Erza is the main visitor and is always seen with her sisters. They have a really nice training room where you can almost always find Erza and Kagura

Araña is really fond of the Mirajane and the two have become good friends. Mira always stops by when she's in town

Lisanna makes quick friends with Beth and Millianna when Mira stops by for visits. The girls get super giggly together and stress out Kagura

Bisca can also be seen at Mermaid Heel often. Turns out her and Risley have been friends for years

Asuka, of course, is invited too and is always surrounded by cooing Mermaid Heel members

Evergreen adores the Mermaid Heel guild calling it the most beautiful guild she's ever been in. She would've joined them if it hadn't been for the rest of the Raijinshuu

Carla and Wendy hangout with Beth a lot. Well, Carla tries but ends up getting kidnapped by Millianna pretty quickly

Lucy's book is in the Mermaid Heel library. They've all read it! (their library only has female authors in it)

Laki did join the Mermaid Heel guild after Fairy Tail disbanded

I don't know if you have Netflix or not, but they recently put a show on there called Resident Alien starring Alan Tudyk and I highly recommend it. If you've ever seen 3rd Rock from the Sun, this is kind of like that but more sinister but equally as funny.

I have built a little shrine around my OP DVDs and it's too small to hold all of these future purchases, so I'm trying to figure out where to put them all. In the meantime, when the non-pre-ordered figures come in, I'll share a photo of the shrine. I don't know why I have a hankering for Shanks recently but now Gildarts from Fairy Tail has suck up on me. I do like Marco and I want at least 1 Sabo figure because I like having Luffy's most important people (Zoro, Shanks, and his two bothers).

I don't really know what else to distract you with, um, I had an idea for a One Piece/Fairy Tail crossover one-shot. For some reason, yesterday at dinner this idea popped into my head and had me grinning like an idiot which alarmed my dad. What if, the FT peeps ended up in the OP world for reasons not important to the story so I won't ever have to get into it, and Cana decided now would be a good time to try setting her dad up on a date. Dude has been single her entire life (with a string of unsuccessful short flings that never amounted to anything [the wiki says he was with 13 other women post-divorce]) and she decides to set him up with somebody.

Now, this could go two ways. I could have this be a canon character x canon character or OC which would be the hard way and not nearly as funny as I want it to be OR I could make it canon character x reader thus allowing for the shenanigans. I was thinking of having the one-shot be Gildarts x Reader with him having already met someone and begun dating her but keeping it quiet because he didn't know how Cana would react. Then, when Cana announces how she thinks he should meet someone and kind of sidelines him, Reader plays along because she has to keep up the ruse of them not dating. So the READER sets Gildarts up on a date with a hot, young doctor lady.

And I just thought it'd be hilarious to do that to Gildarts.

The only other idea I have of a simple crossover would be Gildarts and Shanks meeting and upon realizing they kind of look similar, the two hang out in the bar and start comparing how similar they are to each other and then it becomes a contest of who is cooler. Shanks thinking he's so cool because he's maintained his power as an Emperor of the sea despite having only one arm, and how he lost that arm is both cool and inspiring. Then Gildarts dishes it back about how he lost half his body (and an unspecified organ) and is the only person to survive the creature who did it in single combat. Et cetera and so forth. It could be hilarious and also be a fun way to actually show how similar they are without being boring.

Alright, this time I'm sure I've run out of distracting things but if I come up with more I'll be sure to send them in to you. Sorry about your evening burning out.

I need to watch more Fairy Tail so I actually meet this Gildarts - I've seen the art of him so I know the similarity is there =3 But every time I get into FT I end up stopping just after the Lightning Church arc with the guild master's grandson.

Not for lack of interest, but something always seems to come along and pull my attention before I get any further.

Last time it was One Piece >.>

I like the set up for the story idea - the best part about stories that we sometimes forget is that they don't have to explain everything. You're allowed to leave loose threads or things unresolved.

I'm in awe of the your figurine collection. I keep holding myself back, because I don't really have room for one, but also because I can get carried away to a bad degree with collecting things. But I do enjoy seeing a lot of the One Piece figures, so I'm patiently awaiting any pics you're willing to share once more of your order comes in =3

WOW FAIRY TAIL. seeing them brought back sooooo many memories of middle school me hgehasf ANYWAY what do you think about the Strauss siblings??

The most siblings of all time my god!!!! I love them so much can do no wrong my three baby children!!

I try not to be too biased but my god. Elfman is everything one could ever want in a character. He sets the standard for Fairy Tail guys. He's big. He's Dumb. He's full of love. The perfect himbo of a guy.

Baby Elfman specifically is my everything he is just a Littol Guy I am pinching his cheeks and pulling them till he cries he's so cute in him little bow tie baby smile absolute perfect child hold him gently and brush his hair.

Elfman to me is Bi with a preference to men. There's a filler episode where Juvia is asking everyone what they want most as a gift no matter what and I know his whole bit is Manly but the fact that his answer with minimal hesitation is "A man" is so not Straight. But also his entire thing with Evergreen actually matters to me so much you do not understand.

Headcanon that Elfman is positively terrified of his own strength, he doesn't like being big and buff as much as he acts like he does. He likes feeling like he could protect people, sure, but in his mind he's just as likely to hurt them as well. When he gets older and his life calms down as the need to take jobs to pay rent lessens I think he'd eventually stop working out and fall comfortably into a pudgier shape, more like he was when he was little. Dad bod Elfman. Bear Elfman. Consider it.

Mirajane is probably, objectively, the best character in this show, Hands down. She's the only female character treated with any respect in a fight, she is smart, she is sweet, she is cute, she can kick your ass, she's very easily the second strongest wizard in the guild tailing Gildarts by only the littlest bit. She's held back by the trauma of loosing half her family not once but twice, she healed, and still chooses not to fight as she just lost the taste for it.

She's one of few characters who uses her head, she thinks, she holds the guild braincell and my god has she had to bear it for so long. The wiki says she's 19 and I fucking disagree. This is THE woman of all time. She uses her power as The Only One Who Thinks to mess with people and my god she's so fucking funny I'm sorry but this woman's gags are hysterical and when everyone else is getting into bullshit and she just plays into it and encourages them I genuinely laugh every time.

To me she has a lot of Aro vibes, happy with friends and family. If she were to get into a romantic relationship I think it'd be with another woman, I just can't see her with a guy?? She was born to live the Aunt life though, so when Elfman finally settles down and adopts the dad bod she is going to be all over his kids all the time.

Lisanna I have a bit of a harder time with. I wasn't really expecting to ever really know her, ya know? She was dead, it was a big deal, a big stain in the backstory of everyone in the Guild at the time. I thought she'd be someone who's death rung across the rest of the narrative, not a sort of love interest to get between Natsu and Lucy (which she doesn't really do either?)

She doesn't have a lot of plot relevance. Where I am right now she has yet to take a fight on her own, and as far as I can remember all the fights she has been in she's lost. Everyone counts her out really fast, keeps her out of harms way, kinda... treats her like a baby. And then outside of fights she doesn't do much either? I have a hard time finding her in character shots around the guild or placing her in any casual situations. So not only is she no longer the trauma the Guild bears, she's also still not really present despite being alive.

