Cassian murdering Arvel Skeen is one of the most nuanced and complex moments I’ve seen happen in Star Wars and I’m going to be thinking about it for a long time. Diego Luna is brilliant. The myriad of thoughts and emotions all being portrayed in Cassian’s face and his tone. The anger that brews after Arvel admits he doesn’t have a brother. Cassian’s silent realization that he’s going to kill him.
The Art of Fuckery is so damn Shakespeare, all the hiding behind curtains–very Shakespeare, very Hamlet. Ed trying to decide if he’s going to kill Stede or not–very very Hamlet. When Ed is watching the fuckery and has a complete breakdown when he sees the kraken, so so goddamn Hamlet, WTF. Claudius is reminded of his own murderous actions, breaks down and flees. Ed, reminded of his deepest, darkest moment, the moment that makes him feel like a monster, that haunts him for the rest of his life, gasps and collapses and has to crawl into the bathtub. WHY IS THIS TV SHOW SO SHAKESPEARE I DIE.
“Turn your enemy’s worst fear against them. You’ll own them.”
“The play’s the thing wherein I’ll catch the conscience of the king.”

*Kala Dandekar: Okay, I don't know what is going on here, if - if I am totally losing my mind, or if one of the gods or goddesses is angry with me and has sent a demon. A dangerous pervert demon who never seems to have any clothes on.

I know Luther and Allison's relationship is supposed to be like a depiction of how siblings in abusive environments can form abnormal dynamics. But like, the show didn't really do that good of a job in depicting it as an abnormal dynamic. It just ended up being a romantic subplot between adopted siblings
