5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I try to! Granted I don't always, but when I get a comment asking a question, or one that particularily touches me, I usually respond. But even when I don't, I read and reread every single one.
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I'd say as a whole, I'm not interested in angst without pay off. I'll absolutely drag my stories through the angstiest plotlines imaginable, and I'll do it gleefully, but there is nearly always some sort of pay off in an ultimate happy ending. That said, if we're looking at fics as individual stories (particularily in the case of Watercolour as a whole series), I'd say the angstiest might be Arctic or Au Revoir
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
If I'm measuring the happy ending in terms of the angst it took to get to it, definitely Light Me A Lantern.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I think the closest I've gotten is misunderstandings? Particularily when it comes to how I write Dick Grayson's lineage in Watercolour. I've had misunderstandings where people thought I was erasing his Romani identity and making him Romanian instead, when I write him as both - there is a lot of Romani history and a huge population in Romania, and I decided to play into that. Sometimes it gets lost in translation so to speak.
9. Do you write smut?
When I feel like it!
10. Do you write crossovers?
I used to, not really so much anymore.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of! Ngl I'd be pretty upset.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes! The incredible @minakok translated Light Me A Lantern into Spanish (Enciéndeme un farolillo) and @eldescensoseduce has been chipping away at translating the beast that is Watercolour into Spanish as well. The first two chapters of Un Giorno Per Noi has been translated into Chinese as well!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I've had beta readers and been a beta reader and had an absolute blast with both - but in terms of actually sitting down, plotting out and writing something together with someone? Not yet. Although the closest thing has probably been the roleplay I've been writing with a friend over discord. That beast has AUs of AUs.
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
Don't do this to me.
15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I don't want to say I doubt I ever will because I really really want to, but... I have to say Der Unsterbliche Preis.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I would say dialogue and writing actions sequences. They're both things that I've struggled with in the past and worked very hard to figure out how to do properly.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I think I still struggle with pacing at times. I don't want to rush into the action and the exciting stuff so sometimes I draw it out more than I really need to and the pacing gets away from me.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
All for it! If I'm using a language I'm not familair with, I'll translate it back and forth a few times trying to make sure I have the nuances as close as I can get to accurate, and I always include translations in the notes. However, if it's a long scene of dialogue, I will just write in that the characters have switched languages, just to make thinks flow better. I don't want to have to scroll up and down the page constantly when I'm reading.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Oh god. It was either Digimon or Pirates of the Carribean. Eons ago.
20. Favourite fic you've ever written?
This is painful. I definitely have my top fics, the ones I'm most proud of, but Un Giorno Per Noi is a fic that I have reread every christmas since I finished it, so by a percentage of a margin, I'll say that one. Close behind are Light Me A Lantern and Terminal Velocity.

["Noi, i ragazzi dello zoo di Berlino - Christiane F.]
Trovare una citazione adatta per aprire lo spin-off "Danish Cub" non è stato semplicissimo.
Le indecisioni erano numerose (quale messaggio trasmettere? quale emozione evidenziare?), tranne che su un particolare: sapevo già che avrei tratto un passaggio dall'autobiografia di Christiane F., il primo testo che mi ha avvicinata alle letture riguardanti l'abuso di sostanze stupefacenti o la condizione di dipendenza fisica e mentale.
All'inizio credevo che sarebbe stata adatta una frase di Christiane sulla sua condizione di prigionia nei confronti della droga, poi però considerai la tragedia attorno alla quale ruota questo primo spin-off di Siberian Cub: la morte per overdose.
Così, sfogliando la mia copia ingiallita e mezza disintegrata di "Noi, i ragazzi dello zoo di Berlino", trovai proprio quello che cercavo: la piccola e tragica lettera d'addio che Atze, una delle tante giovani anime stroncate dalla piaga della tossicodipendenza, ha scritto prima di togliersi la vita.
La ri-pubblicazione di "Danish Cub" è dedicata alla memoria di tutti coloro che sono stati sconfitti da questa lotta e a quelli che ancora la stanno affrontando.

