90s liam gallagher x reader

Liam and I knew each other very well. That’s not to say we didn’t hate each other, we definitely did. Opposing opinions on everything, clashing personalities, drunken bickering, etc etc etc. We had first become acquainted through our respective best friends, whose wedding we were currently attending. The bride, my best friend since third grade, always insisted that one of these days Liam and I would be all over each other. And so us being seated next to each other was definitely a diabolical little joke of hers.
“Anyway, I’ll see you around,” said the guy whose name was Aidan and who had just loitered around our table for the last few minutes, peppering small talk at me. I smiled and nodded as he waddled away with a hand rubbing the back of his neck.
“He was sweet,” I said casually, forgetting for a minute it was Liam who was sitting next to me.
Every couple minutes he had been tugging on his tie and by now it was significantly loosened around his wide neck. He was playing with a toothpick between his finger and thumb and he nodded blankly.
“Yeah. He fancies you.”
“What?!”
“He’s absolutely undressing you in his mind right now,” he piled on and I rolled my eyes.
“You’re sick.”
“No, you’re sick for thinking he’s not dying to take you home.”
He accidentally flicked the toothpick across the table and sighed, letting his choppy hair fall around his face as his head dropped in frustration.
“You’re certainly stuck on this idea, aren’t you?” I asked, searching for eye contact.
“Well,” he scoffed softly and nodded his head in my general direction with eyes wide and brows raised. My heartbeat quickened slightly and I smiled, fighting to hold in my laughter.
“Do you wanna say that I look good tonight?” I suggested and was met with stunned silence for a second. In the two years we’d known each other he hadn’t ever seen me in this type of formal wear, and I realised now he had been actively steering his eyes away from the body-hugging dress and my cleavage all day.
“Didn’t mean to accidentally compliment me, did you?” I teased further and he let out a pained breath, gazing away maybe to hide his hot cheeks.
“Which one would you let take you home?” he tried to steer the conversation back and I laughed gently, looking out at the room full of people.
“That guy in the blue tie.” I pointed at a man with swoopy blond curls some tables away. “I really love blond men.”
Liam chewed on his lip and scowled in silence for a moment, twitching his eyebrows at my teasing comment.
“Good. You’ll have beautiful children.”
“Oh, I’m not interested in children. I just wanna have lots and lots of sex. In lots and lots of crazy positions.”
He grimaced, cheeks still warm, and he turned his face to me at last.
“Now who’s the sick one?”
“Maybe the one who’s picturing me having lots and lots of sex in lots and lots of crazy positions?”
“Or the one raving about it,” he countered, his eyes doing a quick, barely noticeable, scan of my body up and down.
“Or the one imagining it was him doing it with me.”
“So that would be Aidan.”
I laughed at his quick callback and rolled my eyes, leaning back in my chair. He laughed faintly with me too and mirrored my leaning back after grabbing another toothpick from the middle of the table. I watched him toy with it restlessly and tap it against the table for a few seconds until it was getting on my nerves.
“Stop fidgeting!” I complained as I snatched the toothpick from his hand.
“Okay, mom,” he sighed in a jokingly juvenile voice and I smirked back, laughing softly.

• Imagine meeting him at a pub, late night, somewhere in central london. You dont particulary care for the drinks, youre just there because your friends are.
• Imediatly you catch his eye, he's never seen someone quite like you. Your enegry is different, glowing.
• You get talking, about whatever painfully avarage football match is playing over the bar, or whatever was on top of the pops last night. You have so much in common, yet youre such different people.
• He doesnt act the way he does in the tabloids, not around you. His usual rude, loud sassy demeanour is dropped instantly. He acctually listens to you. He doesnt interupt, or disagree, he just sits there on the stall, laughing and nodding his head and any drunken joke you make.
• He would ask for your number, ripping off part of a cigarette package and asking the bar tender for a pen, hastily writing it down.
• He orders your last drink, and kisses you goodnight as you leave.
• The next morning, he calls.
• You could talk for hours, conversation so natural between you. As if you have been friends for life. He asks how you slept, how your morning is, whats for breakfast.
• He finnishes the hour long call with a request of a lunch date.

