Headcanons! Cult of the lamb
Leshy, Heket, Shamura, Kallamar, Narinder and The lamb.
General:
(this will be in follower form for the bishops)
Leshy
Dude is definetly not happy upon being indoctrinated into the cult.
Like first he gets killed by the lamb and NOW he has to follow their commands? Yeah to say the least he might be a bit annoyed at first.
When you first introduce yourself, he might be a little skeptical mainly because he was a bishop so what were you gonna do? Make fun of him? Pull a ''prank'' Just because you could?
Surprisingly, no! You were kind, just trying to get to know him better, and trying to get him to know the cult a little better.
He is forever greatful if you help him around the place.
Romantic:
If Leshy smells anything he thinks is something like a flower, then he might try and guide you towards them.
Mainly because it might be difficult picking them, when he cant see where the hell he's going.
9.5 / 10 hugs and you cant convince me otherwise.
He might be a bit moist because of all the stuff growing on him but he definetly smells nice. (or atleast i headcanon it as such).
He can and will be a living scarf if he REALLY craves your attention.
He will just snuggling up to you in the middle of whatever you were doing.
Heket
General:
Heket was not the happiest when she awoke in the lambs cult to say the least.
Allthough she was hungry, (cant blame her tbh).
When you approached her and offered her a couple of berries as a little welcome gift you definetly became one of her favorites.
She probably didn't even want to try and care for someone that isn't her siblings, at this point.
She especially appreceates if you basically speak for her, mainly because you can get to the point (and the words) alot faster then her.
Heket will do absolutely anything to avoid you or anyone else finding out anything that embarrases her that isnt known, like her losing to the lamb.
She enjoys all meals with either you or her siblings.
Romantic:
If you pick her up in front of others for no reason you are getting the frog equivilent of a bitch slap.
She does still have a reputation to uphold to prevent the followers from being too cruel even as a member of the cult.
Okay but seriously, Heket is basically your knight in shining armor.
Someones bothering you? just tell Heket, and she will take care of it.
She loves it when you bring her snakcs while waiting for a meal to be done whenever you cook.
Can and will pass you notes of what she wants you to say to someone, if she's really annoyed bcause of something they did.
Might be dissapointed if you rephrase it, to not be as rude as what she wrote.
Shamura
General:
Them always seeking knowledge was definetly one of the things that allowed you to bond with them quickly.
You telling them about things they might find interesting, and them sharing some of the things they remember.
Shamura likes it when you remind them of small things they might forget.
They also like sharing stories of their past with you, or giving you small gifts.
Not that they cant defend themselves against other cult members who might be looking for payback (they probably can't).
But you talking some sense into the cultists heads definetly does not go unoticed.
Romantic:
Shamura probably does like cuddles, especially when comforting them.
Might forget that you gave them something and try to return it to you.
If you remind them, then well they'll probably feel a bit ashamed that they forgot one of your gifts.
Please comfort Shamura if this happens.
(sorry i couldn't come up with much for them Shamura fans).
Kallamar
General:
Kallamar is a very nervous person so you showing them kindness was definetly unexpected.
you being nice? To him, and this quickly? You must be plotting something, he thought. but when you continuesly kept showing kindness and defended him from any rude cult members, he quickly realized that it wasn't the case.
he likes it alot when you reassure him that everythings gonna be fine. This man isn't much for standing up for himself. So if you do stand up for him, when other cultists come to do whatever they'd wanna do, he'll be very thankful.
If you went through the trouble of learning sign language just to communicate with him easilier his heart basically melts (not literally though).
Romantic:
He loves holding your hand. he likes the comfort of you being around.
expect him to be with you for a majority of the time.
will hug you whenever he feels nervous if he is allowed to (usually he is).
If he's trying to talk to you about something personal he'll usually use sign language with you when alone.
Kallamar spends so much time with you that half of his stuff is probably at your place.
Narinder
General:
He was not letting anyone even try and converse with him, after his indoctrination.
Not like people were gonna try anyway, considering what he tried to do.
But theres always someone different, and that just so happened to be you.
You kept trying to start a conversation, pestering him untill he finally tried to actually speak with you.
He wasn't very happy when he finally did start talking.
Despite that you just kept coming back.
Soon he actually started trying to engage the conversations, not really having much else to do.
Small conversation became a small friendship.
Soon Narinder found himself actively trying to spend time with you , and you were more then happy to do so.
Atleast the place wasn't as bad now for Narinder.
Romantic:
This dude is for close to anything but PDA (Public displays of affection).
Will purr if you hug him.
Narinder will never admit it but he's a total cuddle bug when in private.
Will do anything to prevent the lamb from finding out because he already knows he's gonna get teased for eternity the second they find out.
May or may not actively seek you out if he's getting really needy for some cuddles.
Will have orange cat level stupid behavior if he somehow gets his hands on catnip.
The lamb / Lambert.
General:
upon first meeting you, for whatever reason you were wandering around the lands of the old faith, they immidietly asked if you wanted to become part of their cult.
Likes your dedication to the crown and the cult
If you're especially dedicated to the cult then they might read your mind (and might find out you're in love but who knows).
Definetly tries to become closer with you.
They might ask if you wanna go on walks to take a break from all the work.
If you have any problems then the lamb will be willing to do just about anything to help (not everything though).
Romantic:
The lamb definetly makes the first move.
They shower you in gifts, kisses and cuddles whenever they're not busy.
Will do a marriage ritiual as soon as you feel comfortable with it.
Will spend lots of time with you in their free time.
You're probably being put in charge of taking care of things whenever they go on crusades, mainly because they trust you the most.
Doesn't have alot of time when they're not working but they spend almost every second that they're not busy beside you
Expect surprise hugs.
Lots and lots of surprise hugs.
Alot of people are probably both jealous and happy for you because of you being with the lamb.
The lamb does not care because they got the most wonderful person in the world as their partner aka you <3.

