DPXDC Prompt#61 Part 3
Danny was kind of in awe at the Batcave. Of course he hadn’t seen it, he never met his father either and really wasn’t looking forward to the conversations he was about to have with everyone here.
He looked around while Batman watched until he cleared his throat and motioned for Danny to follow him. They eventually made their way into a conference room where Red Robin was already sitting typing something away on his laptop. He smiled and stopped what he was doing when he noticed Batman and Danny walk into the room.
“You do look just like Damian! Well I guess you are Damian in your universe, you said you came from an alternate world right?” Red Robin started as Batman and Danny took their seats at the table.
Danny took a deep breath before he started talking, “Yeah, but I don’t go by Damian anymore.”
Batman and Red Robin seemed surprised at this, “Wait really?” Red Robin asked, looking genuinely surprised, “Your counterpart here really prides himself on being Bruce’s blood son.”
Danny remembered being told how great Father was by Mother but the fear of being found alive after he fled made it impossible for him to find out. He knew he should probably get back to his own dimension but the thought of getting to know Father even a little bit and even from another universe made him rethink getting back as soon as possible.
“I… fled the League, I went into hiding, so I changed my name. I’m sorry but we’re strangers in my world.” Danny finally said after gathering his thoughts. He waited a moment but when no one said anything he continued, “You can call me Danny, I live in a small town called Amity Park in my world.”
“What else can you tell us about your world? If we can figure out what got you here we can figure out how to get you back,” Red Robin asked.
Danny thought about how much he should say after a moment. He could tell his counterpart here did trust his Father, he could tell from his body language from their brief encounter. He decided after a moment it would probably be fine to reveal himself here, if the him from this world trusted them then he would too.
“This isn’t easy to tell you but I’m not getting back the way I came. The portal that got me here was one way.” Danny started, “There are natural portals that kind of pop in and out of all worlds that lead back to the ghost zone or Infinite Realms as I've heard it called by some of the ghosts.”
He let them soak in the information before continuing, “The folks that adopted me built a portal to this realm and while I was in a fight I got thrown through a natural portal and ended up here”
Red Robin seemed to raise his eyebrow at him, “Ghosts?” he asked skeptically.
Danny sighed again, “Yes, I don’t have an easy way to get back is what I’m trying to say”
Batman thought about things for a moment before speaking, “You're welcome to stay here until we can get you back home, I have a colleague through the Justice League that would know a thing or two about the supernatural. We can talk about things in the morning for now let's get some rest. It sounds like this will be a long term thing, so I will have Alfred take you in the morning to get some clothes and basic needs.”
Batman stood up and left the room probably to change out of the batsuit. A few seconds passed and then a knock on the door was heard and an elderly man wearing a suit walked in.
“Master Tim, Master Damian, Isn’t it time you both got ready for bed?” He asked.
“Oh right, Alfred, meet Danny, he’s Damian from an alternate world.” Red Robin said before standing up, “I’m headed out to change out as well. Danny, Alfred can show you to the room you’ll be staying in while you’re here.”
Danny turned to Alfred, “If you’ll follow me, Master Danny”
He followed the friendly butler out of the room and up some stairs before they got to the main floor. They turned down a few different hallways, honestly Danny would be more worried about getting lost if he didn’t have years of training navigating complex paths.
When they finally got to Danny’s room they parted ways and Danny headed in.
It was a rather large room, larger than any room in the Fenton house that was for sure. Danny often forgot how rich his blood family was and now that he was here he was in awe of how different it was to his own life. The room even had its own attached bath. Danny took a warm shower before changing into some Pajamas that were left out for him.
Eventually he drifted off to sleep. He’d explore the mansion and Gotham tomorrow.

dead serious #2
 idea that league of Assassins has connections and deals with the ghost Zone/ infinite realms. Ellie gets destabilized and Danny needs help; he ends up going to frostbite and Clockwork. They tell him about the deals that a lot of the ghost Zone has with league of assassins. He panics because of the Assassins but they make it very clear that they can help. Danny is about 14 And Damien is turning 13.( I know Damien is supposed to be with his dad at this point but just go with it)
Ellie ends up the de Aged and Danny uses an artificial womb thing that Talia uses for Damien. Danny and Damien become friends during this time due to Talia and Ras wanting Damian to have good connections with the infinite realms.
