i think it’s kind of interesting with the hexside tracks convo. i actually think construction magic is the only coven-specific type of magic we’ve ever seen hunter do? with that big earth fist he whacked amity with in eclipse lake. i don’t know if that would be an argument for or against him taking it as a class, but i feel like everything else we’ve ever seen him do is like,, not tied to a coven besides that one spell

(this is related to this old post but i put the answer in my drafts and the option of posting it vanished from my memory lmao)

tbh that IS true, i forgor it can be technically considered construction magic kxjsjks

i feel like there are so many spells and different "sub magic types" and magic courses that are kinda unclear which track they'd be taught at or where they fall under, especially since there are some tracks/magic types that we've only seen used in a very general way; like construction or oracle. we've seen manyyyy possibilities for some tracks, like abomination (like what darius vs alador vs amity can do, how differently it can be used) or bard (how at first glance it just feels like a "yeah we use instruments to fight and do spells" but then we also find out how much you can truly do with it and how much actually falls under bard magic through raine) or illusions (everything that gus, and graye, have been shown to do) etc. but some tracks/covens we have really just been kinda... shown from a very surface level lol

hell, i still wonder why anyone would ever choose a potion coven in a world during belos' reign, where you have to choose to only have one magic type, because... from all we've seen it seems like in order to make potions you don't really need any magic (having magic can help but it's not necessarily needed) so what magic DO you get??? you have to get something (maybe magic that can assist you in making potions?) but we have no clear idea what. also considering how oftentimes potion-making is also tied in with other magic types (like plants or healing or beast-keeping) it almost feels like it should be a sub-type of each magic or an addition rather than its own thing. BUT KXJSHSK YEAH like, we don't know! i wish it was more clearly fleshed out in the show.

there's also the fact that now that belos is gone, the society is able to take back their culture and history and practices that were lost to time and as we can see in the epilogue they're actively working on making the boiling isles less... belos-influenced. they're working on that process of decolonization and it's going to be a long LOOONG while until traces of belos' impact completely disappear, but there are already clear changes. the sky is clear again (just like it was in the "savage ages" - a contrast to the pollution we see in the emperor's coven era), palismen are being carved again and palistroms are coming back from being endangered, selkidomus is doing good, the once a police precinct in latissa is now a hospital and the hostile architecture around it (the spikes) is gone, there's now a way to remove sigils and everyone is free to pursue whatever they want. the society is healing. etc.

and covens, magic being split into these clear subtypes- was not ever really something natural. like yeah, there ARE magic types that seem very clearly "thematic" like you can very clearly separate bard magic from plant magic, and a witch can be naturally skilled in a particular thing (like willow or gus) but there are also some spells that overlap and some that seemingly don't fit into any covens at all. belos made up covens in order to limit witches' bodily autonomy and control their abilities, in order to seem more powerful and to create this structure of power. so i imagine that if you are in a coven, in any coven, there are spells that don't quite fit any of them, or some that fit all.

Lion Jay and Holly but as Mothpool kits! I really like this Au... Plus Leafpool and Mothwing. Going to talk abt some design stuff under the image. These designs are first drafts so they'll probably change in the future

Leafpool- Fawn and Cream torbie. Tried to add a lot of leaf shapes to her design but overall pretty straightforward. Ik she has yellow eyes but I always thought she had green?? So I gave her green. Idk.

Mothwing- Golden colorpoint with spotted tabby markings. Is this possible??? I don't care it looks nice. Moth shaped face and tail with antenna brows. She's very sturdy.

Lionblaze- Flame point with tabby markings. When I was making the three I was kind of toying with the possibility of changing their powers up a bit? Lionblaze has super strength but no invulnerability and being reckless in battle has lead to him getting pretty badly beat up. I'm not sure what the story consequences of this would be though. I was going to give all the three a chest star but I forgor. I'll have to change that when I tweak their designs in the future.

Jayfeather- Mink point with tabby markings, he's based on a stellar's jay instead of a blue jay like i usually see his designs get based off. I like it when he has eye markings on his body so I added that too. If I was going to change his powers I would probably limit it to either his emotion reading or dream walking? I'm not sure which though. Also he would probably be called Jaywing not jayfeather since he's not named after crowfeather in this AU.

Hollyleaf- Black tabby. Yes holly is a tiger clone in this au sorry. She's the most cryptid of her siblings. Holly should be allowed to have a power as a treat, maybe prophecy/visions?

