#Ukraine #Ukrainian special forces #they were always badass #this reminds me so much of when Ze said that Ukrainians always helped other people #it seems like Ukrainians are more willing to take risks in order to save lives than others are #in that way it kind of reminds me of the helicopter flights to Azovstal #I’m not saying it’s the same thing #I just don’t think most other people would have done either operation #I do wonder though how it all came to be #sounds to me like the Ukrainians wanted to save their people #and other countries either became aware or were made aware of the operation #and then just said ‘hey we have people there too - would you take them with you pretty please?’#wonder if they got credit for it afterwards

Ok this is so weird but I have a theory for how Hels came to be... There was a lightning flash when Wels cloned himself, and Hels owed Evil X a favour, apparently. What if... ya know... Evil X helped Hels get a body?

Had to watch back a few things before I answered this so I got some info straight-

There was lightning, though I think that was Wels’s personal addition editing wise. I think the fact that he was holding blaze rods might’ve had more connection to the fact that it was Helsknight that came of the cloning but Beef was trying something different so who knows

In hels kitchen, Evil X was asking a favor from Helsknight, but as far as I can tell, Helsknight didn’t owe him anything. EX was simply asking for help in his scheme

Regardless, it is interesting. And knowing they ran into each other eventually and knew each other long enough by then that you could consider them friends or even scheming acquaintances where Evil X can actively ask him for help occasionally is also very interesting. So it’s not far off to claim EX has done something for Helsknight before or vice versa

I mean who knows, Beef might’ve been compelled to clone Wels through some strange Evil X influence. But Helsknight does state that Wels having created the clone is what gave him the vessel to come over in the first place, so I dunno 😂

#I did find it interesting though #I do really wonder just how they came to start working together #and how evil x knows of hels #if it were through Helsknight showing him when they crossed paths or something #or some silly lore that I suppose all evils know evils haha #evil x does consider hels beesuma a friend #it’s also not far off to claim that he knew of the realm before Helsknight could even come to the overworld and the cloning stuff happened #AH #anyways I’m reading into things too much haha this is a fun concept you’ve sent me #that also being said please consider if this were the case that Helsknight body that he uses as the vessel has those lichtenberg scars

Before he died, my grandpa was telling people that I was a ghost writer.

He knew that I wrote constantly, watched me do it for decades, and he knew that I was somehow making money online with my writing.

What I was actually doing most of the time was writing fan fiction; something he did not know existed and since most of my fics are explicit, I didn't think he'd want to know. (although considering most of the books he read were steamy historical romances, he might not have cared too much)

I had also set up a patreon for original fiction, which I think I explained poorly when telling him about. "People pay me money to read what I write per chapter" was probably how I explained it. Which is accurate but that's not a model of reading that he's familiar with.

Given the circumstances and his limited knowledge, I'd say his guess was pretty good.

i made 2 new ocs and i love them but one of them is going to die and im upset about it

#my post #local man attempts to write a tragedy for the first time. wish him luck #its about a person whos disconnected from others and just. generally apathetic. survives and keeps to themself and thats about it #and then they meet another person. and they choose to let themself get attached. and its wonderful and exciting and fulfilling in a way thi #person hasnt felt in years. but like i said.. the other person is going to die.#and the person blocks it off turns it off pushes it down at first. but that just leaves a sinking feeling in the persons stomach every time #they look at the other. so they choose to feel it. they choose to feel the grief and the love at least until its time for them to part #and when they do. the person only considers pushing it down again. i mean its reflex at this point. but they let themself feel it and they #let themself cry and they let themself breakdown #and like. even though it hurts it hurts so much.. its better than not feeling it. and just the years of all of it of all the not feeling #comes out. and they head back home alone again #but this time. they think they might get themself a pet. and maybe theyll even talk to people when they go into town #the end #augh #i have no idea why my brain decided i was gonna make this. i dont know where the hell this came from #just went 'oo i want an oc whos learning how to care for others again' and oops! dead people!

I reblogged a post about how 5×5= 25 is Friday and mentioned synesthesia and now everyone in my notes keeps saying everyone does that/everyone has synesthesia

#im not gonna argue cause honestly. maybe #ive met a lot of synesthetes personally #i think theres definitely varying degrees though as much as their are different types #its hard to find research on it but supposedly their was a study done in the UK that came to the conclusion that most people #either do or can make themselves associate colors with sounds letters or numbers #but that compared to people with synesthesia their choices were much less systematic and the colors chosen were less vibrant #so basically they all had synesthesia but only to a certain extent #id actually be interested to see more studies about this #like i dont want to be like 'oo im just so special' but i wonder if there is a defining line between what i experience and normal people do #like obviously there will be one if you make one but idk how thay would work #i think some people are genuinely impaired or struggle in ways because of their synesthesia #especially people with mirror touch or taste synesthesia #hmm i will think about this

i cant believe the day but i finally got a full tower pc. bought it already built and at a considerable discount of some 320 dollars off. its fucking huge and theres so many things going on inside... i was initially planning on choosing the parts myself but finding the graphics card was so hard and everyone else convinced me to just buy it built and honestly? good. id probably have fucked this up so badly by myself

i cant use it yet bc i took too long to buy the monitor that was also on sale and now its regular price -_- tho i managed to find a discount used one for now. well see how that goes since ill get it tomorrow. i tested it on out living room tv and it had some kaspersky thingy open and like thats so cute. i hope they left some treats in the browsing history for me to search through before i wipe it clean

