If you’re sleeping while hanging he chooses a random person to snuggle up close
The day the frog brothers came was the only time he didn’t

Marko doesn’t like most peaceful activities
Sitting together doing separate things in silence? He can already feel himself falling asleep
The only exception is drawing, but he still wants to talk with you

He feels a little better if it’s stolen, but is still guilty that you risk getting in trouble for him

Likes when ppl hold his cheek and do the thumb swiping thing
He likes to arm wrestle ppl too, idk why
He likes being told he’s doing good bc he gets really in his head about messing up
He was painting something for Star and messed up the colors, she said it was still wonderful and can’t believe how much talent he had
She was lifted into a hug so fast and NOBODY expected it
Comments on his appearance such as calling him handsome makes him flustered
Normally just smiles, shakes his head a little, and says thanks
Overall prefers he just does things for you
You don’t need to do things for him, but he likes it
The first thing that made him see Star as a potential sister was her giving him his piercing bc he always wanted one but didn’t trust the boys or himself to do it
If he’s nervous about messing up and you help that’s when he’ll probably compliment you

Dating Headcanons

As a people watcher, his partner is never too far away from his sight.
While he has a reputation to keep in public on the boardwalk, he's very affectionate when you're alone.
Is in denial about being touch starved.
He loves hugs, even if you have to initiate them most of the time.
When chilling in the cave, wherever he's sitting, he insists you sit right on his lap so he can wrap his arms around your waist.
While you are in public together though, he likes to hold your hand.
He's not very good at it, but he will happily oblige to giving you massages if you ask nicely.
If you didn't have earrings before, he'd offer to pierce them for you.
One word. Blindfolds.
The quickest way to turn David on is tell him you want to lay blind on the bed completely at his mercy.
He's got a lace kink.
That new lingerie you bought. He'll compose himself while you're showing it off, but you won't be wearing it long.

Quickest way into his heart is through Laddie.
He'll watch with a huge smile on his face as you play games and buy carnival snacks with Laddie.

He'll also carry you upright sitting on his shoulders when you're feeling ambitious.
It always works cause he's a thigh man. Sometimes you convince him to carry you with Laddie sitting on your shoulders like a totem pole when your out on the boardwalk.
He's not one to engage in conversations first, but he's a great listener.
There isn't a single word that comes out of your mouth that he isn't noting down in his memory. Make an off comment about a thing you like, he'll gift it to you. Complain about a minor inconvenience, he'll fix it. Mention you've always wanted to try something in passing, it's your next date night.
Loves it when you play with his hair. He'll purposely sit in front of you in hopes you'll just absent mindedly start running your fingers through it. All you have to do is pat your lap, and he'll lay his head in it for hair play.
Will go feral if he sees you in thigh highs. Doesn't matter if they're lace, fish nets, or cotton socks it drives him nuts. You wear them specifically to get him hot and it works every single time.
While he's the more dominant one in the bedroom, he loves it when you're on top.

Will make his partner mix tapes.
Can play the guitar and loves to sing to you.
If you also play an instrument, he will wanna jam with you.

When walking, he's the boyfriend with his arm around his partner's shoulders at all times.
When you're on the boardwalk together, he likes to stand behind you with his arms around you. Pulling your back against his chest as close as he can. Will paint on your naked body. It's not even a sex thing, he just likes the challenge of trying to paint on you while squirming. (Although it's incredibly arousing to him too)
Even though the vamps sleep upside down, Marko will take naps with his head tucked snuggling in your chest. It's not only cause he's a breast man, but he loves hearing the beat of your heart. It makes it even better when the rhythm speeds up when he mumbles affirmations of love to you.
He loves you in baggy clothing, especially if it's his clothing. The hottest look for him is to have you walk around in an old baggy jacket with nothing underneath.

The Lost Boys being a little protective of the nerdier people on the boardwalk.
In my experience punks and nerds overlap a lot and I think they'd probably have friends (or even their mate being a nerdy type) that gets bullied a lot for their interests and they just kinda always keep an eye on them. It would only be locals ofc because I headcanon them not going after locals that often unless they absolutely need to do it.

