On a stifling April afternoon in Ajmer, in the Indian state of Rajasthan, local politician Shakti Singh Rathore sat down in front of a greenscreen to shoot a short video. He looked nervous. It was his first time being cloned.

Wearing a crisp white shirt and a ceremonial saffron scarf bearing a lotus flower—the logo of the BJP, the country’s ruling party—Rathore pressed his palms together and greeted his audience in Hindi. “Namashkar,” he began. “To all my brothers—”

Before he could continue, the director of the shoot walked into the frame. Divyendra Singh Jadoun, a 31-year-old with a bald head and a thick black beard, told Rathore he was moving around too much on camera. Jadoun was trying to capture enough audio and video data to build an AI deepfake of Rathore that would convince 300,000 potential voters around Ajmer that they’d had a personalized conversation with him—but excess movement would break the algorithm. Jadoun told his subject to look straight into the camera and move only his lips. “Start again,” he said.

Right now, the world’s largest democracy is going to the polls. Close to a billion Indians are eligible to vote as part of the country’s general election, and deepfakes could play a decisive, and potentially divisive, role. India’s political parties have exploited AI to warp reality through cheap audio fakes, propaganda images, and AI parodies. But while the global discourse on deepfakes often focuses on misinformation, disinformation, and other societal harms, many Indian politicians are using the technology for a different purpose: voter outreach.

Across the ideological spectrum, they’re relying on AI to help them navigate the nation’s 22 official languages and thousands of regional dialects, and to deliver personalized messages in farther-flung communities. While the US recently made it illegal to use AI-generated voices for unsolicited calls, in India sanctioned deepfakes have become a $60 million business opportunity. More than 50 million AI-generated voice clone calls were made in the two months leading up to the start of the elections in April—and millions more will be made during voting, one of the country’s largest business messaging operators told WIRED.

Jadoun is the poster boy of this burgeoning industry. His firm, Polymath Synthetic Media Solutions, is one of many deepfake service providers from across India that have emerged to cater to the political class. This election season, Jadoun has delivered five AI campaigns so far, for which his company has been paid a total of $55,000. (He charges significantly less than the big political consultants—125,000 rupees [$1,500] to make a digital avatar, and 60,000 rupees [$720] for an audio clone.) He’s made deepfakes for Prem Singh Tamang, the chief minister of the Himalayan state of Sikkim, and resurrected Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, an iconic politician who died in a helicopter crash in 2009, to endorse his son Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, currently chief minister of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Jadoun has also created AI-generated propaganda songs for several politicians, including Tamang, a local candidate for parliament, and the chief minister of the western state of Maharashtra. “He is our pride,” ran one song in Hindi about a local politician in Ajmer, with male and female voices set to a peppy tune. “He’s always been impartial.”

While Rathore isn’t up for election this year, he’s one of more than 18 million BJP volunteers tasked with ensuring that the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi maintains its hold on power. In the past, that would have meant spending months crisscrossing Rajasthan, a desert state roughly the size of Italy, to speak with voters individually, reminding them of how they have benefited from various BJP social programs—pensions, free tanks for cooking gas, cash payments for pregnant women. But with the help of Jadoun’s deepfakes, Rathore’s job has gotten a lot easier.

He’ll spend 15 minutes here talking to the camera about some of the key election issues, while Jadoun prompts him with questions. But it doesn’t really matter what he says. All Jadoun needs is Rathore’s voice. Once that’s done, Jadoun will use the data to generate videos and calls that will go directly to voters’ phones. In lieu of a knock at their door or a quick handshake at a rally, they’ll see or hear Rathore address them by name and talk with eerie specificity about the issues that matter most to them and ask them to vote for the BJP. If they ask questions, the AI should respond—in a clear and calm voice that’s almost better than the real Rathore’s rapid drawl. Less tech-savvy voters may not even realize they’ve been talking to a machine. Even Rathore admits he doesn’t know much about AI. But he understands psychology. “Such calls can help with swing voters.”

