Reunion - Buggy Comic continuation (kinda!)

I can see Buggy being a lot more of a complex character than he's given credit for. A lot of people say they can see him as narcissistic but I see him as the opposite? I can see him having really bad impostor syndrome and insecurities he would never show anyone.

But in your dreams, these kinds of feelings and thoughts just flow out, you know? And he can't hide them from Roger.

This is a bit of a continuation to my last Buggy comic, but very indirectly so. It's more like... what I feel he needs to feel better.

I may make more, but I'm not actually sure as of yet.

I love the ideas from these people from this post of mine

Because Buggy is feeling insecure about his usefulness in the Roger Pirates and so Oden decides to teach Buggy to translate the poneglyphs. Is it out of pity or Oden thought Buggy is probably one of the only people outside his clan that might have the ability to read the poneglyphs.

Just thinking that Buggy would be able to understand the Ancient Forbidden Language from the Void-Century like in two or three weeks is so funny to me. Just Shanks and most people being so confused how Buggy could understand that fast and then Buggy being confused how the ancient language is something that's so hard to understand for most people.

NIKA X LUNALA READER

Let me tell you off the two gods who fought for people for freedom and fell in love. Once upon time, people were used to be slave.

Severs orders, to their oppressive master. There was no hope for them, but one day, a mythical warrior came and freed all slave people.

His name is nika. Nika was a Sun God, he bring everyone to joy with his smile and his drum. Nika was made of rubber. He can stretch his whole body. And nika has a nickname joyboy, the slave called him. Cause how joy he brings.

Nika name was spread rumors about him. And slaves were hoping that nika would come and free them too.

When nika freed the slave.

One of the slave told Nike that he looked like someone, a woman who is a moon goddess. nika didn't know there was a moon goddess before.

So nika looked for the moon god, the slave told him where to find her. The moon goddess always dances at night when the moon shines bright.

Then he looked for the moon goddess cause he was ingenious about the moon goddess. And nika finally found her.

A beautiful woman, name lunala. Lunala is a gorgeous woman. She is a moon god, her hair is filled with tiny stars, pruple and flowy hair.

(P.S. THIS IS YOUR OUTFIT, I FORGOT WHAT IT CALLED.)

Lunala can transform any kind of animal with their ability, and her favorite animal look like a bat. But it is much bigger.

It has a skeletal, legless bat. It has a short snout, dark pink eyes with white centers, and a deep blue area on its upper head that shows a constantly changing starscape.

Nika fell in love with lunala. He wouldn't stop thinking of her, nika decided to greet her.

As he walks to lunala, she is still dancing. Lunala noticed nika and stopped dancing, "who are you?" Lunala, ask.

"I'm nika! Sun of God and mythical warrior!" He said, lunala chulked, making nika blush. "I'm lunala, the moon goddess, a mythical shapeshift," she said.

"My people told me about you, and I was thinking if you would like to help them," said nika. Lunala thought about it, and axcept nika effort.

Now, nika and lunala are unstoppable, set free all slave. Defeat all bad people.

Then, nika confuses lunala, his feelings, and lunala axcept.

And this is what lunala said to nika.

"Whether death or life, you're the one I longed by my side"

"And that the story?" Roger asks, Sofia (p.s. asl x black mother) nodded her head. "Woah! So that what your grandmother told you?!" oden, ask.

"Yeah, we always keep asking her to give us a different story, but our grandma keeps repeating the same story," said enma (Sofia old sister).

"Sofia, you good at telling story ," said Shanks as he tried to flirt Sofia, Jack smack Shanks head. (Sofia older brother).

"Ow!" Shanks screamed, "Say I'm very surprised that you kids know about nika and lunala," said neptune.

FEW DAY PAST

Roger finally found the one piece. he and his crew laugh, and tears come out. "Joyboy... Lunala... I wish I'd been born in the same era as you two!" Roger yelled.

"HAHA! How could you two leave this stupendous treasure! It's such a funny story... Hey, everyone..." Roger said.

His crew looks at a confused look on their faces. "Why don't we name this last island where no man could reach for 800 years something like... Laugh Tale!" Roger yelled.

BONUS

There more characters talk about nika and lunala!!!

Okey, let's say your cousin name Luz. Went to wano and told the child hiyori about lunala after hearing hiyori her song shamisen called Moon Princess.

"So lunala can transform any type of creature!?" Hiyori yelled, with sparkle on her eyes. Luz nodded her head.

"Yes, and she always makes sure that everyone dreams are good and when someone has a bad dream. Lunala will stop the nightmare away!" Said Luz

"Wow! If I see lunala, will she like my music?" Hiyori asked, "well, let find out!" Said luz.

The next is who's who talks about lunala and nika.

"Hey, you... listen to me for a minute..." said who's who, jinbe listen carefully. "When I was behind bars, I heard this story. As I received severe punishment, I was mockingly told to pray for salt. To the sun and moon gods, lunala and nika! They're legendary warriors of the ancient times who slaves believed..." he said

"...would free them one day. I don't know if they really exited. A warrior who would make you laugh and put you out of your misery. Imprisonment felt like forever. So I hung on to this strange legend."

"Thinking 'I don't care who it is. Just help me!'" Said who's who, "what does that have to do with me?" Jinbe, ask. "I heard that sun pirates you once led had members... who used to be slaves!" Said who's who.

Jinbe looks at him with anger face.