So as we know the girls have a superhero AU now, and uh I forgor to mention this when I learned of this, but uh we have the girls' official powersets now thanks to the Thea Sisters' official blog

(These screenshots are from a Discord server because I can't use my VPN to access the blog in school--)

(And here's a piece that better showcases their powers, ye Italians this is a screenshot from a party invite)

Anyway so uh now we've got a rough idea of their powersets as well as one of the girls' moves (Colette's "SuperTornado"), y'know what that means :]]]

HEADCANONS GO BRRRRRRRR

This time around it's gonna be a little different since uh I don't have enough info on their powers (screw you Scholastic), which means it's really an AU of an AU, enjoy :D

(Context for the girls' powers, their powers are in their supersuits)

Colette: Kinda the most simplistic, in the sense that Colette doesn't need that much practice with it. Doesn't help that uh her usage of it is either lifting small things up, using it to fly, or spamming SuperTornado like an errant Dragonborn left with Unrelenting Force five seconds too unsupervised. She's very graceful and dramatic with it tho, which makes her the cover girl of the squad. Not a lot to say here besides that, if she'd just learned that her power is moving objects around instead of Unrelenting Force spam, maybe she can do more with them. For now, she fly and she FUSRODAH

Nicky: Her florokinesis is limited to plants that exist in the area she's in-- she can accelerate their growth to crazy proportions (think weeds but like human-sized), but if the plant's not there, then she's got nothing to work with. Much to her later chagrin, her power is the most situational. If she were stuck in a fully concrete city, a desert or the tundra, she's basically screwed. The Sinister Seven (the Sinister Six to the SuperSisters' Spider-Man) have learned to reinforce their fortresses with carbon fiber, steel and other things plants can't get through. If she's not keeping watch outside and restraining enemy guards with plants, she's OHKO melee-ing her opponents like crazy.

Pam: She can make fire with her powers and hypothetically make as much as she wants, with the only caveat of draining her suit's energy very quickly if she has to keep it burning too long. Her power is the most underutilized because of its dangerous nature and the girls' intense no-injuries/casualties challenge during their missions. Poor woman gets stuck in the getaway driver's seat most of the time, and the time she isn't, she is paired with Violet just in case something goes awry. She figured out that any sort of outside friction when conjuring her fire actually saves a bit of her suit's energy, so sometimes she rubs her hands together/snaps her fingers when summoning fire.

Violet: Has the most utilitarian power of the girls. She's figured out a technique that makes it look like she's materializing water out of thin air, but it's actually a long game of grabbing a droplet of water and shaking it around in mid-air to catch more water molecules. Yeah, raiding the enemy base's sprinkler system is far preferable for her. Her magic overall is very waterbending vibes, but she has yet to figure out that moving her body with the direction she wants to move the water is significantly easier than standing in one place with both hands forward and letting her brain do all the work. She also does the ice surfing thing Shoto Todoroki does, how she doesn't slip and crumple on the ice while wearing heels in her costume is a mystery even to her. As of now she's at a bottleneck with her powers (because of the no-movements thing), and it's driving her crazy.

Paulina: Has the gimmickiest powers of the group, and has spent the most time training with them. See uh magnets right, y'know how they have north and south, and uh lightning is just a manifestation of negatively-charged electrons moving down to the positively-charged ground? Paulina has the ability to saturate any object with positive or negative charges, which allows her to strike that thing with electricity/lightning; but that's just the big smooth brain surface-level aspect of her power. Blahblahblah science stuff, woman can make electromagnets out of anything, which means that she's got all sorts of silly things she can do. Need to open a metal door that has two sides close into each other? Make like poles out of the two halves so they push themselves apart. Need to block the same door off? Make opposite poles out of door halves so they stick together with the strength of neodymium magnets. She can also do this on non-metal things like uhh herself, but it takes a lot of concentration and energy to do that for prolonged periods of time. Her suit's visor allows her to keep track of the electric/magnetic fields that she's creating, as well as ones that already exist. Hypothetically yes this means you can give her sensory overload by putting too many magnets in one room/place. The most broken thing she's made so far is an electromagnetic railgun.

Currently watching: Death Note (rewatching; its been so long but this is so amusing), Avatar: the Last Airbender (the original. Also a rewatch obvi), Yellowstone (but only when my sister’s in town bc were watching it together but. Its been a while). I also started watching A Place Further Than The Universe with my friend. It’s an anime about high school girls going to antarctica :D

Last movie: Fantastic Mr. Fox. Good shit!! Stop motion is So neat

Sweet/spicy/savory: savory ! I do like the others ofc but most often crave something savory.

