I highly reccomend reading some of the changes in the revised version, as some arcs became very different there, in particular the Brocade Immortal arc and the Fangxin Guoshi arc, with more context added into LQQ and LW's characters in particular (and also more Hualian moments hehe).
As for QR, the changes on the chapters he first appeared on where, instead of HC making them arrive to QR's lair, LQQ was instead convinced by HC to confront QR... Who was near the royal masouleaum, and in this version anyone considered a "traitor" to Xianle ends up being severely weakened there, and this includes LQQ and XL, which made QR able to chain them, beat XL up and force them to fight eachother basically. Other changes on QR in the revised version include:
-QR working with resentful spirits from Xianle instead of human Xianle rebels and trying to haunt/kill LQQ since the beginning, as well as them killing all of the royals, King included (XL hacked their bodies to pieces to prevent ghost shenanigans from happening and that's where the misconception that he's the culprit began in the revised version). XL later sealed QR for a bit after this too.
-Instead of calming down a little after XL ascended (on XL's request), QR was said to become even worse after that in this version.
-Overall more manic. The idea of his obsession having incestuous undertones probably comes from some lines that were added, like "If you keep looking at me like that, I'll say things I shouldn't.", which are accentuated in the audio drama (which is based off the revised version), but I think your interpretation on this is more likely.
-QR was using a decoy in the masouleaum, but after he was beaten by HC, XL and LQQ, he was too weak, so he convinced a suicidal, alcoholic gambling addict to give him his body... And that man was Guzi's father. Viewing Guzi as a burden at first, he ambushed XL after the lantern festival so he could take care of them.
-No inn scene apparently.
The rest didn't change much as far as I'm concerned. This revised version really makes the whole "XL as QR's subconscious father" subtext more evident to me, from QR constantly calling himself his "little brother", pleading XL to stop HC from beating him in the masouleaum (right after he beat up XL no less), to wanting XL to take care of him and Guzi after he got his new body (and while it may just be my interpretation, I really felt like QR was probably envious of LQQ and his bound with XL too, as explained in a previous ask).
Overall MXTX seemed to make him more unlikable, probably to hammer home the "toxic fan/hater" subtext of his character, but she didn't completely remove his more human elements either, so his character arc is thankfully mostly the same.
Hi! Thank you so much for outlining the changes regarding Qi Rong, and if we all agree that Qi Rong is a stand-in for toxic fans, then it's a little...worrying that MXTX depicts him as even more vicious and unlikable than before, because this would probably mean that her views on toxic fans hasn't softened over the years despite the fact that she has left social media for so long, and the damage and hurt they brought upon her probably still hasn't gone away...
I'm assuming people have heard that MXTX returned to JJWXC yesterday, announcing that she won't be working on the 4th novel she originally planned, but she's not retiring from writing either. In the meantime, TGCF has be unlocked on JJWXC and the revisions to the novel have been updated. I will start reading the revised chapters promptly, and share with you guys any thoughts I have :)

He doesn’t need a girlfriend who can't even get the basics right and has some common sense. And he kept his lie up, staying with you because your happiness matters. Seeing you happy about this one-sided relationship was everything.
• One sided was a good term. He didn't know how to break up, but he didn't know how to continue either. You would happily talk about everything, sharing your life with that man. "I painted matching mugs for us."I wrote you a love letter." "Maybe we live together in the future." Meanwhile he gave you a bare minimum and you ate it up like sweet treats that soon enough turns into a bittersweet truth.
• He gave you the dream, to let you live with him when he settles down. He always dreamt of having an own house and a simple life, retiring from his dangerous job and starting to relax. And somehow he invited you to join his dream. He would end things soon enough with you but right now he wanna see the smile on your face while you believed in a future with him, in your shared house.
• Days turned into months and he was feeding you more and more. You became obsessed with his love, with his attention and the way he treats you. Leon got you wrapped around his finger and knew it. He felt sorry that you really like him. That you really believe he will be your soulmate. The lie will soon wear off and the two of you will face the truth. But till then, he would keep giving you the bare minimum just to see you happily be on your knees for him.
• He lost control. Time went by quickly and he was playing this lie for 9 months. He made you believe he has feelings for you till day one, and now multiple months have passed. There you are, facing him with a smile as he was ignoring you for days, trying to distance himself drom you.
• "God I missed you! I was worried when you didn't called me, are you okay?" Leon would only sigh. "Can we talk, Leon?"
• "Would you say we have a serious relationship?"
• No. Leon lied to you for 9 months out of pity, you were so sweet and genuinely nice and there was no way he would break your heart. Each day he looks into the mirror and tells himself: I tell her tomorrow. But tomorrow never came.
• The world greatest actor doesn't need a stage. His relationship was a lie in which he pretended to be something that he wasn't. And you found out the truth, shaken up in denial. Oh he loved your smiling face but he couldn't love you. And yet he felt pain when he saw the betrayal and shock on his face.
• "You lied to me for months Leon? Can I fix it? I can change! I would do anything in an heartbeat."

he and hobie bonded over similar views, became best friends for the last four ish months before Noir quit.

