I love the ideas from these people from this post of mine
Because Buggy is feeling insecure about his usefulness in the Roger Pirates and so Oden decides to teach Buggy to translate the poneglyphs. Is it out of pity or Oden thought Buggy is probably one of the only people outside his clan that might have the ability to read the poneglyphs.
Just thinking that Buggy would be able to understand the Ancient Forbidden Language from the Void-Century like in two or three weeks is so funny to me. Just Shanks and most people being so confused how Buggy could understand that fast and then Buggy being confused how the ancient language is something that's so hard to understand for most people.
they are the Daimyo that served Oden. Honestly knowing this and looking back to what they said to Yamato just makes the scene even more meaningful. They loved Oden and they love their country, so when they see this child who loves their lord as much as they do they are happy. I also love that they got to see Oden's journal before dying, so they were able to see they same hope that their lord saw before their deaths.

This song came up on my fyp as the first TikTok I saw after watching the Gol episodes and it couldn't stop crying and I thought to myself "One day, I will stop falling in love with characters introduced as dead." Surely one day my heart will learn that flashbacks that START in death will also end in them, right? I was going to include the first incident of this happening, Noland, but then the vibes became this because it was a raw, fresh feeling. It will forever amaze me how Oda can make you feel for characters with reverse storytelling. Also yes, I am aware that it kinda looks like a shipping edit at the start and i have made my peace with that because it ended up like a little found family edit so it's whatever. Anyway 28 One piece edits??!! That's crazy! How did i get so lucky to be hit 28 times with One piece specific inspiration? We'll never know.