I like her, trust me! I think she's cute, the way Laxus reacted to her on Tenro island is positively adorable and makes me laugh every time, I like Elfman having another sister to bully him around in my stead, I'm glad Mira had the chance to heal she always needed and the sister she loved back.

I just think, personally, she was better as a point in history the characters grieved than as a character rarely used.

Also she's Straight and Transgender I make the rules this is my house.

Okay! Could I see hcs for Erza, Lucy and Mirajane with an adopted child that is heavily implied to have had a very sad and painful past? The child is extremely quiet, timid and fearful and is very prone to nightmares and crying. Thank you in advance!

I haven’t seen Fairy Tail since like 2018, so bear with me cause I’m a little rusty!

Erza Scarlet:

So Erza initially does not want a kid. And that’s perfectly fine! Not everyone wants children.

But the child she rescues reminds her a lot of herself, so she decides to take the child in and nurture the said child until she doesn’t need her anymore.

But she doesn’t realize how hard it is to take care of a child, so she’s kind of thrown into the deep end.

At first, Erza has no clue how to take care of a kid. It’s like that one meme, “Want a beer?” “HE’S FOUR” “IDK, what am I supposed to do with it?!”

It’s like that but with cake instead of beer, lmao.

So she asks Makarov and Mirajane for help!

They help her figure out a balanced diet for the little girl and gift her parenting books for the next little while until she figures out what the heck is going on.

It also takes her some time to get used to the timidness and fearfulness.

Erza is very sure of herself and confident (most of the time), and strict, so when the child starts crying or doesn’t do something because it’s scary, it takes a minute for Erza to adjust.

When the nightmares and crying start, Erza becomes a lot more understanding.

In her wiki, she describes herself as “someone who is always crying.” and has had a traumatic past herself, so she gets it.

Crying?

She’s there with cake and tissues and a fun story to help stop the crying after asking what’s wrong and help fix the issue.

Nightmares?

Erza threatens to fight the monsters to make the child laugh and comfort her with many cuddles in blanket forts.

Speaking of blanket forts.

Erza is a master at them! Like has fairy lights strung up on the inside, multiple rooms, she’s the best at blanket forts, and no one can tell me otherwise.

She offers to sleep on the floor of the child’s room when the nightmares get worse. So for the next little while, Erza sleeps on the floor while the nightmares are ongoing.

Overall, this girl has absolutely no idea what’s happening, but she tries her best and becomes super close with the child!

Lucy Heartfilia:

(This ended up with some Nalu included, whoops)

When Lucy first comes into contact with the little child, it’s after a mission to rescue hostages from monsters.

The child is the only one without a family to go home to, so Lucy adopts them!

(She has no clue what she’s getting into, lol)

Initially, it’s fine—the honeymoon stage. But then Lucy realizes the child behaves out of fear of getting sent away.

It breaks her heart.

She sits down with the child and explains that she would never send them away and loves them to pieces!

It gets better after that.

When the nightmares start, it takes Lucy some time to get used to waking up every night at random hours.

Eventually, she moves the child into her bed with her, so she doesn’t have to trek across her entire apartment.

This helps the nightmares, though!

Sometimes though, sleeping with the child doesn’t help. So Lucy turns to her Clestial Spirits!

Particularly Grandpa Crux. He pulls out the best stories of Celestial Spirits to tell the child and help calm them down after a pretty bad nightmare.

Natsu ends up helping with the child! The child attaches themselves to him pretty quickly, and he grows super close to them too!

The child likes that Natsu is so warm and friendly, and they love happy too!

Lucy dies when the child starts calling her “mom.”

She dies even more when they start calling Natsu “dad.”

Mirajane Strauss:

Mirajane is probably the most equipped to deal with a child out of all three women.

She grew up raising two younger siblings, and they both turned out fine!

When she initially adopts the child, she is very welcoming and happy to have another kid around the guild.

She’s very careful to keep them away from the booze and heavy drinkers like Cana when she’s drunk.

Mirajane is also super understanding of the child’s troubled past and tendency to have nightmares or cry!

She’s the best at comforting a small child after a nightmare. She’ll sing and coo and comfort them until the nightmare is the last thing on their mind.

She also doesn’t mind getting woken up at odd hours of the night.

She’s used to it cause Lisanna used to have nightmares all the time!

Mirajane is the queen of warm fuzzies, and her singing and stories never fail to help the child feel better!

Her having adopted the child means another thing.

It means the child gets two siblings/aunt and uncle in Elfman and Lisanna!

Elfman teaches the child transformation magic when they’re old enough, and Lisanna loves to read stories to the child :)

Possible Dream SMP-Empires SMP AU

So I was looking through the Empires SMP wiki, as one does, and I found out Empires!Katherine was a fairy. Then I remembered something, and went over to the Dream SMP wiki. Because I remembered Dsmp!Hannah is a fairy.

Basically they’re sisters now because my mind took one thing they share in common and ran with it. So here’s some ideas that came into my head for this AU.

Note: This is for fun.

- When Hannah was really young she would pull on Katherine’s tail when she wanted to get her attention. (because Katherine is also part cat apparently).

- Katherine had a garden and Hannah always went along with her sister to ‘help’.

- When Hannah got a bit older (7-9) she would actually start helping. Watering the flowers with a watering can she would bring from the water pump.

- Hannah noticed that her older sister walked around barefoot and started copying her.

- Katherine study’s her plants magical abilities. Hannah found it boring until one day she saw the magic in action and asked her sister if she could learn. Like many things, Katherine says she’ll teach Hannah when she’s older.

- Katherine and Hannah practice sparring.

- When Hannah is about 11 she starts helping Katherine with the rest of the gardening. Digging, planting, weeding, uprooting, carrying bags of fertilizer, the works.

- Hannah was always a bit jealous of her sister, for a plethora of reasons. But the biggest one is that Katherine had her wings.

- Katherine told Hannah that the younger fairy was just a late bloomer and would get her wings eventually. And that when she did, Katherine would be the one to teach her how to fly.

- Sometimes Katherine would carry Hannah while she flew, to give her sister a taste of what flying is like.

- One day Katherine would get a letter from a nearby village saying that they have a problem with their plants. And Katherine decided to bring Hannah along.

- During that ‘mission’ Katherine told her sister. “I hope you never have to do this, but pay attention, just in case.”

- Then Hannah went missing.

- Katherine searched for days, weeks, months, for her sister. But the girl vanished, almost as if she never existed at all.

- Many years go by, both women are living their own lives. Hannah on the Dream SMP. Katherine building her Empire.

- Katherine takes good care of the rose bushes in her empire, to honor her sister.

- Hannah is still wingless.

- Sam warns Hannah about the Egg. It vaguely reminds her of something long ago. Something she did maybe? Or saw? But it’s too blurry to understand. All she knows is that she thinks she can fix it.

- Xornoth spreads his corruption around the Empires, if affects her plants. She tries to recall what she did for that village all those years ago. She swore what happened to the plants there was like what’s happening now.