Miguel hates him, probably because Noir rivals him in size and also questions the way Miguel runs things around the spider society.
(Miguel is canonically 6’9 and i hc Noir as around 6’5)
Miguel once asked (very rudely) in front of hobie, if Noir only dated Hobie because he was similar to Robbie. You can only IMAGINE what Noir almost did (aka assassinate Miguel) before he was stopped by most spider people who are loyal to Miguel. Basically, Noir went even more crazy because of that since Miguel uses Robbie as a way to get to him.
Noir in fact didn’t want to date anyone because of some stuff that happened, but when he met Hobie and got to know him, he instantly fell in love.
Miguel simply hates Noir, but can’t fire him or kick him out for no reason so Miguel picks on him until he snaps.
he acts like Peni’s older brother, being protective of her. she became depressed after he quit the spider society because she really cared about him.
most likely smokes, Peni hates it and always takes his cigarette from him to put it out. has dumped water on him multiple times. Hobie also puts out Noirs cigarette when he sees him smoking.
humor is his coping mechanism, example (my interpretation of the scenes):
when miles said his uncle was the prowler, Noir responded with “this is a pretty hardcore origin story” which sounds like he’s trying to make the situation a bit lighter by joking a bit.
as well as when aunt may asked if they could fight doc ock outside, he replied with “We don’t pick the ballroom, we just dance”
another one: when he, peni and ham met gwen, miles and peter for the first time, peter asked noir how they got there and he answered with “it’s a long story” only to say right after “maybe not that long”

Hobie paints Noirs nails from time to time because it seems to relax him.

do u think illumi is bad at cooking ? i have a feeling he would be but im not fully convinced , what are ur thoughts ?
I think that hc is based off of the fact that Illumi as a Zoldyck probably 100% had professional chefs prepare him all 3 meals everyday. And while I definitely agree with that, I also think there is no way the Zoldycks have not taught Illumi survivability skills that included the basics of cooking or making your own food with what you're provided (like chucking em in the zoldyck forest and they just gotta find their own food from there for a month)
How I see it, from the logical pov he doesn't necessarily cook. He knows the basics, but thats about it. BUT if he were given a recipe book, he can replicate the meal down to a T. He can definitely cook textbook perfect recipes if he wanted to.
Whether that counts to "bad at cooking" or not is up to u tbh but im also one of those people that find it very funny if he would just ruin the entire kitchen on one saturday night because he lacked the knowledge of fundamentals like not leaving oil for too long on the stove or having to be careful of cleaning meat to not spread salmonella all over your kitchen. you learn through practice after all and when it comes to standing in an actual kitchen i think he had about none
maybe shit like salmonella wouldnt affect him but.......... poor hisoka lmfao
my general hc for illumi cook is he learned a lot through watching hisoka cook first and foremost and was supervised by hisoka the first few times before he was trusted enough to be set free in the kitchen. I see hisoka having a whole written textbook of recipes he saw and likes to make and illumi uses that as his guide to making whatever he needs in there.
there are still ways for him to mess up even with all these pillars of support but imo that doesnt make him a bad cook yknow? It's like that one meme abt someone asking u to heat up a cup of water and u send them back a photo of a glass cup on the stove. He would just take things too literally but hes a fast learner so im sure after a good year of living with back and forth practice he'd become perfect at proper safe cooking.
TLDR he cooks just not safely and needs very clear proper instructions and guidance and proper practice to truly thrive but that does not make him a bad cook by definition. does that make sense.

As a Grima fan I don't not understand the very massive side of the fanbase from what I can see, that woobifies Grima. Like yes I am on the side that agrees Robin and Grima are the same to an extent; I see them as two consciences in the same body (I know this isn't at all canon however and true canon is Robin is possessed by Grima many things make that clear). But even if you have the hc they are the same one side does very evil and bad things and that's Grima. And yet I see often when seeing Grima posts oh he didn't actually kill anyone he had others do it for him or he was faking being evil the whole time, he feels bad about it all, he cares about Robin actually and no??? He's evil in Awakening. Like that's...his thing that what he existed to do. He was supposed to be a Loptous expy and I never see anyone arguing Loptous isn't actually evil. Having that Echoes backstory makes him different from Loptous now and it's fascinating; now he's FE Mewtwo, but he's very much a large ham of a villain, frankly he reminds me of those over the top 90's Disney villains, Scar, Hades, etc or a comic book villain there's reason for why he's the way he is BUT he loves being a little evil shit manipulating others, murder, hording his power over them, talking down to them; and thrives on it. That Forging Bonds in FEH with Fallen Chrom was the perfect example to show how nasty he was.
NOW if you want to expand on him out of Awakening like in FEH go nuts Zenith is like a pocket where anything can happen and that's what makes it so fun for any character take them away from the things that tie them to their world and you can develop so many characters in creative ways but in the base game? He's the evil world destroying despair dragon, he's not faking anything, he doesn't feel bad about anything in canon; please let him be a horrible angry bitter little person/dragon/creature you don't need to look at Awakening and twist the very basic character he was written as to make him something he's not, it's okay to like the evil dragon because he's terrible, those are generally just fun characters!