Netflix Festival Japan 2021: una valanga di novità dall’Anime Day
Annunci, trailer e date di debutto per il 2022 della piattaforma, all’insegna dell’animazione giapponese.
Di seguito trovate tutte le, numerosissime, novità presentate da Netflix durante la diretta streaming della prima delle due giornate del Netflix Festival Japan 2021, tutta dedicata agli anime.
LE BIZZARRE AVVENTURE DI JOJO: STONE OCEAN

I primi 12 episodi dell’attesissima nuova serie basata sulla sesta parte della celebre saga generazionale ideata da Hirohiko Araki, il cui popolarissimo manga è edito in Italia da Star Comics, arriveranno in streaming dal 1 dicembre.
Inizialmente il Media Center di Netflix riportava una distribuzione mensile, ma ora quella dicitura è sparita.
TIGER & BUNNY 2
La seconda stagione dell’originale serie supereroistica sarà composta sempre da 25 episodi e arriverà in streaming divisa in due parti: i primi 13 episodi saranno disponibili a partire da aprile 2022.
THERMAE ROMAE NOVAE
La nuova serie animata ispirata al manga “Thermae Romae” di Mari Yamazaki, farà il suo debutto sulla piattaforma nel 2022.
Il protagonista, Lucius, sarà interpretato da Kenjio Tsuda (Tatsu in La via del grembiule - Lo yakuza casalingo).
KAKEGURUI TWIN
Annunciata la produzione, sempre da parte dello studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Dorohedoro), di una serie animata tratta dal manga prequel di “Kakegurui”, edito in Italia da J-POP Manga.
A differenza della serie principale, questo fumetto ha come protagonista Mary Saotome, che sarà interpretata ancora una volta da Minami Tanaka (Nitocris in Fate/Grand Order The Movie: Divine Realm of the Round Table - Camelot).
GHOST IN THE SHELL SAC_2045
Confermata una seconda stagione per la nuova serie animata in computer grafica della celebre saga fantascientifica, diretta da Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) assieme a Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed Alpha).
I nuovi episodi debutteranno globalmente nel corso del 2022.
THE SEVEN DEADLY SIN: GRUDGE OF EDINBURGH

Annunciato un nuovo film d’animazione in computer grafica ispirato al popolare manga shonen fantasy di Nakaba Suzuki, edito in Italia da Star Comics. La pellicola avrà come protagonista Tristan, il figlio di Meliodas, e racconterà una storia inedita scritta dall’autore.
Il film prodotto dagli studi MARVY JACK e ALFRED IMAGEWORKS sarà diviso in due parti, che verranno distribuite nel corso del 2022. La regia è affidata a Bob Shirahata (Hetalia World Series), sotto la supervisione di Noriyuki Abe (The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky), mentre della sceneggiatura si sta occupando Rintaro Ikeda (The Seven Deadly Sins: Il giudizio del drago).
EXCEPTION
L’originale serie horror sci-fi diretta da Yuzo e sceneggiata da Hirotaka “Otsuichi” Adachi (My Capricorn Friend, Summer Ghost, Goth) debutterà in streaming nel 2022.

Svelato un nuovo teaser trailer per la seconda stagione della serie animata, che sbarcherà su Netflix nella primavera 2022.
L'adattamento in computer grafica si basa sull’omonimo manga di Eichi Shimizu e Tomohiro Shimoguchi (il duo dietro Linebarrels of Iron), edito in Italia da Star Comics, ispirato a sua volta allo storico supereroe protagonista della popolare serie tokusatsu anni ‘60 di Tsuburaya Productions.
VAMPIRE IN THE GARDEN
Il debutto dell’originale serie animata targata WIT STUDIO (Ousama Ranking, Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song) è stato spostato al 2022. Le due protagoniste della storia, Momo e Fine, saranno interpretate rispettivamente da Megumi Han (Atsuko Kagari in Little Witch Academia) e Yuu Kobayashi (Noi in Dorohedoro).
l progetto sta venendo diretto da Ryotaro Makihara (L’impero dei cadaveri, Hal) con l’assistenza di Hiroyuki Tanaka (Claymore). Il character design e il comparto animazioni sono supervisionati da Tetsuya Nishio (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations), mentre le musiche sono composte da Yoshihiro Ike (Takt Op. Destiny).
DETECTIVE CONAN

