of the coolest series and characters, but they did set them in a simplified world to print more covers faster, and now their first, main/official runs are kinda stuck in prescribed goofyness. And i'm just that sort of a person who takes original, makes original-copy, moderates it until half unrecognisable, usually just to enjoy alone ,:/ i shared some thirst art, but

Starting from Otto – gets de-aged into late 20s. With his genial mind he got a high position at Oscorp really quick, so his sanity had weakened at 31 (was damaged already, in fact), mostly due to Osborn's influence. The significant change in character - he's not just strictly nuclear physicist about industrial energy, he's a skilled robotics engineer, and basically that "tech guy" for all occasions. So when Norman employed him, year later Otto became a new head of previously humble experimental lab of robotics and nuclear manufacturing. While working there for other three years, it became a complex scientific section, where Octavius developed his doctoral thesis. But as Oscorp was already gaining from the shadow weapon development and production, it was a matter of a short time and "personal" work on Otto's mind before Osborn pushed his knowledge and skills into this darker industry.
Basically there were no fighting Spider-man at those times, as Otto acted not on his own and under the protection of corporation. Sometimes his CEO would fund his own research/invention needs, as with doctorate and with infamous "arms". They were kind of a conglomerate of many tests on AI, mechatronics, portative nuclear energy sources and biotechnology in prosthesis, which should contributed to military, control and forces purposes – as the world was filled with people with supernatural powers, and the big part of this minority were feared much, as a "super" feature overlapped mostly on a sample of not "comfortable/safe" people. The only reason exactly Octavius' arms had such design – it was more of a funtime and sidework of a man who genuinely loved cephalopods.
After Otto gone partly insane, he couldn't tolerate being near his previously almost-partner, so he rises his contacts in criminal world, aka proto version of Sinister Six, openly committing crimes around the whole state, stealing dangerous and suspicious stuff, alarming authorities to call some young superhero to catch him, but they are busy with actual supervillains at that time. That's where Peter decided to act, and where their confrontation for several years started.
But what about Norman and Otto? They simply collided with their personal madnesses – from a hard childhood up to pathological psychology and behaviour. Norman is pretty accurate a sociopath in the hugely draining depression, with an idea-fix on family's legacy and with the rare soft spot for Otto (he can't admit), but with actual alter ego of Goblin, who is extremely atrocious and destructive, and has his own perception of "soft spot" for doctor. Mostly like original, but even more deceptively easygoing and kind outside. Octavius is megalomaniac just as depicted in canon, despite the fact he received and never hided it since the childhood, luring people by a humble (cute in some way) appearance and usually ending up terrifying them. What he subconsciously looks for - is both an admiration and love from the whole world and the praise from those who are beyond powerful and a-priory incapable of praising and compassion - right as he sees Norman. So the idea-fix of last becomes his goal too, and they evolving from strangers to kinda lovers rapidly.
Until the accident happened – no melting harness on skin, just a deadly explosion that put Otto in a miserable condition at 32 for about a year, almost taking away his sight and ability to walk. Even if it was Goblin who messed with Octavius' workplace leading to damage, Otto has no belief in that and blames Norman for betrayal, robbing Oscorp greatly (arms inclined) before leaving and forming his criminal band. Despite he doesn't have a clear goal on band's functioning at first (besides periodically rush at Oscorp), Parker started to intervene in their crimes, and so called Doc Ock became obsessed with the idea to defeat Spider-man.
Soon the Green Goblin shows himself the first time, but no body can recognise a director of international corporation in him, as the serum changes him enough (high supernatural aspects of serum). He seems to be on a chase for Spider-man too, for unknown for Otto reasons, so they kind of bond without the last realising he cooperates with his.. well, ex. Osborn, when alter ego takes his mind over, actually defends Otto from superheroes, but for a wicked care attempts - to see how Octavius will hit sufficient madness to be with Goblin.
So it's like - Norman abuses yet strangely adores Otto, Goblin ruins their relationship, then invests in Ottos' sanity fall, so he can have him for his own self. It all whilst Sinister Six battles with Parker, and Octavius find that Peter is Spider-man, but keeps silent as takes their confrontation very personal because he sees in Peter's life the one which he could have, but instead had his horrid childhood and nowadays.
As it's MCU world, there's a good amount of rare interaction between "friends of A, who's friend of B, with friends of B" (works with foes too). I'm just getting exited when clever-guy types from different series meet each other. I want to mess with Stark Industries.
Finally, since now i proudly have more than 0.5 follower, i will abuse my world level popularity
ps - why otto? well. cuz he dramatically sad, wacky af, chaotic, childhood problems, apex bitch behaviour and drawn ugly yasss finally i can relate but charismatic. depends on issue though. yet always neat role model in science field i'm in! ALSO THIS MAN GRAND TTHHICCKK IM THIRSTING