There's an attack on the league that ends up with Damien getting very hurt in the lab that has Ellie, it affects something and Damien's DNA ends up helping Ellie grow. The DNA helps stabilize her but it also gives her another donor. Damian leaves to train with his father not long after the incident  but he does know there is a chance that she is technically now his kid though it is never confirmed while he is there.
I'm just imagining Damien knows weirdly niche things due to Danny and the bat family is wondering why he knows things like obscure memes or has opinions on fast food.
The bat family has to interact with the League of Assassins and Damien asks his mother how Danny and Ellie are and if the accident caused problems with development. Talia then reveals that his DNA did end up integrating with Ellie and that technically he is the father. He asks if she can get them in contact and he end up able to. When This entire thing happens All the family is fighting for their life and they're in a separate area so no one knows what this conversation is.
 They get into contact and end up meeting up when Damian is on a mission outside of Gotham. Damien leaves Gotham to meet up with them constantly and that pings on his family's radar. They follow him thinking he's taking down some sort of group without backup or he is contacting the league. What they find is not what they expect.
They Find is Damien talking with Danny cuddling under a tree while Ellie plays with Cujo. They don't realize Ellie is with them at first until Danny calls her over for lunch and she calls Danny and Damian mom and dad. They then proceed to question when Damien became a teen dad.

I Put A Spell On You
Fake Dating (Part 1)
**I know, it's not the one that I started writing and was really funny, I'm having a lot of trouble with that one. Enjoy this one instead!**
“I need your help.”
Damian frowned, stashing away the knife he’d hidden beneath his pillow. Danny was crouched on the sill of the window he’d come in through, looking at him with wide blue eyes.
“Tt. What do you need? It is well past midnight.”
“I need you to fake date me.”
“What?”
Danny flinched, and Damian realized how sharp his question had been.
“My apologies. Please explain to me what is going on so that I can best assist you.”
Coming fully into the room, Danny started to explain.
“So, you know my parents and holidays, right? They- they’ve started hounding me about bringing home a significant other since Jazz got married.”
Damian nodded- he was familiar with Danny’s parents’ personality, even having never met them.
“Anyways, for Thanksgiving, they’re threatening to invite Paulina over and make me sit next to her. Paulina, Dames! I wouldn’t survive. So I told them I had a boyfriend who lived here in Gotham, and now they’re insisting on coming here to visit. If they find out I lied, I’ll be dead! My grades are too good for an early death.”
“So you came to me.”
“You’re the only person I know well enough to pull this off, Damian.”
Damian pinched the bridge of his nose, a habit picked up from his father.
“And you did not think to tell them about-“
Cutting him off, Danny grabbed Damian’s face and looked directly into his eyes, a serious look on his face.
“Damian, I assure you it would be a fate worse than death if they found out how we met.”
Damian pulled himself away from Danny, glad for the dim light of his bedroom hiding the blush heating up his cheeks. The other man had never been that close to his face, and Damian would probably say that Danny’s eyes were more dangerous for him than the entire League of Assassins.
“Please, Dames? It’s Paulina we’re talking about.”
Closing his eyes, Damian thought things through. Fake dating Danny would be- a blessing and a curse at the same time. A blessing, as it would require him to be close to the other man for extended periods. A curse, because he knew it would end as soon as Danny’s parents left Gotham. For Damian, who had been struck by Danny’s beauty from the first moment he’d seen the other, the brief benefits might just outweigh the pain of them ending. At least he’d have the memory of being close to Danny.
When he opened his eyes, Danny was holding his hands in a mock praying position, looking up at Damian through his lashes.
“Tt. Fine.”
Danny lit up, literally, and then darted forward, planting a kiss on Damian’s cheek.
“You’re the best! They’re coming in to town tomorrow- drop by mine when you can!”
The other man slid back out of the window and flew off before Damian recovered from the kiss enough to protest the short notice.
~~~
The next day found Damian waiting outside Danny’s apartment, flowers in hand. He had done some investigation as to what he ought to bring with him to meet a significant other’s parents, so he was also armed with a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates.
The door opened soon enough after his knock, revealing an older woman he had never seen before. He could see where Danny got his frame, though, as well as his delicate features.
“You must be Damian! Come in! Danny’s elbow deep in the microwave with Jack. I’m Maddie- we’ve heard so much about you!”
“Thank you, ma’am.”
He stepped inside the apartment, handing Maddie the wine and chocolates after she closed the door.
“Oh, you’re a charmer, aren’t you? Danny!”
