UPDATED LOOKS 3

Cheatsy koopa: The sneakiest out of the koopalings, the Emperor of Eavesdropping, the king of getting out of chores, Cheatsy Koopa! He still does his job of spying on the Mario brothers with his little group of friends that consist of Pyre a splorch from the sprixie kingdom who also happens to be his boyfriend, a dud bobomb , a Boo named casp and a lone shyguy. He has a thing for roller skating and recently took up lava boarding which pure helps with the latter. Him and bigmouth still go out to ruins in Darkland to find artifacts that might help in Kingdads schemes. He's sustained quiet a few scars over the years from the different failed plans,

Pyre: A splorch that came to darkland with Jack and a multitude of POW-ups through a glitched clear pipe from the sprixie kingdom. Not much is known about him other than he is made of lava and eats magic. He had a bit of an incident at Boom and Kooky's wedding. The larger gaunt almost skeletal like form is when his core hungers for magic. He spent a month before the wedding stewing in his own hunger before it took hold. But he's chill now thanks to both jack and Cheatsy who managed to get him calm before he did more damage to the castle. As of late he'd gone for a more shirtless look, Cheatsy calls him his lava lamp. He tends to take his core out when he and Cheatsy go lava boarding, he's the one pulling the board while he swims through the lava.

Hop Koopa: the youngest out of the Brat pack being just a few minutes younger than his brother Hip, he is already taller than his brother despite being almost identical as young children. Now a teen he hopes to find his own identity, he now has an interest in science thanks to a certain science project he and hip made in school because of this, hop hangs out with Kooky in his lab as his older brothers assistant. Hop is also trans (ftm) and came out to his family at 10. As kooky once answered, "due to dimensional similarities, Hop will probably be as tall as me before he's 20" well said prediction is coming true, minus the added height of his palm tree he's already 5'9" and still growing. He still trains his chain chomps with his brother Hip.

Hip Koopa: the shortest and one of the younger kids out of the family, Hip has a lovely for the circus and all things fun and silly, he also loves winter and has a bad habit of donning a penguin suit POW-up and pelting unsuspecting passerby with snowballs...friend or foe, family or random folks, nobody is safe from this. The music from snow mountain seems to follow him when he gets like this. Fun fact thanks to Cheatsy, both him and Hop know how to drive a real-world car, and have visited Miami in the past .....they don't know nothing about a body. But due to this Hip has grown to love go-kart races and wants to compete now that he's older. He also has a new little chomp he's training, flurry is his name.

Here comes a somewhat highly contested subject (for me specifically jdbcjds)

I interpret the Sprixie Kingdom as being in a separate dimension from the Mushroom Kingdom because of the way the intro scene of 3D World as well as the credits shows everyone traveling through some kind of sparkly pink expanse to get there. I think the “pink void” is the area that warp pipes travel through before coming out the other side (so like a pocket dimension). But that doesn’t mean the Sprixie Kingdom can’t be in it’s own dimension as well.

I am gonna keep that as a headcanon, but I guess I just feel somewhat insecure about it since a lot of people say the clear pipe just took them to another part of the already existing world. I think most warp pipes don’t travel through the pink void. They’re instantaneous, like opening a door; you go in and come right out without much time having passed. But maybe some do, if it travels a reeeeally far distance, like across oceans. Basically, short-ish distances are instantaneous and really long distances will take several seconds or minutes as you go through the pink void.

Hello hello everyone I'm back at it again at Krispy Kreme- I mean my Mariolore AU silliness and I have with me today the Lineage of the Queens of the Mushroom Kingdom. The line of Queens will range from Dove all the way into the future/modern era to the princess that will one day become Queen. Without further ado let us begin with Queen Dove herself :3

Queen Dove was indeed "Beloved by the Realm" as her gentle spirit had managed to tame her husband King Boo known as the "Tyrant King". Dove was also a devoted mother to her and Boo's two children Theresa and Haru, and a loving wife for many years up until King Boo's death. After her husband died, the Queen continued to rule over the Mushroom Kingdom for 3 more years until she abdicated the throne to her oldest child and only daughter Theresa, retiring and becoming the Dowager Queen as she moved into the Summer Castle to live out the rest of her life...

Queen Theresa the Mad ascended to the throne at 21 years old when her mother Queen Dove abdicated the throne to her. The first few years of her reign were peaceful until Theresa eventually suffered from a mental breakdown due to a build up of paranoia, believing that her younger brother Haru was planning to take her throne for himself, which caused her to start attacking some of the other kingdoms in the region. Eventually she did get overthrown by Haru who used the power of the Seven Stars to seal her away into a painting, but not before she used the last of her dark magic to place a curse on her brother and his bloodline, uttering the words "No more sons shall inherit the throne forevermore..."

Queen Papaya of the Sprixies was the daughter of Queen Green Sprixie, and when Prince Haru of the Mushroom Kingdom arrived at her home to seek asylum after Queen Theresa's failed attempt to kill him, she convinced her mother to let him stay. During the time the prince stayed at the Sprixie Kingdom, he and Papaya fell in love before Haru eventually set off to take back the Mushroom Kingdom once his older sister started getting out of control with her destruction. After the war ended and Haru was crowned King, Papaya and her Sprixie servants left the Sprixie Kingdom and used their magic to restore the region back to life when it was on the brink of ruin. As soon as she reunited with the newly crowned King of the Mushroom Kingdom, Haru asked her to marry him and become his Queen, to which she accepted. Their marriage would unite the Mushroom and Sprixie Kingdoms together, and during her reign as Queen, Papaya oversaw that the Sprixies had a good relationship with the Toads and Humans of the Mushroom Kingdom...

Queen Momo the Precious would be the first Queen to start the lineage of female monarchs, as she was the daughter of King Haru and Queen Papaya. As a child Momo learned how to dance and her love for dancing grew with her into adulthood, and even as Queen she continued to dance at festivals, parties, and other events. Momo adored her subjects just as much as they loved her, and her reign over the Mushroom Kingdom would be known as a Golden Age. Under Momo's rule, peace, prosperity, and the people all flourished in the Mushroom Kingdom...

