even if laura liking that one piece of fanart is just her saying she thinks its cute and isn't her soft-confirming imogen only likes women (but if it is, then more power to her for going that route!) i think it goes to show that maybe people could stand to be a little less hostile towards headcanons/fanworks they dislike to whiteknight for what they assume are the cast's intentions because for the most part the cast is okay with it! tal likes transmasc ashton and out of respect said he will not confirm or deny anything about their agab out of respect for trans fans for example!
as long as it isn't actively harmful like whitewashing the characters of color, or shipping gay men with women or lesbians with men or the aroace characters period, or incest/cp crap you guys gotta chill. because no, people drawing imogen with glasses is not "traumatic" for laura bailey. no, people shipping widobrave is not people projecting onto liam/sam and disrespecting their character choices. sometimes a headcanon is just a headcanon and if you don't like it that's okay.