Netflix ha annunciato che distribuirà in esclusiva gli adattamenti animati di “The Culprit Hanzawa” e “Zero’s Tea Time”, due spinoff di “Detective Conan” che per il momento non hanno una data di debutto.
Il primo è un gag manga ad opera di Mayuko Kanba, che ha come protagonista la classica silhouette del colpevole misterioso, che incontriamo sempre nelle varie storie del celebre investigatore di Gosho Aoyama.
Il secondo ci porta invece dentro la vita quotidiana dell’uomo dalle molteplici identità, conosciuto come Bourbon, super agente degli Uomini in Nero, Rei Furuya, agente segreto della NPA e Toru Amuro, detective privato nonché cameriere del Café Poirot.

Mostrato un primo teaser trailer per l’anime tratto dal manga slice of life “Kotaro wa Hitorigurashi” di Mami Tsumura, che arriverà su Netflix nel corso della primavera 2022.
La serie sta venendo diretta da Tomoe Makino (Woodpecker Detective's Office) presso gli studi LIDENFILMS (Tokyo Revengers, Cells at Work! Black) e la sceneggiatura è stata affidata a Yu Sato (Space Battleship Tiramisu).
Il piccolo Kotaro è doppiato da Rie Kugimiya (Kagura in Gintama), mentre Toshiki Masuda (Eijiro Kirishima in My Hero Academia) ha il ruolo di Shin Karino, il mangaka che abita vicino al bambino.

Il nuovo anime sci-fi del regista e sceneggiatore Mitsuo Iso (Denno Coil), dal titolo “Chikyugai Shonen Shojo” (Extra-Terrestrial Boys and Girls), arriverà in streaming sulla piattaforma dal 28 gennaio 2022.

I would sell me newborn-child for you to write another Hetalia Gerita story...I mean what happend? Un giorno per noi was MAGICAL- Why did that passion stop? You may not realize it but that story is the mona lisa of my life, it's been 2 years and i've still got an obsession with that story!!! <333
Oh Anon believe me the passion didn't stop. I still want to finish the sequel I started (Der Unsterbliche Preis) at some point in the future. I have the whole thing plotted out and I still open up the document and pick at it from time to time. It's just been about time and other projects taking it up.