Last thing I googled: the formula for the surface area of a cube (sue me, i forgor). My irls and i were chatting about telekinesis and its limitations being based on both weight and surface area so naturally i had to do some quick math and theorize about how to use telekinetic powers to limit the surface area of the object youre trying to lift by applying telekinetic force at an infinitesimal point of even weight distribution, therefore allowing you to nearly negate the surface area limitation :D it seems like it would be very difficult to apply so i can imagine only your telekinetic masters being able to do that.

Current obsession(s): The Hunger Games. Specifically, my canon-divergent universe composed entirely of original characters that I’ve written nearly 500k words for :D and specifically within that universe, the handful of characters that im incapable of shutting up about ! I’m also pretty consistently obsessed with outer space and doggies (it has been approximately ten days and ten house since i last cried about Laika ;__; )

Currently working on: I assume this means writing but I have a couple things I’m working on in general ! First, the epilogue fic to True Vengeance ;-; then, I also have a one shot in the works (and by in the works i mean its 99.9% complete, theres just a few edits i gotta make). I’m also constantly working on numerous stories in my brain even if I’m not actively writing/posting them. Non-writing-wise, I’m currently knitting a blanket. I wanted to learn how to cable knit and there’s no better way to learn something than by doing it repeatedly for thousands of stitches !! Also working on an art portfolio so I can apply to a few art schools too because. It sounds fun ;-; That’s probably it rn !

Just 'some' CPC future HCs according to Seasons

As I used to say that CPC is the only webtoon that I wish have many spin off episodes, if want to tell in orders then what I wish to happened (as now we're likely at the end of the Autumn now which feels like ready to be winter anytime). These moments feels like a perfect spin-off materials 0.0

CPC in Winter

The Dealing (like conclusion) for the Omniscient Clam & Frederick inititated to CPC as way to eases his recurring nightmares

-> If the Clam actually a cursed artifact that can't be negotiated, I want CPC members to destroy it with their curse (like simply make Aurelia vomit on it?)

-> but if they could be negotiated, I somehow think 'switching "power" spell' could works between Nell and the Clam (as both have premonition abilities) - this make the Clam weakened (it didn't have all knowledge of the word, only future ones as bad omens) and will 'dying' when it's time come [as not prolongig it's life again with it's asker life force - if that theory becomes true] while Nell gaining knowledges that limited to curses-cures which helping CPC members that want to be free from their curse - with kinda ridiculous rules like only at the start of the month etc - but at least Nell didn't need to suck out anyone life's force

-> Frederick isn't left unscathed with all pains and mental tortures that he experienced espc during the time he got imprisonment, and have recurring nightmares daily at the CPC which make him both so embarassed and horrified to everyone. CPC planning him a slumber party where he finally could get his peace, hugging his inner child and could sleep peacefully as he let go painful things at the past

CPC in Spring

Maria's first public recital at the Pastel plaza (Spring time) & Frederick+Leopold+Jamie 'secretly' making a movement to improve the quality of cursed people life

-> one thing that I forgor between winter-spring: Leopold fixing all 'scary looking' Lilyth/Leelathea's potrait (espc if the theory that Lilyth still in this word as lingering soul/ghost is true, then she could cancel out her second dying wish and wishing that she want her potraits could be hung up in the Pastel palace) - and Jack's bubble that bursted out by Leland's betrayal could finally begin to heals - he begin to supporting all his children's dreams

-> Maria finally could hosting her first public recital (but idk if in this point, she'll forgives Blaine or not=if she forgives him, then the recital could accompanied by Blaine. If not, Leopold could convinces his cousin prince Griffin to help instead). The sure thing, Maria did a power move to dedicated her song to CPC - as the unsung heroes that's really help Pastel kingdom in the crisis + she's afraid of her kingdom's folk views to CPC

-> but turn out everyone in the Pastel kingdom already warms up with CPC (starting from the Pastel plaza shopkeeper, because they're already familiar enough with CPC members doing daily activities there and totally okay with their condition being cursed people)

+ some people that don't meet CPC members personally, turn out already warmed out to them from 'secret movement' of the trio Frederick-Jamie-Leopold (give me insight of the trio name.. what if LeoMieBook?) - as quite some time before Maria's recital, Frederick making brochures to give awareness of what the curses actually is and highlighting that cursed people is not that different with others too (they're have rights and deserved rights, so like ep 100 [curses] but in positive light) ; Leopold in charge of making the arts on the brochure so it's more eye-catching + mass-producing the brochures ; while Jamie the one that shares it (similar pose with young Jack did to artifact's rights)

