Hot take but
Being able to “undo” an action online is accessibility
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidentally pressed a button due to my poor motor control.
And most things are “undoable”. Like if I accidentally like a post I can just… unlike it. I can unfollow, delete posts, delete comments, use backspace, close tabs.
And if I didn’t have the ability to do those things? Many tiktok and YouTube videos would have nonsense comments because I couldn’t delete something my hand did without my permission. I’d be following a shit ton of people that I intended to block, and Vice versa.
Little things are accessibility.

I salivate at the thought of skinning you alive
oh good, I thought I'd been left out. [for context to the reader, this is a reference to this post (I hope)]
On the spectrum from crocodile to passerine, I can only hope that human would be closer to crocodile, but not so close to be quite as tiring.

Chevrolet Corvair 95 Greenbrier Sportswagon, 1961. The Corvair 95 Greenbrier was a cab-over van based on the rear-engined Corvair. The render from May 11, 1960, shows a design study for a slope roof version that never made it off the drawing board.

from a transhumanist perspective, one of the most important things about cybernetics and becoming machine is the ability to write your own code and design your own hardware. true autonomy to define yourself exactly in your image.

I've talked about this before but I really think the public education system in north america is falling with fine motor skills
Like I really think we should teach kids cursive writing or even basic calligraphy because I see so many kids well into high school with no grasp of pressure or fine pencil/brush skills. It didn't used to be this way and I don't think you need corporal punishment or whatever ghastly things they did back the 1950s to achieve those skills in our classrooms again..

we talk a lot about “censoring captions is ableist because deaf/HoH people should have the same access to spoken language as hearing people”
i think we should talk just as much about “computers autocorrecting away from ‘bad words’ with no setting to enable autocorrect for those words is ableist because people with coordination problems should have the same access to using ‘bad words’ as people without those problems”
EDIT because i just thought of this: idk if dictation software censors itself or not bc i don’t use it but it should not be doing that

Possessor instead of creator/imposter
So like you know how people interpret the ‘creator’ using their acolytes as Vessels bc they basically control the vessel’s body and guide them to whatever they want to do
Most the time the character is already aware of what is happening and come to know it’s a normal thing. An honor actually!
But what if they weren’t?
The character simply going about their daily life, until suddenly their vision spots out and everything goes black. And when they come back to, it’s hours later and they’re somewhere completely different.
If this is in a sense that a creator is well known it’s likely they’d see it as an honor as normal. For the Creator themselves to see them as worthy it’s an elating discovery.
But maybe there’s a version in which people fear the creator because of this. To them, there’s no rhyme or reason to why they’re being chosen. Not only that, they don’t even remember what the creator does with them during that interval.
Being out of control of your body without being able to stop it or even know what happens during it…
It’s a little scary isn’t it?

I got a short little boost of rainworld inspo from the new iterator logs episode so here’s a slugcat oc! He’s the goodest boy and a cutie pie. (Featuring a few of my iterator ocs connected to his story)

I think the name Envoy sorta fits the vibe of the slugcat names/titles we see in game.

it is so fucking funny to me every day that nintendo marketed controller vibration as a new, exciting feature by giving it a dumb name and EVERYONE bought into it.
I distinctly remember watching people go "woaw i can really feel the HD RUMBLE™... so cool..."