"Eu odeio esse lugar." Brasília rosnou em voz baixa, braços cruzados e mal humorado. GO estalou a boca.
"DF, não seja assim, uai! Vai te matar ficar umas horas sem esse celular?"
"Vai!"
"Deixa ele pra lá, quem mandou esquecer o carregador portátil." Goiânia revirou os olhos, se servindo de bolo de milho. "Cê mima demais ele, pai."
"Mimo nada, é ele quem tá na fase, já já passa."
"Que fase?"
"Fase rebelde." Campo Grande murmurou em entendimento. São Paulo bufou, voltando da cozinha com um prato de pães na chapa.
"Cuidado hein, tem uns que entram nela e nunca mais saem."
"A capital de alguns que o diga." MG cutucou, colocando as garrafas térmicas com café recém feito na mesa. "Alguém mais vai querer leite?"
"Todos nós já tivemos nossa fase rebelde." MT se espreguiçou e deu um tapa nas costas de Cuiabá, fazendo o mais novo pular de susto da posição em que quase dormia. Belo Horizonte quase se engasgou com uma risada, cabelos ainda meio desarrumados pelo sono.
"Mas que diacho, homem! Tu tá doido, é?"
"Pra aprender a ficar esperto!"
"Ara, sô…"
"Hm." São Paulo capital murmurou seu bom dia, tomando o antigo lugar de MG ao lado de SP na mesa inconscientemente.
"Pensei que não ia acordar." O Estado colocou os pães que fez para a cidade, servindo café também. "Pingado?"
"Uhum."
"Como vocês podem ficar tão tranquilos com a possibilidade de passar o fim de semana inteiro sem luz?" Brasília tinha o cenho franzido, cortando seu bolo de milho com uma faca como se estivesse cometendo um crime. "Bando de selvagens."
"Pelo mesmo motivo que a gente não te amarra num burro e te manda de volta pro Brasil: paciência!" SP fez uma careta pior que a da capital brasileira.
"A gente realmente não pode fazer isso?" Goiânia suspirou, balançando a cabeça com falsa tristeza.
"Tadinho do DF, ele num sabe o que é viver no interior sem regalias." BH deu um tapinha consolador no ombro do mais novo. Cuiabá saía da mesa arrastando os chinelos, uma xícara de leite na mão.
"Vou deit-AH… No sofá um pouquinho." Bocejou no meio da frase, se jogando com os olhos fechados em cima de um dos móveis.
Alguns momentos de silêncio se fizeram na mesa, entre bocejos, sons de garfos e xícaras e conversas de olhares silenciosos.
"Nós realmente estamos sem previsão de energia?" Após a terceira xícara de café, São Paulo capital finalmente pareceu acordar.
"Para nossa desgraça!"
"O gerador da vila danificou, estão enviando um técnico da cidade pra consertar. Mas até eles chegarem…" MG, sentado agora na ponta da mesa, respondeu, encarando um pedaço meio de queijo minas com goiabada na mão.
"Você também não sabe o que é viver sem tecnologia, não é?" Campo Grande piscou inocentemente para o primo, interessado de repente.
"Vocês acham que em 1600 eu andava pelo sertão de moto, né." A capital paulista revirou os olhos.
"A resposta é sim."
"Pai, 'meo!"
"O que, 'meo?"
"Gente velha…" Goiânia se levantou também, prendendo seus cabelos compridos com uma piranha.
"Essas tecnologias de hoje em dia tanto ajudam quanto estragam os outros." MT refletiu, focado em cortar as migalhas de pão em pedaços menores com a ponta da faca.
"Que que nois vai fazer de almoço hoje?" MS começou a recolher os pratos sujos, empilhando as canecas. Campo Grande se apressou para ajudá-lo também.
"O que tiver na geladeira, uai." MG coçou a barba, olhando inquisidor para o paulista. "O que tem na geladeira?"
"Se for carne, tem que comprar mais." O sul matogrossense levantou a voz para ser ouvido do outro cômodo.
"Como cê chama esse tanto de gente pra vir e não faz compras antes, homem?"
"Minhas cidades passaram aqui essa semana e não estocaram de volta, uai, que que eu posso fazer."
"Vamos morrer no meio do mato, no calor infernal dessa terra, sem comida, sem tecnologia, sem esperança…" Brasília deitou sua testa na mesa. "Eu odeio esse lugar."
"Falando em falta de esperança." BH contou algo nos dedos. "Paraná não deveria ter chegado também?" Silêncio.
"Será que…"
"Ele com certeza está perdido." Um sorriso divertido nasceu no rosto de MT, olhando para os outros. "Apostam quanto que ele já deve ter ido parar no Paraguai?"
"Naná deve estar atrasado, só isso. Estamos em 2021, é impossível ele ter se perdido com um GPS." Nem mesmo SP parecia tão convencido do que dizia, já massageando a ponte do nariz com uma dor de cabeça emergindo. "Ele está com Curitiba também."