Queen Sora the Warrior was the daughter of Queen Momo and feared by those who dared to threaten the Mushroom Kingdom. As a young child she watched her father train the knights and guards that defended her home, and after many pleas to join her father decided to let her train as a knight. Even after many years of training Sora would still continue to spar with the knights as Queen, and soon her skills were put to the test when a rouge faction of Koopas started attacking the Mushroom Kingdom due to a disagreement over territory. Enemies would flee upon seeing the massive sword Sora carried with her, and during the battle that becoming the turning point only one Koopa mage was brave enough to try to defeat the Warrior Queen, but fate had their plans as during their fight Queen Sora and the Koopa Mage fell in love. And from their love the Queen and the Mage combined their swordsmanship and magic to end the fighting once and for all...

Queen Elemora the Majestic was the half human half koopa daughter born from the union of her parents, her mother being Queen Sora and her father a Koopa Mage. Elemora proved to be her father's daughter as she inherited his koopa magic, and just like her mother learned how to be a warrior from her father, Elemora learned from her father on how to use her koopa magic. When the half koopa queen was crowned, she wasted no time in making sure that the relationship between the Mushroom and Koopa Kingdom was restored to its greatness as the previous war had caused it to deteriorate. Even though majority saw Elemora as a human, there would be times when those unlucky enough would bear witness to her koopa side...

Queen Seraphina the Songstress was the daughter of Queen Elemora, and just like the title she held Seraphina's singing was the most beautiful thing that the Mushroom Kingdom and the entire region could hear for thousands of miles. As her singing started as a child, Seraphina would continue to carry a tune into her adulthood and when she became Queen she sought to utilize her voice to the fullest extent. Seraphina would then oversee the building of the Sparkle Theater as one of her first acts of Queen, and once it opened many came far and war to see the Queen of the Mushroom Kingdom perform as the first Opera Singer in the Sparkle Theater. After performing many solo acts, she eventually began to perform duets with her husband, a Luma being who was banished after he began to become more human...

Queen Morgana the Devoted is the daughter of Queen Seraphina, and since she was a teenager Morgana loved being social with everyone she came across. The young queen's marriage to a newly promoted captain boosted morale for the citizens, as the his business in trading overseas flourished which led to the economy of the Mushroom Kingdom being nearly restored to it's former glory. But tragedy would strike as shortly after the couple's daughter was born, a dangerous storm had struck the king's ship while he was out at sea, and the captain went down with his ship after making sure his crew had safely made it out. Queen Morgana would grieve over the loss of her beloved husband along with the Mushroom Kingdom, and she would make sure that she put her young infant daughter who needed her the most first above all else. As her daughter grew into a child, Morgana began a relationship with a Koopa diplomat who had been friends with her late husband, and eventually the two of them wed. When her daughter grew older and married her own husband, Morgana abdicated the throne to her and retired to the Summer Castle as the Dowager Queen with her second husband. The Dowager Queen and her current husband still reside in the Summer Castle, as they grow older together...

Queen Freya the Wonder is the daughter of Queen Morgana and the current ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom as we enter the modern era. As fate would have it, Freya happened to posses the powers of the Oracle and this meant that she was also the new Queen of the Celestial Kingdom, causing for the island that had been neutral for centuries to now become allied with the Mushroom Kingdom. With Freya's powers as an Oracle proving to be the strongest out of all previous rulers of the Celestial Kingdom, the Seven Stars themselves descended onto the Mushroom Kingdom so they could teach the young "Queen of Queens" on how to use her powers to better the world itself. Queen Freya continues to rule over the Mushroom Kingdom and uses her powers to protect it along with the other kingdoms...

Princess Aurora "Peach" Toadstool is the young 14 year old daughter of Queen Freya, and is an eager little princess that has a heart for animals and adventure. She still has a lot to learn on what it truly means to be a Queen of the Mushroom Kingdom, but nonetheless she continues to grow everyday and run around the castle she calls home under the watchful eyes of her parents and the castle staff...

And that concludes the Lineage of the Queens of the Mushroom Kingdom! To wrap it all up I also have a family tree that I created so it can help everyone remember who's the daughter of who. It also includes the names of the kings that the queens married :D (If you guys are having trouble reading my handwriting in some certain areas then just let me know and I can type it out so it's easier-)

Ok here you all go, some more background information I thought up for the High Seas AU!!!

-Instead of being planets, Palette Prime, Terra Flora etc. are all isolated continents or large islands in one big world dominated by ocean. They have established trade with each other but it takes a fairly long time to traverse between them by sea, so travel for leisure is minimal. Barrendale Mesa is still in its bountiful untouched form; in fact, it hasn't even been discovered by sapient life yet and thus has no name.

-The Mushroom Kingdom exists on a larger continent along with the Darklands, Beanbean Kingdom, Flower Kingdom, Sprixie Kingdom and some others. It's pretty distant from what is known as the "Rabbid Archipelago" where Rabbids are the dominant species, and the two civilizations have only recently discovered each other. Donkey Kong Island is between the two.

-Wardenry has not been established as an institution in the Rabbid Archipelago.

-Sweetlopek felt the calling to be a sailor (specifically a ship's carpenter) instead of a lumberjack, and thus left his home island when he came of age.

-Woodrow's childhood was much the same as we know it. However, he left Palette Prime as a young man and took to sea. This was largely for two reasons: 1) his best friend had already departed, leaving him far less incentive to stay, and 2) as stated above, the position of warden did not exist, so he didn't have that to strive for. Once he realized his poetry would never be appreciated by the locals, and without his friend to back him up, he decided to leave, despite his strong love of his home island.

-Woodrow's main reason for going to sea was the hope of running into his best friend again. Being an honest and honorable sort, be started out serving on merchant ships. However, eventually his curse would always be discovered, and he was chased off of multiple crews, even being marooned once. Turns out the discipline on merchant ships is strict, and the captains were none too keen on finding out one of their own was a disaster poet who threatened the merchandise. It was not a pleasant era of his life.

-It was then that he turned to piracy, ironically finding buccaneer types more forgiving. By a stroke of good luck (perhaps after writing a limerick?) Woodrow was eventually able to find Sweets serving on a rival crew, and his old friend convinced his current captain to give Woodrow a chance (keeping his affliction a secret still, of course).