After a hiatus in the 1990s, he returned to prominence in the 2000s with films like Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Piku. In Piku, he earned his fourth National Film Award for Best Actor, a record achievement. He also featured in the Hollywood film, The Great Gatsby (2013).

Throughout his career, Bachchan has received numerous awards, including four National Film Awards for Best Actor and sixteen Filmfare Awards. Recognizing his contribution to the arts, the Indian government awarded him the Padma Shri (1984), Padma Bhushan (2001), Padma Vibhushan (2015), and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award (2018). France also honored him with its highest civilian award, Knight of the Legion of Honour, in 2007.

Apart from acting, Bachchan has been a playback singer, producer, and TV presenter. He hosted multiple seasons of India's version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" titled "Kaun Banega Crorepati." He briefly entered politics in the 1980s and is recognized for his humanitarian efforts. Beyond India, Bachchan has a significant international following, especially in regions like Africa, the Middle East, and the UK. He was voted the "greatest star of stage or screen" in a 1999 BBC poll and was dubbed the "Star of the Millennium" by TIME magazine in 2003.

This [The fantasy Map of India in Immortals of Meluha] is a fairly common addition to texts published in the fantasy fiction genre, particularly since it attempts to construct a world whole-cloth for uninitiated readers. Unlike a standard map, the visual technology behind this one is slightly different: it is not part of the colonial project that enables mastery. Instead, this is a map that is deliberately attempting to reimagine a past for the country – reconstructing the territory along fantastical lines that allow the author full freedom over the world of the text. While analysing the iconography associated with the geobody of India, Ramaswamy discusses the “enchanted cartographies” that come to define Bharat Mata. This is a slightly different project: the map is attempting to lay claim to the imaginative space of a fantastical India. This is an India that never was and would never be – but it could be. The text is laying claim to the very possibilities that fantasy represents, and through the image of the map, allows a kind of dominance over the space of the world.

Ramaswamy has noted in her essay that cartographies of this order engender a specific kind of male citizenship, that later changes into iconography that imagines the country as female. That The Shiva Trilogy (and a large number of texts in the fantasy fiction genre) relies on the trope of the promised king says a lot about the mastery that is demanded on this imaginary land. Nor is it an accident that a Hindu God is reimagined for this role. Tripathi’s own leanings towards a pro-Hindutva politics aside, fantasy has long been a repository for right of centre politics. Carroll’s essay contains, perhaps the most succinct analysis of this phenomenon: “Many fascist intellectuals believe that time is cyclical or nonlinear, which means that archaic elements from previous eras might recur again once more when the present epoch is over. Frequently the alt-right draws upon popular media set in ancient history or pseudo-medieval fantasy worlds to try to convey what this might look like. The alt-right fights so hard over these genres because they want to lay claim to imagination’s potential to transcend the here and now” (Carroll).

The question, then, is what kind of world order is the text of The Shiva Trilogy imagining? There is no doubt that the text of the novel posits the grand attempt at civilisation that is Meluha (in itself a very masculine endeavour) as the correct mode of existence. Shiva, coming from mount Kailash and having lived in a homeland that supposedly is caught in strife, says, “‘The tribes in my homeland were no better than animals. They didn’t even want to live a better life!’” (Tripathi 110). And the civilisation with the correct moral order is a Hindu one. There is little to no conversation about this fantasy land being secular or not: this is a world order that is pre-secular to begin with. What requires correction are the hierarchies found in modern Hinduism, which have been reimagined in inventive ways. In this world order, “Tribal” people such as Shiva are easily assimilated into the mould of Hinduism, with some of their traditions and Gods being posited as having been sourced in Upper Caste Hinduism to begin with. For instance, when Shiva describes the concept of Shakti (apparently a common philosophical belief amongst his people), a surprised Brahaspati comments, “‘Interesting. That word has not been used to describe energy for many centuries. It was a term of the Pandyas, the ancestors of all the people of India. Do you know where your tribe came from? Their lineage?’” (Tripathi 74).

