When Dwayne specifically does it, he’s telling you that you’re safe from harm

TLB Characters Favorite Type Of Blanket

A/N: I have no idea what this is or why I made it but I haven’t posted anything creative in so long. Yall ever love something but the thought of actually doing it makes you stressed? That’s what writing has been for the past couple months ugh :[ I miss it sm but I never like anything I end up making and keep deleting my progress. Oh well, hopefully I stop doing that soon and enjoy this pointless headcanon

ALSO: yes most these characters sleep upside down from the ceiling, but I like to ignore that bc tbh I want to erase the fact they have those weird ass feet. To me those monstrosities don’t exist. If you like the fact they hang from the ceiling then these headcanons are just for sitting on the couch or cuddling. They also don’t really feel temperatures but again I’m ignoring it:]

Duvet

A big fluffy one filled with cotton

He’d never tell anyone, but it makes him feel safer

It’s similar to one his mother gave him in his human life

He rolls it up like a cocoon

He doesn’t even leave a hole for his face bc he doesn’t need to breathe

Paul and Marko use this to their advantage and prank him atleast 2 times a month

Dwayne shoos them away if he notices them trying to bother David when he’s asleep

MARKO

This man is weird ngl

He just sleeps with a sheet

He doesn’t mind using a different blanket when sharing

But if he’s alone it’s a sheet

He doesn’t like feeling any weight on him when he’s asleep

Might as well sleep with nothing

But he also likes to cover his eyes with it

It’s just soothing to him

PAUL

Weighted blanket

He LOVES to cuddle with ppl bc of their weight being on him

So when no one wants to sleep with him he pulls out this blanket

The boys and Star made him a custom blanket bc he wants it to be HEAVY heavy

If he was human this thing would crush him to death

He sleep walks/flys and this stops him

He needs help getting it off of him bc he’s usually still too groggy to put in the effort when he wakes up

STAR

Patchwork Crochet Quilt

She made it herself

Everytime she finishes a new project she added a new square made up of all the colors she used

Whenever David would see her adding a square he said something like “another square? That’s gonna be a big ass blanket”

She stopped the blanket when it reached 80x80 4 inch squares

She realized that that is, infact, a big ass blanket

She can’t even fit the thing on her bed

Most of it is just hanging off the side

She started a new one to give to Michael

But that one is gonna be smaller

After that she’s just gonna make one for each boy

MICHAEL

Normally shares with Star

She doesn’t even notice he’s using it most of the time

Once it gets big enough he uses the one she made specifically for him

Uses David’s blanket when laying with him

But the fluffiness makes him feel trapped sometimes

Just holds on to David for comfort

Can occasionally convince star and David to sleep in the same bed with him and they use Star’s blanket obviously

He and David sleep under the sheets when using Star‘s blanket tho bc it’s a lil itchy

But she doesn’t seems to notice the itch

DWAYNE

I’m just gonna insert a picture bc idk what it’s called

But this kind of blanket^ along with Satin sheets underneath

He’s like Marko where he doesn’t like as much weight

But really likes making fun of Marko’s sheet and doesn’t want to be a hypocrite

If he’s cuddling with someone he puts their head under his chin and wraps them up together tightly

When alone he keeps the blanket lose

Just in case something happens and he needs to get up quickly and protect the pack

Marko W/ A Werewolf Mate

DAVID MICHAEL PAUL DWAYNE

A/N: I FINALLY DID IT! Here’s the final part to the lost boys with a werewolf s/o series. This started last year when I made Paul’s post, and I really didn’t expect me to take so long finishing this💀 sorry to all my marko lovers that his took almost a full year to complete and enjoy:]

Marko finds you while strolling the boardwalk

He had separated from the boys in order to steal pick up some new paints

He’s a little disappointed that you’re a werewolf for 3 reasons

He thinks the idea of turning his mate and “corrupting” them is pretty hot

It’s easier to understand his mate’s emotions and feelings if they are eventually the same species as him

He’s been told since the day he was turned that werewolves hate vampires and now he’s scared you’ll reject him for it

But he doesn’t let it stop him from overall being excited about finding you

It’s been a couple decades since he got a new mate and he’s extremely curious what your personality is like

Will you be like any of his current mates? Or maybe something entirely new?

