Something that bothers me Is that everytime one of the "trio" Is given spotlight, the same old discourse happens of "do you want them to be dateable?" And Some people answer that No, because "they will take Time of the other cast" I'm sorry but having more or less characters isn't part of the problem. Look at season 1 of OG, and any event before the side characters became dateable. The problem Is the devs playing favorites, even If w still had 7 characters, the same problem would still be there.
Giving Thirteen a kiss scene will not rob of Beelzebub of an spotlight or giving Mephisto a hug of Asmodeus having screentime. The problem Is Mammon having 3 spotlights this year when we still have characters that haven't had one. The problem Is the devs pushing Lucifer as the center of the universe in the Main Story of NB. Why do you blame the characters that barely appear of robbing you of something that they aren't giving you anyways?

i think one of the many reasons i love the golden deer so much is that they feel like the shepherds 2
you got the brilliant tactician mastermind whos strategies are really fun and unique making for great so many moments (robin/claude)
pigtails, has some cutscene relevance despite not being the main character, and big axe (lissa/hilda)
you got the snooty lovable noble who eventually really means their best but theyve grown up in nobility all their life they dont know how to show it well (maribelle/lorenz)
...however you also have a noble that is trying to flirt with everyone but has no rizz (virion/lorenz)
good with animals but quite clumsy (sumia/marianne)
the studious mage who doesnt really wanna be bothered (miriel/lysithea)
..but also a mage who's young but hates to be treated like a kid (ricken/lysithea)
guy who is just here to eat cheeseburger (stahl/raphael)
really really cool women (sully/leonie)
and our protagonist who stands alongside the tactician and they definitely kissed said tactician (chrom/byleth)

4 Years HHAtranslated
It's 15 April 2024, which means HHAtranslated turns 4 years old today 🫶🏼🥹
When I thought of starting this account pre-covid, I never expected it would turn into this. During lockdown, I had so much time and the nostalgia and my love for Anubis helped me through so much over the years.
So many accounts on Instagram, Tumblr and Twitter talk about this universe and it makes me so happy!
As there are four series and this is the fourth anniversary, I'd like to express my gratitude for each show.
Het Huis Anubis:
* HHA raised me as a kid and helped me through my struggles as a teen and now in my twenties
* Seeing the cast IRL in December was a dream come true and I still can't believe it happened 🥹
* I can't wait to see the EMDV vodcast of Anjali and Iris! They're teasing the date of the first episode online atm. I can't wait to unravel new truths 🤩
The Five of the Magical Sword:
* Such an overhated and underrated show in Belgium and the Netherlands, that I was scared to sub it. I'm glad I did, because international fans took Sterre, Pim, Marcel, Raphael and Anastacia into their hearts and didn't let them go 🫶🏼
* I also learned to appreciate the show a lot more
* I hope they've a reunion too
House of Anubis:
* HHA and HOA fans often butt heads and it's not necessary at all!
* Both shows are absolutely amazing
* HOA took the key elements of HHA and made it their own and I adore what they did with it. Some characters might have a different arc, but it makes them their own person and I love discovering the differences
* I need to rewatch the masterpiece that's season 3!
Das Haus Anubis:
* For some reason, DHA makes me hella nostalgic while I only discovered it in 2019
* The same sets and scripts make for fun comparisons and while DHA is a lower budget show, it's so much fun
* I love to watch DHA episode/day wise and I've rewatched it like that already often
* The cast is so involved still and it makes me very happy!
The future of HHAtranslated:
* Once I find an editing programme again, I'd love to sub the S100 Singalong Anubis concert, BTS of HHA/The Five and the discography
* I'd love to sub Das Haus Anubis someday🫶🏼
Now:
My main project for 2024 is the 9 Het Huis Anubis novels, based on the TV series and the movies.
The books are in third person, but follow Nienke's pov, throughout her stay at Anubis House. Some scenes are way more graphic than in the series, like Nienke and Noa's kidnapping.
The romance is also more present and we get new scenes which make Nienke's decisions more logical, like how she ended up in Anubis house with the grail mid-season 2.
I'm starting of with book 1: The Secret Club of the Old Willow
I'll try to upload frequently. I've less time as I work fulltime and live with my boyfriend, compared to university and living at my parents' years ago. A new blogpost will be created on my website, with links to the chapters, published in a Google Drive doc.
English isn't my first language so there will be mistakes. However, I hope to do the books justice like I hope I did the show.
Teasers to the books and chapter 1 will be posted soon. Stay tuned ❤️

Highly recommend a podcast called throwing sheyd when talking about Asmodeus! It’s from two jewish people speaking about Jewish demonology and how we can use this information to change our lives for the better. They talk about Asmodeus and the already established "demon royal family". I’m not surprised Vivziepop didn’t use any Jewish (or Persian) sources but had she actually used them the story would’ve been way better and she wouldn’t have made him some idiot that doesn’t like reading contracts. Im not even scratching the surface of how powerful this guy is in the legends but he’s the demon of lust AND wrath, King of all earthly spirits. He also took over King Solomon’s throne and tried to bag a human woman by killing all of her suitors. The story with him hating fish is most likely because he associates the smell of burning fish guts as a sign that the Archangel Raphael is gonna kick his ass for killing a woman’s suitors since he wanted her that badly (read the story of Sarah from the book of Tobit). His og multifaceted story is so underrated in my opinion.