follower! bishops with an s/o that was apart of their cult but now runs a tea shop in the lambs cult?
Narinder
"Huh, so this is how my consort wastes the immortal life I've given them...by running a cutesy little tea shop in the cult of my traitorous vessel.."
"Good to see you, darling. Care for some chamomile tea?"
"....yes, I suppose I could indulge in some."
Narinder never thought this is what you've been up to after all this time: sitting in a cozy tent and selling specialty teas to followers who spent their hard-earned coin on refreshing drinks.
He thought you'd use your immortality necklace as a means of travelling the world and spreading his word after he was banished.
But nope. You settled down here with goals to live a comfortable life.
Although you didn't let him forget his cruelty to the other followers and Lamb..
"You wouldn't make me pay, would you?"
"I should charge you double...considering you threatened to kill all of us and Lamb once they've done your bidding." You reminded him, causing him to tense up.
"..I would have spared you-"
"Of course you say that now."
"S/o, please..I'm...."
"You're.....?"
"...I'm sorry." He finally relents.
".....you'll get this one for free, and maybe next time too if you show these followers more kindness." You kiss him on the cheek, passing a cup of tea into his paws.
He acts all huffy about being humbled by you, but from there on he's a little bit nicer to the other followers.
Leshy
You ran a small tea shop back in Darkwood. There was no ingredient that didn't make the perfect tea: peppermint, camelia, citrus..you name it.
After Leshy went blind, he got accustomed to every kind of smell from your shop. So when he stopped by, he always knew what you were brewing and would request some.
Of course, how could you deny him? Your beloved deserved a nice and calming drink in the chaos of his realm.
Unfortunately some of his fanatics obsessed with destruction began trashing your shop while you were out on a supply run.
You tried chasing them away, but got seriously wounded and had to flee for your life. Soon afterwards, Lamb found you and took you to their cult.
Leshy believed you to be dead.
So imagine his shock when he's indoctrinated and smells those familiar teas, immediately rushing to the source and discovering you're here and alive.
"S/o!! Where have you gone?! I thought I had lost you forever!!"
"It's okay, Leshy. I had to run away, but Lamb found me and saved my life. What ever happened to those raiders, by the way?"
"...I had them hung for your murder."
"....oh. Well, they're better off as bird food anyways. Come and sit, dear. I had to start back at square one, but I have every kind of tea flavor you love."
"Yes, of course....it's so good to hear your voice again, s/o."
"Likewise, Lesh."
Heket
Back in Anura, your tea shop helped her keep followers in line..specifically dissenters.
You used to slip mushrooms into teas and offer it as a "gift" to those who opposed her ruling.
And they'd do anything you wanted. Usually you left that to Heket, but as her consort you're allowed some liberties with brainwashed followers.
While she would make them eat dung or fast for the day, you'd tell them to go out into the world and advertise your tea shop to bring more people into the Anurian cult.
Or you'd make them do stupid things just for laughs.
When you were taken to Lamb's cult, Heket fully believed you were "stolen" and demanded your return, lest she starved their entire cult.
Of course, they don't. And she's killed, revived, defeated, and indoctrinated before she finally gets to see you again, promising they won't separate you anymore.
Obviously she's starving, but she beelines for you instead of the kitchen, wanting to see your face and make sure you were alright.
"Oh, my dearest Heket! How are you?"
"....hungry.....come with..."
You pout at her inability to talk for too long, though you join her for dinner, which she has with tea.
While it doesn't soothe any part of her severed vocal cords, it does help her calm down a lot.
Her only disappointment is that Lamb banned you from selling shroom-laced tea to their followers.
They weren't any fun.
Kallamar
Back in Anchordeep, you ran a small tea shop with drinks that could cure minor ailments, such as the common cold.
However, it often felt like Kallamar owned the shop instead.
You were only allowed to use specific ingredients and he told you to refuse any followers cursed with a sickness that he inflicted as punishment (indicated by a glowing green mark on their forehead).
You felt guilty every time you turned one away, but you had to listen to him..lest he shutdown your business.
It was a pain, and you couldn't take it anymore as you were losing more and more coin.
So when Lamb stopped by, you begged them to take you away from here.
Kallamar wasn't happy about that, putting all his focus into hindering Lamb's progress as he thinks they took you away.
Only when he becomes indoctrinated does he realize how wrong he was...
You had some rather venomous words for him. Words that you've been afraid to speak out loud when he was a godlike bishop.
Now you didn't have to hold back.
"I wanted Lamb to take me away, Kall. You were so controlling...trying to run my shop for me and make me refuse followers whose only crime was catching you on a bad day. You preached about how terrifying the Red Crown was, but honestly I was more afraid of you. I should refuse to serve you any of my healing teas so you know exactly how they felt."
He's 0.01 seconds away from having a breakdown, knowing you're absolutely right. You probably didn't love him anymore-
"...but I don't like watching others suffer when I know I can help them, even if they are scum. And part of me..still loves you. So if you wanna start over, we can. But only if you help me run this shop and listen to me."
"O-Of course! I'd love to assist you!" Kallamar managed to hold back the tears on this one, willing make up for how terrible he's been to you.
He lets you run the show, his only suggestion being that you adorned the shop's entrance with crystals to make it prettier (an idea that you accepted right away, showing you forgave him).
Shamura
They (quite literally) drop by your tea shop a lot, often surprising you.
But you enjoyed their company.
While having a drink, they'd chat with you about the latest knowledge they've discovered, some facts about war and ancient methods of combat, and/or how their day with their siblings went.
They could go on for hours, and you loved hearing it all.
They ensured your shop was well-protected, giving you some scorpions who acted like guard dogs.
When their brain got damaged by Narinder, they often forgot about your shop and stopped visiting as much.
You knew it wasn't their fault. But seeing them slowly start to neglect your feelings to yearn for their traitorous brother 24/7 hurt a lot. He's all they ever talked about anymore whenever they did remember to see you.
Eventually you angrily muttered how much you hated him...which was a huge mistake, as Shamura looked at you with the coldest eyes.
And commanded the scorpions to kill you.
You had to run away and were eventually saved by the Lamb.
With nothing but a small satchel of spare ingredients and tea bags with you, you started a new life in their cult, trying to accept that Shamura was too far gone to be helped.
Yet after they were indoctrinated, they immediately asked where you were and cried as you approached the pillory imprisoning them, believing you had been killed.
You realized they finally remembered you, and you wiped away their tears, offering them their favorite tea to jog their memories.
And at last...everything was alright again.

