I decided I wanted to draw more than just babies, So here's a small art dump

Baby beans. I decided on making Violet's hair curly, I wasn't satisfied with her hair before. I think she looks better with curly hair

Speaking of curly hair, I also gave Jill curly hair as well

Sk8er boy Johnny. Just vibing until Tank appears out of nowhere

Finally we got lil chibi Mr and Mrs Curious. I've seen people say that Glarn is the strict one because he had emotional issues, but I think it's Kitty

Glarn is pretty playful, while Kitty is serious for the most part. I do see him having emotional issues, especially from after his abduction and divorce. Probably messed with him in that department. I think he seems to have trouble opening up with his feelings. I think overall he tries to be a good dad with his kids(Especially with him giving up Lola and Chloe), but anything that involves feelings he's not good at. So with those he'd say "Go ask your mother about that one"

Kitty however is very emotional. She's a hotheaded woman, and would like to speak to your manager because her son asked for no pickles. Kitty's got claws, you don't wanna mess with her. Not going to lie, I would totally see her bragging about how successful her children are. This woman has four children that were doing well in school, and now in their careers. She had high expectations, her children needed be good at school. They come from a family of scientists, how could they fail. She obviously loves her kids, she just wants them to grow up well and not have any struggles later on in life. So she thinks that being strict can help. It's no wonder that pretty much all of them, except for Lazlo are pretty serious. I think maybe with Lazlo she toned it down a bit. As long as he was doing well in school, it was enough. Also can we talk about Glarn's clothes

They're the cund clothes. I think that Vidcund liked his dad's style, so he started dressing like him during high school. Also he thought it made him look hot, and getting the ladies(Circe)

I believe that one of the joys of looking for and buying mori clothes is to see how you could mix and match the piece you are about to buy with the pieces you already have in your closet!

31 isn't too old to have a theme party for your favorite fictional character

i didn't know what to do on my ~special day~ and so i basically asked myself "what would my good friend dean winchester do on his birthday?" and then i did just that. i listened to his music, i wore his clothes, had a bacon cheeseburger, went for a lil drive to check out a couple american classic cars, and finished the day playing pool with my friends and getting trashed at a bar. (not pictured: spent the equivalent of $5 on a pack of twizzlers at an import grocery store because i always wanted to try them and to me they're a typical american road trip snack lol)

#i didn't tell my friends it was a theme party because i felt silly but they didn't notice either because these are all things i enjoy anyway #i think this is part of why supernatural hit that spot in me (because i already listened to that music and liked cars before it)#and maybe that was why it felt like coming home in a way idk #this day was actually very much on brand for me even if it was a secret dean winchester theme party lol nobody batted an eye #He'S jUsT LiKe mE FoR rEaL #no but seriously i swear i was like this for years long before i even discovered the show #also can an american please let me know how much a pack of twizzlers is in the us? idk if $5 is a lot for y'all #in our currency it's insanely overpriced for candy but i get it because of the import tax and stuff #p #mp #supernatural #dean winchester #theme party #birthday #also obviously idk if i should mention this lol #these are my actual clothes and i wear them unironically and this is a part of my actual music collection #i didn't buy anything especially for this (except for the food i guess)

YIPPEEEEE 🎊#genuinely. i have been the same clothing size since i was about 12 #everything i wore in middle school i was still wearing at 20 #bc. clothes are expensive. so if i don't HAVE to replace them then why waste the money right #but now i officially cannot fit into all my old jeans which is SHOCKING to me #like I've literally had those jeans since the last time my dad painted the house. i still have the paint stains #that had to have been like 10 years ago now the paint is peeling Badly #and like. im finally a jeans size that i can actually find in stores #seriously finding 26w/28w jeans in physical stores where I'm actually allowed to try clothes on is a nightmare #but now I'm about 30w YIPPEEEEEE

So, I mentioned previously that Fashion Dreamer represents a significant improvement in the men's fashion over syn Sophia's past games, even if it still seems to be a lower priority compared to the women's. (It is sounding like there are fewer items for them on the whole, and I would not be at all shocked to hear there are fewer items for specific fashion niches than those equivalent niches in the women's fashion, but it is still meaningfully more diverse than what it was before.)

I promised examples.

Unfortunately, I only have one really good screenshot from my own 3DS, because I tend to take pictures of dialogue rather than inviting random characters to pose with me, and of the ones where you can clearly see what a guy is wearing, it's usually a character who's intentionally dressed as a sort of dorky scientist at best, and at worst...

