EDITORIAL ESSAY:
Teenage Pregnancy Issue in the Philippines
Teenage Pregnancy has become a growing concern in the Philippines, with studies showing that
the country has one of the highest rates of teenage pregnancies in Southeast Asia. In this editorial essay,
we will examine into the issue of teenage pregnancy in the Philippines, the causes, and potential
solutions.
Firstly, the root causes of teenage pregnancies in the Philippines include poverty, lack of access to
education, peer pressure, and social norms. Poor households often lack adequate resources for basic
needs such as food and shelter, making them unable to provide a decent education for their children.
Lack of education also contributes to poor decision-making, thus, increasing the risk of teenagers
engaging in unprotected sex. Furthermore, peer pressure and social norms can lead teens to engage in
sexual activities remove an early age.
Secondly, Poverty is also a major factor that contributes to teenage pregnancies in the
Philippines. Poor families are often unable to provide their children with basic resources and education,
leading to poor decision-making and perpetuating a cycle of poverty. Unfortunately, this cycle is often
passed down from one generation to the next, thus, making it extremely difficult to break
Furthermore, Teenage Pregnancy is a pressing concern in the Philippines, with an estimated
530,000 adolescents giving birth each year. This issue not only affects the individual adolescent, but also
has broader implications for their families, communities, and the nation as a whole.
Overall, Teenage Pregnancy remains a major issue in the Philippines and interventions must be
taken to address it. This includes providing comprehensive sex education and access to reproductive
health services, as well as improving economic opportunities for adolescents so that they are not left
with few viable options.

REFLECTIVE ESSAY:
INC aginst to the LGBTQ+ community
The INC or Iglesia Ni Christo is against to the LGBTQ+ community, for the reason that they had belief that in the bible have not lesbian, gay and the only gender had in the bible is girl and boy. In every week ends the Church of Christ teach a lesson, sometimes Church of Christ's minister talking about gay and lesbian and they said that gays and lesbians are not belong to the bible.
The remarkable experienced that I have claim in this relegion is like a disaster, although Iglesia Ni Christo had followed rules according to the bible, but some of people of the Church of Christ is so immoral because that is what I’ve experienced, so many people saying that all INC are so respectful but I’m not agree with that. Some of staff of INC like Jakono, they have not respecting my gender idebtity.
I realized and came to my mind that I am going to get a role I Iglesia Ni Christo for me to know what rules in Iglesia Ni Christo they need to follow. When I had a role in the Church of Christ or Iglesia ni Christo, I realized everything, why they are against in LGBTQ+ community and why I am always reminded everytime I am going to worship that the LGBTQ+ part is forbidden to us because it is one of the things taught in the bible.
The lesson I have learned is we need to follow the rules what is have to our religion, but I also realized even if the person is like that or there is nothing we can do, if they are part of LGBTQ+ community, there should still be respect. Any person or part of the community of LGBTQ+ they take care of themselves and the important things is that they worship the Lord and also they deserve to respect because part of their community is a human also and it had individual rights.
INC or Iglesia Ni Christo is aginst to the person that part of LGBTQ+ because they have rules and lesson to the bible that their need to follow and that is what I experienced because, I am part of the Iglesia Ni Christo and also part of LGBTQ+ community. In Iglesia Ni Christo every person had part and I am one of them I am a PNK kagawad of the Church of Christ so that I also did what they dis to me before when I had no role in Church of Christ, but my experienced is so disaster because of Jakono in Church of Christ is so disrespectful to the person like me.

Chapter 10 - Fate and Own Will
Warning: accident, mentioning blood, wound and hospital (please be aware of these)
Masterlist LFTM
——————————————————————————
Amaterasu was the sun goddess. There were a lot of interesting beliefs about gods and Amaterasu was one of the important gods in Japan. That was why you chose to visit here.
The weather was fresh and clear. The sun shone the golden color across the bright sky. The mild breeze in the summer could be felt on your skin and blew your exhaustion away.
