Well, the attempt to carry the Cauldron away from the marsh and to Caer Dallban certainly puts what the Fellowship had to deal with in perspective. On one hand they had a lot further to go, and their artifact of evil was actively trying to corrupt and manipulate them while drawing in the forces of darkness. On the other hand, a ring is tiny. A whole lot easier to transport than a huge iron pot big enough to fit a full grown man, complete with large heavy handles and legs which manage to find a way to catch on everything in the worst possible manner. Or fall just right to cut or break the bones of its would-be destroyers.
Ain’t no way a couple of hobbits would have been enough to carry something like that across a swamp, through a cave, and up an active volcano. But well, no point in playing misery poker with your cursed objects of vile power. It’s not like Taran and company would have been able to succeed in destroying the One Ring.

i think my deal with pottery is that i basically need to throw pots for another 1000 hours at least before i get satisfied with the shape of them and also i need to look more into what kind of things you can make on the wheel because im not into vases that much. and im not interested in making my own tableware. and part of me feels like i will end up being like taran in the chronicles of prydain where he loved pottery. he loved the forms and the shapes made with the wheel. but even though he loved it he peaked low and knew he would never make a pot that he was satisfied with because he simply was not a potter

God Kabir was nurtured by the milk of a maiden cow
Supreme God Kabir didn’t eat or drink anything for 25 days. Neema became extremely distressed about this and remembered the Hindu deity Lord Shiva. Then by the secret inspiration of God Kabir, Shri Shiv Ji, in the attire of a Saint, came from his lok and asked Neema the reason for her being upset. Neema told him everything. Shri Shiv Ji took God Kabir Ji in his arms. Both the Gods talked seven times. As told by God Kabir Ji, Shri Shiv Ji asked Neeru to bring a maiden cow and a new pot. Same was done. Shri Shiv Ji patted on the back of the maiden cow. Just then, by the Blessings of God Kavirdev, the maiden cow gave milk. God Kabir Ji drank that milk. After this, that maiden cow used to daily give milk after putting the pot under her.
This evidence is in the nectar-speech of God Kabir Ji and Saint Garib Das Ji.
This shows that He only is the Creator and sustainer of the entire creation mentioned in the Holy Hindu Books. He is the Supreme God of all religions, including Hinduism, who does destroy the sins of His devotees, and changes their destiny.

taran came over and we had a lovely time, we both missed them and of course matt gets along with them absolutely swimmingly. they brought a bunch of little presents, pretty band aids and nice candies and gelt for sharing, and I got a little flower pot and a jellycat frog and a little pusheen plush macaron (arin got a matching one) and several very pretty rocks including a little one of those like sheets of purple crystals and an orange one they were given by a stranger at a bus stop and fun stickers from two artists and also a sketch of an opossum with a funny caption from one of them and a bracelet to go with my lolita dresses and a book they'd been talking up to me at some point. we also got to hear about alllll the drama in their life and I got to show them my fancy resin shinies (and also matt and arin too). and they made us a big batch of chocolate chip toffee cookies. it was very very nice to see them again, they isolated for several days and took a covid test before coming over because they wanted to make sure I would be safe.
I am tired and blechy from all the crying this morning, but arin and I worked together on the cornbread and the tidying for guest and she seems like she's doing okay. she and matt played mario party while I did lower-effort stuff cuz blech, then he went to bed.