Well, the best picture I have ALSO includes Johann, so you get to see him!

For those not reading the alt text, I feel it's important you know that that jacket of Johann's has TAILS. Also big gold buttons, I didn't note those because they're not really visible at all, and pants with a very gaudy floral pattern. So yeah, he's an Eccentric and Tortured Musician, so he dresses Like That. It's clearly intentional and not representative of the average character in the game (though he also has a student who dresses basically like him, with basically the same Eccentric and Tortured bit, who we see in a side quest.)

Oliver, on the other hand, is pretty much representative of how men in this series dress. He's a model, and as you can see, his default outfit (I checked the Style Boutique wiki to confirm, this is it) is... uh, kind of bland. He's not alone.

(Shout outs to the Style Boutique Wiki, where I got these screenshots.) This is Ricky, shown in his default outfit. (While there technically IS a menswear section in Fashion Forward, it's an extra you can only access from the title screen to dress up NPCs, and very limited. In the summer he'll take that jacket off, but that's it.)

I believe at least one of these outfits of Florian's is user-designed - they're both from Trendsetters, which is the game I've played the least of the four. Either way, not suits! But still not particularly interesting. But okay, maybe it's just that this STYLE is on the bland side? Let's try some others!

(In order: Vincent, Melvin, Ethan Quinn, Jim.)

I swear I didn't go looking for characters who are exclusively wearing T-shirts except Ethan, I am a bit limited in what the wiki has here. But also... yeah. I think Jim might be supposed to be a fan of bold fashion, given the belt and the hair? But you wouldn't know it from looking at the plain black t-shirt. Vincent and Melvin are a bit better - Vincent helps run the live music venue that opens midway through the game, while Melvin is in fact a nerd who doesn't take that much interest in fashion and only shows up to support one of the three central idols of the game, who also happens to be his best friend. Is it unfair to include him, then? No. Because at least his outfit is actually indicative of his character!

(Daisuke, Chad - though I believe he's renamed Brad in the North American release, and MC Mode, two photos. Tarquin, at the bottom, is one of my own screenshots.)

The same hat situation here is a bit amusing, but they were designed for different games and it makes sense to reuse fashion items like that between games - it let them add onto the wardrobe as the series went on, so there were a lot more items with different silhouettes and such by Styling Star. For the women. I think at least a few of these characters got to gain and lose jackets depending on the in-game season, and MC Mode here is a fashionable guy who gets to wear TWO outfits.

And the chic look isn't too bad - both Mode and Ethan wear it, so as you can see, there's definitely some range. I think Vincent might get to wear a leather jacket during the in-game winter, but I couldn't commit to it; I can't remember off-hand if Daisuke loses his jacket in the summer, though I hope not.

But yeah. You'll notice looking at all of these that even the rocker's outfit is a t-shirt and jeans. There ARE slightly more interesting options - those jeans might be distressed, there ARE leather jackets, and there are some pants with excess belts among the men's, I think - but not nearly as much as the women's fashion in the punk rock style. Tarquin's "lab coat" is clearly a suit jacket, and while it makes some sense not to make an entire unique item for one character, this game didn't even have men's fashion. I'm pretty sure they just used an existing suit jacket from Trendsetters. On the other hand, at least THAT ONE is reflective of his character. Daisuke's outfit is the closest the games come to athletic wear until Fashion Dreamer.

The characters in the later two games in particular were REALLY fun. There's a reason why I didn't have many screenshots just showing a male character facing forward, and none without dialogue - I actually really enjoy the writing here. Ethan wants to conquer the world with music, and multiple characters comment that this makes him sound like a supervillain. Tarquin is an endearing nerd who has a bunch of cute comments about all the items you bring in to make fashion items from. Florian likes bad puns.

But their outfits don't really tell you much about their personalities, where the female characters all do.