In many ways, this hints at a common past for all the socio-religious identities of India. This is a Hindu project, and that it has seen resonances in other texts published in India (see footnote 1) only speaks to a certain kind of anxiety that demands this elaborate reconstruction of India.

Modi takes a jibe over Gandhi’s ‘Shakti’ comment, asks him for clarification

In the Monday political game, The comment made by Rahul Gandhi with the wording ‘Shakti’ garnered a sharp response from the Bhartiya Janta Party. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his rally in Telangana, took a dig at Gandhi and asked him to clarify the same.

Gandhi commented during the culmination of the Bharat Jodi Nyay Yatra and many more before that stirred a sharp reaction on social media already. This time, the PM lashed out at these comments with great power. Shakti is a word that represents Goddess in Hindi. The PM said that Shakti represented “Bharat Mata” (Mother India, the personification of the country) and that he was ready to embrace the challenge of “prevent the eradication of Shakti”.

PM Modi further said that the manifesto of the INDIA bloc of opposition parties “targets Shakti, representing every mother, daughter, and sister. I revere them as Shakti and worship Bharat Mata. Their aim to eradicate Shakti is a challenge I embrace. I am ready for the battle ahead. How can anyone on this Earth talk of destroying Shakti when everyone worships it?”

Gandhi, while speaking on the completion of his 62-day east-to-west peregrination that began in Manipur, commented “In the Hindu religion, there is a word called shakti. We are fighting shakti…We are fighting against a shakti. The question is, what is that shakti? Like someone here said, the king’s soul is in the EVMs. That is right. The king’s soul is in the EVM, is inside every institution in India, is inside the ED, CBI, the Income Tax department.”

Answering this, Modi in Jagtial, Telangana said, “ We dedicated the success of the Chandrayaan mission by naming the point where Chandrayaan landed as ‘Shiv Shakti.’ The fight is between those who want to destroy ‘Shakti’ and those who worship ‘Shakti.’ The verdict will be out on June 4.”

April 19 will mark the beginning of the elections in India and the result will be declared on June 4.

Happy Navratri - 9 day festival of worshipping Shakti - the feminine divine. PM Modi's dedication to the Goddess is legendary, even during state visits, he maintains his fast and prayer time to the Goddess during Navaratri.

As a true devotee, PM Modi has introduced pro-women policies eg - providing cheap cooking gas, running water, regular power supply, free education for women, government houses registered in name of women, indoor toilets, removing triple talak etc. This has helped uplift women, regardless of their caste, class, creed, community or ethnicity. These are concrete measures to help the living divine rather than just sing hymns and light lamps.

The 1st law PM Modi proposed & passed in the new parliament was to reserve 1/3 of all parliament seats for women! He also supported the candidature of a tribal woman as the President of India. This gives inspiration to the next generation of women in India and gives them political clout they have never had till now.

As individual measures, any one of these policies would be enormously beneficial to women. To introduce and action all these in the last 9 years is a phenomenal achievement! His measures have helped 700 million women, twice the population of USA!

In addition to being a statesmen and a seasoned politician, PM Modi is also a poet. He has penned a garbo to celebrate the spirit of Navratri and worship of the feminine divine!

Hey, I just want to point out that the Bharatiya Stree Shakti organization is not actually an apolitical organization, despite claiming so. Many of its founding members are ex-members of BJP and other Hindu nationalist organizations like VHP, ABVP, Rashtra Sevika Samiti (a female equivalent of RSS). So I think we should also be aware of how right wing women in India pretends to care for the interests of women while simultaneously discriminating against marginalized women.

But thank you for bringing this to my notice. They seemed like any other toothless feminist organization in the country with a special interest in "family empowerment" and reforming men but I just checked their founding members' background and you're right, they're all right wing women.