The large Torii gates were at either end of the bridge. You walked through the first Torii to another one at the end of the bridge to go to the Amaterasu shrine.
You were weary, so after crossing the bridge, you stopped to take a rest. When you heard someone shouting your name, you turned to where the voice came from.
You saw a man who ran on the bridge which you just crossed. His hair swayed along with his movement and the gentle breeze around him.
The sunshine was brilliant to barely see who it was until he got closer, until you saw a man with pink hair who had large light hazel eyes and a gorgeous smile on his face.
Abruptly, you recalled what Shoko said to you at the park after you were back from America with Nanami. You remembered she said you wouldn’t know who your future may lead you to meet with.
“It-Itadori Yuji?” you mumbled shockingly.
“Oh! Do you know me? I’m so happy. I know you too, l/n y/n. Nice to finally meet you” he responded cheerfully.
“Y-yeah, why are you here Itadori?”
“Oh oh oh ohhhhh!!!!, here’s your keys. You forgot at our coffee shop. And please call me Yuji” he smiled cheerfully.
You looked at the keys on his palm. Those were definitely yours. However, there were questions in your head to process right now.
“Ita- Yuji, how did you know I’m here? How did you come here? And what did you mean about ‘our coffee shop’? How did you know those are mine? And how did you know my name? By the way, you can just call me y/n too”
Yuji giggled before reviewing those questions in his head. “Hmm, I heard from grandma you came here, so I drove. Anddd…Ar! My grandparents owned the coffee shop you always go to. I knew those were yours because they told me you came. And the last question is… Oh oh, you’re a famous author! And y/n, I’ll call you y/n from now on”
“Famous author…eh?” you lowered your head. You knew the famous author wasn’t you, it was Runa.
“Yuji, the area is huge, how did you find me?
“I jogged all over and asked people if anyone has seen you. I also sensed you may be somewhere here” he gave you an adorable smile.
“all over?” your face was pale in shock to learn he had much energy when you were so tired roaming around. You were lost in your thoughts until you were aware that many people gathered around you.
“Yuji, you haven’t been to my house at all” stranger 1 asked.
“I was busy! Is your car working fine now? Yuji answered.
“Yeah, thanks to your help last time!” stranger 1 said.
“Yuji, I need a person who can go fishing with me, we don’t have enough people, can you help? stranger 2 asked.
“Of course, sounds so exciting!!!, just tell me when” Yuji replied.
“Yuji, I wanna move some stuff but they are heavy, can you come to assist me too?” stranger 3 asked.
“I’ll be there, when is it?” Yuji asked but got no answer because another person cut him off.
“Yuji, I need help, my roof has a hole. We need to fix it soon” stranger 4 asked.
“Oh noooo, shall we work on it today? That sounds terrible” Yuji said nervously.
No wonder why he could find you in such a huge place, he must have known everyone in Mie. What was he? A politician? An actor?
You were about to walk away but remembered your keys were still in his palm.
You hit your head lightly. “Stupid, why I didn't take them when he gave me”
You assumed maybe you could go inside just to wait for him to finish talking with people. Before you started moving, some people called out your name. You shifted yourself to look at them.
“May I help you?” you asked politely.
“You’re really y/n!” they shouted.
“Yes?” you rose your brown.
“I love your book so much! You’re such a talented author. Can you sign here? I brought your book with me too. You know your book has helped me a lot and I’ve read it more than 3 times!” they opened the book and gave you their pen.
You unhurriedly took the pen and looked at the book. You thought of what they told you, a talented author?, my book helped them?, loved my book?.
‘Ahhh, but none of these meant me’, you reminded yourself.
‘Right, you didn’t belong in this world. Everyone saw you as someone else, as Runa’ you believed.
You slowly signed the signature on Runa’s work. “Thank you for liking this work” you forced a smile while staring at the book.
After those people left, you were more tired, so you chose to go home. You closed your eyes and put your hands together to pray to Amaterasu.
