I know it’s not really that important in the large scheme of things, but I would like it a lot if BioWare showed us in the next game what an Omni-tool and omni-gel look like and how they work, as well as giving us a definitive answer as to which barrel of the guns fire the metal slugs and which is for the range finder. And also, how exactly do powers like concussive shot work. Again, it’s not really that big of a deal, but I think these little details would help with immersion and making the universe feel “real”.

I don’t care how many times this joke is made. It’s hilarious and I will scream it to the world.

I've been playing through the Mass Effect series and just started Mass Effect 3 and James in the beginning is so hilarious. There's this major attack on Earth, he's then thrown into a crew with a commander who DOES NOT follow rules very well, and said commander is also having an ex-lovers spat (if you played 1 that way) and there's all these people that all know each other and have a history and no one is fully explaining anything and they're all ordering him around. What a day it has been for him.

So I've been sitting on this piece for a really long time ... it was actually the first piece of Mass Effect fanfiction I ever wrote. I was keeping it in my library because I wanted to finish more of the greater story before I started posting it, but with how my priorities have shifted, I'm not quite sure I'll ever complete the full series. But I have two stories already written, so I figured, why not post them? At least get them out there, because they're serving me no good just sitting in my folder. So without further ado, here's the first chapter of my interpretation of Kaidan's time at BAaT. I hope you enjoy!