Not surprised honestly. I think I made a post a while back on how successful the Indian right wing is being in recruiting women to the point it's scary because anyone who's not right wing, well aware or read enough about our politics might genuinely think these are true feminist actions and not an effort to suppress or restrict a movement that opposes and seeks abolition, and not reform, of an oppressive system (patriarchy) which other oppressive systems like nationalism and caste system rely on to work.

I always used to get so angry at white liberals on here because so many times they use the same arguments as Indian right wing men against radical feminism or any kind of feminism tbh. That women don't need mukti(emancipation), we need shakti and equality. That feminism "needs" men and it was the white people who brought homophobia, misogyny etc and our ancient times used to be very progressive blah blah you get the idea. And the constant pretense that feminism is a "Western" and colonial import so we need to oppose it and form a different women's rights movement that includes men and preserves traditional heteropatriarchal roles, when so many ancient texts show how even before colonization many women and "lower" caste people opposed many of Hinduism's oppressive practices. Or at least tried to reform them even if it was in a way that I wouldn't think was effective today.

But I have gotten rid of this anger because not only are these people stupid, sexist and racist but even if they listened to us they wouldn't be on our side. It's futile.

Because basically right wing Indians tend to use more progressive language unlike the right wing in the West. And there's also the historical difference of being colonized vs being the colonizer the analysis of which these right wing people draw inaccurately to gain popularity.

So in short these people are great at deceiving and how they're successful in recruiting women in their movement. I hope these women realize no matter how much Hindu right wing men claim themselves and their religion to be feminist, their end goal in context with gender is to return to traditional roles. A few female goddesses and their temples don't make any damn difference. We need to fight our own political, economic and social wars. All this fake concern for women's education and safety, bullshit. Half of the time Indian fathers encourage their daughters to do well at school and college is so they could marry into richer families to a more qualified man.

Now I tell you about my journey of KOLKATA. I went to Kolkata in December 16 2022 by train with my family. I took Sealdah Rajdhani express at 5:00 pm from Delhi. I reached Sealdah (kolkata) next day 17th december at 2:00 pm. From there we took taxi and reached the guest house. we were tired and took some rest. At 6:00 pm on 17th Dec, we went to kali ghat for darshan. Kalighat is regarded as one of the 51 Shakti Peethas of India, where the various parts of Sati's body are said to have fallen, in the course of Shiva's Rudra Tandava. Kalighat represents the site where the toes of the right foot of Dakshayani or Sati fell. On 18th december , we went to GANGA SAGAR ( village on sagar island, west bengal) The island of Gangasagar is one of the most famous Hindu pilgrimage centres in India. Every year on Makar Sankranti (mid-January), pilgrims from all over India, gather at Gangasagar for a holy dip at the confluence of the River Ganga and the Bay of Bengal. our whole day spent in gangasagar. on 19th Dec, We went to swami vivekananda ashram and belur math. we enjoyed a lot and I get to know many things about kolkata their tradition, culture, historical places, food etc. we had train on 20th December from sealdah. That's all about my journey i tried all the famous food of Kolkata puchke, rasgulla, Mishti doi etc. Had a wonderful experience.

Research shows that exposure to the Arts can help teens develop many positive skills and capacities that are valued by leaders and employers, such as persistence, collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving, motivation, and problem solving. In addition, studies demonstrate that Arts exposure can improve a teenager’s confidence and academic performance. Apart from this, he has organized 'plantation drives' and ' cleanliness Drives ' & ' food drives ' at a local level with the aim to build a better community. NOW HE HAS ACTUALLY BECOME MAD. *NOT ONLY MAD, A FEW DAYS BACK, HE IS SENDING ME THE MESSAGE, ‘YOU HAND OVER THE WHOLE SANGHA TO ME. I WANT TO GO PARIVRAJAKA YATRA WITH THE WHOLE SANGHA. YOU TAKE REST!’ *AFTER A FEW DAYS HE IS MESSAGING, ‘EVERYONE AROUND ME THINKS I HAVE GONE MAD AND I AM AFRAID OTHERS ARE GOING TO KILL ME.’ *I WANT TO PUT ON RECORD: EITHER HE WILL KILL OTHERS AND GO TO JAIL OR HE WILL COMMIT SUICIDE OR HE WILL BE KILLED BECAUSE TO PROTECT THEMSELVES, SOMEONE WILL KILL HIM. IT HAS GONE OUT OF HIS HANDS. NOBODY CAN SAVE HIM. *EVEN IF I GIVE A SEPARATE ASHRAM FOR HIM HE DOESN'T WANT TO STAY! *THAT KARMA IN THE FORM OF GHOST HAS TAKEN OVER HIM. *HIS OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE REATIONARY PATTERN IS SO STRONG NOW. Thoughts on Buffy Season 8 (and a bit beyond)...