Though you didn’t get close to the shrine, you were sure that if you were determined to pray with your heart, all the gods would hear you.
Once you were done. You tried to get close to where Yuji stood and tried to sneak your keys from him.
“Huh?!” you were startled because Yuji was faster. He gripped your hand and pulled you close to him through people around you.
“What are you doing? Aren’t you going inside?” Yuji asked worriedly after observing you praying a minute ago.
“I’m a bit tired. I can come here again on other days. I want to go home, can you just let me go?" you asked.
He placed keys on your palm. “Let me drive you home”
____________________________________________
You arrived at your place. On the way here, Yuji stopped at so many places to buy your food and personal products.
“Y/nnnnnnnnn, I knew there was an Airbnb here, but I haven't been here before. Your place has a spectacular view” Yuji ran around outside your place.
He stepped too close to a cliff of the hill, so you grabbed the hem of his shirt.
“Yuji, you’re not young child, you should know not to get close to the cliff”
“I know how to swim. I was a swimmer in middle school” said Yuji.
“You might die before getting to swim from hitting those rocks down there” you explained.
“I was a competitor for Judo combat when I was in high school. A lot of people said my head was as hard as l rocks. Yuji grinned.
“Y-yuji, what are you?…”
“Hmm, what do you think I am y/n?” Yuji lowered his body. He placed his hands on his knees and his eyes now were the same level with you. He smiled sweetly, but his voice was so seductive.
“A weird person, I guess” you smirked.
“Whatttttttttt, I-I am w-weirdddd” he frowned, carried your stuff, and walked upstairs to get in your house.
You stepped in and saw Yuji was in the kitchen. He was busy putting your food in the refrigerator.
“Hmm, y/n, May I give you advice?” Yuji hesitated.
“Go ahead”
“You shouldn’t put the milk on the door of the fridge because if you open it often the milk will go bad unless you drink everyday. Oh, meats on the top shelf should be placed at the bottom and vegetables should be on the top instead because liquid from the meats may flow on the vegetables and they will go bad. If you can't finish those meats, put them in the freezer, okay?” Yuji explained.
You nodded quickly.
Yuji gazed at you and chuckled. “Well, just a suggestion, you can do whatever you want. I just worry because you live alone in the new place”
“Yuji, are you in school?” you moved to sit on the chair in the kitchen space.
“Yes, I’m about to be the forth year student. I’m studying Culinary Arts”
“You like cooking?” you asked.
“I do! I like to cook for my grandparents” Yuji announced.
“Y/n, do you like Udon?”
“I like it, why?”
“Let me cook for you” Yuji beamed.
You waited for a while until he served your food. You looked in your bowl. The udon was a bit bigger and thicker than usual udon. The noodle was poured with Tamari soy sauce. You were about to put them in your mouth but you caught Yuji staring at you.
“No one will feel comfortable if a weird person stares at them when they eat, you know”
Yuji's ears turned red. “I-I am not weird. I-I just want to know if it’s good or not”
You sighed and ate your first bite. The noodles were so soft and chewy. Because of the sauce, it was sweet and salty. It tasted normal but there was a warm feeling blooming, just like how your mom cooked.
“y/n, how is it?”
“It’s really good Yuji” you smiled.
Yuji grinned and nodded. You both ate the meal together. When you both finished eating, Yuji cleaned everything before he left.
“y/n, I’ll pick you up tomorrow at 8 am, okay?”
“W-why do you need to come that early?” you asked.
“I’ll take you traveling in Mie, see you!”
____________________________________________
At night, you scrolled your Instagram until your phone displayed Toji’s calling you. It had been a while since you hadn't contacted his family after you heard that Toji and Kiko divorced.
“Hi Toji, how are you?”
“I’m fine, are you alright? I heard you are on vacation?”
“Yeahh”
“Y/n, I called you today, just want to say sorry. I’m sorry for everything that our family did to you. If I was a better man, if I was a better father, you wouldn’t have been in the accident, you wouldn’t have hurt because of the stupid gossip news”
You listened to what he said. His voice was so stern yet was sincere. He did feel bad. He blamed himself. You imagined if the accident didn’t happen, would Runa live a good life?, would you be able to get in here?