Danny poked his head out of the kitchen, and Damian almost swooned at the look Danny gave him.
“Hey Dames! Glad you could make it!”
He emerged, wiping what looked like grease off his hands, and took the flowers that Damian handed him.
“For you, Beloved.”
More importantly, he also took the short kiss Damian gave him over the bouquet.
When Damian pulled away, he was delighted to see that Danny was flushed.
“Uh- thank you! They’re beautiful.”
“Oh, you two are so cute! How long have you been dating?”
“Three years.”
“Not long.”
Danny and Damian spoke at the same time, and then Damian smiled smoothly, determined to fix his mistake.
“Perhaps I feel like our time together until now has been too short. Every time I see you, you are as beautiful as the day we met.”
He was rewarded with Danny flushing an even brighter red.
Maddie turned to her son, hands on her hips.
“You’ve been dating this polite young man for so long and hadn’t told us?”
Danny shuffled his feet, looking bashful.
“I didn’t want to scare him away. I really like him, mom.”
A large man came out of the kitchen, laughing a booming laugh.
“We can tell, Danno. It’s not like you haven’t been talking about him for the last few years.”
Damian looked over at Danny, doing his best not to let his expression show. Danny had been talking about him to his parents? For years?
Danny laughed nervously and then herded everyone into the dining room.
If he were being honest, Damian had pulled out all of his acting skills to charm the Drs. Fenton throughout the evening. He did not need acting skills for his interactions with Danny. He kept close to the other, wrapping an arm around his shoulder when he could and dropping light kisses into the shorter man’s hair when the opportunity presented itself.
It was heaven.
Danny walked him out to his car after dinner, and didn’t let go of Damian’s hand the entire way.
“Thank you for tonight, Dames.”
Damian smiled down at the love of his life.
“Of course, Beloved. Anything for my husband.”
With a scoff, Danny let go of Damian’s hand and stepped back.
“Sure, Damian. Drive safe.”
~~~
Danny Fenton knew when he was screwed. His parents had been in Gotham for a week, and Damian was still dropping by to see him on a semi regular basis. He’d even been touchy, and Danny knew that of all people, Damian Wayne wasn’t ever physically affectionate.
It partly gave him hope, and partly made him think this gambit was hopeless. He was aware of Damian’s extra-curriculars, after all, and knew the entire family were good actors.
And yet-
Damian’s parting kiss to him had been long and clinging the evening before his parents left, and he seemed reluctant to leave Danny standing in his own doorway. His hand lingered on Danny’s wrist, and his eyes were the last to tear away.
So, yeah. Danny was fifty percent sure that Damian might possibly reciprocate his feelings, but he didn’t have the courage to ask outright.
He hadn’t had the courage to ask much of Damian since they met, even though he’d been half in love with the other man the moment they laid eyes on each other.
It had been a routine summoning- He’d tasted the blood in his mouth, and while it did not necessarily taste like the blood of an innocent (he always went to bat for the victim in those cases), it piqued his curiosity enough to check things out.
He rose from the summoning circle, crown of fire wreathing his head as he showed off his less human appearance.
The cultists fell away from him, scrambling to bow and prostrate themselves in front of him.
“Oh great Ghost King! Please accept this sacrifice in order to take your rightful place as the lord of all worlds!”
Danny looked down to see a handsome young man in a well fitted suit glaring up at him, blood drying from a wound on his head.
When their eyes met, something changed. The summoning circle flared from Danny’s own ice blue to a sharp neon green, and something lit up under the chair the ‘sacrifice’ was tied to.
With noises of surprise, the cultists started to rise to investigate, but Danny snapped his fingers and caught them all in ice.
Landing, Danny inspected both the runes in the summoning circle and the one beneath the sacrifice, and then floated out of the circle to find the book the cultists had been using to summon him.
When he found it, he had the urge to finish these idiots off himself. They had somehow botched the ritual so much that they had turned it into something of a wedding, and now he was ghost married to a human civilian.
Turning back to said human civilian, he found the other on his feet on the opposite side of the room, holding an improvised weapon.
“Oh cool, you got free. Good news, you’re not going to die.”
The civilian stiffened even more, arching an eyebrow.
“Tt. What is the bad news?”
Danny shrugged.
“Oh, not much. We’re just kinda… Married now? I’ll find a way to dissolve it, or something, and you’re not obligated to have anything to do with me, but… Yeah. Supernaturally married. Is a thing. That we are.”