Just a little weirded out.
How could you possibly pet him?
Intrigued on how you would do it, he let you.
He almost immediately melted into your touch, and you could see his branches start to wiggle a bit.
Petting him on the top of his head, the 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 could noticably start to blink more.
The 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 also started to have a slight hint of red tinting the sides, almost as if it were blushing.
Petting him under his "chin", would cause him to completely melt in your hands.
Keep that in mind.
If he ever gets angry, well, too angry, just give him scritches and he's putty.
𝐇𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐭
Oddly, it flusters her the moment you bring it up.
She's hesitant, and her blush never leaves, but she allows you.
The 𝙔𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣'𝙨 eye seems to widen, and seems to stop blinking.
It also seems to get slightly redder at the sides.
Either way you pet her, whether on her head, or under her chin;
Heket seems to get extremely flustered, and her eyes seem to look anywhere but you.
Although, to you, it's obvious she loves it.
𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫
Kallamar immediately lets you.
As consistently anxious as he is, he trusts you.
Completely.
When you pet his head, the 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣'𝙨 eye softens, and it has a slight aura.
The aura seems as though it's smiling.
Kallamar loves it, he nestles into your touch, and peppers soft kisses to the inside of your forearm.
Well, if you're alone.
He has a facade to maintain, y'know?
If it's under the chin, he seems to act as Leshy does, melting into your touch and is basically putty.
𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚
You ask them while they're reading in their study.
Shamura cocks their head, but ultimately lets you.
"𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭?" They'll question, letting out a small chuckle.
Afterward, you pet them
And immediately, they're putty.
They actually fall over.
like onto the floor.
You both laugh about it, but you pet them again, and they just melt into the floor.
Needless to say, it's their weakness
(is it obvious that they're my favorite and the absolute love of my life)
𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫/𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐖𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬
He would immediately say no
A small hiss erupted from his throat as he said so.
After consistent and constant begging, be finally let you.
He purred, immediately.
His eyes became half-lidded as he nuzzled into your touch and nibbled at your hand lightly.
He'd lose his footing a few times, but unlike Shamura, he wouldn't fall onto the floor.
He would blink kind of like a frog, despite his half-lidded eyes.
𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐨
A gentle smile would appear across Haro's beak.
They would kneel down slightly, letting you pet them.
No matter which way you pet them:
Their feathers would fluff out.
And underneath their cloak, you could notice their wings start to flap slightly
Not enough to fly, let alone hover, but just flapping slightly.
"𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐰, 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐡? 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐞 𝐟'𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬." (Is this alright, love? I thank you for the affections.)
They would hum, gentle and spaced purrs erupting from them.
𝐌𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫
It would huff, shaking it's head.
Both in disappointment and flusteredness.
It would mostly be flustered by the fact that it... didn't have any clue what you were asking.
But inevitably, it would let you.
It would shift one of it's eyes into lips and softly peck your brow.
The petting wouldn't really affect them, but they did like it.
Considering that it was a form of affection, it obviously liked it.
Well, it only liked affection from you, which is a plus, i guess.

Leshy
🍃- Bush boy has very cold claws and a very warm body, but in a way that comfortably balances his temperature so that its neither too hot nor too cold, very pleasant to hug. His body's moss adds a bit of texture, and if you pull his chest close enough, he's a bit wet. He can't stay still for too long and gets distracted very easily, so he won't be able to hug for long.
🍃- I'd say he's a 7.4/10 hugger. Would've been a 10/10 if it weren't for a bit of moist leaves and for the fact that he can't stay still for too long.
Heket
🍄 - Heket is interesting. She's very cold and it takes her a while to warm up. But when she is warm, its a very nice and satisfactory hug! She engulfs you fully and it makes for a very good feeling! When anybody catches Heket hugging you, they don't. Mainly because you are technically one with the robes.
🍄 - 9/10 hugger!!!
Kallamar
🦋- HELP
🦋 - He's a very awkward hugger, takes him a bit for him to give into the idea of physical affection. What if he dose it wrong? What if it's not good? What if you're disappointed?! Very nervous about it. But when he does hug you, it's actually very nice! He's very jittery and shudders a little while hugging you, but he's working on it.
🦋 - 8.5/10
Shamura
🔮 - A distinguished gentleman. They act very professional when hugging somebody and seem very experienced and cautious as to not make the experience uncomfortable for you. Shamura feels a bit cold in some areas, but warm in others. It all blends together when hugging somebody and it makes for perfect body temperature and their claws wrap around you with care.
🔮 - 10/10 hugger. I take no negative feedback.
Narinder
💌 - Very soft and caring hugger! An embrace from Narinder feels warm and comfortable. His fur adds to the comfortability and makes for a very soft pillow/blanket. He also purrs when hugging somebody when he's relaxed enough and it's very soothing and puts you to sleep instantly.
💌 - 11/10 hugger.
Lambert
🗡 - Turns out, wool is extremely soft and cuddly and a gift from the heavens. Feels very nice and soft to the touch, if you squish the wool, it does a little bounce before returning to normal and it's addicting to just squeeze their wool.
🗡 - 9/10 hugger.