“Toji, I forgive you” you said gently.
Toji felt weak. It was ironic how his eyes were blurred with tears. You reminded him of his mom. People thought you were vulnerable, but he could tell you were stronger than you thought.
“Thank you” was all he could respond. His heart was lighter like the mountain was lifted after hearing you say “forgive”. Maybe deep down he hoped his mom would tell him too that she forgave him because he couldn’t protect her from his dad, from death.
“D-do you think we can meet as friends when you’re back from vacation?” Toji asked hesitantly.
“Of course! I always like how you are cruel like a big bear but is actually soft”
“Yeah? what a brave kid you are, maybe I should show you more about myself as a reward, eh?” he snickered viciously.
“y-you wh-at don’t say th-at” you spoke with a shaky voice.
“Well, gotta go, so have a good night” Toji hung up the phone.
He imagined what face you would make right now when you were bashful.
“Ahh, I will definitely burn from the sun” he chuckled.
____________________________________________
Yuji picked you up on time. He made sandwiches and coffee for you to eat and drink in the car. Yuji planned to go 3 places today. You were surprised at first because each place was quite far from each other, no wonder why he came so early.
The first place you visited was the Futamiokitama Shrine which was popular for the Married Couple Rocks. The holy rocks were in the sea, so from the parking lot, you would have to walk through the white Torii, pass the shrine, turn left to the small shopping area, and go straight where the holy rocks were located.
You walked too fast before you got through the Torii, you almost fell on the ground. Luckily, Yuji grabbed you before you dropped.
“y/n, are you alright?” Yuji asked while walking next to you.
“I’m good, maybe too old to walk as quickly as I want to” you laughed.
Suddenly, Yuji crouched down in front of you.
“Ride on my back, so you don’t need to walk. I usually do this with grandma too”
“Yuji, there are a lot of people here and I'm not that old yet”
“Okay” Yuji then grabbed your legs. You fell down on his back directly. He stood up and carried you on his back.
“Yuji. Why did you say okay, if you did this to me?”
“I know you’re not that old, but we’ll walk together a lot later and I want you to be able to enjoy it too. So, let me just carry you for a moment, please?" he replied.
The warmth merged inside your chest. There was nothing special in his words, but he was sincere about his feelings and thoughts and they were sent directly to you. The touch he made was so gentle like he was scared you would break as if you were just a feather.
From the Futamiokitama Shrine to the second place took 2 hours driving. Yuji took you to the Gozaisho Ropeway. This was also another famous place in Mie. Yuji and you took a ride on the ropeway to get to the summit of Mt. Gozaisho.
It was 15 minutes to get to the summit. The lift was so high, yet the view was breathtaking. You could see stacked mountains and the far distance of Nagoya city.
“y/n!! Look at that. That mountain looks like a dog. That one, that one looks like a panda. That one is like a squid too!!! There, there, that is Nagoya city” Yuji looked excited while pointing his index finger everywhere.
“Y-yuji, don’t move too much” you inhaled and exhaled loudly.
“Are you scared?” Yuji leaned his head to look at your face.
“N-not that much”
Yuji stretched his arm in front of you. “Why don’t you grab my arm?”
“I-it’s fine, Yuji”
Even though you told him it was fine, Yuji still hung his arm in the air. You wondered if he would feel fatigued since 5 minutes had passed already. Finally, you agreed to grab his arm.
His arm was muscular. Though he didn’t look like that, He seemed sturdy. You didn’t realize your cheeks turned scarlet. You secretly glanced at Yuji, unexpectedly to see Yuji was staring without blinking.
“Y/n, are you that scared? Your face is all red? Are you sick? W-What should we do? W-we can’t jump out right no-”
“Yuji stop stop” you used your hand to rub his back lightly.