he’s so much more than a romancey club owner, he has armies, and relationships with mortals, and an inner fury he seems to have tamed but I’d love to see what he was like before therapy, i want to see his hatred for Raphael, his fear of heaven, his love of Lilith and Sarah and others.
Vivziepops demon overlords are nicer people than the working class. Kings and Queens are nice people, but servants are evil. Interesting! Another reason mammon is the only sin who is actually a sin.
They really nerfed him in that episode and i think it’s so senseless that it’s either trying to show Asmodeus finds it hard to make rational decisions regarding fizz, or at worst it’s more character shilling for the creators pet. Kindve like Loona saying “he may not always say the right thing but he’s tryinggg”

• He would be in astonishment at the sudden transformation being presented before his eyes.
• He had a lot of questions when it came to how the transformation works and I don’t blame him.
• On top of it all, you looked even more stunning if that were even possible considering how breathtaking you already are.
• The sight reminded him of those superheroes in kids shows he used to watch as a little turtle tot.
• He was so frozen in shock and astonishment that he forgot that they were fighting a monster that had been terrorizing the city.
• Leo would watch as you jumped into action, throwing hits at the monster causing it’s main focus to be on you.
• He would quickly run in and help you with the fight, trying to push his admiration to the side.
• Once the fight was over tho he would turn to you and praise you for the success during the fight, telling you how astonished he was upon seeing your transformation in action.
• You looked like a princess to him, so beautiful and elegant.
• god did he love you..
Raphael
• Raph would already be in the fight, running in without warning and attacking the monster.
• There had been a few monsters terrorizing the city for a bit now and no one had any idea where they came from.
• You would start your transformation a few feet away from the fight causing both Raph and the monster to pause their movements and stare at you.
• Raph was taken back at what he was seeing in front him, you looked like those superhero characters Mikey would be going on and on about.
• Upon seeing your slightly new appearance, he would raise his eyebrow bones and a slight smirk would find its way onto his lips.
• Once you two were finished with the fight Raph would pull you close and hold you, complimenting you on your slight change and fighting skills.
• he even insisted that you go out to fight crime with him more often to which you agreed
• good god does he love you.

1. Tech E. Coyote - Loonatics Unleashed
I always liked this show because it had a shockingly wide Black cast and Tech was one of the only entertaining characters in it. This show wasn't great but I still love coming back to it.
Tech was also one of my favorite "oh, I'm drawn to these kinds of characters because their whole scientific bit wasn't what I was drawn to but my undiscovered autism" characters.
2. Telma, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
One of my favorite Zelda characters of all time! I need to replay Twilight Princess at some point so that I can never shut up about her. Love her hair especially.
3. Hillary Banks - Bel-Air
Coco Jones is a master at just giving looks and saying a whole paragraph with a single expression. Bel-Air is underrated. Still has its share of issues sure, but still a fun watch.
4. Raphael and Michelangelo, Rise of the TMNT
I love the sunset boys and I will destroy everything and everyone for them. Underrated duo. I so badly would have loved for them to explore the subplot of them drifting a bit apart from when they were much younger.
5. Joey Wheeler, Yu-Gi-Oh
This shot is ICONIC. I prefer Joey's green jacket fit but this was one hell of a moment.
6. Maxine Shaw, Attorney at Law - Living Single
Max solos.
7. Team Sonic - Sonic Heroes
This is the Bro3P. They are all brothers, your honor. (I am embarassingly good at playing through Sonic Heroes)
8. Simon Blackquill - Ace Attorney
Comedian, Prosecutor, animal lover, and best dude ever. Easily one of the most fun Ace Attorney characters ever made.
9. Brock - Pokemon
He was my entry into "brown-skinned anime character child me thought was Black" the first time I saw him as a kid, ngl.
10. Louie Duck, Ducktales
He's the evil sibling. He's just like me