-Neither Woodrow nor Sweetlopek knew the Dryad of Palette Prime beyond legend. Since Sweets left when he was fairly young, and Woodrow never became warden, the mysterious spirit never made herself known to them. Dryad, however, has taken to the sea on her own account. She is on a journey to meet with nature spirits and observe the biomes of other locations, both land and sea. But she also wants to get to know "normal Rabbids" better and thus has disguised herself as one, going by the name Darya.

-In the regular canon, Dryad would find interplanetary travel difficult. As a nature spirit, she struggles with the sterility of a spaceship and the vacuum of space surrounding her, in addition to being intimately tied to her planet. The mechanics of this AU would make travel easier and more pleasant for her, so travel she does. At least temporarily. (The Spellbound Woods will be ok without her for a little while.)

-Orion is the captain of a regular ship, possibly even the ship Woodrow/Sweetlopek/Darya are on, but I haven't decided.

-Augie has the potential to be a lot more important in this AU; I'm thinking he's generally seen as the god of the whole sea and Perfectus is the god of the land.

-Bea is possibly another siren with this whole underseas drama going on with Phantom??

-Momma is also a captain, of a ship she designed herself, known for its astonishing technological advancement (she and her vessel/crew are very steampunky).

-I wanted to keep Phantom feeling mysterious and primal, so I haven't thought much about how he came to be a siren-monster or if he was just born that way. Someone else can feel free to run with it.

Are there any consistent qualifications in Marioverse monarchies as to what qualifies as a prince/princess or a king/queen since we usually always see only one or the other per kingdom? Feels like a case by case basis, but I wonder if there’s any consistency we can gather.

King is the easiest to define. It seems that any adult male ruler of a territory or race is considered a king. We see this with King Bowser, Ōsama, King K. Rool, the Kings of the Mushroom World, King Fret, King Nimbus, King Mousta, King Bask, King Kaliente, King Boo, King Bob-omb, etc.

Prince is also quite easy. It seems that immature male progeny of previous rulers as well as the male relatives of living rulers, regardless of age, are considered princes. For the former, we can see young Prince Bowser from the Yoshi’s Island games and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time as an example, while for the latter there’s Prince Bowser Jr., Prince Peasley, Prince Pine, Prince Pikante and Prince Mallow. Princes will become Kings once they’ve reached adulthood and their parents die or abdicate the throne. The odd one out here would be Prince Dreambert, but we don’t know if he’s technically reached adulthood or if he had living parents before Antasma’s attack on the Pi’illo Kingdom, so I think this definition still stands.

As for princesses and queens, things are a little more tricky. We know that immature female progeny of the previous rulers as well as the female relatives of living rulers, regardless of age, are considered princesses, as we see with Baby Peach, Baby Daisy and Baby Rosalina, as well as Princess Shokora, Princess Shroob and Princess Rosalina. However, we’ve seen adult female rulers referred to as both princesses and queens, so where is the line drawn between one or the other?

Well, I think it has to do with marriage. Adult female rulers who have never been married are relatively consistently referred to as princesses. We see this with Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Princess Eclair, (the older) Princess Shroob, the Sprixie Princesses and even Princess Lipid.

However, the games seem to imply that through marriage female rulers become queens:

“Tatanga hypnotized the people of all the kingdoms so that he could control them in any way he liked. In this way he took over Sarasaland. Now, he wants to marry Princess Daisy of Sarasaland and make her his queen.”

“Yes...? What is it, dear?... WHAT?! You're asking ME to...? Gracious! You're serious, aren't you? Why, I don't know what to say! Dear me............ I've made my decision... At the request of the Prince, I agree to become his queen. (Queen... Valentina...Ooh! It just makes me SHIVER!!) Well, that's that! Back to your business, everyone!”

This idea aligns with Queen Nimbus, Queen Jaydes and Queen B., who are married to kings, and is further supported by characters such as Queen Bean, Queen Squirpina XIV or Queen Croacus II, who were likely married at one point based on the presence of their children.

However, it doesn’t seem to be quite as foolproof. There’s the Shadow Queen, Banana Queen, Honey Queen, Queen Merelda and Madame Mirage who, while we don’t know their marital statuses, likely fall outside of this definition. There are workarounds, of course. It’s possible that some of these women are or were married off-screen or are self-proclaimed queens. It’s also possible that the Queen definition extends cover to the “mother” of a race, though that’s all getting a bit deeper into speculation.

These remain my best guesses with the current information we have.

I've been on tumblr hiatus and I apologize for whoever still looks at my tweets like damn!!! Hi!!!!!

I made a Mario oc like a few weeks ago!! Her name is Queen Nymphia, and she is the Queen of the sprixie kingdom and the mother of the sprixie princesses from Super Mario 3D World!!

Shes a very kind woman who cherishes all kinds of life and believes that everyone deserves some love and compassion in their life!! Will I be using her for self insert stuff? Yes. Definitely. 💖

(Hayao x Kumiko During Ancient Times - The Immortal Couple)

Here are the "former" human forms of Emperor Hayao and Empress Kumiko of Ancient Nippai/Sammer Kingdom.

After Lord Arceus/THE DEITY chose this married royal couple and gave them "immortality", the two eventually became the "Legendary Pure Crystal Immortals" who temporarily defeated Clydon the fallen star-spirit.

Let's just say these immortals have been around for 10,000 years, up to the present time period in my Mario/(Crossover) Fanfic.

The Emperor/(Hayao)/Master R.O.B.'s origins

The emperor was already in charge of the R.O.B.s' Gyrotronic Civilization, the emperor made a wish to Unarpan for a machine that can transform his body into a hyper-advanced cybernetic body. The emperor then used his hyper-advanced cybernetic body to transform himself into a powerful R.O.B. that is imbued with holy star-spirit magic and has the capability to fight the dakumata. This is how Master R.O.B./(Hayao) came to be.

The Empress/(Kumiko)/Queen Fairy's origins

The empress met an old Maiden of the Cosmos from outer space who gave the empress knowledge on star-spirit magic and how to create little winged beings by tying magic paper strips onto flowers to create fairies and sprixies. The empress used a powerful irreversible star-spirit magic spell to transform herself into a powerful Fairy, this is how the Queen Fairy/(Kumiko) came to be. She was also known as the "Long-Lost Monarch".