Femslash February Book Recs List
It's Femslash February! I had forgotten all about it until today! With that in mind, here is a short list of book recs with femslashy stuff going on--some romance novels and some other.
Romance novels (and novellas):
Crash and Burn by Cynthia Dane and Hildred Billings--I'm always yelling about every book by Cynthia Dane and Hildred Billings (she does rich alpha sapphics like no other) but this book is the one of hers I've read most recently so today I'm yelling about it! A bodyguard romance BUT the romance is between two bodyguards, not bodyguard and protect-ee. Lots of conflicted sexual tension deriving from the fact that one MC (Stella) sleeps around a lot and the other MC assumes there's no way things between them could ever be serious. (And also bc Stella claims she could never be serious with a woman specifically, which is a whole other pot of fish.) Meanwhile there's a whole mystery going on in the background. And, since it's Cynthia Dane and Hildred Billings, a whole ton of kinky smut. The sexual tension may be conflicted but it is still burning hot.
Alone by E.J. Noyes--This is categorized as a romance in most places but you could also call it suspense. It's about a woman isolated in a cabin for an experiment on psychological reactions to isolation, and what happens when another woman stumbles into the arrangement. It's a kind of messed up story and I enjoyed the dysfunction of it all.
Fire Control by Elva Birch--Cute little novella about a dragon shifter (who has trouble shifting) and a firefighter who is her ~destined mate~.
Fantasy/sci-fi:
The Alpennia series by Heather Rose Jones--This is a historical fantasy romance series that leans heavy on the worldbuilding. Do you like religious magic systems? Do you like alchemy? Do you like bodyguard romances? Do you like players? Do you like asexual characters? Do you like people experimenting with their sexuality and sometimes deciding they're queer and sometimes not? Do you like opera? Do you like people with secretly noble parentage? Do you like crossdressing? Do you like major political intrigue as a backdrop to more minor personal intrigues? If you like any of these things, at least one book in the Alpennia series is probably for you. The first book is the most a romance, and then as the series progresses it becomes more focused on a whole web of characters and events. It's one of my favorite series of all time!
The Hadra series by Diana Rivers--a series about an all-female city of women with magical (pacifist, telepathic) abilities. Can get kind of violent and honestly a little misandrist and gender essentialist, although imo the series gets less so as it goes on. (First book was published in 1987, but the most recent entry in the series was published in 2012, so there's sort of a shift.) What I love about it is how many types of romantic (or purely sexual) relationships are explored within the series. I swear in the second book, the MC hooks up with at least four women that I can remember. It's very fun for a multishipper. The general vibe of the series reminds me of the book Taran, Wanderer if anyone's read that--all the MCs are working on self improvement as well as seeking love (and sometimes trying to save the world).
The Traitor Baru Cormorant--I think everyone's heard about this one, but it really is a great read for imperialism, political intriguing, and a complicated sapphic relationship (that ends pretty horribly, so just be warned!). Baru Cormorant is a great character and so is Tain Hu, her love interest. I haven't read the rest of the series but even as a standalone this book is fire.
This Is How You Lose the Time War--Again, you've probably heard of this one. But if you haven't, it's about two time-travelling agents of enemy forces, and them gradually falling for each other through a series of originally antagonistic correspondence. I think the writing style makes or breaks this book for people. For me, it made it.
The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon--There are four narrators in this book, only one of whom is involved in a f/f romance, but she just happens to be my favorite character in the book. She's a spy serving a queen who claims divine right to rule--the spy has her doubts about this kingdom's religious beliefs but belongs to an order that safeguards against the ~end times~ (evil dragon attacks) and therefore has been ordered to protect her just in case her whole divine inheritance schtick is legit and will turn out to be key to saving the world. She doesn't really believe in it, but she certainly has some feelings for the queen. Also she's a huge badass and I love her.
The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling--Possibly my favorite horror novel (its rival being The Shining), a book about a cave explorer and the woman monitoring (controlling, ruthlessly driving forward) her expedition. Note: the cave explorer spends the whole novel alone (??) in the caves (cue claustrophobia!) but the relationship between her and the other woman is still very central in the book, and it's quite dark. I love dark femslash and this book is one of few I've read that really does it for me <3
The Dyke and the Dybbuk by Ellen Galford--How to describe this. Uhh a demon from Jewish folklore starts trailing a taxi-driver with the intention of creating chaos. The taxi driver (Jewish but not super religious) falls for an Orthodox Jewish woman, and a number of misadventures ensue. Tone is kind of satirical, definitely humorous. A weird read but a good one.
Classics and literary fiction:
Loving Her by Ann Allen Shockley--First published in 1974, a groundbreaking novel about an interracial lesbian relationship. Can get kind of didactic but I love the couple and I think it makes some good points.
Sputnik Sweetheart by Haruki Murakami--Okay ngl the sapphic love here is unrequited and very literary and surreal and depressing. It also centers a lot on an outside perspective, that of a male narrator who is friends with the central lesbian. But it's Haruki Murakami, what do you expect? Estrangement, surrealism and outsider perspectives are all par for the course. I love the atmosphere of this book and I quite liked the main couple even though they don't really work out.
So, those are some femslashy books I would recommend. I'm including only books that I've read in the past couple years, and only books that I would definitely recommend. I actually discovered writing this list that my f/f reading has been down a bit in the past couple years, probably because I've been trying to expand my reading a bit (in years before, I read a ton of queer fantasy and romance, which was great but I'm trying to read more broadly lately, more literary fiction and more older books and books less focused on romance in general). Hm. I should look at my TBR and see what f/f books on it look good sometime soon.
(Because I actually have no self-control, though: Quick shout-out to some all-time favorites I read longer ago: Orphan #8 by Kim van Alkemade, The Color Purple by Alice Walker, Paper is White by Hilary Zaid, A Memory Called Empire by Arkady Martine, the Ieflaria series by Effice Calvin, A Treason of Truths by Ada Harper, and anything by Fiona Zedde but especially Nightshade and Hungry for It.)