Marko’s mainly just hoping for someone who can keep up with his shananigans

Pauls fun to cause mayhem with but he’s also clumsy as fuck and normally they end up kicked off the boardwalk

At least until they can eat the guard who bands them

While Marko is still thinking of all the possibilities, you manage to catch his scent

Immediately you start running towards him

He notices you and starts to greet you

But Paul caught your scent, and wanted to protect his boy

He ends up tackling you into an alley and holding you down

Paul keeps asking you why you were trying to attack Marko but doesn’t trust you when you say he’s your mate

Well at least until Marko throws him off of you

It’s safe to say it wasn’t the first meeting either of you expected

But once everything got sorted out, and Paul gave an embarrassed apology, it ended up okay

Paul left to tell David and Dwayne what was going on, so you and Marko got to talking

He asked you to help him get the paints, and with the extra help, he also got a new sketchbook and some markers

With your supernatural speeds the two of you manage to out run the security guards and end up hiding under the dock, huddling together in order to avoid being seen through the cracks

He looks at you and breaks out into laughter, as quiet as he could, until you can’t contain your own laughter

Both of you whisper about the successful haul, until the giggles naturally die off

Staring at each other without speaking, you take in the other’s scents again

After the moment passes Marko has an idea

He smirks quickly before stuffing the stuff into his “shopping” bag and pulling you by the hand

Together you flee the boardwalk and don’t stop until you’re about 50 ft into the woods near the cave

You ask him what he’s doing and he tells you to listen to the noises around

Focusing as hard as possible, you notice a couple things: rushing water from the creek, an owl on the hunt, various animals walking, and finally, a group of ppl laughing near a camp fire

He proposes a challenge, first one to get a kill gets to make the first move

You chuckle at the idea but end up agreeing, shifting into your wolf form and darting towards the group

Marko is a bit in awe of your transformation

He had never seen anything like it

He doesn’t let himself fixate on it for too long long bc he realizes that now you’ve had a head start

Going as fast as he can, Marko gets to the campsite just in time to see you pounce

“Fuck!” He lets out a playful sigh as he helps take out the group, making sure there isn’t any stragglers

He fakes annoyance as you shift back, gloating about your victory

Marko is about to respond when you lean in and kiss him

He pulls away after a few seconds and you guys spend the rest of the night joking and getting familiar, eventually going back to the cave and meeting the others

Date nights for you two tend to involve some kind of scheme or murder

You pretending to be a dog and luring ppl into the woods to kill, testing each others abilities and seeing who’s better at certain things, messing with the rest of the pack, etc.

Marko also loves to play fight, so thank god you both have advanced healing

The full moon tends to make you more playful and increase your sex drive, and Marko is more than okay with both of those things

The only time Marko is gentle with you is the night after a full moon, when you’re dazed and tired from the heightened emotions and sensations you experience

But he’s right back to his normal self as soon as your better

After a couple years he starts getting sad about your mortality, so you both go to Dwayne for help

He figures out the rituals and items you need, and you and Marko set off to complete them

If you thought Marko was a sadist before, well you’re in for a shock now that you’re not a risk of death

He likes to howl at the moon with you at night, even though he doesn’t fully understand why you like it so much

He wanted to know if you play fetch since he met you, but didn’t know if that was a rude question to ask or not

He goes to the boys for advice on how to ask you but David just gets up and asks you right then

Now it’s a game yall play as a group

After a hunt they take a limb and throw it as hard as they can

If Marko is trying to hide something from you, like a gift or a conversation, he tends to throw things in the opposite direction

Your instincts are to immediately go get it

After the 3rd or 4th toss you figure it out and manage to stop chasing it though

He also thinks it’s funny to jokingly call you “bad dog/good dog” at random times and laugh when you give him a dirty look and growl

Marko doesn’t think it’s as funny when you bury his things in retaliation

Dwayne W/ A Werewolf Mate

MICHAEL DAVID PAUL MARKO

A mix between David and Paul’s reactions

He wants to seek you out the second he senses you

Bc duh

Mate bond

But he’s nervous you’ll attack him

Or the boys

Orr that you have a pack that would attack them

So he spends a few hours watching from afar

Even though you know he’s there

And he knows you know

It’s kind of a stand off between who will summon the courage to approach the other first

It’s him

Dwayne followed you into a bookstore and saw you pick up three books on his tbr list

So he just had to talk about them with you

As soon as he approaches, you know he’s your mate

It was uncertain until he got close enough for you to get a good sniff

The two of you end up talking for hours

Getting some human food to snack on while you get to know eachother

This leads to more and more dates until you eventually meet the others

It goes…. Better than Dwayne expected

David only threatened to fight you instead of actually doing it so he sees it as a success