“I’m fine. The weather is just quite hot, don’t you think?” you avoided eye contact with him as much as possible.
You and Yuji spent many hours exploring everything in the area. Yuji was so enthusiastic. He ran around and pulled you to see the view, rocks, flowers, or trees. It was so tiring but it was so much fun. He made everything more enjoyable than it should be.
If you came here by yourself, you would just walk around or take some pictures or even when you visited somewhere with nanami, you both strolled around the place and discussed how beautiful it was. One thing that you were sure you and Nanami wouldn’t do was dragonfly-catching.
Because it was summer, they provided this activity. Yuji was so delighted to run and jump around to catch dragonflies with many kids. He was like the leader of a children's group. They yelled and followed Yuji everywhere.
Like watching a slow motion movie, Yuji jumped so high, but he could catch nothing. Then when his feet were on the ground, he slipped and slowly dropped to the ground. His face gradually kissed the land.
Yuji was stunned and it seemed like his brain processed what just happened. He then gradually sat and blinked so many times.
You bit your bottom lip to help yourself not to laugh at his expression, but he was too cute and funny. You walked close to him to see if he was hurt.
“Yuji, are you okay? Do you hurt anywhere?”
“y/n, d-did you see it?” his shaky eyes met yours.
“Yeah, I saw. It may have hurt right?” you began to sweep the dust off his face and clothes.
“Y/n I was just flying!!!” his eyes widened with excitement.
“Huh? Ahhhh yeah, that was so cool” you were stunned but attempted to go along with his conversation.
“Right!!!!!! That was so coolllll. Catching catching catching” he stood up and ran around again.
You giggled and murmured. “You are unbelievable, Yuji”
Yuji asked you to take his pictures with some dragonflies he caught. You took a lot of photos of him. Once you were done, he ran to the kids to talk to them. You closed the camera function to go back to the home screen for being able to lock his phone.
Before locking his phone, you saw his home screen picture. Your brows lifted before your eyes enlarged. The photo on his home screen was you.
In the picture, you glanced at something else obviously you didn’t see that he took a picture. Moreover, you wore a floral Rodarte slip dress on the day you went to an Alumni party with Nanami.
Yuji ran back to you to go to the next destination, and you gave him his phone. You wanted to ask, yet you also didn't want to know. You were confused, you weren’t ready to learn more about anything, because of too much fear of overwhelming emotions.
The third place you went with him was Nabana no Sato. There were so many colorful flowers. Unfortunately, the tunnel light happened in winter only, but you could enjoy various flowers in the large flower park.
Yuji had so much energy stored. Though you were exhausted, it was like he shared his energy with you because you enjoyed spending time with him.
Yuji offered to take a lot of your pictures with the flowers. He asked you to sit on the bench with him and take a selfie together. Then, he grabbed your hand to the Begonia Garden. The blooms were stunning with the decoration and colors as you were in a fairy tale.
You observed many couples come here together. Suddenly, you thought of Nanami's face. You shook your head not to think about him too much since you decided to move on for yourself.
Unawares, you felt someone clasped your wrist and you turned to see Yuji was next to you with his bright smile.
“Let’s take some pictures where flowers are hanging” Yuji said.
“Y/n, look in the pool, there is a reflection of flowers hanging down above”
You looked down the pool to see a reflection of yourself and flowers, then you watched how Yuji slowly stepped close to you. When he was close enough, he took a picture in the pool.
“What did you take? A pool?” you asked.
“The reflection of us!!” he beamed.
“y/n, look look! There is a cafe. Let's take a rest there” you both walked together to the cafe.
____________________________________________
Yuji stopped at so many places on the way back to your home. You couldn’t deny that in your life, you had never spent this much energy before. You visited many places, took many pictures, did a lot of activities, and laughed so much.
“Yuji, thank you for today, it was so much fun to hang out with you” you confessed.
“I’m so so happy to be with you today” Yuji beamed.
“Oh, thank you. Uum, it’s late now, do you want to stay over here tonight? There are many rooms, the house is for 6-7 people anyway, only if you want, but I don’t have any men's clothes to change” you clarified.