Can i give you an excuse to talk more about takuma x kaito? They are just so precious to me. It's one of my favourite digimon pairing ever.
Beloved anon, you have opened the biggest can of worms I even have to open. You know not what you have unleashed. That being said, here’s what we’re gonna do. I’m gonna start with a couple small silly hc’s I have about them, then we’re gonna work our way up to the things I have entirely too much to say about.
Also please know that my genuine reaction to finishing this ask and getting ready to post this was:
The sillies
They get in “I insist” wars sometimes, by which I mean they both always want to be the one to do things for the other. “Likes to take care of people” bf x “self worth based largely on his usefulness” bf. The end result is them just sneakingly doing chores for each other. In Takuma’s case, I like to think it’s bc that’s how his mom shows affection, and he totally gets it from her. With Kaito, it would start out as a “feels like he has to earn Takuma’s love because he doesn’t think he deserves it” thing but eventually turn into a “just really likes making Takuma smile” thing.
They stare at each other a lot. Takuma always does it on accident and usually for one of two reasons. Reason #1: he just likes looking at Kaito. Call him sappy, but he thinks his bf is very handsome and he likes looking at him. Reason #2: he’s trying to gauge what kind of mood Kaito is in before approaching him and completely accidentally stares at him for way too long. At first it creeps Kaito out a little and he’ll ask “the hell’re you looking at me like that for?” Eventually, though, he gets used to it and will pretend he doesn’t notice. Kaito does it on purpose whenever he wants attention but is too embarrassed to ask for it. Literally just glares at Takuma until he notices.
I don’t see either of them as the jealous type, but I do see both of them as the overprotective type. Someone looks at Takuma wrong and Kaito already wants them dead. Takuma gets very defensive if anyone other than Miu or Dracmon insinuates that anything is wrong with Kaito and WILL argue about it.
They’re both the kinda boys to ask “can I kiss you?” change my mind.
Neither of them have ever really done this whole dating thing before. Takuma has had a few girlfriends, but in the very elementary/middle school sense of basically just being friends who hold hands sometimes and get teased by their friends at recess—never in the “I am actually in love with this person” way. Kaito 100% one of those kids who always thought romance was stupid and made fun of other people for caring about it. Probably thought he was so cool for it, too. He didn’t even know he was capable of having a crush until Takuma happened. He’s mildly distressed at first that apparently everyone Takuma has ever liked before him has been a soft spoken, cute girl, but he gets over it eventually.
My dog just sat down directly on my face and I can’t see shit why did I let him onto my bed with me oh my god get him off of me HELP.
There was a time where Takuma was afraid to hug or even really touch Kaito at all in public because he was worried Kaito would hate it. Now he knows he can get away with it and is a menace. #1 hobby: making the bf blush and pout at him.
Takuma texting Miu for advice about what Kaito likes vs. Kaito texting Minoru to ask what Takuma likes. Miu and Minoru hate this but go along with it because unfortunately they love those idiots and want them to be happy. Technically Minoru promised he wouldn’t tell any of their mutual friends about Kaito being a sappy dork, but he never said anything about not telling Kaito’s sister.
Long thoughts
I think I said it before, but now I’m going to elaborate. You know the whole "fell first/fell harder" thing? Well I think Takuma fell first (but didn’t notice) while Kaito fell harder. Takuma knowing Kaito for like five minutes and already deciding he really likes this boy for some reason. They get through part 3 and now he really *really* likes this boy, but he mostly chalks it up to "I'm just happy he's here bc it means we are not all dead." Of course he's gonna kinda admire someone like that and want to get to know them better. And if he starts finding him cute and purposely seeking him out when he's nervous, well, that's just guy stuff.
vs. Kaito who’s stuck with this weird dude who won't stop staring at him and asking too many invasive questions, but he tolerates it because he's gonna need help to protect Miu and also not die. Except the more time goes by, the more this weird dude keeps being really nice to him, which is perhaps the weirdest thing of all. And he even seems to genuinely care about Miu and okay that's new. THEN he starts acting like how Kaito feels about things actually matters, and it kinda feels like a trap, but it isn't. And okay, yeah, maybe having someone pay so much attention to him is Not Terrible. Maybe being honest with someone other than his partner (who kinda has to like him) without being afraid of how they'll react is also Not Terrible. Maybe it's a little confusing why being around someone he trusts would keep making him feel nauseous and like the room is on fire, but maybe, for some weird reason, that's Not Terrible either. Maybe all of those things are even...nice. And if he thinks that perhaps he'd do anything to get this weird, annoying, invasive boy home safely, well, it's not...NOT because he loves him.
ALSO said before but would like to elaborate: I just love the idea of Kaito getting along really well with Takuma’s mom. First adult to not treat him like he’s crazy for getting stressed out over completely reasonable things like “my 11 year old sister is out past sunset and not answering the phone.” It’s kind of a nightmare for Takuma because his mother LOVES to tell the most embarrassing stories about when he was a kid that he was planning on taking to the grave, but it’s also kind of wonderful that his favorite people like each other so much. Plus, if being a little embarrassed is the price he has to pay for hearing Kaito laugh, it’s worth it.
