warnings: this is my first time writing, so it might be a bit cringy :')

being in dance competition is tiring. well, for everyone else it is, but not for you.

as one of the younger contestants in street woman fighter, you have a lot of energy which showed a lot during dance battles and made you win a couple of times.

you lived off of the adrenaline and excitement that dance gave you.

so naturally, being on break was very boring. (you were thankful for the rest, but still)

everyone on set pretty much knows how easily bored you can get and that you like to film tiktoks on break.

and how you tried to let everyone in set to join you.

your next victim? the one and only Bada Lee.

"unnie, stand here." you guided bada a bit back from where the camera is so you wouldn't hit her when you danced.

bada let you grab her arm and guide her gently as she stared at your adorable and energetic self.

she secretly had a soft spot for you. i mean, who wouldn't? but still.

and whenever you had a dance battle? it's like you got her in a trance whenever you dance. all her eyes, focus, and attention were on you.

"what do i do?" she asked you as you checked the angle on your phone if it was right.

"nothing," you turned your head and smiled at her. "just stand there and watch me." you winked teasingly, before starting the tiktok.

as the timer counted down, you readied yourself, excited just how bada would react.

the song "fantasize" by ariana grande started playing and your body immediately reacted, your eyes and aura changing as if a switch was flipped.

bada's eyes widened and her jaw slacked, eyes glued onto your figure.

the way you moved, your hips, your waist, your legs, your body was captivating bada in every way.

and it didn't help that your outfit was very skin-tight.

she couldn't stop herself from blushing and smiling so widely when you faced her and winked.

as the song ends, again, as if a switch was flipped, you were back to being your sunshine self, smiling gleefully at bada.

"thank you, bada unnie." you bowed slightly at bada before getting your phone back from the floor.

"it's no problem." bada smiled back, before approaching you and leaning close.

"mind doing that for me?" she whispered teasingly. "in private?"

you felt your eyes widen. was it just you or did the room suddenly got hot all of a sudden?

bada laughing lightly, ruffling your hair. "i'll be looking forward to your next dance." she winked before walking away.

Synopsis: viewers of the new season of Street Woman Fighter couldn't help but notice the interactions you have with the leader of BeBe on each episodes, which made them concludes that there is something going on with you and Bada.

You and Bada met each other when you were chosen to be one of Kai's back up dancer for his first single.

From that, your relationship blooms and now here you are in Street Women Fighter 2. But unfortunately you are going to battle each other since you are the 6th member of the international team, Jam Republic.

Viewers and other teams were shocked when they saw you in a different since you got quite the recognition too when you worked with Bada before, so they thought you'll be on team Bebe.

Ep.1: Bebe's Team Evaluation

Everyone has speculated that maybe there have been a bad blood or some kind of drama between the two of you, but as fans watch every episode, they start to think other wise. One fan had decided to compile all your moments with Bada.

When Bebe first appear at the Fight zone and watched their evaluation video. Your reaction when you saw Bada on screen was deemed one of the most iconic reaction by fans.

"OH MY GOD! SHE'S HERE?!!" You said as you quickly got up from your seat and starts jumping around.

Your team looks at how adorable you are.

"Y/n looks so excited" Latrice commented as you nod your head really fast.

"I DO! HOLY— wait I can't cuss on the show.." you sat down next to Kirsten.

As Bada's performance video starts playing, the camera focus on you and your star struck expression as you watch her evaluation.

"God, she looks so sexy— I mean she danced really good" You said as your team starts laughing at what you said.

Bada, when watching their evaluation video, couldn't stop smiling whenever you appear in it. Almost like the bad feedback her team got from other teams were forgotten.

Fans quickly take note of this as they saw how you and Bada react to each other.

Ep.1: Jam Republic's Entrance & Team Evaluation

You were the last group to arrive in the Fight zone. You are so excited. You're team had agreed to have a pink and white motif, so you showed up to the fight zone in this outfit.

Everyone has been anticipating your team's arrival so when they saw you guys walking down the stairs, all eyes were on you.

Muttered comments about yours and Audrey's looks were heard once you entered the fight zone, which made you smile.

"Oh look at Y/n"

"She looks like a doll"

The camera focuses on your face as the members of Mannequeen make comments about your looks.

The camera then pans to Bada, who is looking at you in awe, and can be seen gulping hardly as she looks at you.

