Marina doesn’t own just one Hobonichi, she bought one each year afterwards. A 6 is her favorite size (in the avec version) to use it as an art journal for watercolor doodles and drafts for new outfits. Washitape and little notes from her friends are also often included. The most used cover of her is the rose poudré one since is contains her two favorite colors:
Elex on the other hand also always used a little calendar for her daily to do’s and appointments. But she hated it that all markers bled through the thin paper when she wanted to highlight certain things. Marina asked her if she wanted to give the ‘Nichi’ a chance since she’d would buy one for next year herself. Well, why not? Elex already tried the paper quality when she decorated a page for Marina and was amazed that nothing came through the paper. She just wanted her to get her the book (also in A 6 since it’s a handy size), nothing more. But since Marina already went to japan, she couldn’t resist buying her a *used* cover as a present that would fit her taste, the tambourine black cover:
Maybe there are even more candies out here using a hobonichi or like stationary? :D I was happy to see that @sakurina-mcl Sakurina also has one ♥

I was so excited to make this because I've been wanting an excuse to draw BTS atm- in this case Jimin. One thing I was really proud of was getting Jimin's name on the gun like D.Va does on her's! 🤟"

"Yes, I’m a BTS army 😂 and yes, I was hype for their new MV. I loved everyone’s outfit in this video (cause it was a throwback to the classics) but the one that stood out to me more was Taehyung’s outfit."

"I’ve been meaning to upload this Elvin Girl I drew more than a year ago but for some reason I never did 🤔
This came out of a daily sketch from class and we had a free week prompt and that spring semester last year was really taking a toll on me.

"This summer...was a struggle. Honestly I’ve been working at day camp for too long and it really sucks the energy out of ya after spending 8 weeks with kids 😅
I had zero inspiration this summer which really is a bummer for me. Next year will be totally different hopefully.
On a lighter note, my friend let me draw on her iPad with her Apple Pen! I 👏🏼 LOVED 👏🏼 IT 👏🏼 Honestly I wish I also had them so I could do more digital art but ALAS. So because my friend is so awesome she let me draw my cat, Leo, in his older age~~"

Wow it's my profile picture! So I never got to share these up in front, only except the one with the long hair on Instagram. I cut my hair in the spring of 2018 for the first time and ever since then have not grown it back super long anymore. I may need to change my profile picture now!

"I've been struggling all summer to draw something but I never feel happy with what I come up with. I came up with the conclusion that it's my style. I wasn't completely happy with the style I had so I tried to experiment different styles.
I'm trying out this style for now and hopefully I get used to it and like it overall. You'll see some changes in my upcoming illustrations."