Bishops x follower!reader headcanons, with NSFW 🔞
Shamura
Depending on your height, they may insist on you sit on their shoulder when out of the temple. They aren’t undermining your capabilities to defend yourself, but they just worry about you. The upside is you get spoiled AND get to cuddle into Shamura’s shoulder all day, such a win.
Loves to tell you stories when you have trouble falling asleep. They are a master storyteller and can make the readings from the Old Faith’s scripture interest even the biggest of heretics. Their voice lulls you to sleep every time.
Likes to make sure all your needs are met. Whether it be that you have plenty of nice clean robes that match their own, having handmade meals for every meal, or even that you have a piece of jewelry that has their symbol on it, so others know that you are taken.
Kallamar
Being a swimmer is a MUST. So if you don’t know how to swim he will be more than happy to help. It is one of the biggest bonding activities you both do. You will free dive as far down as you can with Kallamar swimming down, collecting shells and bones from dead followers all the same.
He likes to hold you as you two dance. With your stature being smaller than his (even if you are a follower with a tall height) it just makes it easier for you both.
Even if you are out with him, he makes sure you have a weapon on you. What if he lost you and you got attacked, huh? It just gives him a piece of mind that you can defend yourself. It is one of the things he will not let slide.
Heket
She loves it when you collect flowers for her. It is just such a simple act of affection that she will never get over. You have tried to collect enough flowers to make her a flower crown that would fit her. You got a fourth of the way done before it got caught in the wind and blown away. The sentiment was still there, so it was ok in the end.
Heket likes to walk with you in the fall weather in Anura. The brisk morning air is always refreshing, and watching you jump into leaf piles whenever you pass one is also a big bonus.
Will commission matching jewelry for you both. Part of it is that is to show your strong emotional bonds and deep commitment to each other. The other part of it is to let new and current followers know that you are taken. Some still seem too dense to get the memo, but it has gotten better than it used to.
Leshy
Leshy has a mean game that you both play on the other followers. He asks you if you would like something, you say what you want, and he makes a random follower go and get it! Most of the time you have pity on the follower and ask for something easy to acquire. But if it is a follower known for being an ass to others or has wronged you in the past, you will ask for something impossible for their skill level to achieve. Coming back empty-handed results in an impromptu sacrifice.
You will get ahold of his leaves that shed from his body and make shawls for yourself. He thinks it is genuinely the cutest he has ever seen. He will collect the leaves he notices falling off and bring them to you so you can make more.
Will not admit it out load, but he has the biggest soft spot for you. Has the biggest crush on you even when you are together. He likes to find cool precious or semi-precious rocks for you. Is still kind shy about it, you blush and giggle every time he does it.

She isn’t mean in bed but won’t deny that she can be a bit of a bully. Heket can say the nicest things while forcing you to your knees with the best bedroom eyes you have ever seen.
Will call you a “Good little follower” if you are into that. But that also means you will be required to call her your Mistress. But that isn’t really a bad thing in your eyes.
Leshy
Leshy is a top. He has trouble being the bottom, due it his wandering hands that can’t stay to themselves. He also can’t help that you are so attractive to him! You are his kryptonite, in more ways than one. He is also a notorious tease in and out of bed.
His favorite place is in the baren parts of the Darkwood forest. He has an exhibitionist streak that simply can’t be ignored. He is a bit more primal due to him being a bit younger than his other siblings. So, he likes to be more in the open when you too are intimate.
Out of the current Bishops, definitely has a breeding kink. If you don’t want kids, he will respect that. but if you would at least roleplay it with him, he will be a goner. And if you do want kids? Be prepared, you are in for a ride.

Shamura was easy to describe as busy
They had a lot of work to attend to and had many people in their cult to look after.
You being one of them
Considering your neurodivergency, what you needed was different from the other followers.
It also took more of their time. But, they didn't want to deny you of what you needed. So they found a way to work you into their schedule.
This meant one on one time between the two of you, but if anything that made fulfilling your needs easier.
Whilst they attended to their business, they'd listen to you go on and on about whatever you were fixated on at that moment. Sometimes they weren't all to sure what you were talking about, but they still gave feedback in whatever way they could if you wanted it.
As you continue spending time with them, they'll bring up things you’ve mentioned to them before and ask questions about it.
They have an interest in gaining more knowledge and turns out, you were a valuable source. You were also willing to repeat yourself when they were having trouble processing or understanding what you were telling them
They enjoy the time they spend with you and they really do listen to what you have to say to the best of their ability.