"Why do she—they look so pretty" Bada said as she never took her eyes off of you. Her team members laugh at their leader who is making it way too obvious about her and Y/n.

The video started playing and almost every comment you received was just about your pretty face.

Until Bada came up on the screen.

"She really is pretty, when I first met her a while back, I thought that Kai is collabing with a female idol." Bada chuckles in the video.

You instantly hid your face in your hands, trying to hide the fact that you're blushing after receiving the compliments.

You received the harshest comment out of all your crew.

"Y/n? She's just a pretty face. I wouldn't even classify her as a rookie or a beginner dancer"

"She's just their team's mascot"

"Honestly if she wasn't Kai's backup dancer, she probably wouldn't be here now."

You didn't mind the criticism, but Bada sure did.

The camera once again shows Bada who has her tongue poking the insides of her cheek once again.

"Look at how pissed Bada is"

"Y/n must be Bada's really close friend for her to be this mad when Y/n received those comments."

"No but like... look at how Bada is staring at Y/n, you can't tell me she's not down bad for Y/n"

Were just one of the few comments the viewers made when they noticed this interaction.

Ep.1: Bada vs Redy

When Bada was chosen as Redy's 'No Respect Dancer', you instantly stood up from your seat and even climb up on it just to get a better view.

"Not Redy, but Soobin. You are still an 8th grader to me"

Your jaw literally drops to the floor when you heard what she said.

"She is like a gangster" Ling tells Emma who pointed out to Y/n "Look at Y/n's reaction." As the two giggles.

Once BBHM started playing for Bada's turn, you already know that this battle is slready over.

Bada teases Redy by standing tall closely to her, which made you squeal at how cool she looks like.

Even the other crew are enjoying your expression.

But that's not all, when Bada decided to thrust her hips before grinding on the air, you are literally gasping for air at how loud you are screaming.

"Oh dear god, I'm gonna faint~" you said fanning to yourself as you watch Bada pull her shirt up while the paper in on her mouth.

Audrey kept laughing at you and even Wolf'l Yeni Cho agrees with you.

From then on, people started shipping you with Bada and has always been on look out for some crumbs as they adore how you two interact with each other.

Synopsis: You're Monika's little sister and you share the love for dancing like your older sister does so you decided to join team Bebe, wanting to prove to everyone and to yourself that you're not just Monika's shadow.

Warnings: a bit of angst because why not? but there's gonna be fluff 🫶🫶

(A/N: this request came from anon and it's hard not to do it because i can picture this in my head 😭 it's so good and im really hoping that i do this idea any justice)

You sighed heavily as you looked at Bada and your team. You're extremely nervous since you were invited as a team to join Street Woman Fighter 2, the same competition your older sister joined as well. You were supposed to join with your sister at the first season but the both of you ultimately decided against it. As Monika said, people would only see you as her copycat which is completely understandable to you got her permission to join another dance crew so you can further improve and make a name for yourself, not just because you are Shin Y/N, Monika's little sister.

"You good babe?" Bada snapped you out of your trance and you nodded, smiling at her. You and Bada had been friends for the longest time and when you officially joined Bebe, the both of you got even closer then started dating. Monika has been amazing and supported your relationship with Bada. She's just glad that her baby sister is being loved and treated well.

"Yeah.. Just nervous about what the other people are gonna say." you told her and she gave your hand a squeeze to ease your nerves. You hugged each team member, your own way of saying good luck and to ease your anxiety. When it was go time, you put on your resting bitch face and walked out with your team to the fight zone to meet the other competitors.

The things other groups has said about your team is infuriating. You know some comments were made just for the sake of the competition but damn, they hit all the wrong nerves and it pissed you off. You expected the comments like "Monika's shadow" directed to you and you didn't really care but when they were disregarding your other team member's efforts by calling Bebe nothing if it wasn't for you and Bada, you really wanted to start a fight. That's just downright mean.

When everyone has already settled down, you could feel some stares directed at you. You couldn't really blame them since it's like you're a carbon copy of Monika though you'd like to believe that you're the goofier sister but then the both of you are goof balls when together so it's hard to tell.

"She really is Monika's shadow.. Look at her joining Street Woman Fighter as well.." you heard hushed comments like that which made your brows furrow. You're now itching to prove them wrong, that you're your own person and not just your sister's shadow.