- not a movie from my childhood, but I would watch the scene where Arthur takes the sword from the stone as a literal mistake in a Disney Christmas compilation dvd
- I love this movie. It’s slow but I like the cute animal transformations with life lessons aspect and of course the medieval aesthetic. Sleeping beauty, sword in the stone, Robin Hood and the black cauldron are carrying the medieval aesthetic of disney AND I WANT MORE.
- It’s stands with lady and the tramp as my 3rd fave movies from this era, only losing to Peter Pan and sleeping beauty
- I only watched this movie after becoming a Disney fan, so like in 2011/2012, and once went to a birthday party where we had to pick a movie to watch. I chose this one and insisted it was good. And it is but I think my friends were wanting something more modern and fun 😭😭😭😭 I guess it’s just not for everyone
- I wanna read/ watch more about these English tales of the Arthurian tales but idk where to look at cause I’m sure the books with the old English will be hard to understand and some adaptations have already bored me to death. Is the green knight from these legends? I watched the movie recently and it was just not for me. Dammit i guess I just wanted disney to cover it all cause the tales in it self are super interesting but probably told best with children in mind. At least for me
- Merlin always talking about future inventions is so funny to me 😭😭😭😭 this is a medieval setting and hes here talking about electricity, planes and even appears with sun glasses and a cap at the end kkkkkkkkkkk
- Love his relationship with the owl
- I love the messy backgrounds like when the color of the objects doesnt say inside the line art and love the rough sketchy line art of the animation
- Why are his family so mean to him 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I do love me some underdog zero to hero story tho 😌😏 they’ll be kissing Arthur’s feet at the end
- why is the wolf following him 💀 that boy is literally skin and bone 💀
- The sugar pot thing has so much personality and doesn’t even have face or speaking lines. I love Disney object characters
- Love Merlin being this old wise future knowing wizard but so clumsy and funny at the same time
- Arthur just shakes his head at everything Merlin says 😭😭😭
- That wolf is stressing me out since the beginning….. for Arthur’s life but for his own as well 😭😭
- Arthur is cinderella and Merlin his fairy godmother
- The owl only working under the threat of being transformed into a human 😭😭😭😭 wish I wasn’t human either
- I relate to the owl the most
- The lesson was going so well and then BOOM that ugly fish showed up. And here comes my poor owl to the rescue cause Merlin is so clumsy and forgetful 😭
- Arthur’s portuguese voice actor is the same as phineas and chat noir 😭😭😭 he sounds so young here. Pretty sure he’s mowgli and taran too. He was basically the actor chosen for young boy characters when he was young
- Want magic to wash my dishes too
- I love the squirrel’s scene so much 😭 its so beautiful and sad. Probably my fave scene.
- THE GIRL DESERVED BETTER 😭
- Arthur’s adoptive family is so mean loved seeing them as floor mops. Can’t wait for karma
- My dream is to be able to fly too. Damn Arthur has it so good. He’s experienced swimming and breathing under water and now flying…..
- Madam mim is so cute. Love her mischievousness and bickering with Merlin
- “I can be even uglier” “that must be hard” 😭😭😭 THAT WAS SO UNCALLED FOR
- The magic duel is so entertaining. They use so many animals and make good use of each of their strengths
- Love how the owl always goes around with his lil stand in when he want to look in the window
- He took the sword so casually 😭 poor baby boy
- But i really like this scene of the taking of the sword.
- Poor kid alone in the palace but everywhere outside people are shouting his name
- “They’ll make a movie about you” i love this meta thing going on
- I really like this movie. It’s just simple and sweet but with great lessons and the medieval aesthetic can never hurt me. Really wanna know more about the legends of Arthur and the knights of the round table. I hadn’t watched this movie in a long time, so there were scenes i didnt even remember but loved revisiting