Shamura had never seen such creature before like you are, a traveler with a necklace made of opal and jade. a lone traveler that never belonged in the lands of the old faith yet here you were, listening to the Bishop of war and violence tell you the ways of their conjoined religion with their brothers and sister.
You were, as I said, a traveler. you had a small backpack you brought everywhere as it had all the things you needed to set camp or hunt for food, maybe some gold as well, it always helped you out when you needed to pay for food.
You were a storyteller to all who you meet, always wanting to learn about everyone's opinions and points of view upon life and it's cycle. this included Shamura the wise.
at first it was nothing but Shamura being curious to hear of your stories and wanting to know why you were so invested in knowing the ways of The old faith.
but then it became more than that after more than a few years or so.
they hadn't truly meant to, it wasn't a part of them to be...in-love...with a mortal being such as you
but how could Shamura not fall for you? your voice were such as if it were from the great gods above them, your stories are wonderful and they always felt like they were truly there in the places you spoke of, your views upon life, your views upon the ways of The old faith, how you treated them more of a friend than god, you treated them as equal.
though, it wasn't very fun when they had to wait so long just for you to come back, when you had left for the first time they were extremely surprised you came back to tell more traveling stories from your journeys. the more you came and went, the more they pined for you.
I guess that's how you got them wrapped around your little paw
Shamura often looked into the future, only to see you both together for eternity, they were so thrilled to see that you may feel the same way about them very soon.
but, like they always were, they awaited for you to make a subtle move first, if not then they can do the first move to courting you.
For now they ask more of your stories, more of your time while you stay, more to spend with you. Shamura does not hide when they want to spoil you with riches and finest of silks, they wanted to show how much they appreciate you for understanding the wise god of war.

Cult of the Lamb x Tall! Reader who loves giving piggyback rides. Headcanons.
The Lamb, Narinder, Leshy, Heket, Shamura & Kallamar.
(this will be with the bishops in follower form because i dont really think it would be possible to pick them up in their bishop forms).
Narinder
General:
He had returned from a crusade with the lamb, his legs were hurting a bit, but he didn't pay much attention to it.
Someone else did though. He was not happy when he was lifted up into the air, out of nowhere.
Narinder can and will try anything to make you put him down, but upon realizing you're not putting him down, he accepts defeat.
When he suddenly gets put down on a bed, he realized that you probably somehow knew that his legs were hurting, and just wanted him to get some rest.
He will thank you, before asking you to leave.
Romantic:
Ngl he definetly enjoys the piggyback rides, as long as he initiates them.
If not then he will likely shout something along the lines of ''Put me down! I will not tolerate- oh its just you. Put me down please''.
Will purr lightly when recieving piggyback rides.
Can and will kiss the top of your head while up on your shoulders.
He enjoys cuddeling your back if you can't / dont want to have him up on your shoulders.
Loves the feeling of being big again. even if not as big as he used to be.
He will ask you to ensure that the lamb isnt around if you pick him up. He already got defeated by the lamb, he doesn't need to have them see him being given piggyback rides.
Heket
General:
I don't even know how you even picked her up in the first place to be honest.
Definetly enjoys them as long as people don't really see it.
Does kind of like it if you just carry her to the kitchen or just bring her food.
Also likes the feeling of being slightly bigger then everyone else, but the thought of how she looks alone is enough to turn her away for a majority of the time.
It reminds her of before she got slain by the lamb so she does find some joy in being carried around.
Romantic:
Heket does become a whole lot more fond of being given piggyback rides once you're in a relationship with her.
She will do anything to avoid you picking her up infront of the other ex-bishops (especially Leshy because he likely wont stop teasing her if he finds out).
Will probably ask you to take her somewhere if she doesn't feel like walking.
I feel like she has tried to jump onto your back atleast once.
She will kiss you one way or another whenever you pick her up.
Leshy
General:
I don't even know if its possible to give Leshy piggyback rides considering that, well, he's a worm.
He will try and wiggle out of your grasp if you pick him up.
Once he realizes that now he's far above everyone else, he feels happy, untill you or someone else, reminds him that he is currently being carried on your shoulders.
unless you hold him in place he can and will fall off you, unless he wraps around you like a scarf.
Romantic:
If you don't pick him up, he's definetly gonna try and slither onto you just so he can be on your shoulders, or somehwere else on you.
Makes for a very nice and alive scarf for the winter.
He will be cuddling you while he's wrapped around you in one way or another.
If its cold, he's basically glued to you.
He will ask you to just carry him sometimes.
Kallamar
General:
He is terrified when you first pick him up.
He's going through every single possibility as for why you would pick him up, and none of them are good.
Lowkey will have an anexiety attack if you don't tell him why you picked him up out of nowhere.
If you do it to him while he looks uncomfortable and bring him somewhere he can be alone for a bit he will probably try to thank you.
He is nervous so if you sense something is up and you go pick him up and take him somewhere to comfort him he's gonna be getting very close to you.
Romantic:
If he feels uncomfortable he can and will look for you.
You have become a safe space with the addition of maybe some cuddles.
Loves being picked up by you, makes him feel like he's not gonna get hurt.
Kallamar will hug you constantly while being given a piggyback ride.
He doesn't want to go back down once you pick him up, he has to though but he's not too happy about (too scared to really complain though).
if you're not gonna have him on your shoulders he'd likely prefer to be carried facing the front of you rather then your back. Mainly because he's scared he's gonna be attacked without you noticing.
Shamura
General:
Shamura was probably curious at first about what this ''piggyback ride'' thing you were talking about was.
Immidietly after you pick them up they get confused.
Just one moment ago you guys were talking, and now they're on your back.
Once you explain what piggyback rides are and why people give them, Shamura immidietly calms down, now knowing why they're currently on your back / shoulders.
Might rest their head on your head depending on how close they are to you and or if they're on your shoulders
Romantic:
Shamura will give you small kisses on top of your head whenever they're recieving piggyback rides.
If they have a feeling that they forgot that they needed to be somewhere, they'll go to you because you usually know.
If it wasn't for their injury, they would've given you piggyback rides as well.
They have read a book atleast once while sitting on your shoulders.
The Lamb / Lambert
General:
The Lamb had been on many crusades before, usually coming back un-injured.
Allthough one day in particular after a crusade they had gotten a somewhat bad leg injury.
You along with many other followers came up to see what was wrong. You being more then happy to carry your leader, gave the lamb a piggyback ride to the infirmary.
Once out of the infirmary they saw you carrying children around via piggyback rides as well
They definetly are curious as for why you're so willing to give people piggyback rides.
Will ask you about it one day, curious if you viewed them kind of like a child that day they had the leg injury.
Romantic:
The lamb loves recieving piggyback rides.
Whenever they return from a crusade uninjured and if nobody needs them at the moment, they will immidietly go to you, maybe ask you for a walk (mainly because if their legs get tired they can just ask for a piggyback ride).
Would give you piggyback rides if you werent as tall.
They love cuddling with you as you just walk around with them.
I imagine that their legs have been sore for some reason atleast once on a day where they had to perform a cermone so they just asked you if they could sit on your shoulders for the duration.