- Hannah is possessed by the Egg.

- Katherine finds a way to use plants to changed back to corrupted ones.

- The Red Banquet occurs. Hannah is a traitor.

- Joey was possessed by Xornoth, and kidnapped Shrub.

- Hannah kills Foolish.

- Katherine kills Joey.

- Weeks pass, and these corrupt beings go away. Their corruptness freeing the lands. Katherine takes care of the roses, but decides it’s time to move on. Her sister is gone, now she has an Empire too look out for. But she will continue to take care of the roses.

- Hannah, now free of the Egg’s influence, finally gets her wings. But has no sister, or memory of a sister, there to teach her how to fly.

“Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, we have a very special treat for all of you. We have the entire Justice League here with us. Please give a warm welcome to Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller.”

The entire audience clapped. There were whistling, some were screaming at the top of their lungs. You were cheering just as loud. Watching your handsome boyfriend walk out and wave to everyone. A relaxed smile spread on his lips when his eyes landed on you.

You were at the Graham Norton show. Sitting on the front row. No one knew who you were except the man who owned your body, heart, and soul, and now also Graham Norton and his crew. The producers had wanted you to stay backstage, but you had been adamant on wanting to sit in the audience and watching the show live. They had relented in the end if you promised not to cause a ruckus, which you had sworn.

Graham starts asking questions about the Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and at some point the engagement ring for Amy Adams’ character ‘Lois Lane’ comes into the conversation.

“Did you in fact choose that ring yourself, Henry?” Graham asked and motioned to the monitor behind him, showing a closeup of the ring.

“I didn’t. I actually have no clue where it comes from,” Henry chuckled, his eyes searching for you. You could see he was a little nervous, as he was fiddling with the hem of his suit jacket. You put your hand on your chest and crossed your fingers.

It was your secret sign for him. A sign of your devotion to him, as you had promised to always be there for him. The idea came to you while watching your favourite anime show ‘Fairy Tail’.

“If you ever become nervous or need a reminder, then look towards me or the camera if I am not there. I will you show you this sign,” you had crossed your fingers over your heart, “Even if you can’t see me, no matter how far away you may be, I will always be watching over you.”(1)

It had been a day where Henry had had a long day filled with interviews right at the beginning of your relationship. He hadn’t wanted to ask you to come, which was the reason why you hadn’t attended, thinking he wanted to work in peace. He proceeded to come home and went directly for your lap, falling asleep in 0.2 seconds, and you had asked him to bring you with him to work, as you, an author, could work anywhere.

“… I think it is about time he finds himself a girlfriend, a woman to spend his life with,” Jason’s voice pulled you out of your thoughts. You looked up to see Henry squirming more than before. His jaw was tense as he was forcing a laugh. You felt his pain and wished you could sit next to him and squeeze his hand in yours.

“I have a lot of single friends, Supes. Say the word and I’ll introduce you,” Jason smacked Henry’s thighs with the biggest grin on his bearded face. It may have sounded like a joke to the audience but Henry knew that Jason wasn’t teasing.

“I don’t think my girlfriend will like that you’re playing matchmaker, brother,” Henry smiled. All the actors’ faces fell, even Jason was gobsmacked as his jaw dropped to the floor.

Then Henry noticed what he had just said. His head turned towards you with a look of utter shock. He had just blurted out that he wasn’t single anymore, without having consulted you. Your heart was racing, your secret had been revealed. In some way, it felt like a heavy stone having been lifted from your shoulders.

You didn’t know whether to scold him for not asking you to make your relationship public or to laugh at the horror he was sporting on that handsome face of his. You opted for the second choice, the people around you followed suit and started laughing and cheering.

“Well, you heard it here first, ladies and gentlemen, Henry Cavill is officially off the market,” Graham announced to the camera. “Now, Henry, you have to tell us how you two met.”

“We… eh… met through mutual friends. They were having a game night, and we ended up being paired together for charades,” Henry smiled at the memory. Looking at you, making you fall even more in love with him. Jason and the others noticed where Henry was looking and started shouting for you to join the group.

“Oh yes, please she must join us for the next part of the fun,” Graham pleaded.

Ray and Ezra both stood and went to stand at the edge of the stage. Each man gallantly offered a hand, which you took and was led towards the sofa. Jason moved to make space for you and was wearing a big grin, his eyes shining with glee.

After the rounds of introduction and you told what your occupation was, Graham went to introduce the little quiz game he had conjured. You were each given a button that made a sound. Yours sounded like a pig snorting, while Henry’s was a howling wolf.

“So, the winner gets to take home whatever is underneath this piece of cloth,” Graham said after he had told you the rules. He motioned to the covered box next to him.

“Everyone ready?” he asked. All the actors and yourself said yes. Henry was leaning a little forward, to be ready to push his button.

“First question: Who are the original members of the Justice League?”

You pushed your button faster than anyone, while Henry pushed his so hard it nearly flew off the table.

“Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, Superman and Green Lantern,” you told Graham. (2)

“Go girly,” Gal cheered for you. She leaned forward and raised her hand for a high five, which you returned.

“Correct! Question number two: What is the Green Lantern oath?”

*Oink oink*

Again you were the fastest. Everyone watched as Henry let out an annoyed huff, but his face showed nothing but absolute happiness.

“In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight.

Let those who worship evil’s might Beware my power, Green Lantern’s light. (3)” You quoted.

You felt the other actors starring at you. Jason gave you a side hug and told you that Henry had found not only a beautiful woman but also an impressive one and that he was damn lucky to have you. You had smiled back and felt yourself being pulled back towards Henry’s side. He held a protective arm around you the remaining of the show.

“Seriously, Cavill. Don’t want to compete with your girl?” Jason asked teasingly.

“I’ll gladly just lean back and let her have her time in the light. Besides, I’m already winning because she’s with me,” Henry smiled proudly at you. You heard the entire audience all go ‘awwwwwwwww’, so did the actors and Jason went between you and Henry to hug both of you.

“Third question: In what year was the first Justice League comic book published?”

Again you were quick to push the button.

“Depending on whether you’re talking about the first time they appeared all together which was in The Brave and the Bold #28 (4) and published in 1959, while their very first own comic book series was published in late 1960.” (5)

Henry raised his eyebrows, clearly dazzled by your vast knowledge. 

“Correct again. Seems you know more about the Justice League than the Justice League itself,” Graham joked.

“I didn’t expect anything less from Superman’s girlfriend,” Ben said with an appreciative grin.

You felt Henry moving closer to you, hugging you tighter to his chest. It was the safest you had ever felt, and even though Henry hadn’t gotten one single point, he was still oozing happiness. Happy to have you by his side forever and ever.

“Here is what you’ve won,” Graham handed you the box and removed the cloth. Inside was Funko Pop figurines of every Justice League member.

After the show, you made sure that every single actor signed their respective figure, and you had pictures taken with them to remember the evening.

At home, you arranged the figures with how they look on the poster you had hung on the wall of your office.

“Another win for the team,” you said out loud. Henry walked in and hugged you from behind. He wrapped those big arms around your middle and whispered seductively in your ear:

“I’m the real winner here.”

