Convo from the 18+ discord about a very silly star wars crossover I wanted to share.

gremgeous the gem pillar Just had a GREAT idea for a star wars crossover Just dipper visiting the star wars universe for whatever reason (multiverse vacation maybe? Idk. Dipper maybe dusted off that old portal in a fit of nostalgia or smth) and palpatine finds him and tries to tempt alcor to his side by offering him power Standard stuff for the sith really Except Well If you offer a demon unspecified power, in what form are they going to take it if not in the one who is offering's soul? Biggest and best tasting power boost there is, really! And then maybe he takes over the empty shell of a body afterwards which may or may not grant him force acess and alcor has a grand old time making a mess out of running the republic (or at least running lose in the senate) This is like... early prequals or pre-preauals era maybe. When palpafucker is still undercover and being all covert and unsuspicious and stuff I call this.... "palpatines penechance for grand speeches and unspecific ominous statements to try and seem all powerful and cool and dramatic fuck him over" Or in shorter terms ... . "There's a demon lose in the senate" And it basically runs like that one john mullaney bit With a side dashing of that one journak 3 thing where bill posesses a guy, messes with a roman army and then makes a guys head explode Also like nobody knows who alcor is or that hes even there bc theres no demons or dream demons in star wars (that i know of) so he gets the run of the place Even moreso than back home in gravity falls bc no one knows magic, its all "force this" and "force that" Dippered probably spends a lot of time nerding out over the different alien species since they dont have those back in his dimension (theyve got aliens but theyre different kinds) and also about the laser swords (just like the one Grunkle Ford made for them all (Ford, Dipper, Mabel, Stan, Soos, Grenda, Candy, Grendas boyfriend, Pacifica, and even waddles and gompers) back in 2017! Good times, good times.)

Despite all the other mindbending weirdness and mindfuckery going on there The jedi are only mad abt alcor bc a few of their own started bleeding from the eyes nose and ears when they tried to investigate initially so theyre a little ticked off abt that, which, fair.

Also the blantant lying and lack of trying on alcors part is a little insulting to them as a whole ("does he think we'll really fall for that") and is slightly concerning to them ("who the heck is this, someone is inpersonating the chancellor of the ENTIRE REPUBLIC-" Which is, admittedly, a little concern worthy) but if the council is honest (or some of the council anyway) with themselves its pretty much the darn best entertainmnt theyve had in a good long while, headaches aside, sot ehyll focus more on the okd palpatines dissapernace and dealings than the new "palpatine" so long as he doesnt start doing anything ACTIVELY damaging to the republic. A little mischief doesnt technically count as harm- and hey theys preffer to find the og chancellor b4 upsetting and potnetially causing the new one to do smth drastic by attsmpting to out him (not that alcor would, its so much funnier to deny everything to their faces while blatantly lying but they dont know that. So caution (and stress) it is)

I think it’s possible? But I also think it’s entirely possible that they get the tattoos as a symbol of their love and a promise of sorts that they are through messing around, but they’re not actually married yet. Frankly, they already gave us all the wedding hoopla with these two, I’m absolutely fine with an elopement or quick courthouse style wedding, or just a couple of witnesses in a garden. Whatever they want! Let’s just get her done.

Also... I know I said it before, but I’m just in love with the idea of these tattoos. Such a great solution to their ring issue.

That fragman could be hinting at so many things, and it very well could have been misleading. So lets take each theory in turn.

Very possible. Engin thinking something had happened to Piril two eps ago did feel like foreshadowing, almost preparing the audience for something. It would be so heartbreaking if she loses the baby, and seems too dark for this show, but it is something that happens to millions of women, so we’ll see.

Also can you imagine after the way Piril stuck by Selin, if Piril lost her baby, and she then witnesses Selin using her baby as a pawn to get revenge on Serkan and Eda? I’d like to see Piril and Engin’s reaction to that. Though again I think that’s pretty dark, especially for the side couple.

I think this is a very good guess. Serkan probably will see a doctor after he passed out, and if it is another panic attack brought on by the stress of losing Eda, I could see a doctor telling him if he wants to move past the panic attacks, he needs to get at the root of his abandonment issues, which all lead back to his brother’s death. That could be why he’s getting out a box of his things and reading that letter. So I could very well see a flashback happening to Alp’s diagnosis.

I’m honestly fully onboard with Kemal as Serkan’s bio dad. I hear a lot of people poopooing the idea because of opportunity, but I think they told us when it could have happened. In their first meeting, (unless my subs were bad) Aydan mentioned that Kemal had returned once to apologize for standing her up when they were young and going to run away together. I assume that was the window. Kemal showed up years later (after Alp was born) to apologize.. they had a fling and there’s the opportunity for Serkan to be his son.