How about the bishops with a reader that has a ton of different scars? Some they tell stories about, about some they grumble and laugh, and when asked about some they avert their gaze while chuckling and change the subject?
Leshy
He can't really see the scars, but you allow him to feel them and trace his fingers over each one.
Of course, you'll be guiding his hand the entire time should he ask you to, sharing stories about them all the while.
Your tales vary from fights, attacks by Darkwood creatures, clumsy accidents, and a few near-death scenarios you barely got away from....all of which have happened on several missionaries you've undertaken in his name.
There are a few you'd rather not speak of for various reasons.
Including a nasty gash on your cheek that you got from one of the Lamb's attacks, not wanting him to know you failed to kill them.
Leshy 100% understands if you're uncomfortable with talking about specific ones.
He hates it when people ask about his eyes, so he gets it.
It's no different after you both end up in Lamb's cult, although it's easier for him to feel your scars and be closer to you.
If he overhears anybody talking shit about them, he's gonna throw hands (and by that, I mean he'll bite them).
Kallamar
Seeing one of his finest warriors marred with so many scars makes him proud..and yet worried at the same time.
Infection was certainly a risk, so he'll heal any ones that appear new should he deem it necessary.
Although he doesn't ask many questions about where they came from, he does like to remind you that his blessings are a privilege, thus he won't always do this for you every time you get injured.
It's his subtle way of saying "please take care of yourself" without saying it outright.
Never really hears the stories you tell to your fellow followers (not because he doesn't care...he's just deaf af).
But after you both arrive to Lamb's cult, he asks you about them and you explain where you got most of them from.
The coolest ones--at least in your opinion anyways--are the bites from wrestling rogue sharks, barracudas, etc. for food.
Kallamar is both amazed and slightly more terrified of you now.
He sometimes feels bad that he can't heal you up if you get a new scar, but you reassure him Lamb's been keeping you in good health.
Shamura
As a proud warrior of Silk Cradle (and one of Shamura's personal bodyguards), you had the scars to show your fighting experience.
Everything from bug bites to claw marks to flames--you had a lot of stories to share and did so willingly.
Especially to Shamura, although they tend to forget at times...
They even sometimes believe you had more scars than you did yesterday, asking if the one on your arm is new.
Or they may just stare...and you immediately see the concern in your lord's eyes.
But you gently remind them that it's been there for weeks.
It's no different after they arrive in Lamb's cult, with you following suit.
They forgot about every scar you had, and honestly looked a little scared when you approached them and they saw them all over your body.
Once they calm down, though, and get more settled into the cult, you'll reshare stories of your scars (or at least ones you're comfortable sharing), answering whatever questions they may have.
If they ever ask about one that's a particularly painful memory, you'll just subtly change the subject, insisting they rest their head.
Heket
She overheard her cultists listening to your stories about your scars during a feast, and she can't help but eavesdrop.
"And this one? From trying to help the Mushroomos carry a box of menticide mushrooms....it was a splinter." You shake your head as the people beside you laugh. "Embarrassing, I know."
While Heket never says anything outright about your scars, she's impressed that you're proud to wear them.
The one thing she doesn't know is that you've gotten into a fight with the Lamb themselves and miraculously survived.
However the resulting scar(s) weren't too pretty..and you weren't too proud of them, either.
So you tended to them in private, keeping them a secret as you didn't want her finding out you failed to kill that little sheep.
Only after you and her arrive to Lamb's cult do you finally tell her all about them, knowing she can't really retaliate now.
You decide to show her the scar(s)...
And to your surprise she's still able to eat her lunch while staring at them, intrigued.
She did always think you were a great fighter.

“I had a nightmare about you and wanted to make sure you were okay.” With Shamura? We know Shamura is something of a prophet, so they likely have dreams of the sort. What if they dreamt of their s/o dying(something brutal and painful of course lmao), and sought them out to make sure that it was only a dream? Jsut some nice hurt/comfort, if you will!