Takuma’s mom to me has big islander mom energy, like she would instantly decide that Kaito is her child now after knowing him for two seconds. One time when Takuma was like 4 he accidentally killed a goldfish and now his mother does not trust him to keep anything alive. That being said, if Kaito gets sick or injured, Takuma’s mom will insist on taking care of him bc she doesn’t think Takuma can do it lol.
They ALSO get in the “I insist” wars tho lol like Kaito will try to help with the dishes and she’ll be like “nonsense, I’m the host, you just make yourself at home” but then Kaito will counter with “if I was at home, I would do the dishes.” It’s a battle of sheer stubbornness that either of them will win on any given day.
…Takuma reading that people tend to look for partners that are similar to their parents and at first going “pff yeah right” but then seeing that happen and going “oh no.”
And for my last thing I could talk a lot about…I dunno if I’ve ever just talked about why I ship it.
First and foremost, and I just really love their friendship. I mean, yeah, like everyone else who’s played this game, of COURSE I noticed that Kaito is constantly blushing while talking to Takuma, but that’s not really why I like seeing them together. I like how quickly Takuma catches on to the fact that Kaito’s a lot nicer than he pretends to be. I like how he notices that Kaito is a perfectly calm and rational person when it comes to anything NOT involving Miu. I like how happy it makes Dracmon that someone understands his partner so well. I like that the correct dialogue option for Kaito is pretty much always just to be straightforward and honest with him. I feel like it sets up a really lovely dynamic between the two of them where Takuma knows he can always be honest with Kaito, and Kaito can trust Takuma enough to take what he says at face value. Especially love it in the scene where Takuma is nervous, and if you pick the option to hide it, Kaito will get annoyed at him for wasting time standing around talking; but if you pick the option to tell the truth, Kaito will soften up and try to help him. I like how patient Takuma is with Kaito and how he never snaps at him even when Kaito’s being a little unreasonable or isn’t articulating what he actually means very well. I like how, for all his trust issues, Kaito straight up tells Takuma that he thinks of him as the group’s leader and depends on him. I think Takuma’s comment that hearing that makes him happy is super cute. Kaito insisting Takuma is wrong when he’s accused of secretly wanting to protect everyone, not just Miu, in early game vs him finally admitting it to Takuma late in the game. They’re just so comfortable with each other in a way that I find very endearing. Especially knowing everything Kaito’s been through, it makes me so happy that there’s someone he trusts so much and who is genuinely unconditionally kind to him. They’re so supportive of each other, and I am fully willing to believe that they really do love each other as friends.
THEN getting into the shippy parts. Still not emotionally over Takuma literally thinking that Kaito is cute. Still never letting go of him purposely complimenting Kaito for no reason just to see him flustered. Never letting them live down talking about how good friends they are and then REVERSE no-homoing the moment by explicitly saying they DON’T think of each other like brothers. What the hell WAS that? WHAT THE HELL WAS UP WITH KAITO FREAKING TF OUT WHEN TAKUMA SAID HE WAS HAPPY THEY MET ONLY TO CALM DOWN AND THEN GENTLY SMILE AND SAY “I guess it ain’t so bad if you’re the one saying it…Maybe.” WHAT DID HE MEAN BY THAT? I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE. WHAT WAS UP WITH MIU’S REACTION TO KAITO STRAIGHT UP TRYNA TO MURDER TAKUMA THAT ONE TIME? GOING “AWWWW” AND SAYING IT LOOKS LIKE KAITO WANTS TO SPEND TIME WITH TAKUMA INSTEAD OF BEING LIKE “BRO CALM TF DOWN.” PERSON WHO KNOWS HIM BEST IN THE WORLD SAYING THEY GET ALONG WELL AND IT LOOKS LIKE LAKFDJADFKJA;DLKFJALDKJA. The way Takuma looks and sounds so excited to see Kaito again in part 3 is literally the reason I accused him of falling first like he did not have to be THAT happy. PLUS THAT TIME IN PART 4 WHERE HE STARES AT KAITO’S FACE FOR SO LONG THAT KAITO NOTICES LMAO? GAYASS. His stupid little ^_^ after Kaito gets embarrassed in that scene too jfc you are NOT beating the allegations, Takuma. And okay time to circle back around to the blushy thing. If it was JUST the occasional .////. I wouldn’t read too deep into it because he literally also makes that face when Dracmon and Miu are nice to him, so I think Kaito just legitimately doesn’t know how to respond to affection. But it is CONSTANT and ALSO I think it’s sus that Dracmon always points it out. Like his partner KNOWS he’s gay panicking and is purposely drawing attention to it as a way of getting Takuma to notice that “hey this loser REALLY likes you.” I mean seriously WHY else go out of the way to point it out every single time. Also the stuttering. Why are you, as a serious, no nonsense, tough guy, stuttering so much when a cute boy is nice to you? You thought we wouldn’t notice, but we did.
They're honestly the most disgustingly fluffy corny schoolgirl-with-a-crush type ship I've ever shipped. I hate them so much.
Just,,,gay boy in a small town where he can't be himself falling for a boy who is so very kind to him. Not expecting to ever be loved back bc people never like him, much less love him. Trying to hide his affection so he doesn't get hurt, but always wearing his heart on his sleeve no matter how much he tries to pretend he isn't. Somehow against all perceived odds actually in fact being loved back. Struggling to comprehend that someone not only loves him, not only wants him, but even enjoys taking care of him without expecting anything back.