Though, to me, if they’re doing something with Serkan’s health it’s got to be related to the plane crash. The chest clutching since he’s been back is concerning, plus wasn’t his hand shaking at one point? So I don’t see him having some serious underlying issue that’s unrelated. This guy does not shy away from going to the doctor and was just in the hospital for probably over a month recovering, so you’d think if there was anything wrong before, we’d know it. Unless the plane crash acerbated something that’s genetic? And/or requires a match like bone marrow or kidney. I suppose they could give Serkan some rare blood type and that would be something applicable to most any ailment. We shall see.

This one I think is the least likely. It’s been very fuzzy how much time has passed, but at the minimum 3 months since they were supposed to get married and were having sex, so if Eda were pregnant I think she would have noticed the signs by now.

Ha! I remember making lists of all the reasons they would never kill Hook.

THEY WON’T KILL SERKAN.

And I’m even more certain of this than I ever was of them not killing Hook, and I was damn certain then.

There is literally not ONE reason for this show to exist without Eda and Serkan. Not one. This is their love story, and really, storyline wise, the show should have ended awhile ago, and the only reason they keep it going is to keep Hande and Kerem on screen together, making their magic. Seriously, that’s the only reason.

You see how Serkan dying would be counter to that, right? And if the show were about to end, trust me, there is nothing in it for anyone to have a tragic ending. This started as a romantic comedy, and will end as one, with a happily ever after. And if you’re still nervous, trust this, the production company is still hopeful to sell it into even more foreign markets, especially English language ones, a surprise tragic, twist ending that gets vilified on social media (and trust me this fandom is huge, vocal and capable) would really hurt those chances.

So even if we’re headed into a bad diagnosis for Serkan, he will be fine in the end, it will just be something for him and Eda to fight through. I promise.

I can’t wait to see that rain scene, and the after-the-rain scene and their motorcycle ride. The fragman was very beautiful, but it also felt very poignant and a little melancholy.

It’s interesting with the announcement that the second writing team was back, there were tidbits from several legit entertainment-type reporters yesterday that the show was going back to it’s roots being funny and entertaining. So a terrible diagnosis for one of the current characters, especially the romantic leading man, doesn’t really fit with that.

It the writers hadn’t changed I’d be more concerned, not about a character dying, just about the show leaning into some big sort of health-related melodrama. But I think whatever might be happening will be in service to the plot. As far as Serkan having a health-scare related to the crash, as I said above it’s very plausible. I mean what are the chances that a man survives a plane crash, is fished out of the sea, spends weeks in a hospital, gets amnesia and is perfectly fine 3-4 months later with no other repercussion? Doesn’t seem possible!

YESS!!!!! Please. I had completely lost hope with the last set of writers who seemed hellbent on normalizing her behavior. Look I’d be fine with a 3 minute conversation where Serkan tells her that he knows she’s a manipulative liar and the baby is not his, that he wants her out of their lives for good, and that if she ever comes near Eda ever again he will personally destroy her.

Is that so much to ask?

Though I’d like her to be humiliated in front of the rest of the team. Just so everyone knows what kind of psycho she is and no one in Edser’s orbit is tempted to give her another chance ever again.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. With the news that Sarp Can (Deniz) is COVID positive, he obviously won’t be back on set anytime soon. They could probably get some VO from him if necessary, for a phone convo, but I’m gonna guess he’s done on screen.

It’s time to write both characters out!

As for the 22-23, 25-30 writers coming back, that is the best news I’ve had in ages. They weren’t perfect, but the things they did well, they did really, really well. Their comedy, romantic scenes, heartfelt dialogue, accurate characterizations and penchant for sizzling scenes that “break the Turkish family structure” will all be most welcome. I’m really excited for the first time in ages.

I hope that the fact that nothing Selin-related was addressed in the fragman means that we finally have people in charge who understand that we are so damned fatigued of Selin that featuring her an active deterrent for viewers. Also I haven’t seen any evidence that Bige has been on set for 38. That doesn’t mean she hasn’t, it’s still possible, but it is encouraging that the ep will be light on Selin.

As far as the drama and angst, I think there’s more headed our way, however I’m hopeful it will be the good kind and not the kind that made us really uncomfortable and want to tear our hair out during the Selin/Deniz era. We know that Eda and Serkan must decide to stay together (spending time together, ring finger tattoos) so the point of the pregnancy storyline is done. When Eda found out Selin was pregnant, it gave Selin the chance for one last Hail Mary pass, and she took it, trying to break them up, but it failed. So it’s usefulness is over. She can’t keep the charade going because of Deniz, and because once Serkan has time to calm down and think, he’ll realize that any time in Slovania where he was so injured that it’s possible he doesn’t remember, he also would have been too physically incapacitated to do anything of the sort.