(Hayao x Kumiko During Present Times - Married for 10,000 Years)

Hayao the R.O.B. and Kumiko the Fairy's Destiny

Master R.O.B. and the Queen Fairy were then given pure-crystal powers from Lord Arceus and both became the Pure-Crystal Immortals. They encased Clydon in Spirit-Crystal.

After Hayao and Kumiko encased Clydon in pure spirit crystal and stopped the dakumata, Hayao and Kumiko turned the Pure Crystal Rod into the "Crystal Shard" from Kirby 64.

Despite Clydon being physically encased in crystal, he still had a non-physical form that was still a danger in Mario's World during ancient times... (aka, Zero/0-Two). Due to this danger, Kumiko and the fairies needed to take the "Crystal Shard" with them and leave Mario's World in ancient times. Kumiko and the fairies eventually found "Ripple Star" and made it their home...

Hayao and his R.O.B.s on the other hand had stayed in Mario's World for the past 10,000 years, up to the present times in order to fight evil empires and demonic dakumata. This is how Hayao became known as "The Guardian Lord of the World".

Master R.O.B. and Queen Fairy have telepathically communicated to one another from the long distance between Mario's world and Ripple Star to keep in touch for 10,000 years. During the 10,000 years before the present times, Hayao and a few R.O.B.s would occasionally visit Ripple Star (via spacecraft) to see if Kumiko and the Fairies were doing okay. (This is how Hayao and Kumiko maintained their marital relationship.)

The model sheets continue! This time, I have done the kingdom's mascots:

Farai, Exalia's mascot (a frog);

Adelaide, Aquata's mascot (an axolotl);

Tahiya, Saaharia's mascot (a tiger);

Pyotr, Aurora's mascot (a polar bear);

Pangfua, Tekna's mascot (a red panda);

Momochi, Arcadia's mascot (a monkey);

Rhea, Fortuna's mascot (a rabbit);

Lux, Geodia's mascot (a lion).

Unlike the japanese mascots you see IRL (Kumamon, Funyassi, Chii-tan, etc...), they aren't people in giant stuffy costumes; instead, they're actual pint-sized like an average magical girl's mascot.

Their designs were inspired by Animal Crossing villagers, Care Bears, baby pokémon, Digimon, Tamagotchi, the Sprixie Princesses and Pretty Cure's fairies.

Coming up next are Gehenna's mascots (Third Reset Incubator and Spore Incubator)!

All About Aviaria and Its People

Time to infodump about my fanmade Mario kingdom!

This is a sketch I did that sort of shows you how I imagine Princess Harpy’s kingdom would look. I’m gonna tell you what each numbered location is in the fake Mario Wiki page for it.

Ruler: Princess Harpy Inhabitants: Aviarians, Aquatic Aviarians, Sprixies, Psychic Humans First Appearance: Mario & Luigi: Birds of Prey*

Aviaria is a kingdom that is an ally of the Mushroom Kingdom and the main setting of Mario & Luigi: Birds of Prey. Like the Beanbean Kingdom and Pi’illo Island, its locations are named based on the theme of the kingdom, its theme being flight. The kingdom features many mountains, hills, slopes and valleys. The name itself is based on the words “avian” and “aviary.”

Government Aviaria is a monarchy ruled by Princess Harpy. Harpy is assisted by her advisor, Crowena.

Locations 1. Hoverside- A large hill town where many Aviarians live that is not a far distance away from Eagle’s Nest Castle. 2. Mall Landing- A popular shopping mall in Hoverside. 3. Hover Hills- The green, rolling hills outside of Hoverside. 4. Eagle’s Nest Castle- Situated on a very tall hill, this is the home of Harpy, Crowena and others. The way the castle is structured and designed makes it resemble a large birdhouse. 5. Swoop Valley- A deep valley between Hover Hills, Aero Heights and Cicada Creek. 6. Hunter Hideout- A cavern in the valley. Cassie and her gang live together here. 7. Glide River- A winding river that flows through the valley. 8. Cicada Creek- A dense forest where Glide River splits out, populated by the type of Aviarians that are humanoid insects. It is home to Peony. 9. Flutter Rock- A large rock on a stony beach that is an entrance to a large cave. It is part of a long connecting network of caves that run all across the kingdom. 10. Aero Heights- A large, craggy mountain range with peaks that reach the highest altitudes in the kingdom. There is a large waterfall here that is part of Glide River. 11. Port Windborne- A harbor town located in the western part of the kingdom. Aquatic Aviarians live here. 12. Sweeping Shore- The shoreline all around Port Windborne. 13. Soaring Sea- The malevolent sea that must be sailed through in order to get to Ryukyu Island. 14. Ryukyu Island- A mysterious island just a few miles away from the Aviarian mainland. 15. Sprixie Village- A Sprixie immigrant community in the west of the kingdom.

Currency Aviaria uses quetzal coins as its form of currency. Ten quetzal coins is equivalent to one Mushroom Kingdom coin. Princess Harpy has a little trouble keeping up with the current exchange rate.

Trivia - As there is a community of Sprixies living in Aviaria, the Sprixie Kingdom from Super Mario 3D World exists in the Mario & Luigi canon. - Ryukyu Island is named after the Ryukyu Islands of Japan, which have interesting species of birds living there. - Soaring Sea is actually an inlet, and Ryukyu Island is near the middle of said inlet.

Princess Harpy is an eagle Aviarian. She is a very courageous and bold ruler. She has made it her top priority to protect everyone from anything that may threaten them. She always has her eyes out for danger, and she encourages her people to keep their homes heavily fortified. She is defensive of herself; if she ever were captured, she'd try to look for a way to get herself out. The best thing about Harpy is that she will never, ever give up on anyone. While Harpy is very brave, she is a bit too aggressive and assertive. She is also quite stubborn about some things, and she can be too tenacious. Harpy has powerful senses of sight and hearing, and she's nimble. She is very good at focusing on a task, and she is also an excellent flyer. When it comes to her physical weaknesses, she is sensitive to pollen, and she can lose control of her senses if there is too much happening.