The bishops eyes slowly closed, drifting off into a much-needed slumber. The book they read slowly slipped from their slim phalanges and onto their lap. Their head rested back against their seat, comfortably laying against the soft velvet material of the cushion. The warm comfort of their library slowly faded from their mind, an image of you replacing it.
They smiled, a slightly toothy one at that. They happily walked toward you, slowly wrapping their arms around your waist and pulling you close. Soft kisses were peppered atop your head as they held you tight. Their grip was suddenly loosened, and they looked up in response.
Upon looking up, they saw their brother, standing directly above your gruesomely-torn-apart body. Your own blood spilled from your lips, the only remaining life you had left draining from your eyes. Narinder's chains caused slight bruising, his claws caused bloody scars. Your skin was tattered and torn (if you know that reference, I love you), ripped apart and shredded.
Shamura's eyes flooded with tears, their throat ached with screams that were never released. They breathed heavily, trying to run toward you, but their body wouldn't move. They screamed and yelled your name, but nothing was heard.
Their eyes soon fluttered open, their breaths heavy as they moved their head from side to side to assess where they were. They grabbed their book, closed it and set it on their desk. With a gentle sigh, they stood and head straight to your shared room.
Upon reaching the door, they hesitated. What if that wasn't a dream, and you really were dead? They shook their head, attempting to remove those thoughts from their mind as they opened the door, noticing your sleeping body.
A soft smile approached their lips as they walked ever closer to your side of the bed. They couldn't deny, they felt a little.. bad that they decided to wake you. But they went with it, gently tapping your shoulder, peppering soft kisses to your forehead.
A soft yawn escaped your lips as you awoke, your dreary eyes looking up at Shamura and smiling toward them. "You're finally coming to bed..?" A small laugh escaped you as you moved over, opening your arms for them. They nodded softly with a gentle laugh, laying next to you. "I had a nightmare, wanted to assure you were alright," They admitted, before looking down at you, noticing you had fallen back asleep before they could even finish their response.

When LESHY was first indoctrinated into the cult, he was given a tour around the cult, and found himself gaining an attraction toward you the moment he heard your sweet voice.
From that moment forward, he was going to observe you from the sidelines.
Leshy started frequently showing up randomly around you and settling by your side like a lap dog. It took a while for Leshy to actually find out he had a special feeling for you.
Leshy doesn't really know the difference between a platonic feeling and a romantic attraction, so he was incredibly puzzled when he started feeling his stomach flutter around you.
He asked the Lamb about his fondness toward you. They told Leshy that he should try giving you things and coming up to chat with you every once in a short while.
So Leshy did exactly that.
He had gathered some camellia flowers and assorted them into a bundle along with a few white daisies and pink roses and offered them to you.
Leshy wasn't going to admit it, but he was ridiculously nervous when he first decided to give you the bouquet of flowers.
He detected your happy and genuine reaction and his head felt unusually hot.
That's when he knew for sure about his adoration toward you.
It was love.
Soon enough, HEKET was indoctrinated, and she was skeptical of you for you when she first laid eyes on you.
She gave you occasional challenging glares, but she soon grew feelings for you as well.
Heket was your knight in shining armor and tackled absolutely anybody who treated you wrong, hurt you, or even as much as looked at you wrong.
She held your hand ALL the time and was permanently glued to your side, helping you reach things you may have not been able to reach before and scooping you up with her big arms of you felt tired of walking.
Leshy did NOT like this at all. Whenever he senses you and Heket together ( which is all of the time ) he grinds his teeth and growls angrily. Sometimes, he even walks up to Heket and gives her snarky comments. Other times when he's not so nearby, Leshy will give her little warnings.
At this point, it's full on war.
It doesn't get any better once KALLAMAR is indoctrinated. Heket and Leshy just become even more territorial of you. Kallamar notices this and stays away from you to avoid getting beaten to squid meat.
Even so, staying away didn't stop his growing love for you.
Kallamar started to give you little happy looks whenever you glanced at him or got close to him. He felt himself melt whenever you'd do the same to him and he had to contain his growing happiness whenever your hands touched.
When Heket and Leshy are away, Kallamar seizes his moment and hangs out around you and converses with you. He gets so nervous he has no idea what to do and he stutters and slurs his words awkwardly and can never meet your eyes.
He won't ever tell you that he's nervous around you since he still wants to keep his reputation as an ex-bishop ( it doesn't work since it's so god damn obvious that he's super insecure).
He's not going to be alive once Heket and Leshy come back.
And then SHAMURA comes in and things at least calm down a bit.
Heket and Leshy finally relax a bit whenever Shamuras around, and things seems less tense between the siblings. Everything seems so much calmer and quiet..
And then Shamura HAD to fall for you, because yes.
Shamura is probably the most sane one in the cult at the moment.
Shamura is a walking dictionary and treats you to tranquil walks around the cult, delicious berry tea, and therapy sessions.
Their crush on you may not be obvious to you, but to the siblings who have known Shamura their whole life, it's insanely obvious.
The siblings have a chaotic fight and they all settle down to set one challenge. To find a way to impress you into favoring one of them above the rest.
NARINDER comes in and all hell breaks loose.
He joins in on the fun because he figures it's just some stupid bet. And then he meets you for the first time and death be damned he fell so hard.
Narinder and his siblings literally fight to the death to impress you and trample above one another to prove themselves worthy of being your favorite.
The feline's tactic into making you love him is by making you quality time with him. I'm talking sight seeing in Darkwood, exploring Anura, and looking through the gorgeous things Anchordeep and Silk Cradle have to offer.
He gives you small explanations on the Old Faith before he was imprisoned and some information on the priceless artifacts of the four realms.
Narinder's even talks about his domain ( and exaggerates it to seem better in your head then it actually is )

Hi! Just found your HCs about the bishops x readers/ocs and I was wondering...
Could you do one with Shamura and a lamb who becomes their spouse? (Like before the whole phropecy and genocide thing)
And what would Shamura do after knowing the prophecy? Would they directly take action? Or would their siblings decide what to do without Shamura knowing (you know, to avoid them being hurt)?

