very interesting allegory for queerness in olivine's plotline during the idol fest event:
-the church thinks idols and idolfest are stupid and blasphemous etc
-olivine joins idolfest anyways
-olivines parents are furious and say he's ruining the name of the priesthood or whatever
-after realizing theres a lot of secret idol fans amongst the church, olivine (with the help if his friends) decides to convince the church and the king to let the idol fest performances be held right in front of the holy water temple
-he gets another letter from his parents, they're shocked about the church cooperating with idol fest, but it seems they've accepted olivine as an idol for now
-olivine's openness and the popularity of his group at idolfest helps to change the churches stance on idols and some other stuff
-this in turn inspires a ton more priests and orher church related people to start living their lives authentically

fx is out here producing banger after banger tv. One of the only channels still putting their whole pussy into funding and distributing consistently top-tier network television. Huge shoutout to all the showrunners, writers, and directors that make amazing beautiful visions to air on this network.
It's kind of a shame the only time they seem to air their own programs is between 11pm and 3am though.