A/N: Okay so I really love Price and I apologize for the on base hc being so short compared to the others lol.
On base:
- There won't be a *lot* of PDA, but he doesn’t mind giving you a quick peck on the lips before missions (he jokes about it being for good luck!)
- Would tell everyone that you're dating him, I’d imagine that he takes a lot of pride in dating you and loves getting to talk about you.
- Wakes you up with him, he doesn't care if you get out of bed when he does but he wants to be able to tell you he loves you before he leaves your room :3

- Doesn't like to wake up early ;; he loves just getting to stay in bed with you sharing each other's warmth.
- Loves having days dedicated for dates!!! the whole day will basically just be you two going to museums or maybe even a coffee shop and then to the park for a couple hours. It doesn't matter what ya'll do as long as he gets to spend time with you.
- He doesn't like to argue with you when you're both off, if ya'll do get into an argument and he makes you upset then you can expect a very sweet apology with a bouquet of flowers.
General:
- SUCH a sweetheart, he loves you and wants nothing more than to make you happy.
- He's an older guy and he's aware that people will probably give you two looks (if you’re much younger in age than him) but he won’t let it get to him, if it does bother you then he’ll try to show you that it doesn’t matter as long as you’re both happy.
- Always willing to listen to you talk about things you like even if it's something he doesn't understand.
- LOVES buying you jewelry because he loves seeing you wear a ring or necklace often and being able to tell that it is one, he bought for you.

What if Starscream kidnapped the autobot human reader (to trade them in exchange for a t cog after mech stole his) but ended up enjoying their company and didn’t actually arrange the exchange
I just did some HCs for you, since that seemed like the simplest option, also since this spans a longer period of time, they're easier to write. I couldn’t exactly figure out how Screamer would be able to kidnap the reader, so I just didn’t really mention it. I know I said I probably wasn’t gonna post much this week, but I happened to get some time while the food is in the oven
•Starscream was quite desperate when he decided to resort to kidnapping you from the autobots
•He didn’t see any other choice though, since he couldn’t stand to live without his alt mode
•He loves flying and he absolutely hates it when he’s confined to the ground
•It was a bit of struggle to grab you while trying to stay hidden from humans, but he managed it by some miracle
•Anyway, since you’ve been around the bots for quite a while now, you’ve hear a lot of stories from the autobots about how horrible the decepticons are
•But when Starscream took you, you noticed he was actually kind of miserable and pretty pathetic
•You were scared at first of course, but when he brought you to the cave he was staying in, you actually felt kind of bad for him
•When you expressed this to him, he wasn’t very happy, because “I am the mighty Starscream, servant to no one and free” or something like that, and he definitely isn’t used to people pitying him
•This ended up with him threatening your life of course, but you’re not really scared of him anymore, because you’re just getting this pathetic, wet cat vibe from him
•After a few hours of him just basically sulking and you sitting on a rock, you asked if he was really going to keep you there
•You started explaining about how you need food, water and you were probably going to freeze to death if he decided to keep you there overnight, you decided not to mention the whole bathroom thing though, because you figured the threat of you dying on him accidentally was enough
•Starscream hadn’t really thought about that to be honest, he knows very little about humans but he had honestly figured you could probably go without food and water and such for a few days no problem
•You educate him a bit on the subject and he’s like “oh?”
•He asks you about some other earth/human stuff too and you tell him to the best of you knowledge
•He actually finds himself enjoying the conversation quite a bit, and it’s nice to talk to someone without having to be scared all the time, and just have a casual conversation
•He wants the t-cog, but he’s also come to the conclusion he doesn’t want you to die on him or suffer because of what he wants
•At the end of the day, he lets you go and walks you as close to town as he can without being seen
•You view Starscream in a different light now, he has done terrible things, there’s no denying that, but he’s pretty lonely and miserable and you feel a bit bad for him
•You leave him with your phone number so he can contact you if he wants someone to talk to again
•He of course scoffs: “Why would I ever need help from a human?”
•You just sigh and just tell him to take the piece of paper, and just shove it towards him
•He takes it, acting like he couldn’t care less, but he’s actually quite happy about it
•The minute you get home, you call the base and tell the autobots you’re okay
•They’d been in a frenzy the whole day, trying to find you, but you decide to just tell Ratchet your phone was off and you’d been busy so there was nothing to worry about

hohoho I've been planning to answer this a bit later but it's kanato's birthday so might as well 😉 oh btw I don't think fluff headcanons would cut it so might as well add a whole lot of things for his modern college au version