Bada also heard the comments and just subtly held your hand, assuring you that everything's gonna be okay and you'll definitely crush everyone who thinks that you're a shadow of your sister, that you're just a cheaper version of Monika.

When it was time to reveal who got the most 'no respect' in each team, you got the most but instead of getting angry, you grinned. It's time to show them what you're really made off. Everyone changed to more dance appropriate outfits and went back to the fight zone. Bada went in first against Redy which secured the first win for your team. When it was finally your turn, you looked at Bada and then your sister, who gave you an encouraging nod. Even being Monika's sister won't save you from her harsh words. She's fair when it comes to judging and isn't scared to hurt you with the truth as long as it means you're going to improve yourself.

You had a battle with at least one representative from other competing teams and there were times that you lost but it didn't put out the burning determination you felt to show them who Shin Y/N really is. You danced like your life depended on it and when it was finally over, you rushed back to your team and Bada immediately wrapped you in a hug along with your team members who's very much proud of you. The other teams were stunned to say the least. They didn't expect you to be that good. You're versatile as a dancer and has that unwavering determination in your eyes and it was then silently agreed on by everyone who doubted you that you are indeed your own person, not just Monika's sister. You are a force to be reckoned with.

megumi genuinely respects you as a sorcerer, seeing the endless nights you’d spend in your room training

he claims he uses full force on you when you two train, but he’s obviously lying

meg can be a picky eater sometimes, so he puts it on your plate

he appreciates when you slide your soup to him without a word though

he likes his space, and he greatly appreciates that you know that!!

sometimes he wants to sit with you in silence, and sometimes he wants to be alone, and somehow you can read his mood perfectly

The dark clouds of the sky but only a memorable day of potentially dangerous rejection and love can occur into the streets of China, jaha didn't know what to do since he had always been the smartest in every situation and in every battle.

of when his clothes are bathed in the blood of powerful fighters and soldiers along his path to his goal, and to a world of bliss for rules to not be followed by such a class of martial artists,

Throwing their yuan away in such a cocky mentality, the master of the black rabbit clan knew how to take care of threats like that, even if it means having shards of a enemy's sword getting scattered in the ground of class, even if it means protecting ilyang, even if it means protecting Y/N from the dangers of this world, the dangers of China and therefore their path to power and vengeance leading to destruction and wars,even if it means the essence of insanity scraped his soul.

yuan rattled on his hand as he surveyed the remaining gifts to buy for Y/N. It was pure ruby earrings. It was a beautiful chinese dress, it was perfumes of the finest caliber of scents. there are so many options.

A flashback banged into his head. He suddenly remembered what you like, and what you like mattered to him even if he's a cold-blooded killer with an aura called the definition of danger.

"I actually like blue earrings, I like the way they shine, and they look like the ocean to me? Don't you agree?"

he came inside the shop where the earrings were stored at, there were many shades of color, blue, green, white, black, gray, orange. the blue one on the side caught his blood red eyes.

the beautiful earrings looking into his eyes were called.

The forbidden city of the ocean, it all spelled out in Chinese, and a rare Chinese ink to make it stand out more. he picked them up in slight awe. thinking: Would they look good on her? a voice interrupted his thought process. it was a man in the first desk.

with an angry look on why he dared touch a fine piece of jewelry, wearing his hands like an illuminating necklace, jaha questioned in his ordinary sass.

"What the fuck are you looking at?"

"You're touching a rich peice of jewelry? If you aren't going to pay for that, then get the hell out of my shop?"

he picked up the jewelry anyway and walked up to him. The intimidation scared the man that insulted a master terrified him to the brink. like it went through his thick skull. a large amount of yuan slammed onto the desk.

"I need to pay for this."

"First of all, you don't come up to my shop like that sir, most people treat the jewelry with respect."

It was at this point that this man was pushing him to the brim, even the vein on his forehead shown it as a sign to stop talking before death kisses him in the face into the afterlife. the man hesitated on spitting out the next words that will spill in the next second.

and if he did, then he had a 30 chance to be alive. His red eyes took his mind into a terrified panic. his words spit out orchestras of fear.

"FINE. IT'S FREE. TAKE IT. JUST DONT HURT ME.."

his sweat soak his armpits, the filling shit of his system kept pouring down out of fear of whoever this man is.