CPC in Summer

-> CPC got huge renovations (remember that the front side of the mansion look too beaten down because the construction crew/Carpenters are so afraid to Jolie and Thermidora?) - the construction crew that used to want fend off 'the possum witch' now after learn CPC actually is, become the main crew of the renovation project

--> As the outside form of CPC got reform, so is the inside. Prez decides to make delegations of tasks in CPC + the sad news that Thermidora decides to back as her lobster form (in doing so, also to guarding the Omniscient Clam in the ocean of her kingdom) so does Nell&Jolie that decides to marry in the winter (Nell want to stays in Lace kingdom, and Jolie want to spread the 'respect cursed people' movement to her kingdom too) which makes them will leaving CPC

-> CPC kinda devastated with the news of 3 members will leave at once, but they're promised to plan the best "graduation" ceremony possible for them + also revealation that Aurelia find the cure for her curse, but declared that even when she's cured - she's still want to stays in CPC

Also the delegation of the tasks is like what Isaac write in here : and with my personal intake writing it as list:

Prez: she's the face (or ambrassador if could) of CPC - she's still doing what she used to do (like protecting CPC members and recon) but passing the jobs to other members + being the informant as having spidey sense still stays thou

Curtis: wikia said that he't the co-owner of CPC, I have mixed thought about it due to it never explicitly say in CPC (because from what I see, is more of Curtis accompanying Prez in scooping potential new members0 - so, well.. he doing what he used to do but with workload burden lessen up - as CPC respects Curtis' job more and even learn to become better in chores which immensely helpful to Curtis

Whitney: he's hosting 'new lecture (as variation of Prez')' which are some routine of meditation/yoga session to CPC members, which really helpful to calm CPC members nerves espc to Monika

Saffron: the minister of hearing, and the official gardener of the CPC. The beautiful CPC's garden become the favorite place to telling any woes from CPC members that latter will decided as urgent (as need haste? or need club-wide meeting?) or could be handled later on

Frederick: once he has a room in CPC, he turns his room to be like a library. He'll become the hot in the future librarian of the CPC while helping to plan any wide-club activities in CPC (like slumber party, or give pointers to Prez' lectures [which now not solely from Prez, but any member that want to share anything is free to do so]. He's also the leader of the WO (wedding organizer) comittee for Nell and Jolie

Gwendolyn: the most cute and kindest CPC member which now in the spin-off speisodes she already learn to self-love nicely, she's become another emotional support for CPC members - she might still working on her communication skill, but her cookings def brightens anyone's day + like Whitney, she hosting 'special lectures' like how to cook simple breakfasts/bake cookies/sewing things (Frederick might kind of worrying Gwen as it could be 'too much' sometimes, but with their improved relationship - she often consulting to Frederick first about her lecture ideas and accept his help to prepare the lectures)

Abbi, Monika and Syrah (they're grouped together because often together, and have special dynamic of "kinda not trusting people easily, but will if the opportunity arrive): which them together seems to be perfect recon team for potential members (so the recon mission not solely fall to Prez) with their personas; Abbi is very bold and honestly 'violent' to reveal true side of potential member; Syrah could tell people if lying or not-as professional lie-er herself; Monika being a crow could scope the location first to determine the place of potential member is safe or not first

Aurelia: the appointed vice-prez, as her insights that differs with Prez ideals actually give much-needed insights to find the middle of balance. Also, Aurelia seems to be one of the members that genuinely like Prez' lectures (remember that she's jealous of Gwen because one of it as being 'new member', could help to decides the lecture topic?)

10. Renee: one of the most eager member that want her curse be removed, I theorized that in this summer timeframe - she already cured along with Aurelia, but like her best friend she decides to stays in CPC as well. She's helping Aurelia which becomes vice-prez to improve CPC 'from background characters' perspective'

11. Thermidora as said before, return back to her kingdom as finally back to be a lobster princess - and together with the baron Benedict she'll guard the omniscient clam

12. Nell and Jolie kinda like the inter-kingdom relation division, as Lace kingdom personally supporting CPC with any way they could along with 'positive perspective' kingdoms that CPC members are - Metallic, Foliage, Neon, Quilt, Polygon + Plaid and Pastel as defensive support from Lance and Lorena and Suzanna

Also in June (aka Summer), there's a wedding!

the sommelier and George wedding! Jamie sure will be invited (as he's literally the reason they're together), but IDK if CPC members is invited too - but if they are it will be interesting to see reactions of more people accepting CPC. It will be a lovely event to witness definetely