FAIRY TAIL NEXT GEN CHILDREN-GRUVIA EDITION

 NALU

1-I know there is now a cannon child for edo Nalu and edo Gruvia with names and everything. I also know that Gajeel and Levy have twins and Levy is currently pregnant in 100 Years Quest.  I love it and their names and everything about those precious babies-but I’ve had these ideas and characters and backstories growing and developing in my head for years so I’m being the stubborn Taurus that I am and sticking with it.

So I’ve spent most of the day working on the first two ships and editing everything so I figured why not just post the second one right away.

Ah yes people... I’m in my happy place. 

THE FULLBUSTERS:

  Nicolai Sliver Fullbuster- Nicknames- Nick, Nicky, Nicky Bear (gotta love little sisters)

Birthday: March 15th, 797 (Bonus points if anyone gets the reference :P)

Magic: Ice Make Magic

Appearance:

-Height: 5’10 (same height as Gray)

-Hair: Dark and thick like Grays, slightly wavy curiosity of his mother.

-Eye color: Dark blue and large like he’s mother’s.

-Built like his father.

-He and Gray are the closest to clones.  

IMPORTANT FACTS:

-Gray doesn’t want his boy to deal with the consequences of being a demon slayer… so he doesn’t teach him how to be one. At least not completely. He does pass on some techniques and skills but nothing more.

-For example he teaches him Ice Make Sliver. 

-He got the name Nikolai Sliver from both of his grandfathers-I chose a Russian name because I have this idea in my head that in the real world Juvia would be Russian and nothing can convince me otherwise.

-Though he got over it eventually poor thing hated the cold and having to strip in the snow.

-He too got the illness Ultrear had, and while he didn’t get through it as easily as the Dragnell children he got through it in the end.

Relationships:

-Extremely close with both of his parents-the Fullbusters are known for having a very close knit and loving family.

-Like almost every boy in this generation he is a total mama’s boy and you better not call him out on it.

-Also idolizes his father and wants to be just like him

-Absolutely adores his little sister is very gentle and sweet with her. He’s extremely protective of her  and one of the only four people he can be a little possessive over (the others being Lila and his parents).However, she can get on his nerves because like most little siblings she follows him everywhere and wants to do everything with him. Plus they can both be temperamental and stubborn. They are also so much alike yet express themselves in such different ways that it causes clashes.  As a result, they bicker the most out of any of the siblings in the next gen-but their fights never, EVER turn physical. But the bottom line is they are exceptionally close-so close in fact they are one of the only pairs in the next gen that can successfully pull of a Unison Raid.

-Real he just wants Eliza to stop calling him Nicky Bear… in public at least.

-The first of his two best friends is Simon Scarlet. At first it was a matter of convenience because he was the only boy in the guild close to her age, but it didn’t take too long to become genuine friends. They love to bond over their love of sweets. The other of course is Lila.

And naturally Happy… Happy is everyone’s best friend

-He has loved Lila pretty much his entire life-before he even understood what that feeling was. When he learned what the concept of marriage, he knew right away she was the one he was going to marry. As stated before he constantly referred to her as his wife as children and when they were older (like almost 20 or older than 20) he would say “You know I’m going to marry you one day Dragnell right?”

Elizaveta/ Eliza/ Liza Ur Fullbuster

   Birthday: November 23rd, 801

Magic: Water.

Appearance:

Height: 5’2 (a couple of inches shorter than Juvia who is 5’4 according to the Wiki)

Hair: Long, thick and wavy like Juvia’s, dark like Gray’s

Eyes: Juvia’s shape but dark like Gray’s

-She has the same gifted build as Juvia, but somehow a little more fragile looking

-Has her father’s smile

-Yes that beautiful beautiful smile 

-Has heard from Gray that despite her strong resemblance to her mother something about her reminds him of his mother

IMPORTANT FACTS:

-Elizaveta or Eliza Ultear got her name from Juvia’s mother and obviously Ultear. Eliza is what she goes by and only those closest with her call her Liza

-Eliza was born five weeks early and this caused… problems. She was extremely sick as a baby. She ended up becoming dyslexic. Finally, it messed with her powers. She has water powers like her mother, but because she was born so early they are technically incomplete because her body isn’t completely made of water like Juvia. This means she’s not impervious to physical attacks, but she makes up for it in other ways.

-Due to being born early and being a little sickly, when she got that infamous illness all the children in the next gem see to get Ultear’s illness (I have no idea what else to call it) she got hit the worse. She actually came close to dying and Gray and Juvia were told to expect the worst.

-Because of this, despite obviously being a skilled and well trained wizard, Eliza is more known for her emotion strength and endurance rather than her physical strength (at least until she was almost an adult)

-Is definitely no ice wizard and can’t stand the cold, but did learn some tricks including how to freeze her rain into snow or freezing rain.

And yes… she is absolutely forbidden to strip under any and all circumstances unless she doesn’t want to see the outside world until she’s 30 or until Gray is dead… which ever comes first

Personality:

-Massive, huge heart of gold

-Very sweet

-Very shy and introverted

-Extremely reserved, keeps everything close to her chest like her father

-Appears laid back but is a ball of emotion and anxiety and occasional bouts of depression

-Comes off as an ethereal, sweet, Mary Jane type of dainty princess when she is anything but

-Actually, has a very snarky, sarcastic sense of humor a la Gray and is just funny like her mother.

-Is never willing to start a fight but if you push her enough she follows the same line of thought as Lila;

-Is very stubborn, moody and temperamental at times

-Very ambitious and always smiling despite everything that’s happened to her.

-Is quiet laid back with her language when she’s older and has been known to swear.

-Is also great at impressions.

-Has Juvia’s quiet astounding imagination and is definitely a dreamer.

-Is a HUGE romantic, openly reading her mother’s romance novels. Otherwise she’s very good at hiding it… mostly.

-Exceptionally smart but struggles with math and is a slow reader because of her dyslexia. She excels in history and music.

-I have a head cannon that Juvia can sing because of all the hydration she gets from having a water body, mermaids/sirens luring sailors with their voices and because apparently Juvia’s voice actress can sing. So Eliza inherited that gift but never sings on stage for the public.

 RELATIONSHIPS:

-Because of how sickly she has always been, and because she was the first girl born to the guild a string of boys, and because of how bad she’s treated by kids at school, Eliza is utterly spoiled and a little coddled by all. No on one minds though because she never acts spoiled. She just loves having such a safe and warm space to fall.

-Like her brother is super close to her parents.

-Juvia is her rock and the pair are inseparable.

-She is also daddy’s littler girl though don’t you ever get her to admit it. They love joking around with each other and just talking.

-She adores and idolizes her big brother-her Nicky Bear. She always wanted to follow him around and do what he did-which after a certain point would get on his nerves. She also sometimes get annoyed with how protective he can be. They can both be a little possessive over each other and their parents.  As mentioned before they have many of the same personality traits but express them in different ways, so they bicker a lot. But in the end she would be lost without him.

-Like her mother Eliza was unfortunately bullied badly by kids outside the guild and even more unfortunate a few kids in the guild. So her three closest friends are Lila Dragnell, Hazel Redfox and much to her chagrin Iggy Dragnell.