"W-who are you?"

his footsteps walked to the door, and jaha didn't want to speak to him any longer after his terrified voice almost gave him a nearing headache. He looked at the real price of the earrings.

"Hmm..50,000 yuan."

he went to a place he knew you would be at, since that's a place that stored the most memories of you inside that insane head. It was raining blossoms.

Unleash your inner demon when the legendary Akuma joins the Street Fighter 6 roster starting on May 22. Dropping right alongside Akuma are three significant new updates:

Fight with style when Outfit 3 becomes available for all Year 1 Characters, including Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma. Year 1 Ultimate Pass owners will automatically receive these including their colors 1-10 on May 22.

The highly anticipated battle balance updates are coming to the game. We’ll have more details to share about this in the upcoming weeks.

The newest stage in Street Fighter 6, Enma’s Hollow, where Akuma resides to continue his hellbent training has been revealed. Year 1 Ultimate Pass owners will automatically receive this stage on May 22.

Akuma drops straight into the action across all three Street Fighter 6 game modes, including World Tour where you can learn more about his story, Battle Hub where you can apply his moves to your own avatar, as well as the classic Fighting Ground experience. Check out his throwback Outfit 2 style as well, inspired by his debut look in Super Street Fighter II Turbo.

Now on to a sample of some of his exhilarating and demonic moves:

Gou Hadoken – Akuma’s infamous fireball is back and can be charged up to blast a “red fireball” that gives him more options on hit or block.

Ashura Senku – Like his previous iterations, Akuma uses Ashura Senku to glide on the battlefield cloaked in shadows.

Adamant Flame – One of Akuma’s new moves, where he performs a forward thrust engulfed in flames. This move is useful in combos and for exploiting vulnerable opponents due to its long reach.

Messatsu Gohado – Akuma’s Level 1 Super Art where he fires a highly concentrated ball of Satsui no Hado.

Empyrean’s End – Akuma’s Level 2 Super Art where he turns the Satsui no Hado into a powerful flame and ignites it within the opponent.

Sip of Calamity – Akuma’s first Level 3 Super Art where he throws opponents on the ground face-first and follows up with a single devastating blow.

Shun Goku Satsu or “Raging Demon” – This second Level 3 Super Art can only be performed when his Vitality is low enough for a Critical Art and can be used to end combos. This time, he allows you to see what happens during the one second worth of nightmares.

Ok so, with the Tekken 8 Closed Network Test now concluded, I'd like to share a few thoughts.

The game looks great, I love the new redesigns, I love the new animations and the fact that they got the entire cast to rerecord their battle grunts and win / pre battle quotes, it was especially weird to have certain characters use voice lines from different actors, some of whom weren't even speaking the same language 🤣

The redesigns are almost exclusively great so far, but I do hope we get alternate costumes. Yeah customization is there but I don't really care to have Nina in jeans and cowboy boots or Jin in platinum blond pigtails like... A lot of fighting games just have a palette swap as the second costume and call it a day, but from the very beginning all the way up to Tekken 6, Tekken had an alternate outfit for every single character. Not only that, but it was usually a more "casual" outfit too like, Kazuya's Tekken 1 1P was his karate gi pants but his 2P was a tank top and jeans. Asuka's Tekken 5 1P was her Aikido uniform and her 2P was her trademark shorts and tank top and so on. Tekken 7 originally went for the 2P palette swap, but at some point they added extra costumes, including classic looks, via an update, and I hope they are there from the start this time.

I played almost exclusively as Nina because she's been my main since 2005, with a little Jun, a little Xiaoyu and a little Jin thrown in. I also tried Lili's, Hwoarang's and Asuka's combo trials (nice that they FINALLY added combo trials, I don't know what took them so long lol) I gotta say it's extremely satisfying to see Harada CONSTANTLY shading Street Fighter on Twitter by saying that the base roster will feature a lot more fighters than our competitors an also Mortal Kombat by saying that they are focusing on legacy fighters before they even start considering guests. Like. That's a ball move and a huge reassurance for the fans. I also know it's in good faith and no harm is meant towards Capcom or Netherrealm but he's right and he should say it!

