In Anlehung an den NERD Jargon Y2K (steht für das Jahr 2000 und die mit dem Millenium – Jahrtausendwechsel befürchteten- aber nie eingetretenen Computerprobleme) hat das Duo Peel seine neueste Veröffentlichung Y2J genannt. Das steht angeblich für "Year to Jericho" und ist ein Nickname des Wrestling Stars Chris Jericho. Ich sehe die Fragezeichen hinter Ihrer Stirn dramatisch zunehmen. Da ich diese leider auch nicht aufzulösen vermag, lenke ich mit einer Info zum Duo Peel über: Peel ist ein Foster the People - Spin off der Musiker Isom Innis und Sean Cimino. Peel sind laut eigenen Aussagen inspiriert von der Musik der Madchester Rave Szene, von Psychadelica und Electronic und ganz viel vom Katalog des Indie-Labels Creation Records. Peel haben gerade ihr Debütalbum Acid Star veröffentlicht und hieraus möchte ich Ihnen oben angeführtes Y2J ans Herz legen. Euphorisierender Indie-Pop, der mich im Moment ziemlich glücklich zurücklässt.