Civilian’s shoulders slumped, and he stalked out of the warehouse (why was it always warehouses?). Danny followed behind.
“Oh, hey, we’re in Gotham!”
“What does that have to do with anything?”
“Close to my apartment.”
The man turned to him incredulously.
“The ghost king has an apartment in Gotham?”
Danny let his transformation wash over him.
“Well, Danny Fenton does, and I’m him most of the time.”
“Damian Wayne. A pleasure.”
Damian held out his hand, and Danny shook it carefully.
“Totally! I’m gonna- go. I guess. And look into the ghost married thing.”
“No rush. It might be advantageous to be married to an interdimensional king.”
With a laugh, Danny lifted into the air.
“Sure. I’m cool with being friends, if you want. Maybe we can work together.”
“I can do friends.”

super cool ghost ice mega slide
(masterpost to my fics while ao3 is down) AO3
fic under the cut
Having another superpowered person as part of Batclan was great, even if he wasn't technically a meta (I'm dead, Duke, that's more of a medical condition-). Having a portable snow maker year round was even better.
Duke had taken to Danny pretty quickly after the younger teen had been picked up off the street, hurt and borderline delirious, surprisingly not by Bruce, but by Jason. Once he had been cognizant enough to realize in which city he was, and in whose cave, he had had a pretty major freak out, believing himself in danger through a mix of the idea that Batman hated metas and whatever had hurt him so badly in the first place.
After Duke had managed to get out of his stupor at seeing whatever it was the kid had become (and seriously, he had seen some pretty unusual things because of his meta abilities, but a 4k HD 1080p 4D experience of a real life eldritch being was not one of them) he had promptly kicked everyone out of the room in the med area (except for Alfred, whom he very politely asked vacate the room) to try and calm the kid down.
After revealing his own meta status, assuring the glowing kid that Batman didn't actually hate metas, he just wanted to protect his city from mind-controlled superpowered people, and that he was safe from whoever had hurt him, the kid had finally calmed down enough to return to a more human-like appearance.
From then it was really no surprise to anyone that the new kid (who could transform into an actual human, and really? Black hair and blue eyes again?) got promptly adopted and revealed information that got an entire branch of the government taken down by the blazing wings of fury of the entire Batclan (even Damian had quickly become attached to the newest kid once his katana was gushed about with the accuracy and fervor of someone who knows how to wield the weapon).
What had been unexpected was the kid having a connection to the Lazarus Pits (which were apparently something called ectoplasm) and being able to help Jason get rid of what turned out to be a huge amount of toxic gunk from himself, leaving him with only the good gunk (Duke tried not to think too much about it), which made the too dead-but-not-really boys bond quickly.
On top of all that the kid was also an engineering and astronomy nerd (as well as had a knack for math and physics), which appealed him to Tim greatly, and he made puns like would die (again) if he didn't, which appealed him to Dick, and, he preferred communicating with means other than spoken words (usually inhuman sounds and growls), which he bonded over with Cass, and he was actually good a baking, which appealed him to Alfred, and he was also already a vigilante, which appealed him to everyone else-
The point being, everyone loved Danny, including Duke himself, so it was a bit hard to get some to spend with him by himself, which was why Duke was going to make the most of this day.
He wasn't actually alone with the young half-ghost, Cass was also left at home while all the others went about some business or another out of the manor, but Duke knew hanging out with both Danny and Cass was often double the fun since underneath the chill facades both of them were actually feral little shits, so that wasn't an issue.
That brought him back to his first point: having a brother who could make no-melt snow on command was the best!
So now here they were, the three of them standing side by side on top of the tallest point of the manor, facing a slope so steep it was almost 90º degrees at first and then bent and curved all over the yard in ways Duke just knew wouldn't pass a safety inspection, those tiny cheap plastic sleds in hand (“for the full experience,” Danny said, even though they certainly had the money to buy other sleds). Duke was regretting some of his choices, looking down, but now he was committed, no way was he quitting, Danny and Cass would tag team on teasing him for the rest of time.
“Ready?” Danny asked, a too wide smile on his face and eyes open with the kind of crazed excitement only someone who was already dead could have.
Cass answered by putting her sled on the ground and sitting on it, position ready and her face mirroring Danny's.
Duke stood corrected, only people who were already dead, and Cass.
He really was going to regret this, wasn't he. Well, too late to back out now. This is what he got for hanging out with the two most unhinged people in the family, he supposed (and that was saying something, considering the kind of family Duke had).