modern boy living in an art of dolls, life, murder series, and desserts
kanato is actually taking up forensic mortuary science (basically everything about embalming funeral and reason behind death sht) bcos even in an au where he lives and breathes as a human, he still has his fascination with death and such so might as well throw them all out in this kind of course
he actually thought of dermatology or being a surgeon at some point bcos he'll get a license to cut somebody open but yeah his average grades won't let him make it
besides he can work in crime scenes and hunt criminals like in those murder crime documentaries he binge watches 24/7
while kanato enjoys studying under this course, he actually has average-ish grades just bcos karl annoys the sht out of him and he only does well in practical exams (so yeah if you give him a test paper, he'll most likely get a C or D; at least it's not an F)
he also takes up like two business classes on the side bcos karl demanded all his sons know something abt business management (ya know in case ayato decided to rebel against him and not become the heir)
he only had like 3 or 4 ex-girlfriends and they're either studying philosophy or english studies; and fun fact: these girls study in the same building as him
another fact: yui was shocked bcos she has no idea she's been in the same class with all kanato's ex-gfs all along 😭😭😭
but he had one ex who goes to the same class as laito's
you might think he'll date someone from his own class but actually, the forensic mortuary science course only has one class and there's only like 10 to 15 students (most of them being male); and since this purple gremlin right here is so introverted, he will never date someone who's obviously from the same circle 'cause he will always pick someone who won't draw that much attention

the triplets are all famous in the ryoutei university for being the it boys??? since ayato is the cute varsity player (I based this on the fact that Japanese fandom said he's babyface), laito was the casanova, and kanato was the "cutie goth kid"
ofc all the triplets are models, especially laito and ayato. but kanato was the only hand model out of them like yeah sure they've used his face and all for gothic photoshoots but what caught their eyes is his hands so yeah he's been careful not to get them injured or anything
another thing: boy wasn't allowed to carry teddy around school (bcos karl)
he actually tried smoking once bcos he saw laito and subaru doing it, only for him to cringe at the taste. laito mockingly laughed at him with kanato saluting him with a middle finger
his room is actually a purple harajuku pastel paradise like everything's lit with purple LED lights and filled with stuffed toys. also has his own mini fridge for his snacks and other things. his room is basically his own man cave.
his fashion sense is a mix of modern punk rock with a bit of goth. he also wears piercings for fun (but not too often). you can refer to his official super best art for more details
he wears piercings bcos of brotherly pressure (like once upon a time ayato and laito thought kanato must get piercings like then and they ended up injuring his ear)
now onto the fluff hcs that the anon asked
kanato as a boyfriend in the modern college au has no yandere tendencies so yeah we should be grateful
however, purple gremlin's so filled with jealousy and sassiness you'll think you're dating a brat
but he's not like caging his s/o or anything or demanding them to text him every second; he just doesn't like her being so friendly with other people
like too friendly with people (given by his own introverted tendencies)
would always ask his s/o to hang out with him after school like netflix and chill or chilling in the park laying on the grass and admiring the flowers
would even go to a stuffed toy shop with her or invite her for dinner at a desserts cafe

although kanato works with a lot of formaldehyde and other chemicals in his course, he actually keeps himself clean like he makes sure to change his clothes and spray on his sweet perfume so his s/o won't sniff chemicals that could harm her health
when it comes to arguments, kanato might look like a tough nut, but he's nothing but a soft cookie
he would say he doesn't care but he is sobbing as fvck and dying on the inside
he's like "how dare she? why won't she just make it up to me?!"

Heyo thought I’d drop some random tf2 hcs and stuff cause of ur post :D
- scout and Pyro get along really well and scout will draw for pyro. Scout likes them cause he seems to actually listen to scout talk
- Engineer is pretty oblivious when it comes to people having feelings for him and hes (kinda accidentally) decent at flirting tho
- Engineer is like a father figure to scout and it makes spy really jealous lol
- Demo is really good at karaoke
- Since spy is good at finding this out about people based on body language etc. he knows exactly who has crushes on who in the base and he thinks it’s SO OBVIOUS but it’s not to the rest of them and he’s really close to just screaming at everyone that they’re blind and to just kiss already. He’s just forced to watch all these pining idiots dance around each other and he hates it
- Heavy and Medic have a book club that is just the two of them
- Scout would be a good dad later in life if he had a kid

-scout and pyro friendship truther until I DIE. I find the idea of scout going from being terrified of this weird “thing” to just being besties with Pyro kind of hilarious. I think they can both do art pretty well actually! I like to think they run around towns and do graffiti together.