The next one is bonney reading a book about lunala and nika.

Bonney was fascinated about the sun and the moon gods.

"It's close to the moon and the sun, so maybe we'll see nika and lunala up there! You'd love that, right dad?" Said bonney as she looked at her dad.

Celebrating your birthday with Roger (and his crew)

Soo today it's my birthday and what better way than to celebrate it with Roger? I was going to have Robin too, but Roger possessed 100% of my mind

▹Roger is the type who loves a holiday and parties, any excuse he has to party and drink he loves it

▹He counts the minute until midnight to say happy birthday to you

▹Nobody can give you happy birthday before him is the rule, once Shanks e Buggy gave you before Roger in his front and they ended up grounded on the ship for a month (they swear it was worth it)

▹If you like parties oh dear, he'll throw the biggest one just for you

▹It'll be a surprise and with the whole crew involved in it, he spares no expense

▹Roger will keep a secret from you and he's good at it, you don't even suspect something when he takes you for a walk on the island they docked

▹You don't know, but without a doubt there's someone on the crew clearing the way for the two of you

▹He'll go to all the stores he knows you'll like and buy everything you look at

▹Exaggerated but he just wants to see you smiling and happy that day

▹When you two get back to the ship it's already dark and all the lights are off

▹Then out of nowhere the whole crew comes screaming your name

▹They hug you and give you congratulations and a mountain of gifts

▹The party is almost the same as any other at Oro Jackson, but the difference is that everyone gathers around you to praise you, tell stories about you and hear you talk

▹At the end of the party, when everyone is almost passed out from drinking so much, Roger gives a little speech (he loves making speeches)

▹He talks about how important you are to him, how he loves every little part of you and that he couldn't bear not having you with him

▹It's too cute and doesn't suit him at all

▹Now, if you don't like parties or celebrating your birthday, he will respect that

▹Will ask if you have a reason behind it, if you do or don't it's okay, he will respect if you want to talk or not too

▹He'll try to plan something, maybe a dinner or a picnic

▹Roger will only accept Rayleigh's help because he know his crew can't keep their mouths shut around you and even if they could, they would talk to you just to annoy their captain (that's why at surprise parties he takes you on a walk away from the crew)

▹Rayleigh will probably tell him that it's better to ask you, what you like and what you want to do, probably

▹He tries to spend all day with you, even trying to participate in your hobbies

▹With or without a party, Roger will do everything to see you happy and smiling

hi!! I noticed you didn’t have anything for roger so hey, why not? Could I request a lil Drabble or headcanons of roger and rayleigh with a VERY nervous/jumpy gn S/o? I have ptsd and HATE being touched, and tend to jump or snap at anything that touches me unexpectedly, and I tend to get panicked easily if I feel cornered. I always wondered how those two do with that sorta thing! Tysm!!

a/n: hello hello, the main reason i didn't have anything for roger was because i'm not too familiar with him haha, but this is something i can relate to to an extent! i've been going to the same hairdresser for years but without fail every time he touches my shoulder to let me know it's my turn in the chair i flinch 🥲 (on the flip side though i do like touch a lot, just not when it’s unexpected ;; )

ah well i’m not too familiar with these characters yet, so in any case i hope you still like it! ;w;/

Roger

He’s loud, he’s imposing, he’s there - when Roger steps in a room everyone knows it, not just because of his size but also the weight of his presence - and I don’t mean Haki either

Roger’s very touchy around the people he cares about, his crew, the red and blue runts that have more or less become his sons, and any partner he has as well; he has a lot of love and only wants even more to share it

To someone who doesn’t quite share the same sentiment, though, this is... less than ideal

There would be mis-steps at first, big and small, with Roger’s nature potentially giving his partner a serious although unintended scare, but he’s a quick and keen learner (not to mention incredibly apologetic, prostrating to you in his quarters until Rayleigh smacked him to quit the theatrics)

Roger’s usually aware of how imposing he is, but after the first incident he’s much more careful - he never takes any snapping to heart and as an added bonus Rog takes up a lot of space when he sits down, so it’d just be you and him close together if you feel like you’re up for the contact

Roger always leaves the reigns in your hands, mindful of being too overwhelming by accident again, but can never quite hide his joy when you do show him affection, grinning as brightly as the sun itself when you brush your hand against his face in the morning, allowing him to gently kiss the back of it before either of you are quite fully awake

Rayleigh

Rayleigh on the other hand would have a keen eye for this, picking up on it from the start, making sure there was always an adequate amount of distance between the two of you and announcing his coming/goings so you’d never be spooked or surprised by him

Perhaps even a little too well, however, he realizes when you ask him late one night after everyone’s hit the hay, all cuddled up in one giant pile on the deck while you made yourself comfortable in a small nook away from much of the noise, if this quirk of yours made him dislike having you as a partner

He’s quick to realize his mistake, calmly reaching out a hand to take or reject at your leisure; Rayleigh explains how it was never his intention to alienate you in any way, how he only wanted to make sure you could feel safe around him given how touchy-feely and ‘in everyone else’s shit’ the rest of the crew tended to be, much like their captain

Rayleigh is used to being the one to initiate any contact if at all, so he’s grateful for what small hints you’re comfortable showing him from time to time, like falling asleep on his shoulder, where he fights himself internally on whether or not to give your snoozing head a little kiss - his heart eventually wins out, planting a quick one to your hair before you or anyone else saw
