Fallout: New Vegas is the best RPG ever made. Despite, its outdated graphics and clanky animations, its quests, dialogue and gameplay options are unparalleled. It also has one of the my favorite video characters, Joshua Graham; and I like him so much that I decided to draw one of the posters he is in, using acrylics.

grosse pointe blank sort of au where ghost and soap knew each other in childhood, and in fact dated throughout secondary school until, inevitably, they drift apart as a cause of going down different paths school and career-wise once they’ve become adults.
then years down the line they bump into each other again at a café in a city neither of them live in—soap’s there for work, and ghost is there to visit a friend who, unfortunately, got called into work that day.
they catch up easily, talking like they hadn’t been apart for over a decade. they’d split on good terms, obviously, as a consequence of their circumstances, so it’s not surprising when old feelings are soon rekindled, particularly since neither of them have really seriously dated anyone since their breakup.
but this impromptu reunion, unfortunately, is how ghost finds out about the true nature of soap’s current employment. because a target of soap’s sees him with ghost, comes to an understanding that ghost is important to the hitman, and ghost is taken hostage, as leverage.
it becomes abundantly clear to ghost when he’s rescued (was he meant to fend these people off? sure, he’s a big guy, but he’s a university professor, for christ’s sake) and watches as soap kills several people with a skilled efficiency that… a lot can change over the course of a decade or so. and while the thought of all the blood on soap’s hands scares him, at first—
ghost is just as quickly discovering some things he hadn’t previously known about himself.

The gambling motifs in New Vegas relating to the central conflict can be subtle, but sometimes a man called House lives in a giant roulette spinner shaped casino in Vegas and says that he dealt himself a strong hand.

I think one time Garth and Dean are on a case together and one of people they're investigating flirts with Garth by asking 'is there a Mrs Fizzles?' and Garth goes "oh, no, he's gay" and Dean's brain explodes and as soon as they're alone he's like "why is the puppet gay?? [With the subtext, is this about me]" and Garth is like "what do you mean why is he gay?" and Dean's like "but you're straight" and Garth's like "am I?" and Dean's brain explodes again.