Once David starts to trust you it makes Dwayne even happier

You two have really great communication

But don’t often use words

Just by watching each others body language also using Dwayne’s scent in your case you know exactly how the other is feeling on any given day

Which is how you knew about Dwayne’s discomfort with your mortality

Stronger than a human, but not enough to beat Father Time

So you went to max

He was the head vampire after all, if anyone could figure this out it’d be him

You and Max worked for days to find something, hoping to suprise dwayne

Eventually you found a book of spells and rituals that did the trick

When he realized you were immortal now, Dwayne did a literal backflip off the fountain

Now that your safety is less of an issue, you two did some experiments to see if werewolves or vampires were better

All in good fun of course

Raced eachother in human and monster form

Hunted for prey

Punched solid rocks

Ya know typical relationship things

In the end you guys didn’t care who won, just enjoyed each other’s company

It wasn’t a total issue to switch from sleeping at night to during the day, but you struggled a bit

When it was time for bed, you find it more comfortable to sleep in wolf form

Dwayne pets your fur until you fall asleep and then uses you like a pillow

When it comes to the Emerson’s attack, you were the one who convinced the group to have an actual plan

The Frogs’ missed Marko’s heart by a few inches, so David put him in a hidden section of the cave while the 4 of you went to the house

Just in case

In wolf form, you approached first, a little before sundown, to distract nanook

Michael had just assumed you were a vampire too, and now assumed you were just a big ass dog

You convinced nanook to run off with you

Leading him to a cage in the woods set up earlier in order to turn him into a hell hound for Sam later

Next you snuck in the house and found laddie

He was like yours and Dwayne’s son, so you wanted to make sure he was safe before anyone else

Putting him on your back, you carefully made it back to the cave a little after it officially became night

Paul put him in charge of watching Marko and flew you to David and Dwayne

There, you four went one by one in capturing the ppl in the house, working together instead of separately

They were all except Star and Michael given a choice of being a vampire or werewolf

Sam and Allan chose vampire

Edgar chose werewolf

It took about a decade for the group to be fully peaceful

You mentored Edgar while Dwayne taught the other boys, eventually seeing them as your other 3 kids

Nanook turned out to be a pretty great hell hound, and a decent conversationalist

I love you Y/N, love you so much it drives my every move.

Marko knew that it had only been 2 seconds, but god it felt like you were taking forever to answer. He loved you from the first second he laid eyes on you, and tonight was the culmination of 4 months of planning, his big act of love. Dinner under the stars: a mixture of both of you two’s favorite foods, a blanket he crocheted of your favorite colors, and a playlist of your favorite songs. Now he just had to wait a little bit longer, then he’ll have you and you’ll have him.

I love Dwayne. Despite how quickly the words left your lips, the invisible stake twisted through his chest painstakingly slow. Marko wished he could go back to those 2 seconds. Where did he go wrong? He cooked for you, he learned all of your favorite- oh. He had spent so much time preparing for the actual pieces of tonight, he had to ask Dwayne for help. Asked him to get to know you. All the time he spent thinking about you, was really time you spent falling for his brother. Dwayne compiled the mixed tape, because he was the one who actually knew why you felt so deeply connected to each song.

Marko ruined his chance. Thank god he wasn’t a human, or else he’d probably throw up right there. Even with supernatural hearing, he didn’t come back to the moment until you put a hand on his arm. Hey, are you ok? I’m so sorry, I- It’s ok Y/N, it’s not your fault. I’m the one who fucked this up. Please, enjoy the food. I’m feeling tired

Marko wiped away the first tear to drip down his face in almost 30 years, standing so suddenly a side of dressing fell to the blanket. He hardly noticed though, taking flight into the direction of the cave, ignoring your calls for him to stay. He couldn’t talk to you right now. Or the boys. Not to anyone.

David chose a free shot to punch Paul and Dwayne in public & they had to fake cry

The Lost Boys

How Dwayne Flirts

Very slow to introduce himself

Seriously

It takes at least a week

In that week he spends most his time watching you

And for the weeks/months it takes until your living in the cave

He doesn’t mean to stalk you, but he does

Like at first he’s just following you around the boardwalk, but then you go home early one night

He wants to make sure you arrive safely and once you do he’s curious to see how you act alone

He’s not a creep or anything; if you’re not dating him and you change your clothes or do something that feels too personal he looks away

Eventually after you’ve been dating awhile and you know he’s a vampire he’s gonna tell you about the stalking

But he’ll be genuinely confused if it freaks you out

“I was just keeping you safe darling”

Enough about that though

When he does speak to you, it’s after he notices that you’ve been looking at him and getting flustered when he catches you

He comes over and introduces himself, but lets you lead the conversation

What he does next depends on where you are and you’re vibes

If he ends up not actually liking you he does some pick up lines and cheesy flirting until he can get you alone and feast

On the other hand, you manage to make him actually stay interested? Well now getting together is his number one priority !