Top: in the intro to the first mission of Bianco Hills in Super Mario Sunshine, Shadow Mario can be seen standing next to the Proto Piranha miniboss. He only appears in the intro; when Mario reaches the spot he is shown standing at, he is nowhere to be found.
The entity seen in that intro is actually not Shadow Mario, but a Boo disguised as Shadow Mario. During gameplay, Boos disguised as Shadow Mario only appear in the seventh episode of Sirena Beach, however, here one of them is used as a stand-in for the real Shadow Mario during a cutscene. This can be verified by comparing the textures.
Bottom left: the real Shadow Mario’s textures are darker and a more uniform color, with rounded areas of shading.
Bottom right: when a Boo is disguised as Shadow Mario, it appears lighter, has more contrast, and shows characteristic thin lines on its texture.
By comparing the two, the Shadow Mario from the intro in Bianco Hills is revealed to be a Boo. This is also verified by checking the internal files.

These Internet entries are often brief, user-generated, paranormal stories intended to scare readers. They include gruesome tales of murder, suicide, and otherworldly occurrences.
These, however, are stories written by me, and these are fan-favorites, some of these stories contain disturbing and shocking content, you may be aware of existing stories like BEN Drowned and Slender Man, but this is my top 22 stories.
22. Aimkid: Lost Animation
Aimkid: Lost Animation is a ridicious trollpasta about the youtuber aimkid, after stumbling across a channel called Aimkid Archives, everything takes a creepy turn, but this pasta isn't really all that special, but go ahead and check it out if you like.
21. Shadow Fredbear's Insanity
In this creepypasta, a traumatized person discovers a tape, and this is the fore-father of every story written by me, the tape itself featured Shadow Fredbear going on a rampage and murdering his friends, proto, lolbit, springbonnie, bonnet, and even his girlfriends, shadow lolbit and shadow funtime foxy in many graphic ways.
it's implied that the tape itself was made by the devil.
20. The Crumbling House Next to Me
This house actually exists, however, the events in this story doesn't, well, it's unknown, maybe, this house actually had a serial killing history, and some people claimed that this pasta is connected to Sammy the Cat.
19. Gilligone Island
You might've heard of this show, gilligan's island is a american sitcom about a group of people getting stranded on a island, however, there was a episode that was banned for cannibalism, this one was simply called gilligone island, the author explains this episode but the set used in this episode was burnt down in real life.
18. Luigi's Mansion: Hanging Shadow Glitch
During the release of luigi's mansion on the Nintendo GameCube, players spotted a creepy glitch later on in the game, and people thought it was a reference to the beta trailer that everyone assumed to be a game over screen, however, a player broke into a abandoned nintendo building, and added everything back, the game takes a creepy turn.
17. I Found a Forest Creature
During march on 2023, at nighttime, a person discovered a cryptid, it seemed like a humanoid entity, but it wasn't a human at all; the limbs were taller than a regular human would have, and the facial features weren't human, the creature is described to have four legs and a black body with what looked like a bird-like face.