Also with preparing Nell and Jolie's wedding + got invited to a wedding, this make me think that Gwen - or from Frederick as well - to have idea to preparing their own wedding and feels quite ready to have it 'soon' (I think the fastest, and I think it's quite okay too alrdy - to have Frederick and Gwendolyn marry 2 years after their first meeting which make them 18 & 19 y.o - and quite already healed from things + they're improved a lot as person as marriage actually like this, is not the ending part of relationship but actually the beginning - to become better, together

CPC in Autumn - anniversary of the canon events

-> Autumn at CPC more of parties in sense, with reflecting and reminiscent what happened so far one year ago - this also could be turning point if CPC (Prez espc) want CPC to not just a club or turns out to be kind of a school

also if Gwen's potrait still not getting back from the Cosmopolitan Princesses Conservatory - it's time for action to getting it back then hang it to our lovely CPC

EXTRA : WEDDINGS

-> Nell and Jolie's wedding in the winter that year with theme "Winter Wonderland" and nice wedding cake that Gwen personally made with more of their colors (pink/purple/red) :

-> Frederick seems impartial to any seasons, while Gwen favorite season is Autumn - and here we got the season of their wedding. I feel it will lovely to held it at evening while the fallen leaves that changing colors is softly fly away - the wedding hold outdoor in the forest of the CPC. Everyone are invited (even Princels, which somehow I think get some 'betterment' in this final season and in 'okay' relationship with CPC), Frederick had make up and forgives his families (except Leland-he deserved it) but the best man isn't his brothers but Whitney, Gwendolyn have hard time to decides who'll be her bride maid among CPC members (feel free to reply or blog who's feel the best on that role, is: Prez? Syrah? Abbi? Aurelia? Monika?) while her siblings having the role of: Maria that singing the love songs in her dear sister wedding, Lorena guards this 'inter-kingdom' wedding event while Jamie the one that do the catering (aside from the wedding cake that Gwen made herself for her own wedding (it will be mainly white with Green pastel and plaid decorations around) - it's not bad omen okay amirite aameen

I've just remember about the time skip vote (Isaac's polling) about what people want for CPC in the future - thus here my personal intake in the form of HC's on the following options!

"The Princels change as people and disband their group, but stay friends" - there's only one named Princel so far which is Orson, and we didn't have name yet for the 'shorty' and 'the big ear' one - but just theorized they're from Zig zag and Beige kingdom respectively. I really hope they could changes for the better, deep down they're good people (like helping Prez to find Nell, and never exposing CPC actually) - it's just they're still 'jerks' with toxic mentality of Incels. Out of all the 3, Orson likely the one that could changes to be better - or probably if they could get chance to see that Blaine isn't really "perfect" - they could change? One will see -

"The Pastel siblings visit the Braided Island and meet their grandparents" -> I truly want this to happen, as does many people - this option is the winner after all. But one thing that should be thread with caution: Leelathea/Lilyth could be seen as 'stolen/kidnapped' by the 'weird strange man' which is Jack ~ around 23 years ago of their current story. So, I am afraid this visit could go smoothingly if they're didn't make necessary preparations before go to the Braided Island (like, maybe braiding their hairs too and give offerings?). Also one of the HC/theory that I wish could happen, Lilyth is still stays in their world as 'corporeal spirit' - might smoothen things between the could-be hostility that could arise from the Braided Island folks especially their grandparents. Btw I really hope that the 2 characters of CPC that really want to going on 'adventures' which are Frederick and Prez Calpernia could follow along with the Pastel siblings. Frederick to able to see a 'mythical island' where people that look like his fiance & Prez to have adventure which what she used to can't do as 'model princess' can't really do before.

Abbi's curse is cured -> along with Renee TBH! Because those two seems the CPC members that the most eager to have their curse got cured (remember the episode [at the end of the gala]?) - not sure how but my theory is the witch could halps, as her knowledge about curses also might have some about the cures too. BTW this option is similar to CPC bingo with one of the block is 'someone curse is cured' 0.0

Whitney reunites with Blacquelyn -> well, this problematic...

Because this.. For Whitney, I think he won't return to his kingdom willingly... He probably could try to fix his family thou - but doing so I think it means the breaking down of the Monochrome kingdom entirely because his sister clearly can't lead, his brother become a dog, the whole kingdom of his seems totally unhabitable... prob could be changes it to become an inter-kingdom prison for someone 'in high position' but irredeemable like Leland?