“Really? Okay! Don’t worry about clothes, I have extra clothes in my car because I usually stay over at others’ house after helping them all day”
You chuckled and thought about the day you met him at Ise shrine.
You both took a shower and came to the living room. Yuji invited you to do Harry Potter film marathon together. You were surprised how much stamina he had left, but agreed since you had no plan tomorrow. You both finished watching the first one and continued to see the second film.
You fell asleep on the couch when the Chamber of Secrets had played for 30 minutes. Yuji asked you if you wanted more water, but no response from you.
He turned to see you sleeping, so he changed position for you to sleep more comfortably on the couch and covered you with the blanket before he moved to sit on the floor next to you.
Yuji placed his arm on the couch before laying his chin on his arm. He used long fingers to shove your hair back away from your face. “What should I do if I like you too much, y/n”
While sleeping, you heard someone call out your name again. You opened your eyes to see you were in the garden and there were a lot of women here. You realized immediately you were in the dream. You began to find where Runa was until you saw she sat next to daffodil fields.
“Runa” you called her name while sitting down next to her.
“y/n, one is destined to love and one is destined to meet” she mumbled and placed the daffodil flower behind your ear.
“Huh? What do you mean? Do you want me to choose someone for you?” you tilted your head.
“Nuh-uh, for you” she hugged her legs close to her chest and placed her chin on her knee.
Abruptly, everything disappeared and became like a fog. You stood up and looked around. You heard someone calling your name, so you wandered to get to where the sound was from.
After you followed that voice, you saw your mom sitting next to your patient bed. Your mom smiled this time with an exhausted look. You watched how she talked to your sleeping body like you were there.
You remembered when you were there in your own world, every time you met your mom, she always told you about her day and life. You assumed that was what she was doing. She was telling you about her life, maybe about your dad and your siblings too.
Your tears streamed down your face to think how many times she came here and talked to you or how many times she cried in pain to see your sleeping body.
The next morning you woke up. You looked around to see if you were in the Airbnb or the hospital. You got up from the couch to see Yuji sleeping on the floor. You then realized you were still in the fanfiction world.
You do like this world, but you truly understood you were in Runa’s body and everyone thought you were her. Would anyone realize it? Would anyone know how you feel now? It made you feel depressed but you had no choice and needed to be whoever they believed.
Suddenly, Yuji jumped from the floor and looked at you.
“Good morning, y/n!” he spoke with an energetic voice.
“Morning, Yuji” you replied.
“Let's have breakfast at my grandparents’ shop” Yuji stood up and was about to walk before you grabbed his wrist.
“Wait, Yuji. Why did you sleep on the floor?”
“Because you slept in the living room and I-I saw your face was weird while sleeping” Yuji didn’t look at your eyes.
“D-did I do something weird?” you bit your bottom lip.
“No, your face was twisted like you were in pain, so I thought I should be next to you in case you need anything” he replied.
“Ahhhh” you closed your eyes to think about your dream.
“Thank you, and take your time. I’ll be here when I'm done” you walked to your bedroom.
____________________________________________
You both arrived at the coffee shop. Mitsu and Taro were surprised to see you with him. You could tell they had a million questions. You came to sit at your regular table that could see the view.
Yuji brought you breakfast and coffee for you. He was about to sit across from you but his grandparents pushed him to sit next to you, so they both sat across from you.
“Yuji, you need to take responsibility. Y/n may be older, but she's a precious woman” Mitsu informed both of you.
You were dumbfounded and tried to understand what she said.
“Grandma, what are you talking about?” Yuji asked.
“Yuji! We didn’t raise you to be an irresponsible person”
You watched Taro appear a bit angry while saying that.
“G-grandpa, what did I do?” Yuji was surprised.
“Yuji, you didn’t come home last night. We thought you might have stayed over after helping people as usual, but you slept at y/n’s place. You have to tell Itadori to come here and make things official between you and y/n” Mitsu clarified.
