!!SPOILERS!! for season 1 finale/specifically episode 77

Okay so this is my first listen through of the magnus archives (i don't usually do horror, my overactive imagination makes it hard for me to sleep, ive been alright as long as i dont listen past 10pm lol, but wolfy really won me over with their fanart so here i am) and i adore Sasha, she's probably my favorite of the main crew

having said that I did get myself spoiled on not-sasha ahead of time while looking at something on the wiki (i think i recognized a name and was looking at something for continuity reasons? i dont remember), either way i noticed the change in sasha immediately at the start of season 2.

well, with context out of the way, ive just reached the episode with the ghost hunter that makes jon realize that something is wrong with her, and i really love the moments when jon's hard exterior breaks for a moment and you can see that he does care for the others. basically the point of this post is for me to yell about how excited i got when he immediately started looking into it, and i genuinely teared up when he couldn't get himself to say that she had been killed (and the finality at the end when he says hes going to figure out how to kill not-them to avenge sasha UGH it was so good i love it when the "emotionless" "cold" characters love their friends its so great)

also on the line of spoiling things i know vaguely about the Fears, but not enough about how they work (i realized what i was getting into and stopped looking into for spoiler reasons) but hearing gertrude mention The Stranger directly was cool i cant wait for jon to learn more about them so I can learn more about them lol

The Magnus Archives Fear Entities 6/15- The Stranger

The Stranger is easily in the top three fears for me. Maybe because it’s such a looming threat in seasons 2-3 and gets a lot of focus, but I think it’s also largely because the concept is just absolutely horrifying. This drawing is one of my favorites I've done with this series, and editing all the mouths and eyes was so much fun! (yes they are all taken from photos of me--)
