hey hey!!! since most polls will close in a few hours, I'm here to explain how things will go from now!!
I'll start setting up the match ups tomorrow, to hopefully have them ready for thursday. Remember that it was voted that these would be randomized for the next rounds as well!
If we're left with any ties, I'll set polls for those on friday, and they will last just 24 hours, and with that done, hopefully we can start round two by monday!! If we don't have any ties I'm planning on starting on saturday (which I personally prefer).

Violet's actually had a bunch of designs with minor tweaks because 1) I'm indecisive, and 2) I was actively learning how to draw mobians while redesigning Violet
Originally she wore shorts and a sports bra, and she had heelys/roller skates because I thought they were cool. The idea was to make her sporty like Sonic, but she looked more like Shadow with the dark marks, chest fluff, and the red and black outfit. Also, she only had one inhibitor ring because she didn't really need them, Shadow gave her an old one to show that they were family (if I ever finally get around to future designs for the og cast, Sonic gets an old inhibitor ring too. Rogue still has the one from the end of SA2 too).
Here's when I changed up their shoes because I didn't like how I drew the skates. Funnily enough, these probably look more like roller skates than the boots. I ended up toning down her eye marks too because they were getting ridiculous.
This was Violet 3.0. I got rid of the fluff and shorts to make drawing her easier, decided that she did need inhibitor rings, and gave her bangs to cover her big ass forehead lol. I still didn't like her design and straight up stopped posting about my kids until I could fix it. I was mostly just making little tweaks here and there.
And now we have current Violet! I sat down a little bit ago and spent almost a week redesigning all of my fan kids, and of course Violet was the first. I did swap her shoelaces for straps, but other than that I gave her an outfit that wasn't so plain and fixed her bangs. Now they keep them forward instead of keeping them swept back. Also, you can definitely see my art improve a lot over the last two years and I'm very proud of that.

About Violet: (by @t4tsurge) Violet (she/they) was created by [REDACTED] using Sonic and Shadow's DNA, and as such she shares their same abilities (enhanced speed, chaos abilities, etc.). They mostly take after Sonic, having his same adventurous and fun loving spirit and cocky attitude. She also inherited Shadow's sense of duty, wanting nothing more than to travel the world, using her abilities to protect it like her parents did at their age.
About Horizon: (by @scorpiolight-madd) Horizon and her twin brother Fathom are time travelers, hailing from an alternate future where Eggman won the war, and Infinite usurped his power to become king. She’s very prim and proper in comparison to her brother, and she’s usually the one making the plans, and trying to stop her brother from running headfirst into danger. She’s a very anxious person, and easily gets lost in her own thoughts and worries.