So I have done something similar in the past, which can be found here part 1 but I can do a sad ending for it lol
Shamura with a lamb spouse when the lamb prophecy came out.
Warning: Sad
After learning the prophecy, Shamura would be solemn. Not wanting to kill their spouse of course, they love their little lamb! But at the same time, they have to keep the Old Faith's order in peace.
They wait a few days to think it over before deciding on two options. They can make a little realm that only Shamura can visit and keep you in there, well, forever (As far as they know at that time). Or if you refuse that, they will have to kill you outright. Both are grim, but I guess that's a risk of being romantic with gods. (At least they aren't Zeus lol)

A Short Cult Of The Lamb Fanfic - Takes Place After Narinder's exile
TW - Typical CoTl Violence, mention of scars, grief, angst, arugements

(Y/N) let out a quiet sigh as they watched the sun set on the water's horizon. Their robes waving in the wind, she didn't know why they still bothered to watch the sun set. Perhaps because they couldn't bring themselves to let go of the past. They used to watch the sun set with her siblings at every special occasion such as birthdays and holidays. Yet they now stood alone watching the sun go to rest as the moon's light and shadows began to incase the lands of the old faith for the night. (Y/N) looked at their paws that had been heavily scarred from trying to protect themself from Narinder's rage.
Despite his betrayal they still loved and missed him, he taught her how to lead her cult and be the bishop they are today. They were hurt, sad, angry at themself for not fighting harder to keep Narinder from his exile. Yet at the same time they were extremely angry at Narinder for his actions and leaving them behind with her siblings that slowly fell apart. They closed their eyes as they remembered back on the times when their family fell apart.
(Y/N) watched at Heket yelled at Kallamar for his cowardness they no longer had the energy to try to break the fight up as Heket probably would start an argument with them and bring up Narinder to get at her. However they got tired of listening to them bicker, "Will you two shut up? You fight more often then children." They snapped towards the two, "Cant go a single meeting without hearing you argue with someone Heket."
The frog glared at the cat bishop, "Oh? You finally deciding to speak up? I don't care about what you think, I am your older sister you shouldn't yell at me."
"I don't care if you are older then me, I am tired of you yelling at me for speaking against you. I try so hard to keep this family apart to keep the order in these lands and instead I get yelled at and have everything I do nit-picked by you guys."
Kallamar spoke as Leshy arrived to the temple, "Okay- Okay. Guys please stop arguing we need to not cause stress for Shamura from you guys fighting." After Kallamar was done speaking try to get his siblings to stop fighting Shamura had arrived.
"I apologize for my late arrival, I had gotten caught up with my followers needing something," The spider bishop said calmly.
(Y/N) opened their eyes and sighed sadly, arguments with their siblings didnt affect them that much but since that day Heket had started to compare them to Narinder. They didn't blame Heket's anger as they believe all their siblings still were hurt by Narinder's betrayal. However those words, "You're just as worthless as Narinder!" hurt. Felt like a stab wound right into the heart.
They let a tear fall down their fur, "Dammit, Why- Why did you betray us Narinder. I fear I'm going to be exiled because of your actions now. I keep being compared to you like they're expecting me to betray them as well." They snarled into the wind as if they expected a response from their brother. "I hope I never see you again,," Their voice breaking as they fell to their knees letting out quiet sobs.
"I hate you so much, I hate you for everything you've done to this family. You should of just killed me." They cried out as tears fell onto the grass. They took their crown off their head and held in their paws. Her vision blurry from tears but she could still make out the glow from the marking in the crown. "I'm not fit to be a leader, you knew that didn't you."
They wiped their tears with the sleeve of her robes letting out a shaky sigh as they put their crown back on. They stoop up and looked out at the land she swore to protect. She looked at the sky her mind wandering as she heard faint whispers repeating the words over and over, "You're just as worthless as Narinder!" She began to wonder if she was just like him, a monster that will soon break and hurt those she loved. She shook her head as she watched the son finally disappear, she hadn't slept much at all as she swore to protect the old faith at night after Narinder's betrayal. She walked off into the shadows as she began to walk through the lands to make sure everything was safe.
As her thoughts slowly ate her up as she walked through the realms of her siblings make sure the creatures and citizens slept peacefully and safely. After she had walked through each realm she went back to her realm. Her paws making quiet taps against the stone as she walked up the path to her chambers. They looked around and walked over to where she rested and sat down as she closed her eyes. As her hurt and anger ate her up and filled her heart with anger.
Those she loved all betrayed her and refused to trust her. She opened her eyes and saw her reflection in a shard of glass she had broke one night yet in anger that they had not bothered to pick up. Only then she realized how much she looked like Narinder, perhaps why they refused to trust her. She let out pained sobs after a moment of crying she looked at her paws once again, perhaps her family would be much happier if she was gone. She let out a sigh and decided to lay down and closed her eyes as she let sleep surround her in darkness to escape her pain