Crowena is a crow Aviarian, and in addition to being Harpy's royal advisor, she also acts as a spy. She is smart, clever, crafty and a little playful. She has been known to never run away from any kind of challenge, and she's also very sneaky. She enjoys being fashionable; she often stops by Mall Landing to see what they've got on their catalog since it changes often. Crowena is good at adapting to new conditions and uses her surroundings to her advantage. She has a bit of a thirst for drama, so she can sometimes say something that causes an argument. Crowena is good at flying, but she considers herself to be better at using her trusty knife. She uses it to cut through rope, leaves and other things. She has great expertise in stealth and espionage, and she's good at covering her tracks. She has sensitive skin, and she's intolerant to gluten. She also has some seasonal allergies.

Peony is a mayfly Aviarian who lives in Cicada Creek. He is a curious and feisty mayfly who is fairly level-headed and good at noticing things. He seems to know his way around Cicada Creek very well, so if you ever decide to stop by, he'll be more than happy to show you around. He is very easily bored and loves it whenever something interesting is happening, but he doesn't like to get dirty. He likes to walk around instead of fly because even though his wings could use that exercise, he views walking as an "everyday hiking trip." Though Peony knows right from wrong pretty well, he is a little naive. He is sort of high-strung, tending to argue with people over little problems. He likes to eat, and he emotionally eats to cope with boredom. While Peony has good navigation skills, his body is very delicate; he can be reckless and unaware of this fact. Peony has actually heard of the Mario bros. and can't get enough of hearing about their adventures. They partially inspire Peony to be adventurous himself. Peony would love to meet the Mario bros. and would be honored to help them get around Cicada Creek.

Cassie is a cassowary Aviarian and the leader of a delinquent gang. She is a brash and rowdy bird who is best known for her very mischievous nature. While she is confident and snarky, Cassie is also reclusive, preferring to do things on her own or with just her team. Cassie is defensive of herself, which is why she always carries her spear around with her. Her defensiveness may have something to do with the easily unnoticeable scars on her neck. Cassie's biggest weakness is her terrible judgement; she does not follow any sort of moral code. Her prankish nature becomes troublesome to her and other people, especially to Princess Harpy. Cassie can't fly, but she has good spearmanship and is an excellent jumper. She also moves around very fast.

Lambert is a lammergeier, or bearded vulture. He is a huge carnivore, and he even eats the bones. He is the most stylish and fancy, and he will typically announce when someone has been pranked by the gang. He is an artist who will experiment with design and color, and he is a bit of a trickster. He will trick you into giving him the last pizza slice. Instead of sarcasm, Lambert will usually act dramatic. He is a little pretentious, but he does have a pretty good memory.

Barrel is a barred owl who is the best at sneaking, but he's not as good as Crowena. When going out, he likes to come prepared; he always keeps his stake on him just in case he needs to poke a hole in the ground. Barrel's fingernails and toenails work like talons, but he does not like his toenails being claws, so he trims them. He has a good sense of touch; touching soft or fluffy things make him happy. Because of that, he has a bunch of plush toys. He has a powerful voice and is great at singing.

Gilbert is a seagull, specifically a European herring gull. Gilbert is pretty loud, and he is the best at stealing things. He will go out of his way to catch anything he sees. Gilbert is quite greedy and aggressive, but he cares about his friends. While Lambert tries to swindle you into giving him the last pizza slice, Gilbert will outright steal it. Gilbert is toilet-trained, but if he needs to go badly enough, he'll go wherever is the most convenient for him. If something goes wrong, Gilbert will alert the group by blowing his airhorn. He often daydreams of going sailing.

The delinquents camp out together in Hunter Hideout, a cavern in Swoop Valley that's close to Aero Heights. To the other delinquents, it's like a clubhouse, but to Cassie, it's a permanent home. The gang comes from different places and different age groups. Lambert is in his 30s, Cassie is in her 20s, Barrel is about 18 or 19, and Gilbert is around 13 or 14. They are all united under one thing: mischief. They like to mess with people simply because they think it's fun. Princess Harpy knows them all well, and they especially like to play with her. She and Crowena chase after them whenever they spot them causing trouble. No one knows for sure why this group loves making mischief so much. Something could be up with Cassie or the entire group, but they’ve never revealed their pasts to anyone.

Georgette is a cockatoo who sticks her hair up like a cockatoo's feathers do. Blush is a flamingo who wears a boa around her neck. They’re super, super chatty and outgoing, and they run a fashion store in Mall Landing. You can go to their store to buy gear.

Siobhan is a swan who also works at the mall. She is prideful, graceful, and loves to show off her catalog to her customers. You can go to her store to buy items.

Shiver is a snowy owl who lives in Aero Heights. They are mostly up during the day, but they are a huge night owl. They love to hop around the mountains searching for treasure, if they didn't stay up so late that they're all sleepy the next day. She is actually quite a genius, as she has built her own treasure detector. Shiver is non-binary and gender questioning, and she uses she/they.

Selene is a sleek luna moth who works as the Black Witch’s apprentice. Peony seems to be very interested in her job, but she thinks he’s being nosy.

The Black Witch is, as her name suggests, a black witch moth. She lives very close to Flutter Rock. She can conjure up items that will help you in battle. She can also predict events that happen around Aviaria.

Luna lives in Port Windborne. She is a calm loon who is skilled in making and using hammers. So, if you visit her house, she can upgrade your hammers to make them stronger, like the Hammerhead Bros. do in Superstar Saga.

The Muffin Puffin also lives in Port Windborne. He bakes muffins that will fully restore your HP and BP. He is often seen walking around the town, going out of his way to sell his muffins. So, if you want to buy some healing muffins from him, you’ll have to stop him while he’s walking around.

Aviarians are a species native to the kingdom of Aviaria, an ally to the Mushroom Kingdom. They appear to be humanoid representations of different birds, different insects and flying fish. They vary in height, shape, type of wings and hair color. They seem to be a very energetic people, and they value security of their areas.

Locations like Hoverside are populated by smaller bird and flying animal humanoids like pigeons, sparrows, finches, and flying squirrels. Colorful and elegant birds like cockatoos, swans and flamingoes are employees at Mall Landing. The areas outside of it, like Swoop Valley and Aero Heights, are home to larger birds and birds of prey, like hawks, falcons, condors and vultures. Bat humanoids dwell within in the network of caverns. The woods of Cicada Creek are where the insect humanoids live, such as moths, dragonflies, cicadas, ladybugs and mayflies.