Another headcanon that my brain just thought of with the headcanon of Marko being Italian.
Slightly nsfw. Fem!Reader
Calling him an Italian Stallion
The first time you said it was teasingly, everyone was heading to the boardwalk and as you followed you just said "I call dibs on riding with the Italian Stallion"
The grin on Marko's face was instant
Like full on shit eating, ego has been boosted grin
The second time you said it was more loving
Marko was watching you as you come back to their bikes, hand and hand with Laddie.
He noticed some surfer Nazis staring at you as you played the games, winning the small boy the stuffed bat he wanted.
He knew he couldn't just walk over and kill them, as much as he wanted to.
You noticed his gaze once you stood next to him and followed it to a group of guys all staring at the two of you.
Rolling your eyes you looked back at Marko, turning his head to face you.
"Ignore them"
"they're staring"
"let them stare, you know I only have eyes for my Italian Stallion" you told him with a playful smile, a smile that was quickly mirrored on his face before he pulled you in for a deep kiss
Little did the two of you know that at the same time, while kissing, you both flipped off the group of guys.
The third time it was your turn to be a bit jealous.
Some girl thought she had the right to come up and outright flirt with Marko
You had been talking to Paul near his bike as you both looked around the crowd for his potential hookup/meal that night when you first heard it
That God awful giggle followed by a "well hello handsome, you look like a fun time"
You and Paul turned at the same time, noticing a blonde girl twirling her hair and eyeing Marko like she wanted to eat him
You internally laughed because you knew it would be the other way around
But never the less you could feel your blood boil when she laid her hand on his arm, leaning in to talk to him.
"I've seen your group around before, you get into fights a lot" she giggled. "But I've also seen you cuss people out in Italian, that's hot, I love Italian men. You maybe wanna let me go for a ride on your bike?"
And with that you were done.
"The only one riding on that bike and that Italian Stallion is me, and if you'd like to keep that hand of yours unbroken I suggest you remove it from his arm" you spoke behind her, watching as she slowly turned to face you, eyes wide.
Marko on the other hand had the biggest grin on his face
And low-key may have popped a boner at your territorialism
"And you are?" She actually had the nerve to ask.
"His girlfriend, now you have five seconds before I rip your throat out. 5!"
And with that she was gone with her group of friends, looking at you like you were completely insane.
Marko on the other hand was cackling
To him it was the funniest shit, after all, he had no desire for any girl but you, but how quickly you shut her down made him feel almost..proud in a way.
"You weren't jealous were you babe?" He asked with that shit eating grin as he pulled you in close.
"Not jealous, jealousy is when you know there is a possibility of losing. I'm territorial, simply protecting what's mine"
"What's yours huh?" He asked, grin now buried against your neck, Marko never had someone flat out tell him he belonged to them, and he wouldn't lie and say it wasn't doing things to him.
"why don't we head back to the cave? I can grab a snack tomorrow" he said with that grin that said you were in for a long night.
The fourth time you said it was after you got back to the cave.
Things were getting hot and heavy
Clothes were already off
Kisses had become messy
And Marko had already made you cum twice just with his tongue and fingers alone.
"You ready baby?" He asked, breath ragged from holding himself back.

•However, if Marko makes you ANY other cake…good luck
•Aside from beloved family recipes intertwined with childhood memories, Marko does not believe in recipes.
•He is an agent of chaos and his cooking skills reflect this for the most part.
•He also really doesn’t get baking soda/powder and how much you should add (but he’ll never admit that and look at a recipe, that’s for quitters)

•Then you dance the night away celebrating with your favorite people!
•But if you don’t like parties, and you prefer not to be the center of attention, they have a plan for that too!
•They steal get a projector and screen and they set it up in the center of the cave
•They pull the mattress from your nest out into the main area too and throw tons of blankets and pillows on it
•They make popcorn and grab tons of candy and soda
•When you get to the cave they surprise you with a movie night in!
•You spend the night cuddled up next to them watching your favorite movie
•If you fall asleep, they carry the mattress back to your nest (with you on it of course) and all fall asleep in your nest with you
•They love you so much and want you to have the best birthday ever:)

Could you write reader finding out food tlb liked from when they were human/their childhood and making it for them as a gift?
I know you wanted a fic but I have so so many thoughts about each of the boys that I'm gonna collect them all in this post!
The Lost Boys: Their Favorite Old-World Foods
Marko:
The little Italian stallion <3333
I HC him as growing up in inner Florence, Italy, during the artistic revolution. He was fairly elite/in high demand as a model
Basically, a brat with an ego
Still despite rubbing shoulders with the greats, he loved to come home to his family’s little city house and eat his mamma’s cooking
I think Marko’s favorite ‘old world’ dish is Garmugia: a simple springtime soup with cured pancetta, lima beans, scallions, and all sorts of other green veggies
It’s not fancy or especially delicious at all. But I think the smell, the taste, would make him freeze up, flooded with memories
and maybe for a second he’d stop being a feral, combative, snapping undead animal, and you’d catch a glimpse of the athletic young human from centuries ago
Dwayne:
My personal HC for Dwayne is he got put in a residential school for native Americans at a young age, basically ripped away from his family

