How did Mal got a chainsaw as his arm? and how does he sleeps?
[He doesn't sleep very well, I can tell you that much for sure. The combination of brain damage and near-constant withdrawal from Bliss, a powerful narcotic, means that Mal doesn't sleep well -- ever.]
Tumblr media
[As for how he got his chainsaw arm...Time for a massive dump of lore! It's a modified extension of his body, so it doesn't need all of the "traditional" parts to work! The saw can rev and cut exactly the same as a normal one~.]

I haven't updated where we are on here in ages but we're officially on chapter 26 and now have the end in sight! Only 5 chapters left and with my life vaguely back on track we're back to weekly updates so this is a good time to jump on for new readers!
Ship: Wednesday x Xavier (wenvier) Rating: T Tags:
Fix-It of Sorts, Season Rewrite, Murder Mystery, Teen Romance, no beta we die like rowan, Bisexual Wednesday Addams, Bisexual Xavier Thorpe, Nonbinary Wednesday Addams, Nonbinary Xavier Thorpe, Wednesday Addams is Bad at Feelings, Enid Sinclair is Her Life Coach, This Was Supposed to Be a Silly One Shot Then I Wrote a 70k Rough Draft, Trying to Mesh as Much Lore From All Over the Addamsverse as Possible, Also Trying to Make Wednesday a Half-decent Detective Unlike Canon, 90s Pugsley Personality in a 2022 Pugsley Body, Wednesday Addams Would Not Be a Freak at a Freak School She'd Be an It Girl It's Just Facts, More Social but in a Deranged Way!Wednesday Addams, Wednesday Addams Engages With Teen Stuff for Science and Damns Herself to a Social Life, Other Additional Tags to Be Added, Tags May Change Rating May Change, Wednesday 2022 but It's More Like the 90s Movies Aka Everyone's Way More Cool With Murder, Nevermore but Its Got the Monster Mash Energy It Deserved, Minor On Screen Semi-Graphic Torture
MALCONTENT’S SUMMARY:
There are pros and cons to being shipped off to Nevermore. The Pros— she'll finally be going to school with people who aren't put off by a bit of carnage which means she might actually enjoy being there. Hell, she might even make a few friends or go on a date just to see what the fuss is about. The Cons— being sent to Nevermore out of all the outcast schools in America means she's trapped under the weight of her parents' own time there. It's a blatant attempt to get her to follow in her mother's footsteps, one Wednesday refuses to fall prey to.
Of course, that doesn't mean she can't find a way to thread the needle and get the best of both worlds. Wednesday is criminally clever, if anyone can find a way to vivisect the Teen Experience™ and spite their mother's expectations at the same time it's her. The serial murder investigation is really just icing on the poisoned cake.