Aquatic Aviarians are Aviarians that are more partial to swimming than flying. Their ears are a little bit rounder. Most of them live in Port Windborne and Sweeping Shore. Some are flightless birds and waterfowl like penguins, puffins, loons and ducks. Others are flying fish. Luna and the Muffin Puffin are notable Aquatic Aviarians with their bird counterparts being a loon and a puffin respectively.

Opal von Mongoletto and her pet snow leopard Dalmatian are two of the only inhabitants of Ryukyu Island. Not much is known about the island and no one has visited it. The swirls on Opal’s cheeks indicate that she is a psychic human, able to see into people’s memories and make herself spiritually present in other locations. Opal has a nervous, reclusive nature. She has tried to socialize with the creatures on the island, but it didn't work out that much. Opal still has an adventurous and wild personality. Athletics are her main passion; if you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up, she'll tell you she wants to be a gymnast. She, her grandmother (Sapphire) and her mother (Mindy) were on the run from hunters, but they couldn’t make it through a terrible tsunami. Similar to Peach in “Super Princess Peach,” Opal uses her parasol like a weapon, and also a parachute.

Mindy is a little overprotective, but she is generally kind and caring, and she just wants to keep her family safe. Sapphire is just as caring, but she is very funny and upbeat. Jasper is cautious, patient, and a little bit adventurous; he is doing whatever it takes to find his family, going wherever they might be.

One day when Opal was young, Jasper accidentally revealed his swirls to the public, causing everybody to freak out and want to track down psychic humans like him. Because this caused their mountain home, the Facet Alps, to not be safe anymore, Opal and her family were forced to leave, but Jasper ran away with unknown whereabouts now.

Sapphire’s hair is green because that’s a thing that happens with this psychic human species. If they have a child, a certain gemstone is bestowed upon the child, and they are named after this gemstone. When the people get old, their hair turns the color of the gemstone their child was given. Because Moldavite is forest green, Sapphire’s hair is now that color. Her parents’ hair are now blue. Mindy and Jasper’s hair will turn pretty rainbow colors when they get older since Opal’s gemstone has those colors. Psychic people who decide not to have children will have their hair turn gray like our hair does.

Metro Mania Monday: Ok so since your local idiot (me) forgot to fucking grab pictures of this track and upload it to his phone before he left for college I don't have any original photos, so this is from the wiki. Regardless, this week's showcase will be the Super Bell Subway from Mario Kart 8!

Skilled racers need to get from one track to another, and the premier way to get there is the Super Bell Subway. Named after the Super Bell powerup from the Sprixie Kingdom, the network stretches far and wide to connect all the race courses across the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond. Some races even take place within the subway tunnels themselves, but remember, your insurance will not cover collisions with subway cars.

Bigmouth Morton Koopa Jr: he's put on quite a bit of muscle since he last posted a picture of himself, he's also done some traveling to other worlds though the warp pipes Kooky has managed to open (his tank being a guess to where) he's still the big talker he's always been but now he talks about the places he's seen, he may or may not have said he met someone but that's just something he said off handed to Cheatsy once.

Kiara Piper "Kootie pie" O'Koopa: the only princess of darkland and no she's not into Millie Vanillie since it was found out they were fakes, she and pom are still dating and have been enjoying time together on some mini vacations to places like Desert land or one of those weird places Bigmouth talked about. She's still a brat but she's owning it and loving the newer punk look.

Victor Ludwig "Kooky" von Koopa: The mad genius of darkland and sole member of his family to actually get hitched, his husband is his childhood friend BOOM BOOM. Hehas a tail from a little incident that happened one Halloween night that lasted til Christmas day where he was a (his actual Koopa form from the show) strange creature that still registered as a Koopa, he managed to turn back but with the addition of a long tail that acts as a third arm. He, Boom, and Jack recently managed to get a certain power up machine he had as a wip fixed up after Bully fucked it up and became younger as a result. With science and a shit ton of magic he got his brother back to the age he was when the accident happened 19.....now Vic is the eldest of the family. He still messes around with POW-UP abilities to attempt what that necklace he made for king dad could do, oh and he still cultivates piranha plants. Little Audrey is now his oldest plant and has power that rivals Mama fire plant

Royce Bully Koopa: Bully is back baby! Admittedly he's now 4 years younger than Vic and 2 years younger than Kootie pie, he's chill about it tho. Cause now he can go back to beating up plumbers without them calling him kiddo. Alongside with added height and power, he had unlocked some late Lakitu ability early on after his incident with being able to sit and steer clouds around, he's worked on some of that and now he has full mobility when he's in the air, his preferred weapon next to his wand is his mother's fishing rod he managed to find. He and Jack had become fast friends in the last 3 years, the motleybossblob bringing bully to the sprixie kingdom to see the sights and to cause a little trouble, Royce may or may not have a crush on him. Bully still has his now fully grown pet Yoshi, Dion has proven himself to be just as much of a bully as bully to the Yoshi those pain in the drain plumbers have. He lets Jr ride on his back since bully can't.

I’m jumping full fledged into the idea that the Giga Bells are a godly power and I’m gonna add onto that that they are the reason why anything that enters the Sprixie Dimension takes on a catlike appearance. I was considering the possibility that the catlike minions seen in Bowser’s Fury were Sprixie equivalents to the main dimension’s minions, but I like this idea more that they actually are the main dimension minions brought there by Bowser that were simply given cat features by the power of the Giga Bells.

Also might redesign the Sprixie Princesses to go with that…

Actually, wait, maybe Lake Lapcat is where the god power is concentrated the strongest so that’s why only the creatures that live there are catlike. The Sprixie Kingdom is just far enough away that the things living there aren’t as heavily affected. Yeah, okay, so the Sprixie Princesses are fine as they are, as well as all the bosses and stuff.

Hello hello I'm back at it again at Krispy Kreme, and today I will be showcasing the Kings/Husbandos of my Mariolore AU :3

Without further ado let us begin!