I also think it helps that (to me) hes naturally very friendly and polite because of how he was raised and like half of the people on his team havent heard anything nice from another human being since they were actual children (if that.) Is he good at flirting or are your standards dangerously low? Is it both? Great question!
-Ive always seen engineer as more of a low-maintenance uncle figure to scout If That. They’re just kind of a pretty standard close older dude with a lot of life experience and younger dude with fuck all going on friendship to me. and tbh ive never. Really been able to get behind the idea of spy being “jealous” of any sort of relationship Scout has with other mercs. Whether it’s him being weirded out by father standins or judgemental of potential partners. I don’t think he doesn’t have a weird relationship with seeing scout bond with the other mercs but i feel like it’s just sort of. Idk. A little more of a unique issue for him.
-Accepted. Though i think “good” for him ranges from “genuinely good singing” to “loud, overconfident, and having a great time getting half of the lyrics wrong.”
-As much as I think it would be fun if spy was surprisingly emotionally dense, i cant deny his canonical skills in that sort of field. That’s like. His whole game. I think his approach to trying to help anyone with romance is “he wont unless youre prepared to basically just inflate his ego for the sake of a few tips.” A la expiration date.
-no doubt in my mind that heavy and medic dont agree with a single thing that the other gleams from reading books. Said with love. They will argue about meanings and subtext and the value of interpretation until it sounds like someone’s about to file for divorce and then end with “so same time next week ^_^?”
-I will be so honest with you. I do not know if i could ever see scout being a father, much less a good one NDGSKHJDKNJJ.
Actually . Hm. Thinking about it. I could. SEE it in a sense. I think he would have some good steps to go off of because of his Mom. Unsure of how good his ma’s parenting was but she at least was very caring toward her kids. He’d have that. But i think he’d have to be a lot more emotionally mature to be able to process how his own current issues with dads and fatherhood would healthily translate into being a dad himself. I could see him being really laid back and maybe a little too “im not just your parent, im your friend,” and any hypothetical kid he has would Not take his ass seriously. I think having to parent a teenager would kill him.

Ben
He has a peanut allergy, idk why, it's the vibes
Until he met Bev his wardrobe consisted of nerdy t-shirts with awful puns. You know what I'm talking about.
Secretly loves Twilight (him and Richie watch it together)
His favorite drink is lemonade, iykyk
Keeps fish! Like really big aquarium set ups and he actually designs some of the decor. Can't keep any aquarium plants alive tho
Mike
loves the smell of cashmere and just collects candles in general
I've mentioned picnics with him before (the ones he takes with Bev and Eddie) but he also likes to make little finger sandwiches and wears fancy sun hats on said picnics
hates the taste of olives, my man is anti olives
bringing this up again, but he had a stuff tigger as a kid and when he's an adult he keeps it in a shadow box
also he's a bit of a technophobe, he had a flip phone until the Losers literally made him upgrade, it was difficult for group texts
Eddie
red shorts this, red shorts that, consider him wearing overalls! He has a whole collection for every kind of weather and they're adorble
not much of a gamer but went through a really intense minecraft stage, the other losers refused to play with him
he loves traveling. Sonia never allowed him to go anywhere so as an adult he goes everywhere. Constantly taking trips and planning the next place to explore. Also he tries to travel with the Losers if they're going somewhere for work. Richie to L.A., Bill to London, Bev to Italy for fashion shows

he's really into fancy coffee. Has an espresso machine in the kitchen and tries to make little designs in the foam and is constantly watching aesthetic coffee videos
Richie
pretends to like horror movies but is actually baby, he covers his eyes the whole time
He owned a ferret, his name was Todd. Eddie and Stan pretended to hate it but the creature grew on them
allergic to cats, cue the ferret, his skin will break out in hives if he's near one, but he doesn't care. He will pet that cat and the others Losers have to stop him
LOVES Futurama, he has a tattoo of Bender on his ass
Actually enjoys doing yard work. His mind is constantly going but when he's doing yard work, running the weed wacker or the lawn mowers, he can't hear himself think. Or if he's raking leaves or cutting bushes, his mind is too zeroed in on his task. It's strangely therapeutic for him
Bill
constantly has ink on his hands, from drawing or his typewriter, it's always there
had adult braces, IK I've said this before but I'm very passionate about 20 year old something Bill with a full set of braces. Yes I had adult braces too, why do you ask?
Sticks his tongue out when he's really focused on something and gets a wrinkle between his brows
he is dumbest smart person you will ever meet. He is an idiot. Everyone thinks he's supposed to be smart bc he's a best selling author but no, this man will try to pry something open with a knife with his face too close to said knife. He has no self preservation instincts, it's only bc of the Losers he's made it this far
has a weird obsession with Cherry Coke
Bev
again, i've said this before, but Bev always wanted a pet and she can't give the emotional care a cat, dog, rat, ect needs so she keeps reptiles. They're really cool and besides their basic care, they don't need anything else from Bev, they're perfectly content to be watched by her on the other side of the tank
speaking of that, her favorite reptile are geckos and she's actually based a couple her designs on their patterns
went through a phase where all she did was play the Sims. She was obsessed. The losers would go to bed while she was playing and wake up and she was still playing it. Yes this overlapped with Eddie's minecraft phase.
believes in Bigfoot. Like for real.
complete roller coaster fanatic, loves going to amusement parks to ride the most extreme roller coasters
Stan
has a deep passion for the Law & Order shows, they're his guilty pleasures
had a mental breakdown in his twenties and dyed his hair blue. The others losers where surprised and yes Stan regretted it. It was Impossible to get out and he basically just had to grow it out
believe it or not he is a horrible driver. He insists he's a great driver but the other losers refuse to ride with him. He doesn't get it. It's not like he's hit multiple curbs and gets massive road rage
he is constantly cold, over half the sweaters in the house belong to him and he's always under the blanket when watching tv. His cuddles are rare but during winter with no hesitation he will snuggle up under the human space heaters (Richie, Ben, and Mike)
he gardens! Has a rose garden out front with a bird bath and feeder. hates dirt though so when he's out there he has gloves and a little garden apron on