More Disney Names, Non-Princess Edition:
Getting prepped for the Villains name post, I thought I'd follow up with a few that didn't fit into the official Disney Princess category! Notably, characters I consider *honorary* Princesses and Princes. So I'm going to include: Hercules, The Black Cauldron, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Atlantis, and Raya and the Last Dragon.
Same formula as last time, so let's dig in!
Tumblr media
Confirmed Canon (in Film or Outside Films)
Milo Thatch: the movie Atlantis literally just gives us his name. 😆
Kida: I'm pretty sure this was confirmed in the movie, but either way the Princess of Atlantis is canonically named Kidagakash Nedakh.
Esmeralda: Nothing is confirmed by Disney, buuuuut we can turn to the original novel by Victor Hugo. There she is born Agnes Guybertaut to a French prostitute named Paquette "la Chantefleurie" Guybertaut, but she gets kidnapped by the Roma (baby Quasimodo is left in her place) and renamed Esmeralda. Disney ditched this entire backstory, since... "kidnapped by gypsies" is pretty racist. Film Esmeralda seems to be full Roma instead of half, so I don't like "Esmeralda Guybertaut". I prefer to go with her mother's nickname as a nod to the book, thus calling her "Esmeralda Chantefleurie". It flows better off the tongue, and (if I remember my French) translates to something like "Singing Flower". Fits her beauty, compassion, and fiery wit. Maybe it's just me, but the image of a singing flower isn't weak. 😆
Captain Phoebus: I wish Phoebus was his surname so I could have more fun with it, but it's not. While his book version is a MAJOR tool (take Gaston up to 11 and you almost have the guy), the movie version is way better (I didn't like him as a kid, but honestly he's a decent dude). We can still take his full name from the novel though: Captain Phoebus de Chateaupers.
Constructed from Canon Info
Quasimodo: We have no idea what the Hunchback's birth name was, but his given name probably wasn't even Quasimodo. We could assume Frollo would be his surname after his murdering raper of a guardian Judge Frollo, but that A-hole wouldn't associate Quasi with himself. It makes more sense to give him an occupational surname such as Quasimodo LeSonneur ("Quasimodo the Bell-Ringer") since he is the Bell-Ringer of Notre Dame.
Hercules: We could go a lot of ways here. At the end of the movie, we could give him his actual constellation's name (Hercules Engonasin), son of Zeus (Hercules Zeusides), or Hercules Olympios. Pre-Hero he would probably be called Hercules Athinaios, since the Disney version grew up in Athens. Those are my best understandings of how Greek would work after a day of interweb research.
Megara: Two major options for Meg. Going by mythology, she could be Megara Creone (daughter of Creon). Otherwise she could be Megara Thebakis (Megara of Thebes).
Taran: the hero of The Black Cauldron isn't given a full name, but a mixture of the source material (Chronicles of Prydain novels) and googling Welsh gave me Taran Ceidwad Moch ap Dallben. I couldn't find a Welsh occupational name for Swineherd/Pigkeeper, but "Ceidwad Moch" should be the correct translation. Taran is a foundling/orphan, so traditionally he would be named for the place he was found. We don't know where exactly Dallben found baby Taran though, aside from a battlefield... So I included "ap Dallben" for "son of Dallben", Taran's adoptive mentor. Alternatively, "maes y gad" is supposed to translate to battlefield, so maybe Taran of the Battlefield could be his name.
Eilonwy: Princess Eilonwy of Black Cauldron is the daughter of Princess Angharad and a commoner, so I think she would likely take a matronym instead of a patronym. Full title would probably be Princess Eilonwy vch Angharad of House Llyr.
Iffy due to Lack of Canon Info
Raya: This is hard because we have so very little info... And I'm very, very unfamiliar with Southeast Asia. And it reaalllllyyy doesn't help that Kumandra is just a giant melting pot of SEA cultures. In English we could just call her something simple like "Raya of Heart" or "Raya, daughter of Benja". But those are pretty dumb? So I found on Wikipedia that Sumatran family names usually take the prefix Si-, but also sometimes Batu- or Huta-. I like how Batu- is close to Batuu with the whole Star Wars/Kelly Marie Tran connection, so I rolled with that. Google translated Heart to "Jantung" in Indonesian (basically had to pick a SEA language at random), so I've come up with "Raya Batujantung" to vaguely sorta mean "Raya of Clan Heart". That's the best I'm likely gonna get unless someone who is Southeast Asian can give us better options.
I'm with K.M. Tran on shipping Raya/Namaari as Disney's first lesbian princesses, so Namaari would normally take the place of a Disney Prince here... But I'm saving her for the Villains post.