Boardwalk

If you’re more extroverted he lets you ask most the questions ppl say when meeting

“Where you from?” “What do you do for fun?” Etc.

He’d ask if you wanted to go to the concert or to meet his friends

He’s already noticed where you tend to go on the boardwalk and suggest those places to impress/ interest you

For an introverted person, he’ll think of one on one things to keep you comfy

Probably a bike ride so you’ll hold him w/o having to ask

Other options would be riding attractions, getting food from a stall and chatting, just walking around together, or if you seem comfortable enough he’ll show you the cave

Might ask the boys to stay back for a bit, then has to block out teasing comments in his head until he sees them again

He does a lot of little things, like paying for food or rides, holding doors, wiping food w/ a napkin, helping you on/off the bike etc.

Tries to be a full gentleman the entire time

Shop

You both go to buy or in his case steal the same thing

Or he sees you struggling to reach/ pick up something and helps

You make introductions and he carries your stuff as you walk around the store

He pays for your things & holds the door when you leave

Again he suggest activities based on your personality

Restaurant

He’s on a food run and sees you searching through your wallet/purse/bag for change

Steps up and pays whatever you hadn’t yet and places his order

Sits next to you and lets you lead the conversation while you two wait for food

When it’s ready, offers for you to come back to the cave and eat with them bc he wants to keep talking

If you say no then he’ll walk you out of the store and to your car or home if you’re walking

“Can I see you again sometime? Preferably when we don’t have to rush food home?”

If you say yes then he makes plans based off your vibe

Surprisingly chill if you say no

He’s not gonna stop stalking you, and after a little bit “bumps into you” again and puts on his full charm trying to sway you

If you’re still not interested then he does his best to move on

Defending You

Sees you looking uncomfortable around a group of Surf Nazis and steps in

Scares them off

Eats them later

Tells you not to thank him bc it’s “the decent thing to do”

If you want to repay the favor, he lets you buy him something from a food stall, as long as it’s cheap

Offers to hangout with you in case the surf nazis come back

Again based on your personality he chooses an activity

For all of these situations he is very gentlemanly and polite, later in the night he does light teasing once your both comfortable

Some people could mistake his flirting for just being nice, and that’s on purpose

If he or you ends up not into it he can just pretend he was being nice for no reason

After you establish a friendship he keeps doing Acts of Service and getting one on one time with you

Teaches you to skateboard if he thinks it could become serious between you two

It’s EXTREMELY important that you get along with Laddie & the boys

If you don’t get along with Star he’ll be a bit bummed, but it’s not a deal breaker

Human Dwayne Being Turned By A Vampire Reader Head Canons

You’ve lived in Santa Carla for 50 years and despite the fact you see at least 100 new people everyday, you noticed Dwayne on his first night here

He was entering the boardwalks second hand bookstore, trying to find something new

You followed him in and strict up a conversation

He was friendly, but you could tell he was nervous about talking to you

You couldn’t help but let a giggle out when you read his mind

His thoughts racing about how attractive you are, and how he has to stay cool and respectful so he has a shot with you

You began talking about the book he had picked out, hiding your amusement when you saw the title

“A guide to the Supernatural Entities of California”

You tease him lightly, and he tells you sheepishly about his life long fascination with everything inhuman

By this point you’ve already decided he’d be yours, it’s just a matter of getting him to turn

The first step is introducing him to the rest of the pack, and hoping he gets along with your other boys

Thankfully, it goes really well

He clicks with all of them, especially Paul

You could almost feel your dead heart melt when he gave Paul one of his rings after Paul had complemented it

David telepathically communicated with you about how you guys wanted to go about turning him

Eventually you landed on telling him the truth, hoping his morbid curiosity about the dead would convince him

Not gonna lie…

He freaked out a lot a little bit

The boys helped you keep him contained in the cave until he had a chance to calm down

When he finally did, he asked if there was a book explaining the process and all the changes

There wasn’t, but explained what you know and told him he could write one himself during the process

After a couple more days thinking on it and bonding with the coven Dwayne finally agreed

He drank directly from your wrist as the group encouraged him, you gently stroking his hair and whispering promises of eternal romance