“Oficial between us? I’m sorry, can you explain more, why does Itadoti have to come here? And who is Itadori?” you asked.
“Sorry y/n, we are his maternal grandpa and grandma. I don’t like him but Itadori is Yuji’s paternal grandpa and they're a rich family” Taro explained.
“Mitsu, Taro, Yuji stayed over at my place, but he slept on the floor and I slept on the couch. Nothing happened between us” you calmly explained.
“Nothing???!!!” Mitsu shouted and looked between you and Yuji.
“Yuji, why does your grandma look disappointed?” you whispered to him.
“I don’t know either” he whispered back.
Mitsu reached her hand to clasp your hand across the table. “y/n, do you dislike Yuji?”
“What!! No no, I like him. He's a kind, cute, and optimistic person” you said.
You didn’t see Yuji’s ears got red on the tips now while Mitsu and Taro looked into each other's eyes and smiled mischievously.
“Yuji, we like y/n” Mitsu winked at Yuji before she and Taro left the table.
You made eye contact with Yuji. “Yuji, what does it mean?”
“H-ha a a a hha, I-I don’t know”
You watched how Yuji awkwardly answered you and ran away from his seat.
The way Yuji helped his grandparents made you think he was sweet and generous toward everyone. His personality wasn't too different from the manga.
You didn’t know how long you kept your eyes on the large sea. The dream reminded you of how you left your family behind while you got to meet your favorite characters here.
“Y/n, are you okay?” Yuji bent his body to talk to you.
Yuji got no response from you.
“Y/n?” he touched your shoulder.
“eh?, Yuji, what is it?”
“Are you okay?” his eyes were wavering.
“I-I’m good”
“You haven't looked well since this morning, are you sure?” Yuji knitted his brows.
“Umm, I’m good. Thank you, Yuji”
“I have to go now. I promised the uncle next to our home to help with his roof today. D-do you think we can meet later today or maybe tomorrow?” he fidgeted his fingers.
“Of course, you know where I live anyway” you smiled.
It had been 3 hours since Yuji left and you were still at the coffee shop. You took notes and listed your ideas for a new book you wanted to write.
Bang! Bang! Thud!
You were startled by the loud sound that just happened. The source stemmed from the back where the kitchen was. You ran to see what it was. Your eyes widened and your heart beating faster to see Mitsu laid on the floor.
Taro ran after you. He was as shocked as you. He called his wife's name again and again. You gained your consciousness back to analyze what to do. You examined if there was blood or wounds anywhere around Mitsu’s head and body.
Fortunately, there were none of them. From what you observed, Taro called her name a couple of times, yet no response you assumed she lost consciousness.
“Taro,do you have a car? I think we should take her to the hospital” you asked calmly.
“Y-yes, the car is parked across the shop. The hospital is 10 mins from here” Taro replied with a trembling voice.
You turned your back to Mitsu. “Grandpa, please bring her on my back. I’ll carry her to the car. Please go to the hospital with me and ask your employee to watch the shop”
Taro followed what you suggested. He helped to carry Mitsu on your back. You slowly got up and walked. Luckily, Mitsu wasn’t too heavy, still, it wasn’t manageable to carry a human on your body.
Taro shouted to let the employee know and she only nodded. You didn't see what kind of expression she made because you struggled and attempted to focus on walking to the car.
You were sweaty due to the hot weather and the weight of the human on your back. You finally reached the car. Taro sat in the backseat with his wife. You started driving as carefully as possible because the last thing you wanted was another car accident with Yuji’s grandparents.
You drove while thinking of Yuji’s face. The scene when he lost his grandpa came to your brain. You looked up at the mirror to watch them from time to time. Taro helped you by telling you the direction.
Finally, you arrived and Mitsu was taken to an emergency room. You waited outside with Taro. You watched him, you could tell Taro made an effort to calm down. It must be hard and fearful for him to discover his wife in that state. You deliberately grabbed his hand.
