I need you guys to understand just how hot Rose was in New Earth. Ten's FIRST episode that wasn't a special but she absolutely stole the show. She left not a single crumb. And don't get me STARTED on her kiss with Ten. That was EVERYTHING. I know that technically that was Cassandra, but we don't have to talk about that. This is in my top three episodes so far because of literally everything. Rose was SO attractive here and honestly if I watched Doctor Who when I was younger and saw Rose in this episode, she would've been my queer awakening 100%. i think i'm alone in feeling really sad for ashton these past couple episodes. mostly because of that damn tree telling them that literally everything they've ever done was predestined.

imagine living your entire life being treated like utter shit and then you finally begin to turn it around and have good things happen to you. you feel like a hero. and you're getting more information on your past and can finally grow from what happened. and then someone tells you to shut up and quit complaining because all the suffering you went through was totally justified because it was your destiny.

losing your parents was always going to happen. painfully transforming into a rock monster was always meant to happen. getting shoved out of a window, being abandoned and left to die was always meant to happen. every massive traumatizing moment that you've been through you need to suck up because that's just your destiny, you whiny baby.

and it's not even the bad things that apparently you have no consent in! even the girl you were nursing a weird little crush-rivalry-thingy on was just apparently always fucking meant to be yours? like, neither of you are clearly comfortable enough to start a relationship yet but all your friends are trying to get you both together anyways because she was always meant to be your husband?