A good is-Tom-Normal-About-That-Media? meter is how I deal with music related to that specific media. Unfortunately in OFMD's case it's ticking in the "Brain Rotted Pile of Clown Meat" zone, because I basically went through every song ever made by Nina Simone just to try and guess which two songs are playing in s2.
So you know what??? I'm laying out my predictions here, if any of these starts playing then I'm owed a Jenkins thumbs up or something like that. Idk. I spent four hours of my life on this, I need a hug. I threw the dice and this is what came out.

A bit overplayed, basically in every fandom playlist but It! Is! There! For! A! Reason! And that reason is that it's reeeally good and very villain like. Could be Ed-Coded, I'd like to imagine that's him trying to conform into his Kraken/Blackbeard persona, could be other people too though. Use your imagination here.

Overplayed one again, this one isn't really coded to any of them. But I feel like it would play after Stede tries to reconcile with Ed for the first time and fails miserably. Ed is still really hurt, and Stede is just realizing the extent to which he hurt him. It's after they just had a discussion, maybe it's raining, Stede is soaking wet calling "Yd! Yd! Yd please talk to me!" But Ed just keeps on walking. It's a romantic comedy staple and we need to have one of these.
Take Care Of Business
Semi-Competent!Stede being the breadwinner of the family is one of my favourite hcs. Ed is really tired of The Pirate Life™️ and I bet he'd fucking love to be a trophy wife, man spent his whole life being the scourge of the seven seas, give him a break for christs sake.

do you have any Chance headcanons? Bro deserved better.
I do actually! thank you so much for asking (he really did deserve better :'(
Chance is one of the oldest Khans who was born into being a Great Khan, rather than being a remnant from the New Khans. His mom was effectively winging it his entire childhood and he maybe grew up a little too fast as a result. Jessup is his younger brother by about 10 years and Jessup has always absolutely adored Chance, basically never left his side from the age he could walk.
Before Bitter Springs Chance was part of the Khans who cleared routes ahead of the rest, helping the movement of their home base go a little smoother. A lot of Chance's side of the work was Physically moving things out the way, like clearing debris from roads that were intact enough for Khan wheels which could be anything from big rocks (on post war roads) to prewar cars (on prewar roads)
He's always had his long blond hair but it used to be neatly plaited before Bitter Springs, nowadays he doesn't really have the mental energy to even wash his hair, and barely lets Jessup do that
Bitter Springs took a huge toll on Chance's mental health. I hc that he was one of the Khans trying to make sure that the evacuation path was safe when he got cut down and spent the remainder of the fight being mistaken for a body while he drifted in and out of consciousness. He woke up surrounded by a lot of fire and bodies and never spoke a word since. He feels guilty for not being able to tell anyone the path wasn't safe before it was too late and has what he saw burned into his mind. my man needs therapy so bad
While I do like and enjoy all the "Chance uses sign language" headcanons I personally believe that he's very despondent and withdrawn due to his PTSD and rarely makes attempts to communicate. Jessup is effectively Chance's carer and makes sure that he's fed and drinking enough water and is physically clean etc. and he's the best guy who knows what Chance is trying to say and is very protective of him. Side thing but Jessup is actually a very caring and compassionate guy he just has a very brash tough guy attitude.
The Khans aren't very good with mental health as a whole (they can't really even deal with Papa's depression) not for lack of care they're just not in a good place atm. I think if he got the help he needed he would start to communicate more but it'd take a long time to get there. I think he'd maybe start with signing and writing things before trying to use his voice again
I also think Chance same height as Legate Lanius but a lot bulkier. I know he's got washboard abs in all roads but Everyone does in that comic I hc him to be fat!! I think he's stronger than Lanius but Lanius is faster, but that speed doesn't count for much when your weapon is 15x bigger and heavier LMAO Lanius would get destroyed by Chance Chance would beat him to death with his own mask
More Chance stuff
He is a clean 7 feet tall, Jessup is 6'2" and everyone thinks he's short he's not he just looks tiny next to Chance
I also hc him to have brown eyes and freckles like Jessup
I don't like the necklace he has in all roads because the thors hammer symbol often gets associated with like. na//zis. so I often redraw it as a key or coin. I don't think the artists meant anything by it honestly they were probably just associating Chance with the god of thunder because of his size and strength but personally i'd like to stay far away from it especially considering canon Chance has blond hair and blue eyes. anyway
My man likes a good steak, he and his mom used to compete for who could make the best meat rub. He's not a fan of sweets
The heaviest thing he's lifted was the front end of an NCR truck with the driver still inside. That driver had nightmares for weeks
Like Regis, Chance is one of the Khans who the NCR and others who arent Khans tend to recognise but never actually speak to. I think even before he stopped talking people just kinda gave him a nickname because he was just So recognisable. The NCR probably had their own codename for him over the radio.