“Sure, yeah, what's a little sled race down a death slope of doom?” the meta answered with more confidence than he felt. He was the Signal! He could do this! Besides, Cass and Danny wouldn't actually let him break his neck and die, right? Right.
Cass patted his shoulder sympathetically (as if-) as he sat down. Here went nothing.
“Remember, whoever makes it down in the least amount of time wins an ice cream! And no powers! You're up first, Duke!” Danny exclaimed as he pushed Duke forward.
Duke had barely any time to process the fact that he was already in a semi-free fall before he was already approaching the tunnels that made up the bottom half of the “super cool ghost ice mega slide” (patent pending). He remembered he did, in fact, need to breath, filling his lungs to the top and letting the air out in a scream.
The meta boy could do nothing but keep screaming as he reached speeds he was pretty sure went against the laws of physics, making loop-de-loops and turns so steep he thought he was going to slam against the side instead of turning a few times.
After what felt like an eternity but also too little time to have actually completed the Slide of Doom (more accurate name, in Dukes opinion), he finally made it to the end, promptly getting bowled over by a gleeful Cass and cackling Danny, who he hadn't even noticed were right behind him.
“Mmfffhblggggheroff-” Duke grunted, turning over and subsequently throwing off the other two into the surrounding snow. Danny accepted his fate, while Cass sat up and grinned at him.
“And?! Wasn't that fun?!” Cass signed excitedly. Duke was about to say it was terrifying, but cut himself short when he noticed he was smiling.
Huh. That actually had been fun. It had been really, really fun.
“We should do that again,” he breathed out. “We should do that again, but all together! More weight means more speed! We can see how far off the finish we end up!”
He was excited now, he was PUMPED! He grabbed Danny around the waist, carrying him like a sack of potatoes and and running up the ice steps (sibling with ice powers for the win-) back to the roof, Cass behind him with the sleds.
He ignored the ghost boy's protests about being able to walk (“and fly!”), eager to enact his new plan.
Once up there, he dumped his brother and accepted a sled from his sister, sitting down on it.
“Cass, sit on my lap! Danny goes on top because he's a lightweight!” he told the others, receiving a token protest from Danny, who got further teased about his half weight by Cass.
Once they were all settled, Duke got really to start them off by pushing with his legs when Danny yelled out.
“Wait!”
Cass and Duke looked up at him with questioning glances. In response, the boy got up, touched the slide and… Oh-hoho, this was gonna be good.
“There, it's extra smooth and slippery now. We're in for some Cool Running!” Danny said, settling back on top of the pile, grin matching his two siblings'.
“Alright, let's break some legs” Duke muttered, pushing forward with his feet.
And damn-
If Duke thought he was going fast before, they were racing the Flashes now!
All three siblings let out manic laughter, whopping and screaming as they held on to each other for dear life, the forces of the turns threatening to pull them apart.
As they neared the finish, Duke saw a shadow, barely having time to process before he was blinded by the flash of a camera.
They kept going a bit after the finish, the speed they came with not letting them stop, eventually colliding with a pile of snow and finally flying in different directions.
Duke couldn't stop laughing where he had landed, full of adrenaline and absolute mirth. A little ways away, he could hear both his siblings in the same predicament.
After a managing to get himself under control and trying to get his breathing back to normal, he sat up, freezing when he saw the amused audience they suddenly had.
“Umm, guys?” he called out to the other two.
“What?” Danny asked, sitting up as well and freezing as he saw what Duke had seen.
Cass was the last to rise, looking at their audience with as innocent a face as she could manage while clearly a culprit to their exploits.
Bruce simply raised an amused eyebrow, Alfred at his side looking perfectly regal while innocently holding a camera in his hands.
“I see you were having fun on your day off,” he stated, lips threatening to curl into a grin.
The three sibling looked at each other, before Cass reached over and simply offered one of the tiny plastic sleds to the man.
All of them were locked in a staring contest for the next few seconds, before Bruce's face finally broke into a grin and he grabbed the sled.
“Thought you wouldn't ask!” he said, turning and running up the steps, yelling back at them for being slow pokes.
The siblings all grinned at each other before running after the man.
Yeah, having access to unlimited snow was great, but getting to spend time with his family in it? Even better. bonus unrelated snow LBM drawing

Resemblance pls 👀
AH! one of my fave wips >w< kekekekke I'm working out the problems with ages and locations... or if its time travel with it. BUT BASICALLY!!
