STG I'll expand on this sometime but I actually do find Raiden's story the scariest of the MGS lot. (Venom's is next-and that tracks because they have similarities)

What MBTI personality do you think Garth has?

Uhhh oh gosh,, making me flashback to college psychology class here... Full disclaimer that I'm not a big fan of MBTI types and thus forgot almost everything I ever learned about it. I needed to go and look all of this up 😔

Garth also just so happens to be a character that lays in the middle of a lot of spectrums, so it's very difficult to reduce him down to a personality test type (as it is with every nuanced person-- which is everyone!)

But I'll do my best for you, anon!

Extroverted: Garth is definitely on the quieter/shyer side, but I don't think he's an introvert. He enjoys being around people and really only seems to self isolate when shit has REALLY hit the fan. As a matter of fact, he's dragged Arthur back into interacting with people plenty of times. I don't think he's a "big groups, big parties" kind of extrovert, but I do think he consistently wants to be around a few close people that he loves and trusts.

INtuition: Realistically, Garth does a little bit of both sensing/intuition, and it really depends on what the situation is for how he'll approach something. But I do feel like Garth is typically pretty good at approaching something with future consequences in mind and drawing conclusions from the information presented rather than rigidly sticking to facts only.

Feeling: Again, Garth is a little bit of both. We've seen him approach things very logically before. But at the same time, I do feel as though he operates more from his feelings than not. He's a great thinker, but his heart is always behind it.

Perceiving: Garth has rarely had much structure or stability in his life and has needed to be continually adaptive to get by. I think he'd love if he got to have more structure (and has sometimes been the one to put it into place where others wouldn't), but at a base-line I don't think Garth requires structure to be okay.

sorry for being so angry tonight. a better world is possible, we have the engineers, the knowledge, and the power to do it. but our world is driven by a greed and hatred unlike any other, one that sucks the soul out of us all.

we can live lives filled with peace, love, and relative comfort but it's been decided for us that we can't. we can uncover the secrets of our world and universe, but we only chose to do so when it's profitable.

there are so many amazing, wonderful, beautiful people on this world. so many vibrant cultures, so much love, so many hopes and dreams. but the west takes it all. capitalism takes more than the world can provide, pushes people into poverty and slavery, all so only a few can play with us all as mere toys and have dick waving competitions.

we're turned against each other, we're told others are savage and inhuman, that they're just a number, just a percentage point. they play god, and as one that is filled with nothing but vengeance and rage. one that only seeks to punish and hoard all that there is, until there isn't anything else anymore. we could've made such a beautiful world for ourselves by this point if a few key things had gone through, but greed and hatred was won time and time again.

my only hope is that we can finally start to push this horrid system into the fire, and we can truly start to set things right. for all its failings, i think the internet has really started to bring us together. i just want people to live and be happy. i want everyone to be able to follow their dreams and feel love. i really hope we can reach that point someday.

guy has planned all 20+ scenes for a story in extensive and painstaking detail bar the very next scene they need to write. guy has drawn a complete blank and has absolutely no idea what to do for this next scene. guy is incapable of writing in anything but chronological order and thus cannot write anything until they write this scene. guy EXPLODES and DIES