#its a hexer case and wouldnt you guess the front has a hexagonal pattern. so pretty..#it came with 3 fans installed there too that have a cmyk color style to them and it looks quite neat. im thinking of buying some leds to pu #inside the case to go with my keyboard tho idk if id go that far tbh (< gamer rot is setting in. im not immune to pretty lighting..)#its also got a lot of unused space inside. im thinking of making more sculptures to put in. though idk if thatd be safe for it #bc cold porcelain is glue and water. what if it evaporates inside and suddenly everythings covered in a glue film #i wonder if varnish would help? the transparent nail polish sure didnt do shit it came off like 2 days after sculpting the rw slug sleeping #which like yeah of course. its nail polish. but i didnt expect it to flake since all it does is sleep on top of my laptop keyboard #i need miniature glass cake cover tops to encapsule every sculpture inside for safety #looking at it still no wonder these are called towers gotdamn its legit so huge..#it looks awkward tho bc i cant fully make it glue to the wall bc of the cables so its like. awkwardly a bit in front of the wall #im scaared as to how to tell if it ever gets too hot. on a laptop u just press ur head against the left half and feel how hot it is #i think im gonna need software for this.. sigh. tho maybe ill never get to that point since its supposed to be decent #AND its not 8 years old + the 3 fans and gpu fan and cpu fan. surely thats enough. the case even has space for more than that!!#the acrylic side reflects my keyboard too. so niceys. stimulation for my creature eyes #my desk is gonna be so fucked up when i have to organize everything too bc the one i have now is perfecly laptop-oriented #it sits on a custom wooden desk and the keyboard+drawing tablet sit below. but theres a shelf on top of my desk thats too low for the>#>normal monitor to sit to so i wont be able to use the custom desk. and i dont even know what ill do with my laptop either #finally a good change in my sad life routine fr. i cant wait to play watchdogs on this and overgrowth and other ones #AND LAGLESS KRITA SMUDGE ENGINE BRUSHES!!! Honestly the only remake I'd gladly pay money to see right now would be Twilight. The whole thing. Twist: ALL of it directed by Catherine Hardwicke. Soundtrack is 95% Muse with Iron & Wine thrown in for sappy moments. Casting? Honestly? Kristen Stewart has to come back as Bella, nobody else works for her lmao. Everyone else? Shuffle. There's a permanent blue filter and cloud cover. The camera angles are tight and disorienting the entire time. Jacob is played by someone who can maybe actually act and animate his expressions without scrunching up his face like he's shitting?

#These are just a few ideas #I stg make me creative consultant I spent the entire 2010's steeped in this #Catherine and I would do it the justice it deserves #Twilight is amazing because for so many reasons it is as good as it is bad along every axis #Writing characters story tone #All of it laughably awful but at the same time is redeemed by something I can't help but enjoy so much #I have so much fondness for the bizarroness of it all #the Mormon overtones are cringe but easy to ignore if you just roll your eyes and assume the character in question is just dimwitted #but the rest is so accidentally charming and emblematic of 2009 and so unabashed in its portrayal of obsessive love #Stephenie meter didn't even do it on purpose the gem fell out of her by accident #Even though she put forth her best effort to ruin it in several places lmao #Everything about it is iconic and not reproducible #All the countless spin-offs and somehow even the similar ips that PRECEDED it feel like hollow copies of it how does that work???#like did you know the vampire diaries books came out BEFORE twilight!#It just got released later as a show to ride us over between twilight movies #there is just no other piece of teen media that is quite as gripping in its simultaneous cringe/indulgence #you want to look away but it grips you by the eyeballs with its unique brand of camp #i wonder what smeyer is up to these days #Twilight

HIIII DANNI IM OKAY!! honestly this is weird to say but i’m glad to see him go. he was suffering in every way imaginable before this and he didn’t like the state of the world and his home. he actually wanted to die, to be at peace. he was ready to go, he said it all the time. it was my cousin’s birthday the day before his stroke, and they had a long video chat just less than 12 hours before he got really bad, and for weeks he had been saying goodbye to his whole family without them realising. so i know his soul is finally at rest.

#buddythatsnotnatural #ask #tw death #tw illness #cw death #i spent time with my family and we said our own goodbyes to him #and honestly now i just want to start learning from this experience and make him proud #all he wanted from his family was for them to be happy and to be successful and just do things #and one of the last things he said to me was when i was wondering what job my uni course would take me to #and he said just try and put in the hard work and do your best and try and live a good life #so this was a man i was lucky to know.#i’ve learnt so much about him that i didn’t know before and i just realise how much he was loved #more than 200 people came to his gravesite even though there was only half of that allowed #he was one of the best people i’ve ever known #anyways sorry for ranting you just said a simple thing but #im just feeling glad that he’s happy and that im related to him