If Danny 10 Dick be 30 Bruce 46 Jason 25 Tim/steph 23 cass 25 babs 33 Damian 16 Unless time travel which danny could be 14 (Rough calculations.. =w= and it being in bludheaven is the issue kind of) Dick is Danny's bio dad. And mom was actually Catlina Forge (Tarantula) from the rooftop scene. >> the not consensual one. Neither Danny and Dick know this yet though. Dick meets Danny on the streets and after sometime convinces him to come back with him. So Danny and Dick build up this relationship, finding out they like similar things and know each other's secret identity. Danny hell bent on helping Dick because he been doing this vigilante stuff alone. Dick does have Babs searching up Danny, to see what he can do for the kid. Only for them come across the fact he was adopted. Biologically is Dick's.. Bruce is the one to call and tell Dick. (Explaining this first half poorly Imma sorry~) Dick tries to mentally figure out who it could be, almost believing maybe someone stole his dna and made a kid. Supes had that happen- only for a possibility to be stuck in his head. Making him shut down for a few days. AND Now I'll show an excerpt because I wrote some parts of this scene >w<. All can change when I write it but I did write out a few scenes.
“You just puked your guts out, I really don't think-” “I'll be fine, Danny. I can't let a little stomach trouble keep me from protecting people.” Dick kept his back facing Danny. He knew the kid could tell something's bothering him. He just.. couldn't tell him. How could he? Not yet. “Then let me-” “No!” Dick visibly flinched at his own voice, taking a deep breath so he could face Danny. He forced a smile, looking an empty spot beside Danny's head. “Look, Its fine. You patrolled last night. Just stay here, okay? I'll be back at the usual time.” Danny stayed silent, glancing him over, before turning his head to the side in defeat. Dick felt so guilty, but it was pouring.. and he just.. couldn't. Not tonight. He needed to be alone. “Don't get sicker.” the boy muttered. Dick gave a nod, then turned to leave out the window into the dark and rainy night. Praying Danny just stays put as he asked. He didn't want Danny to leave, but it was difficult to be around him right now. If he really was.. Dick felt bile wanting to come up his throat. Shame washing over him, as he grappled to another rooftop, keeping pace. He needed to watch out for crime.. he'll simmer over things later.
Dick perched himself on one of the rooftops, rain pouring down hard around him. It was almost impossible to see. Yet, he watched as his hair stuck to his face, soaked with rain. He should head home. Its been a quiet night, but his mind kept replaying images of that night in his head. His throat swallowed thickly. He felt a figure swoop in beside him. The rain no longer was beating into his back as he noticed familiar cape through the corner of his eye. “What'chu doing all the way out here, B?” “You haven't responded in days.” “Days? That's how long, huh.” Dick knew he should have at least texted them but he didn't want to. Couldn't pull himself to. “Hope you didn't scare Danny or did you use the tracker?” “...Apartment was empty.” Dick's eyes widened as he stood up, returning back into his place in the rain. He searched behind them, furrowing his brows. “Danny. I know you're there.” There was nothing but the rain for a few minutes. “You're not in trouble.” Dick knew the kid was just watching out for him. Still sent a chill up his spine to know he was being watched without knowing it. They heard an audible sigh as Danny revealed himself in his phantom form. He was rubbing his arms and looking at his feet out of guilt of being caught. He floated there a moment, then looked up glancing between Batman and Dick. “Sorry. I know you said.. I just.. I..-i'll just get going.” Before Dick could say anything, Danny flew off back towards the apartment. The word 'wait' uncomfortably stay stuck in his swelling throat as he watched Danny disappear into the dense rain. Dick sighed running his fingers through his hair. He didn't know what to do. Tears pricking his eyes. “Have you told him?” Bruce asked. Dick weakly chuckled, blinking back his tears. His voice breaking as he talked not looking back at the man who raised him. “No.. I ..I couldn't .. I can't If its true then it has to be.. that night..”
“Son.. What did ___ do?” “Oh god, so it is her, Huh?”
Bruce only nodded with a grunt, eyes soft. “Its nothing-” “Dick, you've been shutting yourself in.” “Rich coming from you-” “Please. You don't have to tell me, but at least let us help you. You're not alone, you will never be alone.” “..B.. Dad.. I “ Dick fell face first into Bruce's shoulder and started crying. Bruce embraced his son with his arms, allowing Dick to do the same. Dick gripped tightly at Bruce's cape as he cried. It took him a few minutes before he could gather his voice again. He peaked back at his Father with a sniffle, before finally telling Bruce what had happened all those years ago. --- Stupid. He should have known he overstayed his welcome! Danny knew whatever was bothering Dick... it was about him. He had to leave, tonight. He didn't want to cause Dick anymore distress, besides he probably be better off than to have Danny leeching off of him.