As for Eda needing some time, yes, things in 36 were just too easy for Serkan in terms of the fallout from his amnesic behavior. Episode 37 made him work for it and I think come to terms with the fact that, Selin manipulations or no, there’s work to do and things he needs to atone for. Putting her first throughout the episode, and showering her with love, was a good start.

The Eda and Serkan stuff goes without saying. It still floors me that she’s willing to pretend like she raped him (if he can’t remember because he was that injured and foggy, then it’s impossible for him to have given consent.) rather than just giving up and living the truth.

Agreed. I get Serkan’s guilt, and it actually shows what a good person he is, but he needs to get over it. Because seriously, all Selin was obligated to do when she got his call was to hang up, and then dial one of the following: his mother, his father, his fiancé or best friend/business partner Engin. That’s it. Call them and say, hey, Serkan’s alive, this is where you’ll find him. But NOPE! Instead she decided to fly there, manipulate him, keep him hidden and try to use it to get back with him. She made him beholden to her, just another in the long line of brainwashing and manipulation. Her flying to his bedside was the wrong thing to do, and it would be great if someone beside Eda recognized that.

I just want Selin and Deniz gone so we can focus on other things. Their presence on this show is a energy drain, and I want to focus on rain frolicking, motorcycles and bed sharing!!!!!

I think this is very well observed. Since the writers decided to go that way, I could buy it’s because Serkan feels too guilty about it all. We know how much he loathes making mistakes or being wrong or owing apologies. If that’s what they wanted to do, it would have gone a long way if they’d shown a bit more of him blaming himself, especially in 36.

I was also very happy that Serkan came out and said that he’s fallen in love with her again. My only thing is I wish if they were going to do that, they would have thrown a little more detail in the dialogue. Like Serkan admitting to her that he started thinking about her all the time as soon as he returned and met her, maybe admit that he slept on his office couch clutching her wedding invitation. A couple of things like that would have been very nice for Eda to hear.

Not so crazy that the show decided to use Selin’s pregnancy as the plot device to get Serkan to finally realize “oh yeah, what happened since my accident is a very big deal & now I have to face it & come to terms with it” but still glad it happened. Selin is obviously so much more in the wrong than Serkan but let’s hope her downfall takes place in the next episode.

All of this. I think you’re exactly right, Serkan tried to brush past everything and I’m glad that finally the other characters stepped up a little to help make him see that he had more work to do. Special shout out to Seyfi for his sassy comment about Serkan almost marrying another woman. And finally Piril was useful and acted like a friend, the first time she had since he returned.

Also! raw onions, disgoostang. And herbs like dill, thyme, sage, and chives give me a headache for some reason so I kind of avoid them

with tumblr’s new dashboard formatting, my icons feel a little bit big? so if I ever get around to making my own (and I do hope to) then I might shrink them by 10-20%? 80x80 is the lowest I’d go, defo, and I don’t wanna sacrifice the quality for size, either, so it could be 90x90 or 85x85, we shall see, ig?

Is All Sin Equal?

No, I do not believe that it is. I can show you a scripture when Jesus himself dignified that one sin was greater than another.

But before I begin I want to help people understand that there are many “scriptures” that people quote all the time that are not in the bible. I.e. “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.” , “For there is no one sin greater than another.” , “Spare the rod, spoil the child.” , “To beat your child is not to kill your child but to save it’s soul from Hell.” , and “God moves in mysterious ways.”

The point being: make sure you are searching into what people tell you. I’m not saying these are necessarily bad things to believe in, some are very sound advise but understand they are not scripture and should not be quoted as such.

Let’s get back to Jesus talking about greater sins:

The setting is when Jesus is brought before Pilot to be sentenced to his death. Pilot asked Jesus a question and Jesus refused to answer him. Then Pilot asks Jesus if he understands that he has the power to crucify him and Jesus tells Pilot that he has no power except the power that God allows him to have (It is funny to me, Jesus was being kind of stubborn) then Jesus says this:

John 19:11 KJVS Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Jesus said the Jews committed the greater sin for bringing him to Pilot than Pilot did for carrying out the Jews request to have Jesus killed for claiming to be God.