How Barbossa and I felt watching most Raya/Namaari interactions.

Roommate Wanted Chapter 1 Roommate Wanted
A/N As promised, my new story for pride month. Jamie and Jenny are seeking a roommate for one of the restored rooms in Lallybroch. Claire is seeking a way out of the city and her ex. A perfect match. But then she falls for both of them and they for her. Now what?
AO3
She sees the advent in the bulletin board at the front of the shop. “Roommate wanted.” She reads through the other details.  A brother and sister have a room to let in their family home of Lallybroch.  She giggles to herself.  “The house has a name.” She thinks. But the offer is tempting. It is affordable and far away from the city and her troublesome ex. As her job doesn’t have a fixed local, it is perfect. She takes down the details and moves into the store to shop.

“Uggg! There has to be someone decent out there.” Jenny Fraser’ throws up her hands in frustration. The advent had been up merely a week but Janet Arabella Fraser is not known for her patience.

“There is. He just wasn’t it.” The lad seemed decent enough until he had asked if he could have a spot of Lallybroch”s farm land to grow some pot.  Jamie chuckles to himself as he recalls his sister’s reaction.

“And have my own mam come back and haunt me for allowing such on her land! Are ye a full nutter? You can go now.”  The lad had left in a hurry. Jenny in a temper is a sight to behold.

They are renting the other finished room to help with the bills as they continue the renovation on the rest of the old estate. So far, the great room, the kitchen, a loo and, the three bedrooms are done.. when finished, Lallybroch will be part home and part museum with a working farm.

“Let’s just hope we get someone other then crazies.”

“Chill Jenny. It is only been a week.”

When Claire gets home, she rings the number she wrote down for the room for rent. A strong Scottish male voice answers. “Hello Fraser residence.”

“Hi, I am calling about the room. My name is Claire Beauchamp.”

“Hello Claire.. it is still available. When would you like to come look at it? There is an application also. Sorry, I am James Fraser, Jamie.” Something in her voice made him feel swimmy headed.

“I can head out there now if that is convenient. Your sister is home?”

“Aye, Jenny is here. Would you like to talk to her?”

“I would. No offense it is just I was brought up to be safety conscious.”

“Non offense taken. It is smart.” She hears him walking. Then a muzzled conversation.

“This is Jenny Fraser. You are Claire Beauchamp?”

“Yes. Thank you Miss Fraser. I just needed to make sure you were there.”

“It is Jenny lass and you are already showing yourself smarter then the others that have asked after the room. Do you know how to get here?”

“Right outside Broch Taran, right?”

“Just so. Please ring if you get lost.”

“I will. Thank you Jenny.”

They ring off and she prepares to head out to what she hopes will be her new home.

It is far out in the Highlands. As she drives, the tension leaves her body and head. It is beautiful. Having moved here just a few years ago from London, following her ex, she hadn’t been this far out into Scotland yet. Her and Frank had settled in Glasgow and that was that. Some of her clients lived a bit farther out but when she is on a call for a birth, the scenery is the last thing on her mind.

With the break-up, she had moved to her own little flat but she still ran into him and her way to often. She had thought about moving back to England but hated leaving her mommies. Now she might not have to.

Following her GPS she pulls under an old stone arch and stares at the towering structure in front of her. “Holy shit! No wonder it has a name.” she says before parking and climbing out. She approaches the front stoop and climbs up to the door. Before she can knock, it is opened.

The man that stands in front of her is huge.  He is over six feet with a head full of red hair with curls she immediately envies. “Claire Beauchamp?”

“Yes, Jamie Fraser?”

“Aye, come in and meet my sister.” She is shocked by herself when she does. When she doesn’t insist that she come out first. The instant trust isn’t abused when they are only a few steps in and Jenny comes up.

She is her brother’s polar opposite. Where he is tall and light, she is small and dark, with a head full of dark hair and barely standing a bit over five feet. Their eyes are the same though. Bright blue and deep set with the look of a cat’s.

“Jenny Fraser, nice to meet you Claire. Please come in.” She takes her hand and she can do nothing but follow her. Jamie follows them.  “We have the great room done, the kitchen, a loo and, the three rooms above us.” She explains as she leads her into it.