-Iggy is the only person who can flare her temper on the daily and who she has fought with-he never fights with more than words but from time to time she will blast him with water just to get him to leave her alone. He is more or less the annoying younger brother she never asked for but similar to her own brother would be lost without him.

-And before you ask no she has not and will never have a crush or any romantic feelings for Iggy… but Simon Scarlet on the other hand….

-Has a love hate relationship with Happy after he was flying her around ounce and dropped her from pretty high up which gave her a fear of heights.

                                                  ~5 Years Ago~    Growing up was rough in the Aquila Tribe. You trained daily with La Sirene, learning your water dragon slayer magic, until that one fateful day.    Nidhoggr showed up, slaying everyone you knew. You had trained for this day, but when the time came to prove yourself, you got scared and ran into the woods. With the tears brimming at your eyes, you could hardly see. In fact, your vision was so blurry that you ran into a blonde man.    Due to the adrenaline running through your veins, the force you rammed into him with was enough to knock him off his feet.    "Sorry about that," you said, rubbing the back of your head.    "It's fine," he replied, brushing the dirt off his pants and standing up. "but what the hell happened over there? And who are you?"    "My name is (y/n), and-" you began to choke up, memories of what had just happened flooding back into your mind. "My... my family." You couldn't hold it in anymore, the tears poured down your cheeks.    He immediately pulled you closer. "Shhh (y/n) it's going to be okay," he said, wrapping his muscular arms around your back. "I'm gonna take you to somewhere safe. My grandfather is the guild master several miles north of here. We will help you, I promise."    With those words, several huge sobs escaped your lips. Later that day, you discovered that the person who was there for you in the woods was none other than Laxus Dreyar.                                                         ~1 year ago~     Within the next year, you two were an item, but you still didn't feel 100% at home in the guild. The relationship was great... until he got excommunicated.    You decided to stay at fairy tail for the time being, even though you weren't an official member. Eventually, though, everyone in the guild began to remind you of little bits of Laxus and you couldn't take it.    It was a rainy day when you ran to his doorstep. You rapped your knuckles on the door softly, waiting for the blonde to answer and invite you in.    "Hey (y/n), I was wondering when you were gonna come see me. Hell, I started thinking about moving on. Distance only ever hurts relationships, but I knew you would pick me over the guild. I saved you after all. Come on in."    "Actually Laxus, I think I'm going to stay out here. I like the rain, so long as there isn't any lightning. You started to move on? I was never going to pick you. You've really become a dick. It's over. I don't want to see you, or anyone else in the guild ever again." With that, you turned away from him and began to run.    Before you could make it too far down the street, a bolt of lightning hit the ground a few feet in front of you. "(Y/n) wait!" Laxus was now approaching you.    "I just told you, it's over. Accept it and move on. You were already thinking about it anyway," you retorted, pivoting to direct your body towards your apartment. Before you could get far, he grabbed your arm.    "Let go of me!" you screamed, sending a wave of water directly up his nose. He let go, coughing up water. Luckily this gave you the chance to escape, and your place was only a few blocks away.    Once you reached the door, tears of frustration burned as they streamed down your face. You haven't used your magic since the day you lost your tribe, and you were angrier than ever for using it against someone who means nothing to you. You began to pack all of your belongings into a duffel bag, leaving a note for the landlord, and a second for the guild. Finally satisfied with both, you picked up your bag and left your humble abode, kissing the building, the streets, the city goodbye.

                                                    ~Present Day~    You have been searching for a new guild to join for what seemed like a year now. Picking up odd jobs here and there was enough to cover the bare necessities.    Luckily, you had finished a big task today and were rewarded well. You decided to go to the bar to celebrate. As you entered the door, you made eye contact with none other than Laxus.    You rolled your eyes, determined to not let his presence bother you. You are here to reward yourself and have fun. Quickly making your way to the bar, you noticed a very attractive man sitting next to the only open seat. He had blonde hair and striking dark blue eyes.    Sitting down, you got the attention of the bartender. "Can I get three yuzushu on the rocks please?" you asked sweetly.    "Are those for a group of friends, or are you just having a rough day?" The blonde stranger asked.    "Rough day I guess..." you mumbled, chugging the first one as soon as it was set in front of you.    Upon receiving the second one, you slid it over to the attractive male. "Thanks. The name's Sting. And you?"    "(y/n)," you said as the third drink was set down. "I promise I'm not normally like this, it's just-"    "You don't need to explain yourself. It's a bar. We're all here to drink." He replied, flashing his beautiful smile before you had the chance to say more.    "That guild mark... You're from Sabertooth right?" you asked, glancing at the white stamp on his left shoulder.    "Good eye. Normally I'd drink at the guildhall, but I had a feeling I should be here for some reason tonight. Guess I know why now." He said, visibly looking you up and down.    Blushing, you turned back to your drink and downed a third of it, tasting the fruit. "I-is it true that this is karaoke night?" you asked, trying to change the subject before you made a fool of yourself.    "Yes it is, and it looks like the first person is about to start. Wanna move closer?"    "As long as you dance with me!" you replied, picking up your drink and standing up.    The two of you made your way over to the couches by the stage. Setting your glass down, you turned to him. You haven't talked to anyone since Laxus romantically, and have only been in that one relationship. Should you make the first move? Rock music came over the speakers and Laxus began to sing into the mic.    "My ex is over there. Can you kiss me?" You asked before you could tell yourself that it was an unreasonable request. You had just met this man ten minutes ago, and now you were asking to kiss him? And what for? To make Laxus jealous? No. To show Laxus what he will never have.    Before you could take back what you said, his soft lips crashed into yours. A soft light illuminated his body, and there was an orb of water floating above you. You ran your hands through his soft hair and he grabbed your neck, pulling you closer. His tongue flicked against your lips, asking for entrance. You granted, easily giving into him. You could taste the yuzushu in his mouth, which only made you want him more. You fought for dominance, but he wasn't giving up. He pushed you onto the couch, and you slowed down the kiss, unable to breathe.    Pulling away, you realized there wasn't any more singing. Scanning the room, you heard the jingle of the door as it closed behind the person you will now never see again.

Fairy Tail: Non In-Universe Questions

Was Anna?Was Zervis planned? Was Zeref always planned to be completely evil?So @ac-fairytail posted some Fairy Tail non in-universe questions (all credit goes to her) and I figured: “Maybe I could attempt to honestly answer these questions and reverse-engineer Mashima’s thought process!” Of course, no sane person would ever attempt this, but here I am, so...

WARNING: Spoilers for the entire Fairy Tail manga.

Did Mashima base Stardresses off of Bravely Default’s Conjurerclass? Or was it Dresspheres? Or both?

Never played Bravely Default or Final Fantasy X-2 (even though they’re on my list of games to play), but if I had to guess after a quick wiki search, it would be Dresspheres. Problem is that the Stardresses are far less interesting, balanced, or explained. Oh well; Mashima trying to replicate a franchise with the writing quality of Final Fantasy is like an ant poking a dinosaur with a stick.