Total Drama Psycho Noah AU, after the 'London Adventure' and the truth being revealed, Chris then decides to make this a reward challenge... The reward is that EVERYONE gets to be in First Class, with NOAH... Chris and Noah are curious to see, who will be brave enough to actually enter First Class, after learning about Noah's insanity... How would Courtney + Gwen + Duncan reacts to seeing the video of Noah's insane side showing? 😈 Would Alejandro and Noah still be friends? 😈
Listen, as much as this idea is so fucking funny to me, I really don't think it'd work from a storytelling perspective.
Though (not to push any agendas here, but-) if Chris were to hypothetically have the remaining contestants go against Noah in an enclosed space, in a sort of predator-vs-prey scenario, it'd probably play out something like The Beast chapter in Slay The Princess... without the "eating them alive" aspect, of course.
(Heavy Content Warning for that link, by the way. There's a lot of violence/gore/body horror, among other stuff, by virtue of it being a horror game.)
Maybe he'd lock everyone in the First Class cabin and turn off all of the room's electronics, so the only source of light in the cabin would be the wavering moonlight from whatever tiny windows are dotted around. Noah would use the cover of darkness to his advantage and toy with his competitors in a similar vein to how the Ripper had in their challenge that day, darting silently through the shadows to 'capture' his castmates, picking them off one by one.
It'd be a fun game of cat-and-mouse for Noah. For the others? It'd be a living nightmare. They wouldn't have the luxury of knowing that Noah wouldn't really hurt them, and the bloodlust they'd seen on that screen would be terrifying to watch but downright petrifying to experience first hand. They would be genuinely fearing for their lives, in a way that Chris hadn't been able to prompt since the early days of Island, and the host would love it.
Not that he would do that. And not that Noah would actually attack anyone either. (Without reason to, of course.)
But you are right about one thing; if this AU were to become a fully-fledged story, the London challenge would have to be a reward, just to keep Noah in the competition. Because he literally snapped Zeke's arms like chopsticks- his team would vote him out in a heartbeat just by virtue of him being so dangerous.
Which means the whole of Team Chris (plus Duncan) would be sharing a poorly-lit, structurally unsound cabin with someone they're terrified of.
...Owen notwithstanding, since Owen's a sweetheart and he knows Noah.
But the others would be immediately on guard around him. Noah, knowing there's no reason to keep up his ruse of sarcastic apathy, would probably relish in their fear- he enjoys tormenting people, after all, especially when that torment is purely psychological. So he'd carry on playing the 'unhinged, bloodthirsty sociopath' just to watch the others squirm.
He'd probably make a huge show of still having the Ripper's knife, tucked safely in the sleeve of his white undershirt, and comment that he and Duncan could be 'knife buddies' or something. If only to see how the punk's pierced face would drain of all colour at the prospect of Noah having a sharp object. (Duncan would absently rub at the puncture scars on his hand, to Noah's delight.)
But it'd eventually get boring, I imagine, so Noah would do something to reassure his teammates that he's not some ethics-devoid monster hellbent on destruction. Because having your teammates be in a state of constant paranoia around you would get annoying after a while, and it'd impact their performance in the competition (which Noah isn't really all that concerned with, but Owen is, so Noah doesn't want to do anything to jeopardise their chances of winning challenges).
So he'd drop the exaggeration of his more violent traits, and intentionally show off the unharmful aspects of himself- namely by koala-clinging to Owen and acting 'normally' like they'd done before the London challenge, and/or by approaching Tyler to ask how he was feeling after being stretched on the rack and sheepishly apologise for leaving him behind (showing empathy and remorse, to humanise himself n front of his teammates).
He's insane, not heartless.
As for Alejandro...? I have no idea. Would he even want to risk approaching Noah to find out if their shared comradery was all a ruse? Would whatever tentative trust he had in Noah be completely shattered by the reveal? Or would he be so engulfed by his need to win the competition that he only views this new development as a boon, since now Noah can be more of a physical asset for their team?
It'd probably be a mix of all of these. Alejandro would be left off-footed by the reveal of p!Noah's 'true self' (however much of his 'true self' he's willing to show to others) but I imagine he'd be quick to ally himself with the guy who can break bones like they're chalk and deceive a whole cast of people for two and a half seasons, regardless of any personal misgivings.

What is the nature of Mal? That is, his attitude. From my point of view, from this blog, he is someone who is reserved and serious, but can be loving and cares about us. Similar to Don, I think. Or is it someone rude, who takes the opportunity to humiliate you and doesn't care?
Lynn: If I had to describe Mal's personality, it would be confidently cocky. He's got this "give no fucks" but "always in control of the situation" attitude when around others. I think it's a mix of his normal self and a defensive front he built up over the years. But when alone, his guard lowers and his softer side gets to come out. Yet if you want something better, here's his bio sheet.