“Grandma will be fine” you said.
“Y/n, mama and I were together for more than 40 years. We understand one day we’ll separate, but I hope she will go peacefully and not in pain. People are born alone and die alone. Mama and I have spent many years collecting memories and happiness in our hearts. As long as she’s not in pain, I’m pleased to let her go with my heart”
You said nothing and nodded to him. Their love was so true, they learned how to let each other go with happiness and how to adore the time they spent together.
Possibly, you could learn something from their love. You were about to call Yuji, but you saw someone ran loudly. You turned to see it was Yuji.
“Grandpa, is grandma okay?” Yuji sat on the floor at his grandpa’s feet.
“I-I heard from the sister employee, so I immediately came here” Yuji continued.
You told what happened to Yuji and how you all came to the hospital. Yuji had large sad eyes listening to you. He felt bad for not being there for his grandma.
Hours later, the doctor announced blessed news that Mitsu was safe, but needed to be admitted for observation. You glimpsed Taro and Yuji had happy faces.

Because Mitsu needed to be at the hospital, Taro was with her. You decided to help Yuji at the coffee shop. You’d learned how to make coffee and tea. However, you preferred to receive orders instead of making beverages.
Wednesday
“Hello, what can I get for you today?” asked you.
“I would like to have a matcha latte” a customer said.
“Sure, the total is 400 yen”
“Here” a man gave you money.
“Thank you, we’ll serve at your table when it’s ready” you told him.
“Thank you, umm excuse me, were you born here in Mie?” a man asked you.
“I’m not. I’m here to assist my friend. I’m actually a traveler” you explained.
“Aha, me too! Do you want to travel around together? It would be goo-”
“Here, your latte sir!!! Y/n, can you go back inside to see if we have some tea left?” Yuji smiled.
“Ahh, sure” you were dazed by Yuji’s sudden action, but you obeyed him since he knew more than you about what to do here anyway.
Friday
You served some coffee to a group of young people. You placed their orders on the table before you left one of the women spoke to you.
“Sorry, that boy with pink hair is your boyfriend?”
“No, he’s a friend” you smiled.
Some women in the group giggled among themselves, you assumed they may like Yuji since he’s cute.
“How about you, do you have a boyfriend? Are you interested in younger or older men?” a young man in the group asked you cheerfully.
“Well, I hope you all enjoy your day!” you were about to walk back but the corner of your eyes saw a man getting close to you, but he stopped once he saw Yuji standing between him and you.
“Do you need anything?” Yuji asked them. You didn’t see his face expression. You believed he was friendly and sweet towards his customers as usual. So, you walked back to the cashier.
However, what the group saw was Yuji who didn’t smile at all. They were horrified because Yuji was like a different guy who they saw when they came in. It seemed like Yuji was ready to kill them right here and now, so both men and women quickly ran away from the shop.
Saturday
You took a break at your usual table and stared at how the girl employee gazed at Yuji. You could tell she secretly liked him, but who wouldn’t. Yuji was a young, lovely and polite boy.
You didn’t pay attention, but a man who came on Wednesday came back again. He attempted to ask you to travel with him. Once he saw you sitting alone, he was determined to chat with you. He stepped close to you before something or SOMEONE ran past him.
“Y/n, look at this I drew your face on this coffee” Yuji showed you the hot cup of coffee.
“Wow, Yuji, this is amazing. You were so talented” you patted his head.
“Do you want to drink yourself or should I drink you?” he laughed.
You were bashful because you thought he didn’t realize what he said. “Y-Yuji, I’ll drink it”
Okay!” Yuji chuckled, placed a cup, and walked away. He walked past a man who he knew well what that man tried to do. He shot a glare at that man. Yuji’s glare made him have goosebumps and that man ran away.
“Huh? Who was that just running?” you murmured.
Monday
You heard the door of the coffee shop open and people walked in.
“Hello, welcome to the coff- huh?” your eyes widened.
“Y/n?” Megumi called out your name.