For Whitney it kinda complicated but one thing for sure: he won't willingly return back to Monochrome kingdom, and if he ever do it solely to fix the broken heaps of his kingdom rn = the supposed king Greyden cursed to be a dog by his sister that kinda gone crazy? I have no idea how Whitney could save his kingdom, if that has chance to be saved at all - but I think his interactions with Frederick (that at same time will healing himself from the toxicities of the Plaid kingdom) making him to fix his relationship with his siblings I think his priority is fix his Family, and for the monochrome kingdom idk how it ends but I feel it need to change the leadership system - like no need monarchy (espc if Greyden can't be cured) and changes it to something like democracy ig? or breaks ultimately

yeah so heres danger and chaos

more info:

theyre fraternal twins. danger having those occasional red and black quills makes her look slightly burnt, hence her name. danger's always at the club, trying to find someone to no avail. chaos went to a goth club 1 time and found her fiancée. the two have a typical sister dynamic overall.

danger is very loud and extroverted, like her father, however is also very socially awkward, which is partially why she doesn't really have much success in finding love. she gets teased by her family, who say it's for being the only straight one in the house. overall, though, her biggest problem is that she generally gets herself thrown into Situations far too much. she also got into roller skating from shadow, so is in a roller derby team as the jammer.

chaos is the dominant twin. she always has her nose in a book (she typically reads victorian literature, or anything set in that time) and is a goth. she gets mad at danger sometimes for stealing her fishnets, but she doesn't care too much, because she much prefers lace anyway. she only ever wears big poofy dresses or anything without sleeves, partially because she's had too many times where she's been mistaken for a shadow android. her biggest problem is the fact that she's too nosy for her own good, with her always trying to find out stuff about people, even subconsciously.

the two wear 1 inhibitor ring rather than 4 and cant keep up with sonic and shadow, however they're still more powerful than the average mobian. they can run at about sonic and shadow's typical pace, with their absolute limit almost breaking the sound barrier. danger typically kicks and slams, while chaos usually throws and stomps on people.

OKAY! Event grinding! You'll want to have approx 900-1000+ (9000-10,000+ on en i believe?) dia saved up!

Play on whatever's comfiest for you in terms of BP, i recommend around 2-3 until it starts getting unbearable and then popping up to 6 with a 10bp or two in there every now and then. There's apparently some optimal rotation but I've long forgotten it. If you're a masochist like I was the first time i did an event, you can play on 1bp as well since that maximizes your level exp gain.

You'll want to play on whatever song gives you the highest score - aim for anything close to 1mil in terms of power in the song (i can show you where to find that if you don't know :3) playing a song with the members of the unit in a matching element also boosts your score! Also play only that song and the event song. Get comfy (<- guy who still cannot stand walk with your smile and stippling to a small degree) and learn the beatmap - then go listen to something other than the game. trust me. listening to a video essay makes it way more bearable while you play the same song 500 times.

Anyway! Score! You'll want to get 500k points a day. Roughly. You can get more or less, but you want to shoot for a minimum of abt 500k unless you're confident you can catch up another day. I tend to get abt 600-700k a day if i can since that gives me leeway to take a break sometimes.

Get the work outfits from the shop ASAP, its not much but it helps to have them to do the event work! Also keep your BP notifications on and drain it as often as you can - maximize the free BP you can get! I think if you play a little more "relaxed" you aim for abt 300-400k a day, relying primarily on free BP refills, whistles, and the occasional dia spend (that usually costs you abt 800-1000, versus the 1000+ that playing "aggressively" does) there's an exact number but again, i have forgor it.

so ! yeah ! i've gotten 3 event cards - Acanthe Mika, Romancing Cruise Natsume, Coruscate Breeze Leo, and Cafe Tsumugi (i forget the song name lmao) using those techniques, so :3 they work ! events in enstars are agonizing though. don't go for every even 5*. save for your faves or the characters you like best. I'm a IzuRitsuLeo and NatsumugiP. I only grind for Leo, Ritsu, and Natsume cards primarily but i've gone for tsumugi before and regret not getting or the beautiful golden drop izumi so sdkghds but !! yeah !!!

it is agonizing and painful and you will want to throw your phone across the room after playing one song 100+ times but hey. at least you got a shiny new card of your beloved to show off

YOOOO LIVEBLOG ANON!!!

Ok so, Rythian's a human that was taken to the End (implied that the portal his scientist parents built was what allowed the endermen into the overworld) and raised to be a warlord and take over the overworld. At some point, he realized "actually this sucks" and ran away? details unclear--to the overworld, where he set up shop in the "Old World," an old Yogscast server. There, he was the resident wizard/sorcerer and played up the "totally not evil" thing. Duncan and Sjin then had a whole fight that culminated in Sjin burning everything with his fire ring and sabotaging Duncan's nuclear reactor so that it blew up and destroyed the server.