All sin has a type of category and there are many context clues and even pretty blunt scriptures, like the one I shared, about sins being over others. One of the greatest arguments for Equal Sin is found in Matthew 5 when Jesus says, “But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” God considers the thoughts and intents of the heart as well as our actions. Undersrand that thinking about a woman in lust is a sin and doing it is a sin but they are not the same sin nor are they of the same caliber. They both have different effects and consequences. Jesus did not say they were equivalent but in one’s own heart they had already made it real to themselves. But regardless of whether you dismiss the notion to lust or you dwell on the idea in lust, this type of sin only effects your mind/heart and it does not effect your body or their body. To elaborate on that statement: You can not get an STD from thinking about adultery nor can she become pregnant from you thinking about adultery. Understand me, I am not justifying sin, please let me make that clear. I am proposing that thinking and doing are two different things with two very different consequences even to God. Let’s make the severity of this example into a math equation.

Scenario #1: Man looks at woman and a bad thought comes to his mind but he immediately dismisses the thought and moves on. Sins committed = 0. Persons involved in the sin/s = 1. Effects: His mind and heart

Scenario #2: Man looks upon a woman in lust and then proceeds to eventual pleasure himself to this thought. Sins committed 2. Persons involved 1. Effects: His body, Mind, and Heart.

Scenario #3. Man looks upon a woman in lust. Approaches the woman and tempts her to sleep with him. They sleep together. Sins committed = minimum 4. Persons involved 2. Effects: His mind, body, and heart and her mind, body, and heart.

Looking upon a woman in lust and sleeping with her are clearly two different things.

Well a friend of mine who believes strongly in “All Sin Is Equal” told me “Well God considers them the same even if we dont.”

His argument sounds good but scripture shows us that can’t be so. Consider this. If God believed that thinking sin is the same as committing sin than he would have introduced consequences at the thought rather than the actions. There is a grace period between thought and action where a person has the ability to choose not to sin.

Think about this. Eve looks upon the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and “sees that it is good to eat.” She later takes the fruit and eats it and implicates Adam as well. If all sin was the same to God than Eve would have been killed or thrown out of the garden of Eden when she seen that it was good to eat, then Adam would have never sinned and perhaps God would have made a new woman or something but God didnt. He gave Adam a chance to think about the fruit and deny it himself. Obviously he didnt. Anyway, who knows how things would have been different. The fact remains, there are different consequences to different levels of sin. Here are the levels of sin. I made a post on Facebook about this not too long ago you can read more about if you like.

1. Unintentional Thought - When you think of sinning but dismiss it before you really dwell on it. It seems petty to be a sin but it’s human nature to sin. It’s the way of the flesh. We’re drawn to bad ways. This sin is like when a curse word slips and you feel that quickness of regret.

2. Dwelling on a sinful thought. Ex: Lust, Envy, Pride, The idea of murdering someone, etc. When we dwell on the idea of doing something wrong it becomes a worse sin.

3. Unintentional sins. Most people do not fully understand what the word of God says. Many people sin everyday casually and do not realize it to an extent. It’s still sin but it’s definitely closer to God’s grace than most others.

4. Regular Sin. There is and moment you realize you shouldn’t do something but you dismiss it and you do it anyway. We all have that moment when something in us says “I shouldnt” but sometimes that voice is small and the more we sin the smaller it gets and it can even disappear. Call it your consequence or upbringing but I call it the voice of the Lord or in my case, The Holy Ghost.

5. Premeditated Sin. - This is a sin you know better than to do. You know it’s a sin you’ve even thought about the consequences perhaps and you dwell on the idea of it and you’ve justified it in your own way. You’re now to the point where you’re going to do it no matter what. You get that “I don’t care” attitude. It’s like setting out to commit this crime.

6. Abominations - These are are different category all together. All Abominations are sin BUT not all sins are abominations. Think about it. Homosexuality is categorized under abomination. It’s a sin so great God hates it. But God is different than man bc God hates the sin and not the sinner. He can forgive a sin and it’d be like that person was never homosexual. They can live the rest of their life straight or abstinent and make it to Heaven.

7. Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost - This is the ultimate sin recorded in the bible. So extreme that God says that if anyone does it they can not receive forgiveness. After a person blasphemed against the Holy Ghost they are 100% bound to Hell and there is no way of reversing that. He allows the person to live the remaining years of their life and that’s it. Earth is the best they’ll ever have it.

There are levels and there are different consequences.

Different Levels Evidence:

Amos 5:12 KJVS For I know your manifold transgressions and your MIGHTY SINS: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right .

Different Consequences Evidence:

Matthew 23:14 KJVS Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the GREATER damnation.

You see there are greater sins and greater sins have greater consequences.

There are levels of rewards you receive in Heaven for how much you do on Earth. The same goes for Hell. There are harsher punishments for your sins.