Note: This is a VERY long post because it has more lore than the Mariolore series itself, so I decided to give you a heads up before you go down the rabbit hole-

We must start off of course with the "Tyrant King" himself, who would become a healed sovereign in the years after he married his beloved Queen Dove. It did take some time for King Boo's addiction to alcohol to lessen, but slowly but surely he began to drink more water instead of the strong wine he was used to having at every moment. The Mushroom Kingdom would bear witness to the King's improvement from being a tyrant to a benefactor as he made a full recovery from his alcoholism thanks to not only his wife, but also the two children that the couple had together. The marriage of King Boo and Queen Dove would last for 18 years, which was the remaining years of his life as his alcoholism had done an irreversible amount of damage to his body. As he reached the age of 58, King Boo's failing health would finally take a toll on him as he would pass away in his sleep, leaving his 55 year old wife heartbroken. His daughter Theresa, 18 years old when he passed, and his 14 year old Haru would both be extremely devastated, and it is said that the death of her father was a contributing factor to the mental breakdown Theresa would endure during her time as Queen...

King Haru would be known as the "Last Son of the Dynasty" as he was indeed the last King born in the royal family to ever rule over the Mushroom Kingdom, due to the curse that his older sister Queen Theresa the Mad placed before she was sealed away into a painting by Haru, using the power of the Seven Stars to bring an end to her reign of terror. After Haru was crowned King, his first act was to unite the Mushroom and Sprixie Kingdom together by taking the Sprixie Princess Papaya as his queen. King Haru proved himself to be one of the greatest Kings the Mushroom Kingdom ever had, and the surrounding kingdoms such as the now recognized Koopa Kingdom favored him as he established order and peace throughout the region. He proudly watched his daughter Momo grow up and when she became the age of 25, King Haru would abdicate the throne to her and retire from ruling, traveling with Queen Papaya back to her home of the Sprixie Kingdom and living out the rest of his years as Queen Momo would start the legendary lineage of the Mushroom Kingdom Queens...

King Kankitsurui the Knight would become the husband of Queen Momo and father of Queen Sora, first starting out in the Mushroom Kingdom court as a young boy training to be a knight. Kankitsurui and Momo would first meet as young children, but they would start their romantic relationship in their adulthood. When the couple's daughter Sora was born, Kankitsurui was just like every other protective dad and adored his daughter. When she first started pleading with him to let her train to become a knight, Kankitsurui was hesitant at first since he was worried that she could get hurt easily, but after Sora continued to beg her father he eventually relented and started training her himself. After many years of training and constant sparring, Kankitsurui would lose to his daughter in a match and decided that she was ready to take his place as the Mushroom Kingdom's greatest knight, letting her lead missions and commanding other knights. However the kingly knight had let his guard down during a mission that was supposed to be a meeting with a diplomat from the Koopa Kingdom to discuss the group of rouge Koopas that were starting to cause trouble, when he was suddenly ambushed and assassinated by the rouge group itself. His death sent shockwaves throughout the Mushroom and neighboring kingdoms, and Queen Momo died months later of a broken heart, leaving their daughter Sora to become the new Queen. Queen Sora would then start her campaign to avenge her father, and tales of how she hunted down the rouge Koopa group until they were eliminated are still told today...

King Kamezard was the Koopa Magician that would become the husband of Queen Sora and father of Queen Elemora. He was one of the members of the rouge Koopa tribe that opposed the rule of the Koopa King at the time, and his magic skills proved to be useful in helping the group cause chaos. After the assassination of King Kankitsurui took place, Kamezard and a few of his fellow Koopa realized that the leader of the group was actually a power hungry Koopa who wanted to overthrow the Koopa King and take the throne for himself, not caring whose blood was spilt in the process. Kamezard was the brave Koopa to volunteer to hold off Queen Sora when she launched a surprise attack so his fellow Koopas could escape, using the best of his magic to have the upper hand in the fight but was quickly outmatched by the Mushroom Kingdom Queen. Fate had other plans for the Koopa Magician as instead of killing him on the spot, Queen Sora took him as a prisoner of war and he wasted no time telling her the truth of what happened in the assassination of her father and the true intentions of the rouge Koopa leader. He would then accompany Sora to confront the leader of the rouge Koopa group and a battle ensued, and at the end the leader of the rouge koopas was executed by the sword of the Mushroom Kingdom Queen, which was enchanted by Kamezard's magic. To the surprise of everyone, Queen Sora took Kamezard as her husband, making him the new king of the Mushroom Kingdom despite the fact that he had been associated with the Koopa group that had taken out the previous king. A year later the couple welcomed their daughter Elemora into the world, and as she grew up and took an interest in learning her Koopa magic and heritage Kamezard was the one who taught her to hone her skills and control her emotions so she wouldn't accidentally switch to her Koopa form in moments of anger or excitement...

King Noale the Serenader was the man who Queen Elemora would choose as her husband and became the father of Queen Seraphina. Hailing from a small seaside town outside of the Mushroom Kingdom, the young commoner started to get attention from the nobles when his singing started to get popular, and soon his career as an opera singer took off. Nolae was invited to sing at many different events, gaining even more attention from ladies from every noble household who wished to have him as their husband. But one woman in particular would fall hard for him when he performed at the Mushroom Kingdom caste at the Harvest Ball, that woman being none other than Queen Elemora herself, making Nolae her husband after she promised that he could continue to sing as much as he pleased despite being the King. The king would still perform as an opera singer despite his high status, and he even got his daughter Seraphina interested in singing herself, teaching her how to carry the highest of tunes which was a skill that no other opera singer could master. Things would be blissful for the royal family for a few years until King Nolae suddenly fell ill with cancer, his body growing weaker by the day alongside his own voice before becoming bedridden. Despite Queen Elemora's attempts to try to heal her beloved husband with her Koopa magic, King Nolae's health continued to deteriorate until he eventually passed away, singing one final tune with his soft voice before taking his last breath. The Mushroom Kingdom and the surrounding kingdom grieved over the king's death alongside Queen Elemora and Princess Seraphina, but the mother and daughter kept the memory of the king alive by singing the same songs he would sing to them when he was still alive. After Seraphina became Queen, her first act was to return to her father's hometown by the seaside and ordered for the construction of the Sparkle Theater, dedicating it to her father's memory once it was completed...

