⁂

Everything I had, you took it all. Now no one gets close, I've got these walls. Afraid to take a step, for if I fall. Forced to take off running, can barely crawl.

Leaving you I'll feel relief. Seven realizations to keep it brief. Patching up some holes with these new leaves. Away the wind will take me on this breeze.

Mountain climbing was not my suit. Forest dwelling is the proof. Darkness fades, clouds on the move. Freedom harken, breaking loose.

Swimming deep I found a Rose. What got wet, barely my toes. Learning lessons, it's what you show. Humbled deeply and forced to grow.

Quiet growth or making waves. Sequenced melodies make them behave. Feelers growing, oh my days! Learning to revolve these power plays.

Lost and Found

Where is it you think that I've gone? The deep end or some place beyond. Seeming a bit more withdrawn listening to different songs. Back in no time or taking too long.

Movement through all of the prongs. Crab walk turned into a swan. Trials that I've undergone No longer being their pawn. Finding the place my Soul belongs.

Lost in Time

Can I just like in your lap for a moment. For my heart will not let me get up. Millions of lifetimes remembered. Some paths that seem to get stuck.

I don't know if time is my friend now. As I seem to be lost in this haze. Watching the minutes turn to hours. Months flying by like the days.

Step

Somber sentences tell me I’m wrong. Yet the beat of my heart sings a different song. Working for the man Or say the son of Sam. Is it them or me that gets to say who I am?

Loaded or unloaded. Unbuckling the belt Is relief for the bloated. Do demons rest Behind minds exploded?

‘Everyday differences. Realities the same. Bow your head and say your prayers Before you call his name.’

‘Everything’s a game. A joke’s what you call fame. Save your breath To pass the test A loud mouth Is a shame.’

‘Is something in the way? Fear, naievity or malaise. Find your way into the center That’s where serenity lays. Clearing up the haze. A place you’ll be amazed. You will endure we have ensured Take a stand and bow When you get praised.’