If there's one thing I hope they copy off of Capcom is Word Tour mode. Yeah NetherRealm Studios' cinematic story mode is fine... I guess... But World Tour mode is the best single player mode ever featured in a fighting game and Namco even have their own blueprint in the form of Tekken Force. We're probably still getting a cinematic-style story but there's still hope for Tekken 9, or maybe even a smaller-scale Tekken Force return, in the style of Tekken 4 or sth.

Arcade Mode needs a proper reintroduction as well, in Tekken 6 you only got 4 battles and you were done and in Tekken 7 you straight up got nothing at all out of Arcade mode and character endings were instead for the base game characters who weren't prominently featured in the cinematic story and you got them after a single battle... Very underwhelming.

Also hoping other "missing" modes like Team Battle return and maybe Tekken Bowl will be included from the get go this time? I've also had this request forever but I'd love to see 1P Vs. Com or Com Vs. Com fights be included in offline versus. Literally every other fighting game has it except Tekken and Virtua Fighter and I can't tell why. It shouldn't be hard to implement and honestly sometimes it's just fun to pick characters, costumes and stage and just fight it out with the computer, as a break from online grinding and whatnot.

Now, as for the battle system itself... It's lots of fun! There's tons of stuff going on at all times but it feels great to experience and it's not really overwhelming or anything. It's cute that they have included an "easy mode" for new players to ease themselves in the fun. I'm not a master player by any means but I've had almost two decades of experience in Tekken and legacy skill does play a big role in the Tekken meta so it's an interesting way to even out the playing field. Interestingly, they also seem to have simplified some of the more complicated commands like, I can pull off all of Nina's combo throws now with a total of like, four button presses at most? Crazy! The heat system feels a bit weird at first but it's a huge asset once you get into it which doesn't take all that long anyway.

Overall I am very satisfied with what I got to play and I feel like Tekken 8 is gonna be another huge chapter in Tekken's history as well as the FGC's as a whole and I honestly cannot wait! Hopefully I will have moved out of Greece by the time it's out because my internet connection was killing me 😭🤣

I also better see miss Anna and Christie in the game or else I'm rioting.

Ikr?! I totally rolled my eyes when I found out it's another damn port. Honestly, ports should be FREE. Anything that is a port from a MUCH OLDER game should be ABSOLUTELY FREE. The STORE should be reserved for BRAND NEW ITEMS ONLY. At first I thought Kazuya's Tek6 outfit was a brand new remake and sb pointed out it's not, they just upscaled the textures - I wasn't certain. But now seeing this? I'm sure EVERYTHING in the store is recycled materials! That means this game is making ppl pay $5 for items that are from games that are 9 YEARS - 15 YEARS OLD!! Tekken 6 is from nearly two decade agos and they are literally taking clothes from it and RESELLING THEM?! It's absolute madness! All the outfits currently in the store cost $50 to get them all if my math is correct. (Maybe even more if they think they can charge more for the "cyber pack") Which may not be as pricey as Mortal Kombat 1's prices... but the thing is. I'm PRETTY SURE everything in MK1 is new content. Meanwhile, Tekken 8 is charging us these prices for ports! And most of the ports don't even look good at that! I'm sure if I could get a closer look of the "cyber" outfits from more than just a mere thumbnail, I could see the low quality TK7 textures on them!

No wonder why Bamco is taking down any MODS videos! Because modders show they can do what Bamco is selling! for free! That even a normal person who doesn't work for Bamco can just take an outfit from a game and port it to another!!!

Like the prob with the store is that... I wouldn't even complain about it as much if the items were cheaper ($0.99 to $1.99) and if they weren't ALL LITERALLY PORTS! It also really kills the excitement because fans probs wanna see the really old classic outfits (from Tek1-Tek5) remade into glorious high definition, but now we know we'll probably never get those. At least not for a long, long, long time. Tek6, Tag 2, and Tek7 has quite a bit they can port before we see new stuff coming around. Just. My gosh!

And even with the Battle ("Fight") pass, maybe I'd be less critical of it, too if there were just more exciting items available. If maybe in the free pass, the free players (technically not free players because EVERYONE paid for this game) could get at least one or two clothing options! But nope! Looks like free players can't even get ONE clothing option in the start! That's crazy!

Idc what anyone says; this isn't to maintain servers, this is just straight up Greed. Not only greed, but laziness too. You gotta pick your poison; Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat has crazy prices but original outfits. Tekken has lower prices, but they're all recycled from older games. Cannot believe this...