“Oh!” Claire, partly raised by her archeologist uncle, is  immediately fascinating by the old wood and stone the fireplace with the original mantel, the old furniture truly, just the whole feel of the room. She walks over to the fireplace and squeals in delight at the old copper pot hanging from a hook in it. Jenny and Jamie just watch her.  She drops down to examine it.  “It is at least 300 years old.” She is awed.

“Just so lass. Original to the house. The house was built in 1712 by Brian Fraser for his bride. We are slowly restoring her to a home and museum.” Jamie explains.

“Amazing.” She runs her hand over the engraved name and date in the mantle. “Brian Fraser 1712” “My Uncle Lamb is an archaeologist. I spent summers and school holidays on digs with him.”

“Brilliant! You seem the perfect person to live here then.” Jamie is more enthralled by her by the second. His sister has to keep her eye on business.

“We have a bit of paperwork to do first.”

“Right.” She turns away from the mantle. “The application.”

“Aye.” She sits in the chair across from them and fills it out. It is a standard rental application, with questions about past landlords and job history. She hands it to them when done.

“You are a midwife.” Jenny states as they read over it.

“Yes. I deliver mostly at my clients homes but occasionally at the birth center. Pre-natal exams are also mainly done at home. Pregnancy isn’t a disease and I don’t treat it as such. Sorry, more then you asked. I was just explaining why I can leave so far outside of Glasgow.”

“That is an amazing profession. To bring life into the world.” Jamie comments. Jenny, who had never heard her brother ever speak of anything to do with pregnancy or birth before, gives him a strange look.

“It is. Traveling around like I did, I saw the necessity for women to have a good birth provider. To have someone to really be with them during that time. Sorry, it is my passion.”

“Why did you leave your last flat? You had been there three years.”

“It was Frank and I’s. He is my ex. When I caught him in our bed with his assistant, he is a professor, well, I just couldn’t stay there anymore. I moved into my own but, I keep running into him everywhere. Him and her. Makes it hard to move on. A bit easier if I don’t live on the city. Thought of moving back to London but don’t want to leave my mommies.”

“I am so sorry Claire. Men can be real clodheids. “

“That they can Jenny.” They grin at each other.

“Would you like to see the room?”

“One more question Jamie.” She looks back to her. “You wouldn’t ever wish to grow pot here would you?”

Claire looks at her shocked. “Ah no!”

They explain the reason she asked that. She laughs. “I can imagine the look on his face when you got on him!” she says through her giggles.

“It was epic..”

They then take her to see the room. It is perfect. She signs the lease and shakes both their hands. Then she heads to her old flat and prepares to move.

They should have adapted the Black Cauldron for OUAT. Now that would have been badass.
Of course they would have screwed it up, but the idea is still a good one.
I have an idea of the SwanQueen version...because I always do.
"So this pot thing is bad?" Emma looked between Regina and Gold.
"Yes Miss Swan, it is bad. Like an atomic bomb is bad."
Gold sighed. "Centuries ago, well before my time, the-" He hesitated, like he was afraid to even say the next words. "The Horned King and his Black Cauldron were sealed away in a vault. He was supposed to be erased, forgotten, lost to time. Even the heroes' names and lineage are lost. Some say sacrificed to keep him locked away. If the vault was somehow discovered and opened." God shuddered. "Even the Dark Ones fear him." He tapped his temple with a single finger. "They're screaming."
"Let me guess." Emma looked over at Regina. "This horny king was your great great grand uncle twice removed on your mother's side, of course."
Emma was half right. After a week of research and fighting an undead army they had figured it all out.
The forgotten heroes of ye olde days had gone their separate ways. Taran, a lowly pig farmer, had stayed a peasant and had peasant kids all the way down to a certain Miller, his daughter and now Regina. Meanwhile, and Emma was not sure why she was surprised, Princess Eilonwy was her super great grandmother. Because of course she-they were.
Apparently the meeting of the two heroic bloodlines had not only woke the bad guy, it had pissed him off. So now it was fairytale apocolypce time again. Yaaaaay.
Emma officially hated the fact that one awesome and never spoken of again one night stand with Regina had brought on the end of days.

Entirely without context: Taran giving Alphinaud a very deserved smack.
Teach the boy to take pot shots at Thancred while he’s not even there to defend himself. Hmph.

💉: Does your muse have a substance addiction? To what?
Taran smokes sometimes. Both cigarettes and pot, but he wouldn’t call it an addiction. It’s just an occasional thing