(Which to me gives him a very strong “I fucking hate capitalism I truly hate this country and deep down I do genuinely want to see this broken system burnt to the ground, also FUCK cops” mentality)
I think Dwayne’s most memorable old-world food would be Gingerbread. Not the gingerbread we know: a soft, cake-like bread flavored with molasses, ground ginger, and cinnamon. Very dark and not very sweet
He worked odd (and illegal) jobs to stay alive and when winter rolled around street vendors would sell big hot slices of the stuff
Bringing him some real, legit circa-1810-gingerbread would probably make him remember the far-distant, little moments of actual joy he had in his human life
AND you’d probably be able to convince him to actually talk about his past for once
Paul:

In my mind Paul is rural midwest, late 1800s when the industrial revolution was really kickin’ off and the cities were poppin (with drugs and alcohol lmao)
He was probably raised on a farm & did farmwork most of the time. Picture him in a low ponytail and work duds, pitching hay. That was probably for the best because that dude 100% has dyslexia and a math learning disability
But oooooh he was prettyyyyy and he knew it: I think Paul eventually ran away from his family’s farm and basically became a partyboy in a big city, like New York, and was changed there
I think Paul’s favorite old-world food is (brace for the cliche) Apple Pie!
Probably a rare treat his momma and sisters would cook up in the autumn and winter: smelling a good, home-style pie now makes him think of barefoot evening sitting on the farmyard porch, listening to cicadas
Unrelated, but I think Paul- that’s right, partyboy druggie bonerboy Paulie- still remembers how to tie a hog
David:
I have conflicting thoughts abt this motherfucker
His backstory HC for me is still a little elusive, but I have some basic details for him
He comes from a pretty fucked-up biological family (probably a crazy-abusive dad and absent mother), was 100% drafted in a war at some point (I suspect the civil war), and 100% deserted his station in that war. Out of cowardice, fear, or distain, I don’t know.
I don’t think David really has a favorite food?? He’ll eat plain rice. Plain, oily noodles. Hard-tack biscuits. Literally anything like whatever it’s not his personal thing
David like drinking and smoking. I think David’s favorite old-world vice is Irish Whiskey. Again, not the drink we think of. A lot less refined, very rough and coarse: it was the most popular and easily-accessible spirit in the 1860s
I think it reminds him of ‘simpler times’: just him, alone, human, in a dingy old bar, getting the cheapest drink he can get, ducking his head to avoid being seen by military officials and wondering where he can run away to next
Give him a straight shot of Irish whiskey in an old-style enameled bar glass and it’s one of the only times he won’t be full-on Mansplain Manipulate Manwh0re: he’ll probably sit on a beachside bench with you, drinking in silence, watching the waves crashing far away. Lost in thought. Looking as old as he really is.

David: Loyal
He wants someone who would follow him ANYWHERE no questions asked
It makes him feel like a god tbh
The person doesn’t have to start off loyal to him, but they need to be loyal to someone or something
Michael: Nurturing
Listen, the boy has some daddy issues
He doesn’t even realize he tends to go towards ppl with maternal/paternal tendencies
Mf wants to be babied when sick/ upset
He will do the same for you though
Paul: Clingy
I know this is normally a negative trait but:
He is also clingy, so if you are too you won’t be annoyed of him
He just loves physical touch
Paul wants someone who could spend all day with him, then cuddle and listen while he tells you everything that happened today

From the scenes in the movie, you can tell Star didn’t feel like she was apart of the group
So moving forward she only keeps ppl in her life who treat her as an equal

He likes to be a gremlin boy
So his S/O is gonna have to be willing to jump aboard the crazy train
He’s not the oldest boy, but Marko’s been around long enough to sprint towards anything he hasn’t seen before

But when he does, it’s for one of three things:

