i know tommy is a tertiary character or whatever but after rewatching all the begins i desperately want to hear him talk more about that time at the 118 from his perspective. i want to know if he was afraid! i want to know if he wasn’t! how much did he know about himself by then, an inkling? nothing at all? all of it?? i want to know about his guilt and bridging the gap to friendship and if having made amends back then feels any different now that he isn’t hiding anymore…

Just saw a person say that Cleopatra wasn't black because she was Greek..... As if there weren't black people in Greece ever........

she was Macedonian Greek, Macedonia is rather notably between Turkey and Serbia.

I can’t exactly confirm she was black, but I would say her being white is rather unlikely. In general most Ancient Greeks weren’t white, their history has largely been whitewashed due to white nationalists fetishizing Greco Roman culture, or the idea of it anyway.

#Even modern Greece is so Far East in Europe it’s practically reaching across the sea to touch the westernmost parts of Asia #why do you think Greeks are often described in writing as having olive skin and dark eyes and curly hair #there were white people in Greece sure but there were a lot of brown people too #most Ancient Greeks were likely mixed because white purity wasn’t a concept at that time