Been thinking of Buffy as of late (Which is not made easier due to current events, let me tell ya!), and I wanted to at least work out in print/spitball some thoughts on Season 8 through 12 of the series (the comics, for those that don’t remember).  They do have their shining moments, and some nifty ideas, but they also have quite a few (big) stumbles.  

Frankly, aside from a few highlights, the series didn’t really get a solid track until Christos Gage became the regular writer. 

But I digress. 

There were several specific points where I felt the series could have done better if it didn’t pull its usual and sacrifice sense for metaphor/theme (it does that a LOT). 

But for now I’ll only talk about one: 

They never did name the Slayer Organization. 

Now, after Buffy left it, many of the Slayers formed a mercenary company called “Deepscan” where they hired themselves out as Bodyguards/elite specialists in order to fund demon hunting.  Not a bad idea, but the thought put behind the Slayer Organization is really visible in the fact that I have to keep calling it “The Slayer Organization” and not a specific name. 

So, by naming it, we can actually do things with it in a political sense.  The opening comic has Buffy mention that of the 2000 known slayers, 800 work with them. 

Which is pretty nice, and later developments with factional slaying were some of the highlights. 

But it’s largely an afterthought to other threats.  

IMO, there should have been two major factions established to work with. An aristocratic faction, and an anarchist faction. Geneve Savage and Simone Dofler were two good characters from the comic seasons, and while Simone got some work, I’m not 100% behind how her story went. 

I’d have preferred some actual functioning. 

Geneve got a great story for Faith out of it, but I felt she could have been more of a threat. 

Just picture it. 

We have Geneve and a faction of Aristocratic Slayers, some of whom are born into aristocracy, and their hangers-on/hirelings.  They feel the ruling is their right and now they have the physical power to back up their financial/political power. Their overall goal would be to take their ‘rightful place’ as leaders of the Slayer community, with the secondary goal of making more of the ‘elite’ girls of the world into Slayers.  That they are willing to attempt ritual sacrifice of existing Slayers to ‘put the power where it belongs’ is just the first half of their evil.  Slayer Bloodsport.  Once they figure out a way to make their own Slayers (corrupted/not quite true Slayers), they use these “Low class” slayers as testing beds for their ‘new members’ to prove themselves.  At first they think to kill buffy and thus usurp her, but change plans to undermine her leadership and take the Slayers who follow her away. 

Simone Dofler is the Anarchist Slayer.  She wants to use the power to tear down power structures. The big problem here is, while some power structures need to be taken down, she has no plan for it afterward.  She’d do great in the world of Mad Max, and now has the means to bring it about. Her plan to give herself more power to battle Buffy was pretty bad (becoming a Slayer-Vampire), but the idea behind that isn’t so bad.  To her, Buffy is just another Power Structure to dismantle, and she needs the power to destroy it. 

Obviously, Geneve and Simone HATE each other. 

With a focus on factionalism, we can introduce Deep Scan as a fourth faction after Buffy screws up royal in her leadership (which, she will), and they become a somewhat estranged faction from Buffy, but on her side at the same time.  Lead by Kennedy, naturally, to make things dramatic and stuff. 

That way, themes of power and responsibility could be explored. It might be fun. 

Hell, there could be other international factions. 