Preview:
Aunt Desdemona was the “youngest” (outside of the fact that Ophelia was older than her mother the birth order remained strangely elusive) of the Frump Sisters and the Nevermore history teacher. She was a tall woman with sharp features that made one think of a Noir Femme Fatale, this was aided by the fact that she dressed as though she lived in the closet of a 1950s dominatrix creature feature tv host. She was honestly someone Wednesday could almost admire— she was intelligent, self-sufficient, a world traveler, and seemed completely fearless. The issue was that Aunt Desdemona was a nosy, obnoxious woman. The kind who ended up the only person who made money out of a faux feminist MLM and knew everything about everyone and hung it over your head when it suited her. She was also terrifyingly perceptive and good at making ultimatums. Outside of Wednesday’s general embargo of family communications beyond talking to Pugsley and not wanting to associate with a relative who was also a teacher for cringe reasons, that was the main reason she had avoided her.
Wednesday’s detention with her amounted to her fighting for her life to maintain her privacy against her Aunt’s top-tier interrogation tactics while she day drank, graded, and subjected Wednesday to episodes of Riverdale for her own sick amusement. Honestly, Wednesday was fairly sure it counted as child abuse. If she hadn’t been the victim of it she would have admired the sadism. As it was she’d spent an hour in discomfort and visceral fear that her aunt would learn about her flirtation with Xavier and tell the extended family, or use the threat of that to bend Wednesday to her will. It was a borderline impossible task and she’d almost given it away a few times. Her sanity had yet to recover from asking him to the Rave’N, she was just looping portions of their conversation in her head and every attempt to stop it failed. She’d never felt so out of control of her life as she did sitting there replaying the interaction while trapped in her Aunt’s lair.

I interpret Kaz's relationship with his dad a little differently from that one convo. He says something like 'he knew better than anyone that we didn't have the money' and I took that as his dad wanted him to go and have fun like a normal kid and not worry about the money. Of course, I don't justify physical discipline and it is abuse, even if the parent is well intentioned. I think that Kaz does love his dad and they're relationship might be more complicated. But you know that's just one of the many things he needs to work out in therapy.
(Again this is just my interpretation and I'm not saying yours is wrong. I do love the art.)
Just gonna use this as a little jumping point to talk about this bc why not, warnings for obviously sensitive topics
I dont think you're wrong, I actually probably agree, but one thing;
It's not uncommon for public perception to weigh more than actual actions or intent. In the example given, I see it like so; yeah, Souda sr. wanted his son to go on a field trip that they couldn't really afford. Yeah, Kaz wanted to help the household by not going on the trip and saving the money. Both have good intent here. It's not about that, though, because in Souda sr.'s eyes, refusing to go on the trip is like admitting that they're poor, which is like saying the father can't provide for his family, which is like public humiliation- in his eyes. In a fit of rage (and insecurity, if it's something that's already weighing on his mind, as these things often go) the assumption isnt that his son was trying to help, just that he did something that makes the father look bad. Which is a bigger trigger than most things, often, for patriarchal authority figures.
And it not an excuse for physical harm, no, nothing is. Probably, Souda sr. knows that, and didn't mean to snap- doesnt think he committed an act of child abuse- but he's been under a lot of stress, and his son was talking back, and, well.
I think they do usually get along alright, and Souda sr. does his best to provide for himself and his son and keep their relationship good, and Kazuichi is genuinely grateful for everything his dad's done for him? But in the end, it's another person Kazuichi trusted teaching him the lesson that people will let him down and hurt him, in some way at some point. If your parent whom you trust has made you genuinely afraid of them, it's hard to come back from it, and someone as anxious and emotionally sensitive as Kazuichi will hold onto that forever, probably, even as he might internalized some of it as his own fault.
It's a lot more complicated than just "bad father, sad son" (but again, not excusable, you don't hit your kids period). It's father and son who love each other and might be the only family they both have, but they clash horribly on occasion, make up (or don't talk about it at all), things die down, stay good for a while, then there's another clash- so it goes, even if the bad times are only occasional. The biggest Thing about these kind of relationships, to me, is that it's so easy to fall into a routine and let things stagnate, and before you know it, it's just How Things Are and it's easier to just deal than start rocking the boat.