Was he always planning the time travel plot? If so, why did Erik refer to second gen dragon slayers as a “new” generation? There haven’t been dragons for centuries.

Considering that the “dragons vanished seven years ago” plot-point was established at the beginning of the series and further cemented by Natsu meeting Gajeel, I’m guessing he was planning to include time travel once he decided to continue the series past Tower of Heaven. 

As for Erik, I’m guessing that he just declared himself as second-gen because a) he heard about Natsu and Gajeel as traditional dragon slayers from the Fairy Tail-Phantom Lord war (which caused ripples across Fiore) and assumed himself to be superior because dragon lacrima were invented after the age of dragons, and b) he never heard of Sting or Rogue.

If Irene was always planned to be Queen of the Dragons, why did he barely integrate Dragnof Kingdom into anything? And why didn’t Acno realize?

I think that once Mashima created Irene’s concept, he tried to integrate her into the stories of the Dragon King Festival, but failed to create anything even remotely interesting or new, so he just quickly scrapped together a kingdom and called it a day. Yes, it’s infuriating.

As for Acno, well...he’s Acno. He don’t give two flying fucks about anything.

Was Natsu always planned to be END? Why is there no foreshadowing for it prior to the Tartaros arc?

When Zeref mentioned that Natsu specifically couldn’t kill him back in Tenrou, he was alluding to an ability that Natsu would gain in the future to beat Zeref. However, when Mashima realized that nakama bullshit wasn’t a valid ability (yeah, he went back on that in Alvarez, whatever), he solidified this ability in the form of END around Tartaros. So yeah, I would refer to Zeref’s line in Tenrou as “shot-in-the-dark” foreshadowing.

Was Zeref always planned to be completely evil? If so, why was he established as sympathetic in his introductory arc? Was this bad writing on Mashima’s end?

See, this is what really intrigued me about Zeref in Tenrou. He was established as sympathetic, but he couldn’t remain passive because that would kill people. He was FORCED to be malicious and completely evil if he ever came into contact with people until he could find someone that could kill him because that is the nature of his curse. For him, it was better to intentionally than unintentionally kill if the person or life were to die anyway. It’s why I really fell in love with him as an antagonist.

However, what is bad writing on Mashima’s end is how completely Zeref flipped to Ruthless Big Bad in Alvarez. Him being “excited” about his battle with Natsu is inexcusably inconsistent writing, and him gaining Fairy Heart just to rewrite time for his own selfish reasons should’ve activated his Death Magic on the spot because of his optimism towards a life where he won’t kill. Plus, his loss due to nakama bullshit.

Was Zervis planned?

As much as I hate to admit it, probably. The light and dark love relationship is about as cliche as you can get, and Mashima is certainly not one to dodge cliches or subvert tropes in his writing.

Was Anna?

Hell no. However, I did think that Layla was planned. When Hades was ranting about primordial magic to Team Natsu during Tenrou, Lucy, in thought, said, “I think I’ve heard of this primordial magic somewhere. Mom?” Even though Zeref had no interest in primordial magic (as proven in him killing Hades in anger), Eclipse and the Heartfilias did. Hence, I assumed that Layla would play a huge role in the final arc of the series. Boy, was I naive and optimistic.

Was Clear Heart made so OP because Mashima knew he’d fucked up managing Requip?

No. Because fanservice. Duh. Although, I did think that Clear Heart was perfectly balanced in her fight against Azuma, with her magic power bring directly converted to her Crimson Sakura blade. Any other use just feels unnecessary.

Why did Erza never use Nakagami Armour again? Too OP?

Mashima’s reason: huge audience backlash from its magic-breaking abilities and pulled-out-of-its-ass reveal. Erza’s reason: she..doesn’t want to use it because of its magic draining properties???

Why introduce the bunny armour?

The bunny armor isn’t the armor Mashima introduced that made me mad. The Seduction Armor is. Seriously, isn’t the whole point of seducing a man to take off clothes? Does that even make it armor? At least the bunny armor is cute and cosplay-ish, which fits with Erza’s happier, more playful side we see of her outside of fights; the Seduction Armor is just flat-out nonsensical.

Why did Mashima specifically want 12 Spriggans? There was apparently a reason for this, but Mashima never revealed what it was.

Originally, he wanted six and Zeref to be the seventh member, since Mashima is obsessed with the number seven. However, I think that he wanted to get a few character concepts out before he copped out of the series, and he had too many to just have six. Thus, he probably got up to nine or ten, but then he remembered that Tartaros and Avatar had the same amount of members, so he just said “fuck it” and moved the number to twelve. This would explain why Invel and Bloodman were shoehorned in with no original magic whatsoever; Mashima just threw them in to get the number to twelve.

Were Lisanna and Loke sidelined because they were threats to NaLu, or because Mashima couldn’t be bothered writing them?

Both. The first goes without explaining. However, I have theories on why Mashima didn’t bother to write either of them.

Lisanna: Mashima’s absurd obsession with redemption arcs, nakama bullshit, and fake-out deaths prove to me that he follows by the “heroes can’t die” code of writing, something which I hope no mature, aspiring writer follows. Thus, he brought Lisanna back into the story to follow this code and thought, “Maybe I could do something with her later.” Turns out he couldn’t think of anything when he was developing each new arc. The closest we ever came to Lisanna getting in the spotlight (besides that god-awful scene from Tartaros) was when Azuma “killed” Mira. Originally, as much as I like Mira, I would’ve loved to Lisanna fill in Mira’s shoes and dedicate herself to become a stronger person because of the death of her sister. But no, Mashima didn’t have the balls to really kill Mira and the Nalu shippers were clawing at his door, so she ended up as a void of nothingness.

Loke: Once his arc was done, Mashima wanted to develop the rest of the Zodiac Spirits. Not that he really did, but he didn’t want to single out Loke too much, as much as I like Lolu. However, Loke being the key that Lucy sacrificed rather than Aquarius would have worked a lot better in the grand sense of the narrative, and would’ve really hammered in a new dimension to Lucy’s potential character arc in Alvarez. So much failed potential, Mashima. So much.

Why did Mashima skip to having Mira being fine using her Satan Souls all of a sudden in the Tenrou arc?

Because since the cause of Mira’s initial stress and reluctance has been completely retconned by the narrative, she’s perfectly able to go all out again, guys! I mean, it’s not like real-life victims of PTSD still suffer for years and years on end even with achieving social and financial success, getting married, and having children, right? RIGHT!?

Seriously, fuck Mashima.

If Key of the Starry Skies and Eclipse Celestial Spirits are canon, why weren’t they just written into the manga?

Because Mashima didn’t care enough about these arcs; A-1 just pitched the filler arcs to him and said, “this is what we’re gonna do, kay?” and he was like, “Oh, these are cool. Canon.” He couldn’t be bothered to write them because he was ready to launch into GMG and Tartaros, respectively. Also, while Eclipse Celestial Spirits works well into the show’s canon, Key of the Starry Skies doesn’t. GMG was effective in setting up the future of the series after the timeskip and NEEDED to happen right after it (doesn’t make the arc necessarily good, though). Plus, the Neo Oracion Seis feels unnecessary since they canonically are released from prison in Tartaros.

