Dan is not happy. His limbs are too small, his hands too pudgy and his body too squishy. And his so-called cousins are the same, despite the fact they were all finally going to turn eighteen (again in his case!) literally the next day!

Um, hello strange masked being, back the fuck off! Who are you?! Put him down- actually put all four of them down thank you! Those claws are very big and he’s not worried but seriously, he doesn’t want to deal with this, he wants to go back to how he was! He’s not fucking growing up a third time!

Did you just click at him?! Hell no, he’ll bite you, don’t think he won’t! So what if his powers aren’t working or that he’s now a squishy toddler thing, he’ll still bite your stupid fingers if you make his cousin-siblings scared!

Talon is just bemused at the tiny (even smaller than the ones who usually follow it!) talons that appeared in front of it with no warning. Sure they have strange green eyes instead of yellow but they smell like Talons, have claws like talons and fangs like talons, and even sound like talons! Hm… It has even more hatchlings now! 

Johnny as not being able to accept or react to anything normally.

He accepts things in breathless gasps, cold sweat tracing his spine, wide eyed and gripping his shirt in a frenzy.

He accepts love like a prayer, reverent and beautiful. Yes, yes, yes, let me see. Let me see all of you. Let me know that I am yours and you are mine. He loves with all his heart, gives his liking out scarcely. It eats him from inside out, the way obsession and possessiveness work. It’s a finniky thing, something soap always had trouble with. One day he could be in complete safety, knowing that he is loved, and he will love more. Others, he sobs in despair for all those who will never love again, for the love that he will receive that will never be enough, not enough, and too much. Two sides of his brain thread their fingers through his mind, grab on his hair and yank. It forces him to bear his throat, open and exposed, as if to say see? I will be vulnerable. Bite on me. Bite down. In hopes of the other trusting him enough to sink their canines into tainted blood.

He accepts joy with excitement, as if an addict returning into the safe embrace of its drug. A childish response, he guesses, but anyone would find themselves yearning to be happy as well. The highs are high, and the lows are real low. He knows when to accept joy on its own, pure form, and not think about anything else. It’s something sacred to him, precious and fragile as glass. But he knows no one needs his excitement. No one needs his explosive emotions and no one needs him. That’s okay. Soap has spent his entire life accepting that fact.

In the meantime, Johnny will wrap his hands around himself in a pathetic attempt at self-comfort, and repeats a mantra in his head. Less is more. Less is more. Less is more.

I think this requires a strong fundamental of lighting and shadows, and also face planes? Im not used to drawing without lineart so this is going to be interesting

here's a short gif i made for the process of coloring the crab

im not sure if this is how it works? xD But i basically drew a rough outline of the crab first, making sure the line is really thin, I also opted to use the straight line tool for that 3D look (and also I don't trust my hand to draw straight lines lol) Then I color in the legs, claws and the shell, I basically use a base color first, then alpha lock it to layer the different shade of colors in Lastly I add the shadows and disable the lineart layer and voila

I plan to do a few more fishes when Im free, so expect more of these haha

O BTW i watched the first ep of the dungeon meshi and I RLY LIKE ITTTT ive been meaning to start the manga for yrs but never got around to it TT... trigger seems to be doing rly well w the adaptation tho from what ive heard manga readers say and well just from watching it blind myself i alr rly love it and cant wait to see more...!!!

i just thought about being underneath them and rolling my hips up to them so i take their strap deeper and the sound that they made. an "oh, whoa," and then that growl that came from their throat. how i knew without words that it meant "you're mine". how they froze to see more of it. how they craned their neck to see me taking more of them. they gave it a second and then brought their hand to my hip, followed the curve i was making.

Okay wait so I have a question I need answering. I was scrolling through tumblr and thinking about things, as you do, when I saw something about cutting sandwiches. And, like, of course there’s a proper way to do it. Right? But then it occurred to me that this is probably one of those things that a lot of people are like, uh, no? What are you talking about? Anyway, so instead of contemplating what that might mean for me and possible diagnoses of my mental state I’m just gonna ask:
