I'm also doing a little more characterization for Neon and Argon! They work part time at The Love Shack (that's the underground club Virtue sends Sunrise and Dandy too) as sort of "bouncers, they take passwords to make sure you are meant to go in to make sure there's no breaches. Argon's main colour is cyan, while Neon's main colour is Magenta. Argon is a professional dancer and makes eir living as a dance instructor, and Neon is a graphic designer and mural artist! Argon is much louder and more forward then Neon, Neon is susally the one writing down the names of the people who come in while Argon asks for the password.
The official password for The Love Shack is "Glitterbomb Moonset" BUT when Vrtue sends people (cuz he does sometimes) he gives them the password "Lavender Dreams" so the "bouncers" can tell who is being sent by a normal member of the club or by Virtue.
AAAAA I LOVE THAT!!!
I like how Virtue has been helping out there for a while… knowing Virtue, they probably just kind of showed up one day and started offering help and advice, and Neon and Argon thought something was peculiar (in a pleasant way) about them but didn’t really question it and appreciated the help, but still knew from experience that if he sent someone along, this would be an adventure…

original thief series basso & garrett :)
ngl, it's about quality over quantity for me. an npc can have a total of three minutes of screen time, but if they have a cool name, they can live rent free in my head and I'll spend several hours trying to decipher drawable features from a blurry screenshot of pixels
there is a vague hint of a story here, and that's because every time I try to play thi4f, I get incredibly frustrated with how Not Fun the game play is. like, is the story good? well. but it has a PLAGUE. that should've given it instant 'I'll replay this once a year' status in my heart, but the game play sucks so bad that I've never finished it. I can't believe Not Fun gameplay beat out my obsession with narrative plagues.
anyway, the idea is basically if the original era had a game with a plague centric narrative and some other stuff I liked out of thi4f thrown into a narrative blender, with a heavy dash of horror thrown in because some parts of the thief games were scarier to me than entire dedicated horror genre games.

Ok but you as a Princess and Mammon as your loyal knight guard.
You tease and flirt with him constantly until one night when you ask him to help you out of your dress instead of your hand maiden, he breaks, pushing you back onto your bed.
“What? Is this not what you wanted little Princess? For me to ravage you?” As he pins you down, your face heating up.
But he’s right, it’s all you’ve wanted for so long, so he does. He takes your virtue that was promised to some lord you were to wed. But he doesn’t care, in fact the thought that he was one to take it from you makes him even more excited. He doesn’t care that if anyone finds out he would surely be executed. All he cares about is how you feel around his cock and how in this moment you are his

Everyone mentions the "This is calm and is doctor" bit and I get it, it is iconic lmao but what kept my attention about that bit of the trial was Reid's whole demeanor when not murmuring facts- like the "uh-huh" when asked any yes or no question.....with the most brattish tone a grown man can pull off.
Look at him, he is throwing a tantrum at COURT
I thank god everyday for this guy's stunted emotional development, is the funniest shit.

jake oettinger postgame — SEA vs DAL — 04.13.24
[miro was very noticeable, i don’t know if you guys noticed. but i mean, it just — like, i’ve watched him a lot and this seemed like one of his better games and just seems like it’s a good time to be doing that, for him.] yeah. yeah, definitely noticeable, i mean … you know, the amount of times that, like, you think, um — you know, you're gonna get a two-on-one coming at you, or something — a big scoring chance and then he just makes a great defensive play. i think, uh, you know, that’s what makes him so good, like, ‘cause he could score with anyone, or, like, offensively he’s great, but you know, he’s not … he’s not trying to play forward, like, he’s so — so responsible defensively and just so well rounded. and, you know — really lucky to have him in front of me, that’s for sure. [and i’ll say — that one shift, where he’s up there with i think jamie —] yeah. [in front of the net, and he’s the guy that comes back and breaks up a two-on-one.] yeah, it’s crazy, like, he’s … got that extra — like, extra step that some guys — that i think, only god can give you that, i think, so he, uh, he has that, and he’s special.

I totally agree with the general consensus that Ringo provided a lot of emotional support and coolheadedness to the other beatles to the point where they'd have probably killed each other without him but I do also wonder sometimes how much of that is being supernaturally patient and easygoing and how much of it is Ringo just having a tumultuous and isolated childhood where he was never taught to recognize and assert his own emotional needs so he became a blank slate on which others could process their emotions
(And tbh I also wonder how an inability to access or assert his feelings may have contributed to his tendency to process pain by numbing himself and the pretty shitty way he treated women)