Why completely change what Wendy’s capable of in the last arc? Possession? Really?

Problem is, though, her arc was finished the moment Doranbolt saved her and Carla from Face. Her facing Sherria proved that she is willing to fight for her guild regardless of her moral issues with fighting, her going Dragon Force proved that she has gained the experience to become a tactical and efficient fighter, and her resolve to be with Carla and protect the people she loves by choosing to die when Face is about to self-destruct solidifies her developing outgoingness with the new people that she loves. As a character, her arc was concluded before Alvarez began. In my opinion, she wasn’t capable of anything more in Alvarez.

As for the possession, it’s infuriating because of the pedophilia implications, not ruining Wendy as a character. I see possession as a tool for character growth only if the possessed person is able to grow in strength and become a stronger person to overcome the weakness that allowed them to become possessed. Take Aoi Zaizen from Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS. I really hope that her upcoming character arc will be based around the possession that corrupted her in her very first on-screen duel and how she can overcome the weakness that the Knights of Hanoi exposed from her. Wendy’s possession...did not have that potential. Once Irene left her body, Wendy went right back to her fighting as usual and didn’t seem bothered by the possession. Why? Because her arc was finished and the show was nearing its end anyway. You can be mad about that, and I won’t blame you, but any further growth from Wendy would feel redundant in my opinion.

Was he planning on doing an arc about gods?

Yep. I have a theory that Avatar was supposed to be his “god” arc, but I’ll talk more about that later.

Was it really Ankhseram that cursed Zeref?

I...guess? Mashima never introduced him as a character, but I guess he can still exist. Makes Mashima a bad writer, but it doesn’t make Ankhseram invalid.

Why bring Rogue’s shadow back as a minor plot point in Avatar? He had no intention of addressing it in Alvarez.

Okay, in Mashima’s hardly-deserved defense, Alvarez would not have been the best time to discuss Rogue’s shadow; to me, Avatar was a good point to address it because it was our first full arc with Devil Slayer Gray. To me, it makes sense that Rogue’s shadow would possess him after the dragons emerge through the Eclipse Gate and Gray would become easily corrupted by Devil Slayer Magic without his friends for support (since they’re dead in the alternate timeline, though that raises the question of does Tartaros still exist there). There was really no better time to address it.

Did he give up after Tartaros?

Well, the anime gave up after GMG, that’s for sure. For Mashima, I’d say it was in the middle of writing Avatar. I think that he was planning on fleshing out Avatar as a cult, since their existence was the whole reason that Hades formed Grimoire Heart and “awakened” Zeref’s malicious heart. In addition, since they had enough influence to convince countless wizards that Zeref could be revived with keys and/or Towers of Heaven, they would have the influence to interact with gods and God Slayers. As a writer, Mashima could’ve killed two birds with one stone and be ready to tackle Zeref’s big final arc. What probably actually happened was him waking up after a drunken tirade and realizing that his series was being more and more ridiculed for its poor writing decisions, his fanbase was becoming one of the most toxic in all of anime, and he was just running out of ideas. He questioned every life choice he ever made, decided to trash the remainder of Fairy Tail just to start over with a new work, burned through the rest of Avatar, and threw Alvarez together haphazardly just to prevent himself thinking about potential endgames any longer.

It really pains me to see Fairy Tail crashing and burning towards the end, but for what it was worth, I enjoyed it. It’ll be harder for me to go back and enjoy it because of my investment in much better shonen manga, such as HxH, JoJo, and YYH, but it holds a lot of memories for teenage me, and I’ll certainly treasure them. 

Also thanks to Mashima for teaching me what NOT to do as a screenwriter. Helps a lot.

Could It Be Chapter 3

Summary: When a new guy transfers to Fairy Tail High, he spends a lot of time with Lucy. This upsets Natsu but he doesn’t know why. Could he have fallen for his best friend?

Rated: T for language, drama, and fluff. LOTS OF FLUFF.

Okay so a lot happens in this chapter and many things need to be explained to help you understand it better.

 I should say that this is taking place in the same universe as this OVA http://fairytail.wikia.com/wiki/Fairy_Academy_-_Yankee-kun_and_Yankee-chan!_(Episode)  just a few months later. Obviously because Gajeel and Juvia are now students there. Though I have my own little twists here and there.

Regarding Capricorn and Virgo. You see the convo that Capricorn and Lucy have is the one Kim had with her dad in the movie. Since Lucy doesn't have any parents, I gave that dialogue to Capricorn. Who btw is human in this. All the Celestial Spirits are. Also him being the school's guidance counselor is based how in the OVA the Spirits were members of the faculty. I just made Virgo be a secretary because I thought it would fit her better.  

 As such Aries is given Kim's mom's dialogue from the movie.

 Zombie Werewolves vs Zombie Vampires. I just combined the 3 paranormal creatures that everyone has been obsessing over the past couple of years and combined them all together.

 The exceeds will act like normal everyday cats. No talking. Also now you know the full story of why Happy is blue in this universe.

 So the part where Natsu is walking backwards, you see Ron in the series rides a scooter, and I wanted to keep Natsu's motion sickness in. (though really it will never come up in this story, but still) so I just made this up. Though to be fair Natsu would probably do something stupid like that.

 "The Language of Levy" is supposed to be a pun of "Monique Speak" from the movie.

 The love rival appears. Yes I kept his name as Eric. Probably because it's so generic. Just keep in mind that he's not a Synthodrone. And that's all your getting. In the words of River Song… "Spoilers."