Just going by “2000 Slayers divided equally among the world’s population” you’d have 2 Company’s worth (over 350) of Slayers in China. Imagine the Chinese Military trying to weaponized Slayers.  Other Governments may try to do it, but no one else has that large a base to work with. 

And India has a similar quantity of Slayers in this model. Vampire Slayers through the model of Hinduism would produce some unique outcomes.  Imagine a group of Hindu Slayers devoted to Shakti/Durga, and different groups of them doing their best to embody different aspects of the deity they believe empowered them.  

And now remember that one of those forms is Kali. 

Pakistan would have roughly 50 Slayers. Imagine, a story of girls in Pakistan given power like that and then set out to create reforms.  Other countries may have similar organizational groups spring up from the Slayers and their power. 

There are also other organizations that would love to have a group of Slayers to work with.  There are about 15 Slayers in Italy in this model, imagine some of them being scooped up by the Catholic Church (among other countries). 

And that’s just assuming even distribution!

But yeah, that was a big missed opportunity.

I love this question! And such a difficult one to answer simply because there are so many great books. I am going to answer your question in two ways: first, by providing a general reading list, and second, by providing a select reading list by goddess.

There are inevitably some setbacks to my recommendations--specifically because I have a limited background in many areas—but I intend to update this list in the future. To that point—thank you 🌺 to the person who asked me this question! You have inspired me to put together a “living” Goddess Recommended Reading list on my website. Worth mentioning: Many of the books I recommend are to some degree scholastic. But, all of which are readable and enjoyable to anyone inside or outside of academia.

General Goddess book recommendations:

1)    “Goddess: Mysteries of the Feminine Divine” by Joseph Campbell

This book is a collection of his lectures on the Goddess. It was, essentially, my introduction into the Goddess. It is also a book that I return to from time to time for inspiration. I greatly appreciate JC’s unique way of emphasizing cross-cultural patterns and the psychological-spiritual meaning behind myths and mythic figures. Though not without a bit of controversy, JC was a brilliant comparative mythologist who truly believed that human beings could transform themselves through the wisdom of myth.

2)    “The Living Goddess” by Marija Gimbutas

Marija Gimbutas was an archeo-mythologist who dared to theorize that the people of Neolithic Old Europe and Anatolia were egalitarian and worshipped a Great Goddess. This GG was likely a prototype for the later goddess figures that we know today. She had, and still has, many critics in mainstream archeology, but I find her theories fascinating, plausible, and liberating!

3)    “Encyclopedia of Goddesses and Heroines” by Patricia Monaghan, PhD

Just a great all-around resource. She organizes by tradition, but you can use the index to find a goddess by attribute (i.e. sun goddess) or simply by name. I would trust any work written by her.

4)   “The Creation of Patriarchy” by Gerda Lerner

This book is been monumental in creating a solid theoretical framework for the development of patriarchy in the West and how it has impacted the lives of women and the role of the Great Goddess in culture.

5, 6 , & 7) 

“The Politics of Women’s Spirituality” Edited by Charlene Spretnak

“Weaving the Visions” Edited by Judith Plaskow and Carol P. Christ

“Womanspirit Rising” Edited by Carol P. Christ and Judith Plaskow

These three books feature a variety of essays, poems, and visions by the “Founding Mothers” of Goddess Spirituality. These books offer context, including an historical understanding of the Goddess; how to make meaning of the Goddess and why that is important for modern women; and most important, they present the voices and experiences of women from many different traditions—not simply those of from the Judeo-Christian world. With these books, you can learn from multiple lineages and lineage holders such as Paula Allen Gunn, Gloria Anzaldúa, and Luisah Teish.

Four books I have not yet read but have been recommended to me by grad school collogues:

8)    “The Myth of the Goddess: Evolution of an Image” by Jules Cashford and Anne Baring.

9)    “The Chalice and the Blade” by Raine Eisler. A classic.

10) “The Spiral Dance” by Starhawk. An ecofeminist, permaculturist and Earth-based spirituality practitioner.

