Obsessed with the implications of Gortash reaching out to Durge to rob the Hall of Wonders together. I just imagine he was there on a date, maybe a charity event, and he should be paying attention to the noble that invited him, but he sees these stollen Bhaalian artifacts, and all he can think about for the rest of the night is Durge. Sure, maybe he saw it as an opportunity to earn their trust, and that’s how it functioned, but I also love the idea that he maybe was a bit more interested in them than he’d like to admit from the beginning.

next week is going to be insane bc like. two (2) pcs have more than 11 hit points. half the party have negative strength mods. the tank is a child. two pcs are like 2ft tall max. the ranger is rolling every attack with net 0 modifiers. the bards only offensive spell is sleep. brennan told them they would be slaughtered in open combat and their only advantage was surprise and they immediately started loudly arguing about their plan and then failed the group stealth check like GREAT season for little guy enjoyers TERRIBLE odds of making it thru ep 3 without a pc death
edit: ignore the rosamund thing I wrote this at 2am i forgot bow was dex I’m just silly goofy

someone needs to write an ACOTAR next Gen AU where Feyre and Rhysand adopt an Illyrian child and raise them side by side with Nyx only for that child to go forward and lead the Illyrian revolution against the Night Court. It would be tragic regardless of whether Nyx decided to side with his sibling or side with his parents + I just love the idea of the kids growing up and being like "hey our parents are shitty actually"

Also i can’t help but question (i literally dreamed this last night) : Would Rhysand ever let Cassian speak to Feyre the way he speaks to Nesta????!!!!!

You can all blame @animentality for this because their posts got me into durgetash (thank you!!!!!) and now I want to torture the villian couple. Probably won't make much sense because I drank enough caffeine to kill a horse today and my brain is going a million miles a second.
You know that scene where Orin shapeshifts into durge and tells them what she did to them? What if Gortash found out about it the same way and had Orin rub salt in the wound by then showing him the prayer for forgiveness?
She is cruel enough to do it and I can't think of any worse way to find out about what happened than for the attempted-murderer to shapeshift into their victim and describe what happened to them in explicit, gruesome detail. The attack itself, the tadpole, how they were abandoned to die alone like trash, how Gortash wasn't there to protect them, all of it. Only to show grieving Gortash the note

hello friends. despite my 9 million existing dreamling wips i'm feeling the need to branch out a bit for the sake of my mental variety. what pairing other than dreamling should i write a little something for? could be romantic or platonic
other way of phrasing i guess: any pairings you really want to see more fics for in the fandom?

Wait, does the cheating thing on the bond always works? bcs that would be kinda freaky for R!Dipper like imagine you get pinned down by someone in the corner of a br or smthng and then said person kissed you and proceeded to explode into red mist and you literally have no idea what happened.
Also, would the constellation mark be a "cursed" Mark over the years, like you would give birth to a baby and the doctor says "😟 I am so sorry ma'am,,, I'm afraid your baby has the Cipher Companion mark. ( could also be something equally as science-y like Ursa Major, Constellation Calamation, etc idk)" And you just burst into tears.
Would that mean that dipper would get into a special program(demon wrangling program or smthng, demonologist? Maybe)? Or would the parents hide it away hoping that Bill would never take their child away?
(Sorry this au is just very interesting to me,,,, I hope u get more motivation, keep writing author 💪)
These are all options! The fun part of reincarnation AU being left ambiguous is that technically any of them could happen.

Here’s a sort of…. Prompt? Headcanon? Idea?? For Danny Phantom.
Let’s go with the,, semi-fanon idea of cores. We see the Far Frozen with ice powers, with their whole little civilization. They are ALSO the only ghosts we see that have any medical knowledge.
So what if ghosts with ice cores had healing powers? Danny is very durable, but he also (probably) has advanced healing.
Idk, it’d be a fun possibility to explore Danny ‘plays as a tank in irl superheroics 4 times out of 5’ Phantom finding out he can heal people while doing a school-mandated cpr class.

my absolute fave thing to read in punkflower fics is lovesick puppy hobie brown
cool-as-a-cucumber hobie overthinking miles' every move, leaving lingering touches on him, longing glances thrown his way
certified BAMF hobie hanging by a doorway or window just a second too long before leaving miles
"skinny-hot" hobie refusing to believe someone as ✨️cool✨️ as miles would be into someone like him
badass punk hobie just yearning and pining and practically draping himself all over miles in desperate attempts but then pulling back all scared when anyone even hints that they should get together
god, i need pining lovesick loser hobie like AIR rn 😭

we need two total drama characters who are in a really tight alliance from the start. they always seem to know what the other's thinking, and they always talk things out before doing anything. during the finale, it's revealed the two were dating, and that's why they got along so well. they just acted like teammates instead of lovers so people wouldn't vote them off so quickly.

oh wow, great to find someone else enjoying Fairmeadow!! amazing art, and I've loved the worldbuilding/designs for Goma and the orcs.
Yay another Fairmeadow fan! A friend recently recommended it to me and I now recommend it to anyone else looking for good thoughtful fantasy webcomics that play with the genre's conventions. :3 Here's the pitch for the other people reading this post who haven't read Fairmeadow yet:
"An orcish warrior joins an isolated pacifist commune-- can she learn to live alongside those she swore to fight?"
Goma, a wayward Orcish soldier, finds herself in Fairmeadow, a commune of pacifists deep in the Cascadian wilderness. Isolation has allowed the commune to thrive in the shadow of a century-long war, but Goma’s arrival brings troubling reminders of the world outside to those who have settled there in search of respite. Fairmeadow’s enigmatic leader, Sanctuary, finds his utopian vision challenged as he struggles to keep the peace. Their self-sufficiency exists on thin margins - margins that threaten to break if Goma cannot learn to live alongside those who she has sworn to fight.
Fairmeadow is a post-epic fantasy drama inspired by the counter-cultural movements of the late 60’s, the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, and tabletop RPG’s. It’s about the collision of idealism against pragmatism, reckoning with the consequences of dropping out, and trying to make its readers want to go on a hike.
It also has gorgeous art, especially the landscapes/backgrounds! I've noticed a lot of webcomic artists are either good at drawing expressive characters or expressive backgrounds, but this artist is great at both. The worldbuilding is conveyed pretty subtly/naturally through dialogue, and the good writing in combination with the beautiful detailed background illustrations really helps sell the story's fantasy world as a 'real' place.
It's also pretty queer, though it's far more focused on 'the emotional and societal consequences of war' than on romance.
tl;dr: I know half of all fantasy webcomics try to do a 'what if the monsters/orcs were Sympathetic" storyline, but this is genuinely one of the best-written examples of that!