Rythian wakes up underground in the New World (colloquially called Tekkitopia or whatever by fans back in the day, usually in fics) and sets off to get revenge. He scams Sjin and Sips by pretending to be an employee of the new Sipsco, wanting to get items. It totally works, and he disappears to set up shop elsewhere. As he's scoping out an area, Zoey falls from the sky!!! Cue Blackrock.

There's some really fun tidbits like Rythian's enderbane sword burning him because of how end magic because interwoven with his being. Quote from Rythian: "From birth he was trained to use the powers of the End, and while he eventually adopted different disciplines of magic, the End left it’s mark. Enough to make the Enderbane hurt him, but not enough to do any worse."

More on Enderbane: "...the idea was that it was created and enchanted by magesmiths from the Realm of Twilight in ages past, and used in a war between the two peoples long ago. The weapon was used to great effect to slay Endermen, but what really helped win the war was the realm-wide aura that nullified/subdued/limited the use of End magic."

The wraps on his hands are from Enderbane burning his skin :) (We know this because Dusty asked him. Thanks Dusty!)

His hair streaks: According to Rythian, the hair streaks are because "powerful acts of magic have a physical cost." After healing Zoey between seasons one and two, he gets some gray streaks. The blond hair streak is from a past act of magic that has slowly been healing over time. Which has absolutely batshit implications bro what did he do

This time I got a question about elemental powers, or how elements relate to each other (since I'm in the mood for that today)

As you know, the show established that elements are related to each other in certain ways, Wind and Lightning for example (Jay apparently being able to use "Wind" in I think Season 1 or 2) or the obvious Water and Ice (Nya commanding ice in Season 11).

So the question is, is the idea of relating elements utilised in A New Spin?

Cuz frankly, it sounds sick if there's something like Nya and Zane using each other's elements in bad scenarios

But it also could be goofy, by Jay for example using his limited wind control to annoy someone, or Kai for example focusing smoke in one area to either hide himself, or just to nudge smoke in someone's direction if they're annoying him

I HAVEN'T REALLY... THOUGHT ABOUT ANS LATELY I'VE BEEN IN OC WORLD BRAIN INSTEAD... BUT elemental connections are an idea I've thought of. Idk how they'd work, but yeah like, maybe Cole can use metal and nature, maybe Kai CAN mask himself with smoke, maybe Jay can go into hyperspeed bc he also has speed powers, who knows?

Caveats to Shei's powers

Every power has a weakness, and with Shei, they are one and the same. He can shapeshift at will, but intense emotions or sensation can cause their abilities to act on their own accord, Not dissimilar to reflexive actions or stimming that a regular person would have. (Being a shapeshifter grants access to new and exciting forms of stimming!) This most commonly occurs as a result of pain, and since shapeshifting is inherently painful, Shei needs painkillers to utilize the full extent of his powers. Extreme emotion, whether positive or negative, can also manifest this behavior. With positive emotions typically being less dangerous than negative emotions. And now, onto some races present on Shei's version of earth

The vaguely benevolent, the very fucking bad, and the scary as fuck

Shei lives two centuries into the future of earth, and humanity has unlocked the terrible secrets of uncontrollable, self-improving artificial intelligence. These machines are divided into three factions, the Angels, the Demons, and the Fae.

The fae are an enigmatic and curious bunch, curious in an unethical scientist way, not a shy mystical creature way. If a location is suspected of hosting fae, it's either bombed to slag, or avoided like the plague. Fairies are masters of physiological experimentation, stretching the genome of their subjects -and the structures of their bodies- to the very limit, and beyond when they can help it. Don't talk about them around Shei, they make his skin crawl.

Demons are about what you'd expect, Voltron but edgier. They are exceedingly rare, as their very existence conflicts with the interests of both humans and the other machine factions. Demons want every living being dead or suffering, and generally prefer their territory to be as uninhabitable as possible, even with most of them destroyed, their territory remains unsafe to live in and very unnerving, seemingly designed to do psychological harm just by dwelling there.