King Chiko the Caretaker was the banished Luma being that would end up marrying Queen Seraphina and becoming the father of Queen Morgana. Originally from the Celestial Kingdom, Chiko was one of the many Luma beings who possessed a human follower and served the king/oracle until it became noticed that he was becoming more and more human as he expressed more emotions and began to object to policies that were imposed by the ruler. He was eventually banished by the oracle after being ostracized by the other Lumas, fleeing with some baby Lumas in tow to the Mushroom Kingdom and laid low for a good while, disguising himself as a human commoner. One fateful day however after some young Lumas begged their adoptive father to go to the Sparkle Theater, Chiko relented and snuck into the Theater while hiding his Luma children in his cloak. After witnessing the performance of Queen Seraphina's singing, Chiko was entranced with not only her voice but her beauty as well, leading him to follow her into the courtyard after the show to try to talk to her. Seraphina was able to see right through Chiko's commoner disguise, and offered to let him stay in the Mushroom Kingdom's castle with his adopted Luma children so they would be raised in a safe place, to which he gladly took since the shack he and the Lumas were living in wasn't the best place. Chiko and Seraphina developed a romantic relationship shortly after he moved in with his luma children, and about a year later the couple were wed with the banished Luma now becoming King of the Mushroom Kingdom. In the same year of their marriage, the couple's daughter Morgana was born and Chiko was just as a loving father to her like he was with his Luma children...

King Njord the Willing was the first husband of Queen Morgana and the father of Queen Freya, who unfortunately passed away shortly after Freya was born. A young sailor who became the captain of his own ship and crew during the times when the Mushroom Kingdom's economy had dwindled, and sailed around the world to other countries and kingdoms to establish trade so the economy could recover. He and Queen Morgana first met at a party celebrating the successful trade establishments with the other countries across the sea, and the two fell in love right away as they bonded over Njord's stories of his travels. The two got hitched before Njord embarked on a journey to deliver some rare goods to another kingdom, returning months later to reunite his wife and meet his newborn daughter Freya, who he adored with all his heart. However the king's life would be cut tragically short during what was supposed to be a routine trip to deliver trading imports, when a dangerous storm suddenly filled the skies and the oceans waters grew extremely violent. Things went bad to worse when the ship was then attacked by the monster that was thought to be a sailor's legend, the Gooper Blooper whose massive tentacles hit the ship and did a number of damage. King Njord made sure that all of his crew got off the rapidly sinking ship before drawing his blade and guns to fight the Gooper Blooper, and it would be a battle that he would lose as the monster took him out. News of the king's demise reached Queen Morgana, and her grief for her husband overtook the normally tranquil atmosphere of the castle, as it was also shared among the people and the other kingdoms. A few days later a search party managed to recover Njord's body from the ocean and brought it back to the Mushroom Kingdom so he could be buried. Njord's death would be the cause of why Queen Freya fears the ocean herself, sometimes even having nightmares about her father's demise to this very day...

King Ivone would be the Koopa Diplomat that Queen Morgana would take as her second husband, and become the step-father of Queen Freya. Ivone was a good friend of King Njord and Queen Morgana, sometimes going with Njord on his trade deliveries and had managed to visit a few different countries across the sea whenever he wasn't busy in the Koopa Kingdom with his job. When news of Njord's tragic death at sea reached Ivone, he was just as shocked alongside the entire region, and could only do his best to comfort Morgana and her infant daughter Freya in their time of immense grief. Ivone would continue to visit the Queen and her daughter after Njord's funeral, and eventually Queen Morgana would fall in love once with the Koopa Diplomat, knowing that her late husband wouldn't want her to grieve over his passing forever. Ivone would be the second Koopa in the history of the Mushroom Kingdom to become King, and the first King to be the second husband of a reigning Queen. Ivone proved to be a great step-father, adopting the young Princess Freya as his own daughter and watching her grow up to be the current Queen of the Mushroom King alongside his wife Morgana. After Freya got married to the Prince of the Toadstool Kingdom, Morgana would abdicate the throne to her and become the Dowager Queen, making her husband Ivone's title become the Dowager King Consort. The couple now growing older moved into the famous Summer Castle by the countryside and currently live there to this day, where they always spend their time together and become happy whenever their daughter Queen Freya and her family come to visit, devoting their attention especially on their beloved granddaughter Princess Aurora "Peach" Toadstool...

King Apricot Toadstool the Wise is the current King of the Mushroom Kingdom, the husband of Queen Freya and the father of Princess Aurora "Peach" Toadstool. Hailing from the Toadstool Kingdom that had once been considered the poorest kingdom in the region, Apricot comes from a long line of scholars and is descended from one of the male cousins of Princess Peach, who took the throne of the Toadstool Kingdom by force and made some major changes which would help bring the Toadstool Kingdom out of it's economic crisis many years ago. During the economic crisis of the Mushroom Kingdom during Queen Morgana's reign, the Toadstool Kingdom quickly became recognized as the wealthiest kingdom in the region, with people from all over flocking there in the hopes of having better lives and opportunities. The young Prince Apricot would first meet Princess Freya of the Mushroom Kingdom as teenagers when he and his parents came to visit and discuss a trade alliance with her parents, but he initially dismissed her as he was skeptical of her powers of being the Oracle of the Celestial Kingdom. Later on however, Apricot would slowly start to realize that he and Freya had a lot more in common than he initially thought and after apologizing to her the two became friends at first, up until their adulthood when they both confessed their romantic feelings for each other. After 3 years of courting each other, the couple got married and became the new King and Queen of the Mushroom Kingdom shortly after Morgana abdicated the throne to her daughter and retired to the Summer Castle with her husband Ivone. A year later after Freya and Apricot were wed they welcomed their daughter and the current princess of the Mushroom Kingdom into the world, naming her Aurora after the Aurora Borealis that shone throughout the sky on the night of her birth and giving her the nickname "Peach" as the young child's love for peaches was noticed by everyone in the castle. King Apricot and his wife have been married for 15 years so far, and their love is strong as their love for their daughter who will one day become the Queen of the Mushroom Kingdom. For now, Apricot is just like every other dad, being very protective of his young daughter and keeping a close eye on her alongside his wife and the castle staff as she runs around the castle and plays like every child would...