~Lucy’s POV~        Soon the end of the school day had arrived. Students were bustling in and out of the hallways, getting stuff out of their lockers, and meeting up with friends to hang out with after school. As for Lucy, she was at her own locker taking out her books and putting them in her schoolbag. Packing up, she overheard Erza talking on her cellphone.    “Jellal, you are going to look so handsome in your tux,” she said. So she’s talking to her boyfriend, then. Lucy thought to herself. She closed the door to her locker and leaned against the cold metal. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Gray and Juvia walking and holding hands. Lucy sighed, and feeling discouraged hung her head. As she was walking away she heard a voice called out to her. “Hey! Lucy!” Natsu shouted as he ran up to her. “Natsu, what’s up?” Lucy said trying to sound upbeat. “So, are you ready for our movie night tonight? I got Zombie Werewolves vs. Zombie Vampires on DVD.” he said with a huge grin on his face. “Um, actually Natsu, I’m-“ “What?” “I’m just going to head home.” “Oh, okay, cool.” Lucy started to walk away when all of a sudden Natsu said, “Hey, Luce. I think I know why you’re so upset.” Lucy turned around with bright eyes and exclaimed, “You do?” “Yeah, it’s because I almost got you in trouble with Mr. C, this morning,” he said sheepishly. “Oh, no it’s okay.” Lucy said waving her hands in front of her. “I’m used to that.” Natsu smiled at her. “Well, I’ll see you on Monday then?” he asked. “Yeah, see you then.”    On Monday Lucy went to see the school’s guidance counselor, Mr. Capricorn. He was an older man around 50 years of age with a small white beard who always wore sunglasses. Lucy sat in the waiting room, swinging her legs back and forth while she sat in a chair. Ms. Virgo, the secretary, tapped her on the shoulder and she stopped swinging her legs. “He’s ready to see you now,” she said. “Thanks.” Lucy said as she got up and headed for the office. She opened the door and as she did, Mr. Capricorn exclaimed, “Ah! Miss Heartfillia! Please have a seat.” “Thank you.” Lucy said. Lucy took a seat and Mr. Capricorn started asking her questions. “So, how is everything? Any troubles with your school work?” “No, everything is fine.” “Is there anything you want to talk about?” “Well, there is one thing that’s been bugging me lately.” “I’m all ears.” “It’s about boys.” Mr. Capricorn stared at her nervously. “Oh, um…” “Boys and dating?” “Well, er…” Mr. Capricorn cleared his throat. “Ms. Virgo would you please come here?” Ms. Virgo came into the office. “Yes, sir?” “Please take Miss Heartfillia to the nurse’s office. She doesn’t feel well.” “I feel fine.” Lucy insisted. “Miss Heartfillia, please just go.” “Alright, then.” Lucy said knowing it was no use arguing.    When Lucy had gotten to the Nurse’s office she was so confused. “Hi Lucy!” the nurse greeted her. “Hi, Aries.” Lucy greeted her back. Ms. Aries was the school’s nurse. She was a young woman with bubble-gum pink hair that curled at the bottom and she had big brown eyes. She and Lucy were really close, so they called each other by their first names. “What brings you to my office?” she asked. “I’m not sure. I was in Mr. Capricorn’s office and I brought up the subject of boys and dating, then he told me to come here.” Aries giggled. “Oh, I think he did that because he’s really not comfortable talking about stuff like that.” “Oh.” Lucy said finally understanding. “Would you like to talk to me about it?” Soon all the frustrations that she had bottled up inside came pouring out. “Okay, so the Spring Formal is coming up but I didn’t know about it. So all my friends have dates and I don’t. And there’s nobody else in the entire school that I can go with. And…and I’m gonna end up with Natsu!” she said all in one breath. Aries blinked a couple of times. “Just calm down, Lucy,” she assured her. “I don’t see what the crisis is. He’s a very nice guy.” Lucy put her face in her hands. “Aries, he’s not a guy. He’s Natsu.” “So, as a friend he’s okay?” Aries asked. “Well, yeah. He’s my best friend.” “But he’s not boyfriend material.” “Obviously.” “And that’s because?” “You see the person you go with, it makes a statement.”    Suddenly a voice said, “I don’t have a date yet.” Lucy jumped up in a surprise. “Really, Loke you don’t have a date?” Aries asked. Lucy turned around and saw Loke, the school’s resident playboy. He was always trying to get Lucy to go on a date with him. “So, what do you say Lucy? Wanna be my date?” he asked her. “I already told you Loke, I don’t like you that way, but thanks for offering.” “Oh, okay then.” “Why are you in the nurse’s office in the first place?” “Stomachache, but I’m feeling better now.” “I’ll write both of you passes back to class.” “Thanks Aries.” “Yeah, thanks.”    Lucy was walking in the hallway, when the bell rang for lunch. She saw Levy at her locker and ran up to her. “Hi, Levy-chan,” she said. “What’s up girl?” Levy asked. “I just wanted to say you were right.” “I know. What was I right about?” “About the dance. Why should I skip a night of having fun with my friends? Besides, Natsu and I are cool.” “Stand by your Natsu.” “And he’s…” she was cut off when she saw Natsu walking backwards towards them. “Filled with child-like wonder,” she said despondently. “You know, this is really fun.” Natsu said. Soon a blue cat popped out of Natsu’s backpack. “Natsu, why did you bring Happy to school?” Lucy asked him. “I didn’t. He must have crawled into my backpack when I wasn’t looking.” Lucy shook her head. “We’ll see you at lunch.” “Later, Natsu.” “Keep it real, ladies.” ~Natsu’s POV~        As Lucy and Levy headed for the Cafeteria, Natsu walked backwards all the way to his locker. He just arrived when he bumped into someone and fell to the ground. “Ah! What the hell?!” he shouted. When he got up and dusted himself off, he saw a random guy standing there. He had medium length straight brown hair, green eyes, tan skin, and was tall. “Uh, dude? You’re standing in front of my locker.” Natsu said angrily. The guy said “Oh, I’m sorry man. I didn’t know. I’m new here and I…” Natsu instantly changed his attitude. “Why didn’t you say so? Welcome to Fairy Tail High! I’m Natsu, Natsu Dragneel,” he said while putting his hand to shake. The guy grabbed his hand and gave it a healthy pump. “Hey, I’m Eric,” he introduced himself. All of sudden Happy started sniffing Eric’s sneakers. “Is that cat, blue?” he asked. “Yeah, he fell into a bucket of paint when he was a kitten while we’re painting my sister’s room and we could never wash it out of him.” “That is so cool.” Eric said excitedly. “Really? You think so?” “Totally.” “I think we’re going to get along just fine. “ Natsu said.    Later Natsu and Eric arrived at lunch. “So this is the Cafeteria.” Natsu said showing Eric the ropes. As they were getting their food from the lunch line, Eric spotted someone. “Who’s that?” he asked Natsu. Natsu saw whom he was pointing to and said, “Oh that’s Lucy.” As they dragged their trays along, Eric asked, “So, you know her?” "Yeah, we’re tight!” “Hooked up?” “Ew! Lucy and me? No, no, no! We’ve just been friends since we were 10, but not like that. Besides she's….” “A major hottie.” Natsu slammed his tray down and looked Eric straight in the eye and said, “Okay! Let’s never talk about her that way ever again!” Eric was taken aback, but said “Whatever you say.”    As Natsu walked up to sit with Lucy and Levy, Eric was right behind him. “Hey, Natsu.” Lucy said. She all of sudden got dreamy eyed when she saw Eric. “H-hi,” she said nervously. “Eric, my good man. Pull up a chair and-“Natsu stopped as Eric took the seat right next to Lucy. “Heh isn’t that funny?” he said. “Actually that’s my chair. Not that my name’s on it.” Eric looked at Lucy and said, “Hey, I’m Eric. How you doin?” Levy suddenly said. “Girl, I just went from “So” to “Whoa!” “Huh?” Eric looked confused. “It takes a while to learn the Language of Levy” Lucy explained. “Well, what about you?” Eric asked while smiling at her. “W-what about me?” Lucy asked shyly while tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.    Natsu was still standing with a frown on his face when he pulled a chair from underneath another student who fell to the ground. “Hey!” he yelled. Natsu ignored him as he pulled his chair right between Eric and Lucy. “Oh, that Luce! She’s such a kidder! Did I mention we’ve been friends since middle school? Good times. Good times!” he exclaimed as he knocked his drink over spilling it everywhere. The others just stared at him with blank expressions on their faces. Natsu’s face began to fall as he said to himself, “I feel as though a loop has just been formed and I’m not in it.”