Of course he trust's you and know's that you'd never actually act unfaithful —still sometimes just like any other human in love,his jealousy and insecurities begin to rise up whenever he sees you with someone else. Be it man or woman.
Will hover between you and whoever that he suspects has their eye's on you,if he feel's extremely threatened he would pull your waist and subtly hint that he didn't like where this was going.
In rare occasions, well not all that rare he would just call the person his favourite catch phrase.

something something a fanfic in which Ian is best friends with Yevgeny and then he timetravel and falls in love with his best friend's father.
I like to think that in this version he was raised by Clayton cause Monica obviously couldn't, and canonlike she wasn't in the picture much. He then lives with his father, stepmother and siblings but doesn't quite fit with them. Yev was raised by Svetlana and never knew his father cause he left when Yev was a baby.
When Ian travels back he is saved by Mandy. He says he's a Gallagher and she's like "I know the Gallaghers but I never saw you!". He's introduced to his "cousins" who immediately take he in like a brother? Who he is cause of Monica.
Then because of Mandy he gets to know Mickey and younger Svetlana and baby Yev and it is extremely fucked but... my dick's in your dad mouth, sorry Yev!
Gallavich: they start as friends cause Ian quickly hits off with Mandy, and soon Ian gets to understand the difficult situation that led to Yevgeny's conception and why Mickey probably left them when Yev was still a baby. Then, feelings come along and Mickey's deep in the closet but Ian's nothing if open-minded so with time it works out. Ian doesn't lose interest even though Mickey has a wife and baby, he isn't scared off easily, and Yev Svet and Mandy all like him so that's a turn on. Ian likes older guys so the fact that Mickey's an old soul in a hot young body who listens to dad music and is grumpy is what attracts Ian.
The future is forever altered. Ian now actually has a family of Gallagher's he actually likes and fits. Ian came along so Mickey never left the picture and now Yev was raised with his father around. Which changed the way Yev grew up to be, so he's not the version Ian knew, but that's alright cause then Ian gets to meet him again. And yes, they end up being best friends all the same, after all, Yevgeny watch the type of cartoons and listens to the kind of music and plays the same videogames Ian grew up with so they're very close.
#How do time travelers solve the documentation issue? "What happened, sissy?" Liam tried not to laugh.
"Captain Goes Off Half-Cocked happened."
She grabbed and drank milk from the carton, very unlike her . Then she shook her finger at an embarrassed Mickey.
"Papa saw us outside the movie theater and followed us in. Stalked us from the back row. I leaned my head on AJ's shoulder and heard, "Over my dead body, I can snap a neck and do a stint in Statesville, again !"
"Isn't AJ your bestie, not a date?"
"Yep, and she was wearing a beanie."

prompt: a saturday morning in a record shop with reader and her casual friend liam who works there

It was a sunny Saturday and morning was growing into noon. Out of instinct I had walked into the local record shop. The hanging lights were turned off, but large rectangles of sunlight laid across the rows of vinyls in front of me. Specks of dust danced in the light from the windows. In one of the boxes of light stood Liam, behind the counter. That was more or less all I knew about him. His first name was Liam and he almost always stood behind the counter, or sometimes sat on top of it with a hunched back. Oh, and the fact that he always seemed startled when I came in.
“Who’s that?” I asked, nodding my head at the record in his hand. There was a whole stack of them next to him on the counter as well. Liam lifted his hanging head and his eyes lit up slightly with excitement and a tinge of nerves. I saw right through him.
“New local band… Pretty cool.”
He had a tendency to shorten his sentences considerably, for whatever reason.
“What do they sound like?”
I made my way up to the counter and placed my elbows on it, laying my chin in my palms and resting all my weight on one hip.
“Um.. Kind of punk.. but softer.”
I nodded and watched him in silence as he resorted to inspecting the vinyl again, seemingly reading the same text over and over again. His skin and hair looked particularly soft and warm today in the late morning sun. He was wearing an Adidas crewneck that was so large on him that the shoulder seams ended mid-bicep. I could see some hints of his regular blue jeans from my side of the counter.
“Play some!”
He looked up again and the pale blue colour in his eyes appeared almost white in the sunlight. He waddled a few steps over to the record player and another long moment passed of near silence as he fumbled with the vinyl. Then a loud guitar pierced through the quiet and Liam turned around again, meeting my eyes. I gave an impressed smile and he nodded with a smile of his own.
“They’re good!” I said over the loud music and Liam nodded again. We laughed together at something, I don’t know what.
The first song ended quickly and Liam turned the volume down as the second one began, with a similar guitar.
“They’re really good!” I repeated and Liam agreed quickly.
“They’re playing tonight actually… at The Seven Stars..” he remembered. A small grin grew on my lips. “I’m obligated to promote them, you see,” he added hastily.
“I’ll be there,” I giggled and began wandering away from the counter. “I know you’ve been dying to take me out for a long time anyway,” I mumbled, smirking down at a record I had mindlessly picked up.
“Fuck off,” Liam muttered and laughed somewhat nervously. I glanced up at him and noticed the new red colour in his cheeks.
“Do you have that new Stone Roses compilation album then?” I asked after a beat, putting him out of his misery.