11)  “Dancing in the Flames” by Marion Woodman. She was a deeply treasured Jungian analyst and teacher who taught on the subject of feminine consciousness.

Goddess recommendations by tradition and goddess:

1)    Mary Magdalene

Okay, it’s no secret that I am a Mary Magdalene devotee and I could recommend book after book after book. But, knowing what I know now, here are three books that I would recommend people start with:

      “The Woman with the Alabaster Jar” by Margaret Starbird for a well-researched approach to Mary Magdalene as bride to Christ.

      “The Meaning of Mary Magdalene” by Cynthia Bourgeault for a mystical Christian approach.

      “The Gospel of Mary of Magdala” by Karen L. King for a thorough academic approach.

2)    Inanna & Ereshkigal

“Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth” by Diane Wolkenstein and Samuel Noah Kramer. A beautiful collaboration between folklorist and Assyriologist. Poetic, historical, and psycho-spiritual.

“Descent to the Goddess: A Way of Initiation for Women” by Sylvia Breton Perera. A feminist Jungian approach to meeting the unconscious feminine, or “underworld” goddess within. Mostly psychological, but also spiritual and historical.  

 “Uncursing the Dark” by Betty DeShong Meador. A reclamation of the wisdom of the goddess of death as well as the repressed aspect of women’s psyches and archetypal expressions; that which has been labeled “dangerous” by patriarchy.

3)    Greek Goddesses

“The Goddess” by Christine Downing. Full disclosure, she is a professor at my graduate institution.

4)    Pele

“Pele, Goddess of Hawai’i’s Volcanoes” by Herb Kawainui Kane

5)    Hinduism

“Awakening Shakti” by Sally Kempton. Love this book.

“The Goddess in India” by Devdutt Pattanaik

“Hindu Goddesses” by David R. Kinsley

People we see with our two naked eyes are of the Brahma, Yahweh, Khudah, etc., the Potters called Ghumiar have within them the Light of our Supernatural Father of our souls Ram, which we cannot "see" with our two naked natural eyes but we "perceive" through the Third Eye of Mind, Munn, Nafs, etc., through logical reasoning that Brews Logo called in Punjabi, “SATGUR (Formula of perceiving Satt = His Word) PARSAD (Nectar)”. A person sealed to serve God called Gurmukh/Mussllman (Pir Mian Mir Ji was a Gurmukh Sikh) and they perform "merciful" deeds (MUSSALLMAAN MOOM DILL HOWAE ANTTAR DI MALL DILL TAE DHOWAE – and not these liar Mohammedans). So, what we see with our two naked eyes is "true" or SACH but what we cannot "see" but we "perceive" through our "third eye" of logical reasoning is "Absolute TRUTH" called SATT = Logo or the Gospel Truth. That is why when a person dies, we chant, "RAM RAM SATT HAE", i.e. what was of the Ram, the true self of the person soul, has been taken away by Him, our Supernatural Father of our souls. As body is the reflection of Ram inside us, so are the moral teachings of Shri Ram Chander Ji that are based upon the Light of Supernatural Father Ram called Dhur Ki Baani or the Oral Torah that Scriptures, the written Torah = Vedas apply to our physical natural body or TANN – BRAHMA VED DIRRAROH; PAAP TAJAYIA Balram Jeo. King Ravan of Lanka had a perfect law and order and so Lanka used to be known a "heaven" to live in which now being called Sri Lanka, just the opposite in name, has become just the opposite of heaven, a hell to live in. Thus, Shri Ram Chander Ji, the Moon of Ram, Sun, was an Avtar/Prophet of "Vishnu, the educator". In the Doapar Yug came Shri Krishan Baldev Ji, a NEETI PARSHOTAM AVTAR.  As NEETI, political policies, are related to politics and as the name implies, "Krishan" stands for a "Ray of the Light of Vishnu" and "Baldev" means a "DEVTA of SHAKTI".