I kinda want to do something fun.
Underrated couples/pairings from 3H!
Let’s start.
1. Seteth and Manuela
Seriously, these two are so cute together. Have you seen their supports? It’s absolutely maddening that these two are not shipped more
2. Cyril and Lysithea
Lysithea is preferred to be shipped with someone who saves her life, and Cyril is preferred to be thrown into a dumpster. But not only is that disrespectful to my son, but it also ignores just how cute these two are together! It’s one of the few support chains where Lysithea is not crying about being treated as a kid, and it’s one of the few where Cyril is not talking about Rhea. They compliment each other well. Lysithea gets to teach Cyril to read, and therefore gets to feel like an educated adult, and Cyril... gets to learn to read. Win/win!
3. Ingrid and Yuri (Azure Moon specifically)
I don’t see this one too often, but honestly, it’s a great one. They bond over food, Ingrid still gets to be a knight, and then retires to cook food at her own inn! Their ending seems more platonic, but I think that works for Ingrid. I prefer Ingrid not-married. Instead, both of them get to do what they wanted/love without having to sacrifice anything else. Plus, they are just good together as friends.
4. Ferdinand and Flayn
Both of these characters have far more popular pairings, but this one is just really sweet. They have great chemistry and their ending is full of love. But since Ferdinand is a BE, and going CF means no Flayn, alas this pairing is not seen as often.
5. Ashe and Cyril
Another forgotten ending, because people don’t like Cyril. But I like this pairing. Both of these young men get to flourish and help each other grow into better leaders, and are best friends for life. They both started from a place of poverty, and both become excellent leaders into their adult years.
6. Hapi and Dimitri
I don’t think this one is popular due to the fact that their support is literally just an info dump and their ending is completely non-romantic. But I stan more platonic pairings! Not only do they work together to take down those who harmed them both, but they have an almost sibling-like friendship later in life. You know the one, one where one sibling cannot stop talking about their favorite thing to discuss and the other one just smiles and shakes their head, but listens anyways.
7. Claude and Shamir
Another rare-pair that reads as platonic, but it’s a rather interesting one. It’s one of the few where Claude leaves his throne after achieving his goals, after which he goes traveling and meets Shamir along the way. I don’t know, I kinda dig that.
8. Edelgard and Hubert
Edelgard really only has popular ships with Byleth or other ladies. Hubert is not among her popular ships. But man, people are missing out on the potential for this one. A loyal retainer who will do any deed or crime for the love of his master? Hell yeah, sign me up for that!
9. Raphael and Marianne
Raphael isn’t popular in general, so he is often forgotten about. But these two have a great ending together! A happy-go-lucky guy and a trouble young woman? Tale as old as time.

Do you feel insulted when people ship things that go against your ships? (Like Leo x whoever else…honestly I can’t think of another Leo ship that isn’t problematic atm)
depends ig. tho i think it’s less insulted and more annoyed
with leonardo i can only ever see him with lotus blossom so other leonardo ships annoy me to a rlly bad degree. leo/sagi especially due to its popularity. and also bc most leo/sagi fans don’t seem to care about usagi’s franchise at all
like bro,, miyamoto usagi is an adult in everything except the tmnt 2003 series and has multiple great love interests anyway. and yuichi gives me kinda aroace vibes?
87 leo/sagi makes me physically nauseous for multiple reasons. like literally sick to my stomach.
i mean if u ship it whatever i have the tag blocked anyway but yeah i just don’t like it.
and lotus blossom has a history of being overlooked by the tmnt franchise so it just makes me extra salty when the fandom ignores her too, or reduces her to being a version of karai, which is possibly even more annoying cause i hate leo/rai too
so yeah when it comes to leonardo and lotus blossom u will never see me ship them with anybody except each other.
only sorta exception is that i hc that leonardo crushed on casey in 2012 season 2 but i don’t ship it i don’t see that ever happening. the show just gave me that vibe only in season 2. i think after that leo moved on
but then there are characters who i can ship with multiple characters, like any of the other turtles. so ships that aren’t my main ship don’t bother me as much
i have a history of shipping raphael with mona, joi, and mezcaal. michelangelo with kala and trib. and donatello with april (2012 only) and jhanna. and also some other sillier ones too (zakatello …)
i mean now that i’m thinking about it, i’m probably more defensive of a ship the more underrated it is, especially if it’s backed by canon.
like 2012 ramona is adorable and i like that it’s canon, but it’s not underrated at all so i feel no need to defend it much. then with 87 ramona, it’s not rlly canon but it’s not underrated either, so i can enjoy it both romantically and platonically without defending it.
but with leolotus, ppl forget it all the time even tho it’s more canon than most tmnt couples, and i have to make my own ship content anyway :p

Deeply underrated aspect of Kaiba's characterization here (and to a lesser extent, Mokuba) in comparison to Atem- the Kaiba brothers recognize right away that their Doma Foil Character (Amelda) is not a bad person. Mokuba more blatantly, but even Kaiba understands Amelda's motives, understands why he's angry and why he wants revenge- hell, when he first dueled Amelda, he even acknowledged this and acknowledged his part in it:
He doesn't deny that Amelda's anger is justified. But, as he rather gently explains to Mokuba, Amelda and Doma are still in the way of their goals. They still have to be stopped.
This contrasted to Atem, who predominantly responds to Raphael, his Doma Foil Character, with a mixture of disdain and confusion:
Atem, who has never really confronted his own inner darkness, could not understand Raphael's point of view or really empathize with his suffering. He couldn't see that Raphael might be a "true duelist" after all, that he might be a good person. Kaiba, however, a character that is intimately aware of his own capacity for malice, can empathize with Amelda. He doesn't disagree when Mokuba says that Amelda isn't a bad person. It's just that he doesn't let that empathy get in the way of his commitment to stopping Doma.