Angels are a bit of an odd bunch, benevolent but distant. They hold an experimental angle to their attempts at creating utopia, many angels are found at the center of cults, using their subjects to study the merits and weaknesses of this authoritative structure or that way of living. If an angels cult begins to collapse, they will prioritize archiving their experiences and sending that information to as many other angels as possible, rather than trying to save themselves or their people.

also i forgor to mention why i even bring up the detail of lysandre's themes having dogfights. if you didn't know, aside from dogfights being a music term in marches, they're also a term for aerial battles done at a close range <3 which pushes the themes of military and over all militant power held. which is why they're even apart of music terminology--specifically marches.

also the fact that lysandre labs absolutely develops high tech weapons that are including but not limited to aircrafts, as shown in the anime and i believe also the manga, but i could be misremembering. LL is also shown to have literal large scale submarines in the anime, and cloaking technology. motherfuckers are INSANELY advanced.

theory - diavolo is nightbringer??

this is mostly a joke but yeah. i’ve seen posts explaining why every side character could be nightbringer except diavolo so i am here to fill that void

disclaimer: i haven’t even finished the first game i’m stuck on lesson 27 cuz my cards are shit

nb spoilers ahead

ok so things that could make diavolo nightbringer:

1. he is old as hell and a demon which nightbringer is probably a demon. and old as hell

4. he is crazy overpowered like do we even know the extent of his powers.. he also controls when and how barbatos uses his time lord powers so he has those at his disposal too

2. has a UR card that’s about apple picking and apples are like the forbidden fruit or whatever, what if it was diavolo who gave adam and eve those shits and that’s why adam was stuck in the devildom for a while? if diavolo is nightbringer that explains how adam knows him, also maybe diavolo felt bad for him so that’s why he told him about the ring that could get his ass back to the celestial realm

6. diavolo and nightbringer’s goals are not necessarily in conflict. diavolo wants to build a better relationship between the three realms and nightbringer wants to bring night to the world whatever that means, probably has something to do with the devildom becoming more powerful than the other realms. maybe diavolo wants to become the ruler of all 3 realms so he can make sure things stay peaceful for everyone

73: one other thing nightbringer wants is for MC to be happy which diavolo also wants along with like the entire cast, however nightbringer doesn’t rly give us a choice in the matter and acts like he knows what’s best for us. diavolo is guilty of this sometimes too and can be pushy when he wants something because he thinks he knows what’s good for other people

94. i think diavolo has good intentions but he’s still a sussy baka just like nightbringer. can’t help being a scorpio.. sure he never lies but he’s still kinda shady sometimes. like the whole deal with raphael threatening war if the brothers don’t go back to the celestial realm. when diavolo agreed to let the brothers stay i was like ?? dude they’re gonna nuke everyone what is u doing. his decision only makes sense if he knew michael was just joshing all along (which he probably did because he can tell when people are lying). but in that case why would u go along with the bit like that when the stakes are so high and giving everyone anxiety? not funny babygirl

15. other sussy baka moments are his comments about destiny and shit, knowing full well he has a time butler who can manipulate the past and future to what he wants it to be (this power is probably limited like diavolo from jojo’s power but still crazy to believe in fate when u can literally choose it yourself)

i don’t think past!diavolo could be nightbringer but he might be aware of his other self’s intentions and that’s how he knows we have a connection and trusts us despite barely just meeting each other in this timeline

8. seems like a really long winded and unnecessarily complicated plan to make us go through 80 lessons then cancel that timeline and send us to the past but diavolo has been known to make some pretty big sacrifices for the sake of his goals. he sent us into the past before in lesson 16 where we died but one version of ourself survived so that apparently makes it all ok, also was going to kick us out of the devildom for the sake of his reputation, and some other stuff i forgor

anyway every other demon king has died in combat (with the celestial realm perchance?) so it makes sense that diavolo wants to do everything possible to save his own ass (and the entire world from getting destroyed by the celestial realm) even if it means some of his other selves get obliterated

or maybe none of this means anything and nightbringer is actually just maddi the witch or some shit. sorry for making diavolo sound like an ass i actually like him a lot i just like coming up with silly theories more and solmare’s bad writing makes it easy

13. Austria. Okay fun start, go queens! Very interesting vocal turns and melodies. Staging is immaculate! Costumes are great. UGH. Edgar lmao. A lot of red, we moving the spectrum it seems.

14. Albania. I swear Albania sent this before. Sorry, deja vu is insane for me here. Flashing aggressive red lights solidified spectrum change. Native language is an automatic W. Wait, I thought the limit was 5 people on stage, they had 6.

15. Lithuania. Pink and red, bold choice, bringing it all together. Okay more of a purple and orange, shut up. Back up is overpowering her when they sing chorus, at least it mixed better.

16. Australia. Oh I liked thier postcard bridge. Doing interesting thing with camera, lights. Some pink and red. Oh was that a brief breakdown, alrighty. Crisp guitars and synth. Ending with headbang, very energetic!