I hope this kind of helps you understand a little better. I mean the fact is that ALL sin can and will get a person a ticket to Hell but no its definitely not accurate to stand by the belief that all sin is the same. It’s not all the same or else God would punish us for even our thoughts. Idk anyone in jail for thinking about killing someone. I don’t know any wives who have divorced their husbands for thinking about cheating on them. It’s just not that way.

“No sin is greater than another, for all sin shall receive it’s just reward by fire.”

I’ve heard this scripture for years and it’s not even in the bible. Nothing even similar. “All Sin Is the same/equal” or “No one sin is greater than another.” Etc it’s all scripture that people have made up to justify their sins in order to feel better rather than just asking for forgiveness and leaving their pasts alone. Move on as a new person rather than dwelling on the old. I hope I didn’t tick you off too badly by giving you scripture that contradicts something you’ve no doubt been told your whole life like I was lol but sometimes people get it twisted but one thing I’ve learned is that scripture never gets it twisted if you study it out far enough.

So all went according to plan. JG went home and everyone we tried to get to vote with us did. However this tribal did show that if someone wanted an easy vote to betray people I’ll be it. This tribal also probably marks the end of my fake idol play, no one would believe my now.

I’m happy jg’s gone but feel really sad that Heather feels completely alone in this game i knew I couldn’t let her know about the vote for my own good but she’s really taking it hard and it really sucks hopefully she can continue to trust me and we can make it far in the game together but idk how things will go from here on out

But on a different note can I just say iolaire had some of the strongest player of this season and I’m so happy to have been one of them it’s trully been a struggle and I would have never imagined making it this far when I first started

Ok so I was so worried that either me or Tara were going to get voted out. I was extra messy and befriended heather to find out what the other side's plans would be. Then, I got them to switch the votes to Stephen because if it was Tara they might have had the numbers. I also talked to Aundra and even though he really wants Stephen gone he still voted with us. At this point I need to lay low because I've been in the spotlight too much. Luckily JG is gone because he would have went hard against me! If I'm really getting voted out next I would want Tara to have my idol. She's a really good player I trust her so much she's my BFF!!!! I hope she backstabs me when the time is right.

Ik this is confession overload but IM SO EXCITED TO DO THIS CHALLENGE. I remember my first game seeing this get played and I was so jealous and now I’m here playing it! This experience has littered been a dream come true I’ve met awesome people and played a very good game in my opinion an this has just been really fun I’m really enjoying myself. And what’s made my experience more worth it is being hosted by Jay and Ali they finally get to see what they possibly saw in me the first time they asked me to play and I let them down I’ve redeemed myself largely and happy they’ve got to see it happen and I hope that they’re proud.

Wow. Didn't know I was going to be a villian in this season, but I'm honestly perfectly fine with that.

I was playing a mini survivor org with tara and becka and I kinda overreacted and got pissed at tara when she was just kidding around and I hope I didn't damage our friendship over this. Sometimes I don't trust her because she's such a troll and I question her loyalty in the games we play. It is so confusing because I want to support her in whatever she wants to do but I also really enjoy playing the game with her as an ally. I dont want it to end! So if she wants to blindside me I'd be happy for her but I'd also be CRUSHED. And the thought of blindsiding her before she blindsides me is tempting me way too much!!! Why does she have to be such a troll sometimes ajdshfkjashdf. LET ME LIVE TARA!!!

So I would have preferred if I had won immunity because the further into the game we get, the more likely it is I will he blindsided. Tara is really annoying me right now. She really wants rebecka gone and I don't even know why. Getting Heather out now seems like the safest option to me! We don't make anyone suspicious of us. I’ve openly campaigned ALL DAY to save Heather simply because she doesn’t deserve to be going home I really feel like she is getting robbed and it’s so annoying that I can’t control a vote for once and now heather is going home because of it another annoying thing is that these people don’t want to get Stephen out all they have to do is vote him out yet they’ve decided against it tbh I should’ve just let him get voted out when it wa going to happen it was somewhat nice to get to know him but i still strongly want to get him out

It has been brought to my attention that I am a "threat" who has a lot of "advantages" because people told me where some used to be. I have one advantage, but I am not going to say that. I sent Rebecka some quoted things that people have said about her being a threat. She said she will vote Ain with me but I don't know for sure if she will vote with me. This is my last effort to stay in this game, and it could screw me over, but it is a risk I am willing to take. Ain will not get any votes in jury and I will make sure of it when I get to ponderosa, her game has been messy at best. Yes I may be saying this out of anger, but it is called jury management and so far she has turned her back on every person in the jury minus maybe Tim. Aundra told me he loved bitter juries, well I may be that bitter jury member to Ain. Love you girlie but also, buh bye.
