Drew a bunch of Marinettes in a bunch of different artists styles it was a lot of fun!!

#my art #marinette dupain cheng #miraculous ladybug #miraculous fanart #style mimic #sorry for the @s btw #yall should go follow those artists if you dont already also #this was sort of inspired by a post the three artists on the top row made #i think they all got together and drew with one another #which is really cool #but i was genuinely confused because i mimic styles a lot #and ive seen others do it too so i was just like #wow they really know each others styles really well #until i thought about it and read their posts some more #style mimicking is really freaking fun and i think its really good practice #and a good way to explore other ways of doing things #like you really have to learn new techniques and get out of your comfort zone #also anna scribbles i could not find a recent pic of marinette in her main outfit #so thats the only marinette i drew in different clothes cuz i couldnt find a more recent ref of you drawing it #anna scribble marinette has privileges thats the others dont #but ye #i also threw my own style in there as a frame of reference to what me draw like #ive drawn marinette before just not in a loooong while #sabertooth walrus was the hardest for me to mimic cuz they have a broad range in their style #so its like which sabertooth do i wanna be in this pic #Buggachat has such a distinct style thats very clean and consistent which is amazing so they were easy #being easy or hard arent bad things either it also has to do with like styles meeting up with one another #buggachats and mine arent too too different in some shapes and aspects #so yeah itd be easier plus they drew marinette like 3 sec ago so i have more recent of a ref #as opposed to sabertooth who i have a recent ref of ladybug but not marinette so we got two diff styles in one

#rottmnt #rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles #rottmnt leo #rise leo #back to black and white for me #just wanted to play with colors and Leo got to be my guinea pig #genuinely I just kept putting layers on top of each other until I was like hm okay #this is why I stick with greyscale 😭#too indecisive for color #turtle art tag #the trans implication was for once accidental but my subconscious is RIGHT actually-#he wears the colors well what can I say #anyway you know it’s not me without tags so here we go #the bros represent the four different times of day SO well #Mikey is Dawn Leo is Day Raph is Dusk and Donnie is Night #you can also argue switching Mikey and Leo around too but I like Leo as day simple bc his blue and stripes work with it #blue for clear blue skies #red stripes for dusk yellow for dawn #‘where are his swords’ in the void #man I wanna draw Leo in blue pink and white more often those really are his colors tbh #not JUST for my trans leo agenda either #on that note Mikey would rock fuchsia #and splash colors like that kickass jacket he had in CDMtT #Donnie would do great in lilacs or silvers #and Raph would kill it in gold #tan too would be so pretty on him and paired with gold? 👌👌👌#not me wanting to draw fashion for them 😭#on a further note April in emerald greennnnn #midnight blue or marigold for her too would be gorgeous #I could go on all day tbh

I just love olimar. I just really enjoy that man #also this really got me flexing those bande dessinée muscles from back thens lol #Ive missed drawin with this kinda proportions... I should do it more #Im gonna draw an olimar to put in my wallet. I need to make my life harder to explain to strangers #I also wanna. add more details to his space suit. make it look more like real life space suit for fun & entertainment #man I enjoy the animals in pikmin so much. they really are just like. animals. theyre animals #its great I love how genuinely bug-lookin the bugs are even with the stylization. pikmin and pokemon are really good at that #would like to learn how to do that... sometimes in the future #oh yeah fun fact. my effort at cleaning up my undercut a few days ago went badly. right before I went to a family reunion thing for 2 days #so I was goin out of my mind at that event postin abt olimar bc I love him #and then. when I got home. I decided to shave my head instead of trying to fix the haircut again #and so the sequence of events becomes I post about olimar -> I enter my bald arc #I am okay with this. have a good night lads. binding books is actually really fun u should try it

did this for the unofficial blue lock zine on twitter, which you can look at here !! my prompt was "sleepover" :]

some thoughts/headcanons i had while drawing this:

since snuffy treats football as a job, i thought it would be in character (and very cute) if he gave his players mandatory rest days

these rest days aren't only when they dyed barou's hair but also when they have sleepovers n hang out!!

sleepover nights are arranged by aryu and sendou-- aryu does the decorating while sendou gets the snacks, chooses the movies, etc.

niko and aryu are watching puella magi madoka magica on niko's laptop. so far, mami is aryu's fav

niko's laptop has a sayaka miki sticker and a very off brand banana fish sticker that someone got him

sendou is always the first to fall asleep and every time the other members stuff a pillow under his head & throw a blanket on him. he's a heavy sleeper so once he's out, he's OUT

the plushies niko and aryu are holding belong to sendou

aiku looks like he's texting a girl & everyone assumes so but rly he's just watching baby animal tiktoks (usually baby chicks). sometimes niko gets nosy to see what he's doing and every time he gets whiplash

aryu painted everyone's nails black !!! though he made his own nails look a lil fancier because its ~osha~

barou is invited to everyone of these sleepovers but he rarely comes willingly, aiku and lorenzo usually drag him into this mess

in the drawing, barou's returning from a quick bathroom break or smth and while he was gone, lorenzo took his chances and brought out the popcorn

lorenzo is a messy eater so popcorn crumbs r everywhere..... barou hates it sooooooooooo much

HOWEVER in the drawing the popcorn mess isnt entirely from messy eating!! the real reason is lorenzo got bored and started bouncing popcorn off of sendou's forehead (his ass is NAWT waking up)

after having enough sleepovers, everyone kinda has their own spots & usually when barou is there, he's between aiku and niko-- he's cool being around them bc they usually just keep to their phones/laptops

^^ this doesnt stop lorenzo from throwing popcorn at him tho LMFAO and that's when aiku becomes not only the final wall for blue lock but the only wall between barou (becoming a murderer) and don "ace eater" lorenzo

and i think that's everything........ !!! if u read all this. Damn ur kinda my goat (THANK U)