Danny flew straight into the apartment. He didn't have time to change. Just grab his bag and-Danny walked out of the bedroom into the living room, realizing he wasn't the only one there. “So this is Dickie's little side bird?” A guy leaning casually back on the couch with black hair and white stripe. He had a red bat on his chest and a brown jacket. Something was off with him, the white hair didn't seem bleached. At least not by normal method. Danny was sure of it. “You look like you were about to fly the coop.” Said another, black hair boy, he wore a red and black outfit too, but it was more red than black. Danny stood their frozen, as the group stared at him. There was three others who hadn't spoke yet. A girl in black and yellow eyeing him down. A dark skin boy in a yellow suit, and a boy in a red, green, with a black and yellow cape. He looked the closest to his age. They mentioned Dick.. why were they all here in their costumes? I guess it be harder to realize their family. The silence dragged on too long as he heard a cough coming from the dark skinned hero. “I.. I wasn't...” Danny tossed his bag through the door, as he allowed himself to plop his feet onto the ground. “Why are..Who are..” “Big bird doesn't even talk about us!” The black and white haired man mocked as he placed a hand over his heart. “We're Dick's siblings.” “Any reason you all are here.. dressed as...?” “Father thought something terrible had happened to both you and Richard, so we came to investigate. That's when Father found out Richard was on patrol.” The younger of the group spoke, though he sounded quite older. “Oh.. no. We're...” fine wouldn't really be the right word. Danny rubbed his arm awkwardly, “So.. you guys already.. know.. right?” “Yeah, kid. We do.” The man spoke softly. Danny stared at the black and white haired man. His words were sincere as he stared at him. He had died too, that must have been Jason. Danny sighed and decided his escape was post-pone, he might as well get comfy. White rings appeared at his waist then split into two as it washed up and down his form, revealing his human form. “What a costume change, wish my suit was that easy.” Duke whistled, rubbing his eyes. Danny rubbed his arm awkwardly, shuffling in one spot. “This is your home, don't be a stranger. Tim call pizza.” Jason patting empty space between him and Tim. “A game.” The girl spoke with a smile. “Duke, look under the cabinet, I'm sure Dickie got them some where.” “Ac-actually they're in the coffee table.” Danny pointed out as he shuffled to take a sit, feeling uncomfortable being in the middle. He had to play along, maybe they'll lighten up enough and he can go. Before they realize how much pain he's causing their brother.
--- So he hangs out with them for a little while til he just wants to be alone. So he finally took Dick's offer and tells the others he's stealing Dick's bed for the night. He ends up falling asleep in clothes Dick gave him for pjs, with a picture of the Fenton family by his head because he's really missing home.. not feeling like he belongs anywhere despite how warm everyone was.. he just misses being with his family (even if parents shot him lol) plus just feels lonely.
Dick gets back and the batfam informs him that Danny might fly away so Cass n Duke stays after a debate, they stay in the living room.. and so Dick makes his way to bedroom to change. (Dick having given Bruce permission to let the others know since they both figured they would dig until they found out anyways the woes of a detective family) mix feelings still there. Notices the photo by Danny's head and tries to take a peak, only for danny to wake up. Then an awkward talk, Danny offering to move back to the couch but dick telling him to stay there, duke and cass sleeping in the living room. Danny offering the floor but Dick saying he's not going to make danny sleep in the floor. though it is awkward for him to. Talk about Danny's family a bit before Danny goes to get water while dick changes. Only to break a glass because Cass scares him (she noticed that he seemed prepared to just up and fly again. )-- basically its a night of talking and sharing a bed. cass and duke staying til both dick and danny are up to let them talk seriously =w= though they procrastinate on it longer. But their last night talk did make danny not feel like he has to fly away.. =w= b though dick wakes up from a nightmare danny over heard Duke and Cass had breakfast ordered (bruce's gift lol ) but dick woke up from trauma nightmare and so he isn't feeling it. Saying Danny can have his. Danny argues.. but dick's right, Danny can eat both (probably should) So asks if he wants him to get the cereal. )