A random hobo was sitting in their room, browsing for some ROM hacks, and they stumble across a super mario world hack that has no name, they played it, and they discovered that some map objects were missing, and mario & luigi had no face, this story went as by far to describe a disturbing image of a mutiliated horse painted green to resemble yoshi, it's clear that this is a trollpasta that makes fun of the faceless trope in creepypastas.
15. Prototype Fredbear "Ex" Lolbit
This tale tells how break-ups can lead to some tragedies, not some, but this one takes that route, lolbit, springbonnie, bonnet, and shadow fredbear wants a idea to get back at prototype fredbear for unintentionally avoiding their anniversary, shadow fredbear tells lolbit to break up with him, she did, and proto disappeared afterwards, he was later found in a dust bin with scratches over him.
14. The Boiler Test Theory
There was a theory where a video that was surfacing through youtube was a part of a experiment, a lot of people involved passed away from tragedies, some brutal, some are natural, this theory was taken from a deleted wikipedia page.
13. The Last Misadventure
There's a DeviantART user named @bex-saysike or saysike123, a friend of saysike123 discovers a animation that has the same art style as if saysike123 drew them, this video was made before the creator of Prototype Fredbear's Ask Series #0 killed himself.
12. The Kennedy Tapes (NOT ON THE WIKI YET)
There was an active killer named Jack Kennedy, his tapes were recently recovered by authorites, and all of them were snuff films of him killing people, one of them includes a little boy being ran over by a train in the same picture taken above.
11. The Howard Family (NOT ON THE WIKI YET)
There was a loving family known as the howard family, frederick was the father of his son anthony, frederick loved to shoot up grizzly bears for food until a unfortunate tragedy would take place, they're now spirits and are possessing the main cast of Prototype Fredbear's Ask Series.
10. The Three Stooges Lost Episode (NOT ON THE WIKI YET)
Unlike dead dunderheads, this one was discovered by one person, it was a short of the three stooges, this episode was recovered along with the gilligone island episode, and this episode showed scenes that caused the episode to get banned entirely due to the stunts the actors did, they thankfully recovered.
9. Unedited Footage of a Bear
This is a short uploaded by Adult Swim, however, there was a different version that was aired on tv once, it featured creepy moments like ill people hanging from nooses, it's obvious that this is just a simple trollpasta like aimkid: lost animation and empty.
8. Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared
Although, not a creepypasta. but there's one based on the first dhmis episode, creativity, this was a prototype that was going to make it to television, but it didn't.
7. Five Nights at Prototype Fredbear's (NOT ON THE WIKI YET)
This is just a regular FNaF fangame, but there's a theory going around with the game being haunted, this was because I made a poll about it on gamejolt, and yes got picked, you can try it yourself and see if the game is haunted.
6. Lost Episodes Are Real, I Own Them
This pasta is about 3 episodes that the protagonist found like gumball getting harmed by penny's father, mr. noseybonk pointing a knife at the viewer, and curly playing the knife-finger game, and moe hitting him with the knife.
5. 11/27/22 (NOT A CREEPYPASTA)
This may not be a creepypasta, but this is a video uploaded by me of my former friend showcasing a amber alert on his television, it featured voices and loud noises, truly unsettling.
4. Soul_Opens
Just like 11/27/22, this is a youtube video as well, Soul_Opens was a new roblox myth that I and my friend targeted in my 2020 series, some videos included me being startled by the things happening in the series.
3. Prototype Fredbear’s Ask Series #0 (Or Prototype Fredbear's Ask Series: NUMBER 0)
This is a snuff film of my ask series over on the fnaf amino, this episode features creepy imagery, and gore, this video was taken from the people on the dark web, and the guy who uploaded this video on the amino explained that two of the actors, springbonnie and lolbit resembled my best friends, but it wasn't them.
There's some videos that claim to be the real thing however.
2. Burnt Luigi
"Burnt Luigi" is a Creepypasta/ARG created by JosephTheSnail (or JosephTheSnailShow). The story explains a weird copy of Super Mario 64, an installment of Nintendo's Super Mario franchise, where the player supposedly activated an easter egg that shows Luigi burning alive and becoming disfigured afterwards. The game itself was suddenly found at Gamestop, even though they don't sell games like that. The weird part about this game is that Luigi never even appeared in it until it got remade for the DS.

Sammy the Cat was a Warner Bros show, that was lost due to the creator of the show acting...odd...this show was recently recovered by a person who was clearing out the estate of his grand-aunt's house.
Sammy the Cat can be seen eating from a bowl of seemingly raw meat, but it was made clear on what it was when the second dvd was watched.
The story ends with the protagonist suffering from two of the things, sammy's actor was suffering over, and that's why Sammy the Cat takes the #1 spot.
