i really like writing about boring people. i like putting the most mid guy in existence next to the protagonist suffering from glorious purpose. here is a guy with no special skills, no blessings from the narrative, no outlandish identifying traits. and he can be just as interesting as the other guy as long as you make him feel real. banality is sublime to me.

im devastated. i got a microwaveable curry from costco and. its not good. Why

its so funny recognizing yourself in your parents and by funny i mean im going to be sick
#i hate my mother. i love my mother. i will always be her child. i will always be a stranger. i hate my mother. i love my mother.#like same woman who points a gun at me on the regular and mocked and laminated my suicide note when i was a kid to pass out at a family bbq#and the same reason i have such bad body image issues and chemical scars and burns.#but also. thats my mother. its the same woman who married a stranger because her two kids were homeless under a bridge after#my bio dad stole her car. its the same woman who held my hair back when i was sick as a child. who made cookies when i was depressed.#its the same woman who i had to talk down because she wanted to kill herself before she hit me and called me weak.#i miss my mother. i dont know if i ever had a mother. i love her. i need to move and never be around her.#its so difficult when you KNOW she has mental illness that runs in the family too. i know what impacts her behavior and how alike we are.#i know its not an excuse for the consistent abuse she still puts me through. i know this. i know i shouldn't feel guilty for my feelings.#i dont know what my feelings are.#i hate my mother to the point ive tried to kill myself to not be around her. i love her more than anyone else.#when your mother is a prophecy of all you might be as youre a reflection of all she could have been *family guy death pose.jpeg*#anyways. sorry for the rant heehee i am normal and going to bed before i craw out my skin and into some yellow wallpaper ^_^

dear internet stop throwing pictures of beautifully toasted bagels slathered in cream cheese at me i don't have a toaster i don't have room in my teeny kitchenette for a toaster a toaster is a luxury here in japan as are bagels as is cream cheese
bagel places here that ask me "do you want that heated up" make me want to cry tears of joy even though all they mean is they're gonna stick the bagel in the microwave for ten seconds so it's slightly warm-ish but not enough to crisp up or melt the cream cheese a little
#food#closest bagel place to me has two options blueberry bagel or white choco chip#its fortunate that i love blueberry but anyway that shows the general mindset towards bagels here they're sweet snacks more or less#hard to find everything bagel or onion bagel etc#i havent been home since before covid but my primary reason for wanting to is i neeeed a nyc bagel#and real mac n cheese and real grilled cheese#and pasta that isnt spaghetti with something something cream sauce#oh and i really miss american bbq which means it sucks that i'll be going home in winter bahahaha#never expected to stay here as long as i have but otoh food cravings aside what real motivation do i have to live in the us#obvs my parents and i do want to see them and wish we could live close#but as for life in the us itself... living here is so far a lot easier in a multitude of ways#the biggest downside is my being a foreigner. gotta reapply for that visa every few years#and even though i speak japanese every day the business-style japanese of workplaces is totally different so im limited in terms of jobs#aaaand when im home in the us i have the opposite problem... i miss japan and japanese food instead xP#why cant i teleport that'd solve everything#fizz's life#why are people reblogging this??? Damn I did it again didn't I. That last post was most certainly not an April fool's joke, it was just poorly timed considering I didn't hold up my promise of keeping in touch once again. Still feeling really withdrawn and unmotivated unfortunately, but please believe that I haven't forgotten my friends!
In the meantime, I've been doing my job and tending to home as usual, and becoming more proactive in seeking medical care. I've been really nervous about my health recently. Hate to alarm anyone, but it's good to be honest.
Also! I've finally transitioned to a new laptop and am exploring more games and music to help lift my mood (and ENA!!! How did it take me this long to discover this series? I owe her my life). Needless to say I'm really itching to discuss stuff and release the silly posts and maybe some art as well. Will it be awkward to just jump into business after being a ghost for so long? Can't be bothered to worry too much at this point...
Don't know how to end this post. I'm so SO sorry for being such a weenie and disappearing again. Love you guys stay safe! (redoing my dashboard tweaks and blacklist is gonna be a pain lol)