#I'm going to avoid maintagging this just to avoid stirring up shit #but that said this is primarily about the older games on a point we have all long acknowledged: The men's fashion is an afterthought #If I digged I could probably come up with some better examples of bold/rock but I didn't feel like playing tonight wanted to rest arms #but while those are two VERY different fashions for women with different brands and relatively little overlap #for the men's fashion they share a brand I'm pretty sure and it's functionally the same aesthetic with like. A few items on either side.#I think. Honestly if you told me Styling Star's men's rock clothes were a subset of bold entirely I'd believe you.#and I've played A LOT of Styling Star and the men's store has unlimited stock and still pays you so I frequently use it to grind money.#so yeah I'm still annoyed at FD's gender lock (WHY SOCKS?!) and I believe the consensus that it's still not the PRIORITY for syn Sophia #but this time at least it's clear that some actual genuine effort took place with the men's fashion #as evidenced by the fact that it has both fashions from niches and subcultures and also sweatpants and athletic wear.#seriously how the heck did it take so long to add THAT as an aesthetic for the men's wear when 3/4 games had a brand for the women for it?#(The fourth was Styling Star; they put those items in as either basic or more frequently pop since they were often used together.)

I'm still mad about what TMNT 2012 did to Irma so I decided to make a Rise version of her and definitely only for that reason and not because I have multiple fic ideas involving her

I wanted to give her a flair of punk for some reason even though I have no idea how to make a punk outfit 🥲

Her personality would be pretty similar to April I think, strong-willed and says what's on her mind, but a bit more blunt. I could see her either being voiced by the same actor as 2012 Irma or maybe the person who voiced Valerie in Danny Phantom

sorry to ask you again but I'm really curious about yuki's behavior in front of aurelius, when they're supposed to not be together anymore, I was curious when I saw the 2 comic pages you drew.

could you explain why such behavior to the point of taking aurelius' cape and putting it on her while she is completely naked?

ah sry!! i didnt know how to answer ur previous question since it was pretty vague -w-;;

the place they're staying in ("her domain") is at a bathhouse, a place for relaxation n pleasure (sexual n non-sexual). her being naked isn't rlly an issue in itself since she works there (if anything, she's naked more often than not n aurelius knows that)

other than that, the most i can say is that uhhhhh she still likes him a lot aaannd she can unintentionally overstep boundaries like that

my heels have been raw for a WEEK now from the flats i wore to my interview last week. i had to go out, get a decent looking outfit JUST for it, had to put on some makeup -i don’t wear makeup-, had to buy a cheap ass pair of dress shoes from walmart to go with it, couldn’t just show up in my old tennis shoes… only to get there and for all the guys i was up against to be wearing jeans and their tennis shoes like they just came from the gym- and MOST of them got the job. every single woman in there was dressed nice, hair done, modest yet professional clothes, PRESENTABLE. and almost every guy was dressed like they just came from a bar. idk.

they tell you not to have blue hair or visible tattoos or piercings “BeCaUsE nO oNe WiLl HiRe YoU!!” and so you never dye your hair like you want to, you dress nice, you put effort into your appearance for this one day, you wear uncomfortable shoes that shred your heels and you have to wear bandaids for the next week, you give your most thoughtful answers to the interview questions, and it still might not be enough. meanwhile Mr Burger Grease Stained Shirt McGee beside you in his beat up sketchers bullshitted all his answers and landed the job

#i shouldnt still be thinking about it. but i just had to change my bandaids AGAIN and my heels dont look like theyre getting better at all #theyre still raw #it was a group interview and the only other lady in there didnt get the job #only a couple guys out of thr entire pool for my time slot were dressed Nice #like not in their every day casual clothes. one guy wore a marble looking maroon suit jacket which i respect the hell out of #he got the job.#but almost everyone else was in casual wear. hell I was the only girl in pants!! business type pants but still #ALL the women were dressed up. only a few of us made it through #a lot more effort was put in on our part. and yet #idk. im not trying to articulate any specific point here. just kinda cant stop thinking #about how none of the guys are having to wear bandaids on their heels for a week #after their 4 hour interview process #i was only in the damn things for 4 hours. from start to the time i already had the job and drug tested it was only ~4 hours #just my life #vent #im not complaining that they got the job…its just the fact that they didnt put half the effort into looking presentable as we did yknow?#why did i have to put concealer on to be taken seriously. why couldnt i have gone in in my old tennis shoes and still gotten the job #because LAST time i went in for the same interview i DIDNT wesr makeup #and i DIDNT wear flats. i went in in my tennis shoes and formal-ish pants and a sweater and didnt get the job #im not saying how i dressed this time is what did get me the job…but i know that i put more effort into looking the part of an interviewee #this time and i did get the job. so idk. did it make a difference? it was the only thing i did different this time so i have to think it did #idk. i guess i just would like to see the same amount of effort put in. either that or dont make ME put in so much effort.#let me show up in MY casual wear and MY comfortable shoes.#idk. my heels hurt and its annoying