Leisure Headcanons
💋 David 💋
Is a skilled fire arm shooter. (Loves the cowboy aesthetic)
Has his own gun hidden in the cave.
Doesn't get the chance too often, but will ride a horse when the chance arises.
Likes wood carving. Mostly non specific whittling into basic shapes or animals. It helps him relax.
Movie nut! When the boys go the Max's store to fool around, David makes sure to tuck a movie or two that catches his eye in his coat. Tends to watch them alone, all the questions from Paul would just grate on his nerves too much.
I imagine David would be like REALLY good at origami for no particular reason. He doesn't even try, just once the boys do it just because and he's just the best at it.
I don't know if vampires can emerge in water in the lost boys lore, but if they can David loves to swim. Chilling in water clears his mind.
💀 Dwayne 💀
Skater boi! Does a lot of sick tricks, but when you can levitate it's less impressive. XD
Doesn't care for guns, but likes archery. Hammers his own arrow heads. Dwayne and David like to pick a spot in the woods to shoot make shift targets.
A real book worm. Will spend a lot of time just silently reading for hours.
Takes up knitting from time to time. He prefers hand knitted blankets and throws rather then the store ones.
Likes to make jewelry. Made his own necklace.
Enjoys all types of puzzles. Cross word, jigsaw, and brain teasers.
Can sew and offers to sew up holes made in all the clothes the boys decide not to get new ones.
🌿 Paul 🌿
Can play the guitar.
Also likes to sing, and is pretty good at it. Wanted to start a band, but the other boys weren't up for it.
Has the biggest music collection and is always hogging the tabletop/cassette/cd player.
Amateur photography. Just likes to take photos randomly. Some are really artsy.
Got really into tie dye for a while. Although he might have just been high.
When he wants to relax, Paul really likes to stargaze. Laying outside the cave looking at the sky and hearing the waves of the ocean just makes him feel at peace.
When David isn't using the tv monitor, Paul enjoys quite a few video games. He also likes to take on the arcade and carnival games at the boardwalk.
🪶 Marko 🪶
Aside from pigeons, Marko will try to domesticate a number of animals to the cave, including stray dogs, cats, deer, badgers, squirrel, foxes, bats, and even a black bear once.
He did in fact not domesticate a black bear, but he did wrestle one.
He does his own patchwork on his jacket.
Like David, he likes to sculpt into wood, but he usually carves patterns and landscapes into more grand pieces.
He's also a skilled painter. Mostly he'll paint murals on sections of the cave David says is ok for him to paint on.
He collects sea shells on the beach.
He'll style the others hair. Especially David who he'll cut and dye in the way he likes best.
🔥Pack Activities🔥
Dart throwing. The bigger the target the better. David and Dwyane are very competitive at this one specifically.
Rollerblading. Put wheels on shoes, what more can you want?
Listening to music. The boys have very wide music tastes and sometimes they cross over and they all like the same stuff. They take turns around the player of their choice to just smoke, drink, and listen to the sounds of the music plays.
Card games. Specifically poker when they're all together. They make things more interesting when they make bets.
And of course motocycle cruising and board walk loitering.
Something that always strikes me with vampires in fiction and indeed with any immortal creature with the high and emotional intelligence of humans. IMMORTALITY IS FUCKING BORING!
I mean, think about it. Imagine you're given all the free time in the world with very little responsibility with no fear of getting sick or tired allowed to do pretty much whatever you want. What would you do? Cause I would go stir crazy. So I came up with these dumb little head canons on how I image the boys specifically would pass the time in their little vampire lives that doesn't revolve around murdering and feeding off of people.
Of course cruising on their bikes come to mind. And there's a couple in the movie we get to see like Dwayne's skateboarding and Marko's fondness for pigeons but I wanted to throw more possibilities out there. :3

hc for TLB!
Dwayne has a little teddy bear that Laddie won at skeeball and gave it to him.
Paul gets jealous and steals the teddy bear when Dwayne isn't around.
Dawww, dude, that is so cute!🥰And so like Paul to steal the bear when Dwayne isn't looking. 😅
I imagine they all, despite the bear being gifted to Dwayne specifically, end up with the bear at some point. No one is surprised when they catch Paul cuddling up to it on the sofa. Or when the bear is, for some reason, sitting on David's wheelchair throne. And, a time or two, they found the bear up in high places that Marko often frequents in the cave. It is, however, harder to find the bear when Paul gets his hands on it. For he too often forgets where he hid the poor thing.
Dwayne seems annoyed when this occurs, but only on the outside. Internally he is smiling fondly at how all the boys seem to cherish the bear just as much as him. In the end, it always ends up back with Dwayne. Especially on nights when Laddie is cuddled up under his arm, listening to Dwayne read him a book. All the while the bear is snug between their bodies.
