What kind of relationship does Ciocana have with their family
It's... complicated! 😭
Ciocana has a strained relationship with their parents, Mirabella (deity of weather) and Giulia (goddess of the moon and stars). Ciocana loves them, and they love Ciocana in return, but Cio's parents cannot come to terms with their domain. What is a deity, whose existence is to serve, when they can only bring misfortune to mortals? In that regard, even MC may be better in comparison.
They also have two siblings, Rodas (god of wealth and commerce) and Fausto (deity of wine and gratitude). They are much more accepting, but Rodas prefers to distance himself from Cio, while Fausto simply doesn't care.
In general, though, Ciocana prefers to remain away from their family, if possible. It would be best they do not closely associate themselves with Cio.
That's the gist of it, but I hope to develop their relationship more deeply in the future as I continue to develop Ciocana's backstory and character arc... So we'll see if this evolves or changes in any way in the future!
Thank you so much for the ask!! 💕💕
(on a small side note, I was just discussing with my partner how I loved the similarities and contrast between the way Mirabella is described in the text, and how Ciocana is described... They're truly their parent's child 🥹)

(Eng) Hello everybody! This is Mirabella's Halloween art. It shows her in a maniac costume. Given her career and what she likes to do, it's not hard to guess why she chose this costume. I hope you like the way Mirabella looks in this costume.

So we know what our MC's parents think of our ROs. But what does the ROs parents thinks about the MC? Especially considering our MC is meant to be an outcast as well or much less powerless if I understood correctly
That's a great question!! Unfortunately, only Salvatore and Ciocana have any real answers.
Obviously, these opinions will change depending on how you play, but in general...
SALVATORE
Ellera: Goddess of the gods, goddess of civility. She would not be pleased; Salvatore is free to do as they like, but MC should not distract them from what they have to do.
To make matters more awkward, she's the one who sent MC to be an errand deity. Even divorced from the fact that you're with her child, she sees no great value in your existence. What are gods for, if not to serve humanity?
Edvige: Goddess of land and harvest. Although she is wary of MC at first, she would warm up to them quicker than Ellera would, given the chance. What she's heard of MC is not exactly charming, but even with time, her initial distrust will melt into some sort of acceptance.
LUCIEL
They have no parents.
CIOCANA
Mirabella: Deity of natural disasters and weather. They just... don't think about MC. At all. At least, not until now. They'd scrutinize you closely, go on the interrogative. Who are you again? Deity of eternity? No, be serious.. really?
Mirabella will always keep an eye on you, but not because you're not powerful, but because that's just how they are.
Giulia: They also don't think or care much about you. They'd look at you with cold indifference, but this is mainly indiscriminate; it is a look many have witnessed from them. However, you occupy not even the tiniest space in their mind. Only when you're with Ciocana do they seem to have the slightest interest in you, but even then, they don't think to be any warmer.
ALESSI
Their parents cannot have an opinion. If they did, however, they'd probably be stuck on the part where MC is a god. They are a deity, lesser or not -- that should be enough to terrify, wouldn't it be?
Thanks for giving me the chance to think about this! 🥺 It's only really a handful of the gods, aside from your parents, who are inherently friendly to MC. Thank you so much for the ask, hope you learned more about the other deities ♥️♥️

Luigi Mirabella - Il romanzo “Sarissa - Vaso di Pandora”
Tumblr media
